I'd like your attention back to the Old Testament, the book

found within the Minor Prophets found the black, The Book of

Micah And we'll read There by way of introduction.

The first seven verses of Matt, Micah chapter forward, Micah

Micah 4 · chapter mention

chapter 4, beginning there in verse, number one, Micah writes,

this as the Lord is giving him these words unto the nation of

Judah. He says, they're now, it shall

come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's

house, shall be established on the top of the mountains and

shall be exalted above the hills and people shall flow to it.

Many nations shall come and say come and let us go up to the

mountain of the Lord to the house of the god of Jacob.

He will teach us his ways and we shall walk in his paths for out

of Zion, the law shall go forth and the word of the Lord from

Jerusalem. He saw judged between many

peoples and rebuke, strong Nations afar off.

They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their Spears

into pruning. Hooks Nation shall not lift up

sword against and against Nation.

Neither shall they learn War anymore but everyone shall seat

under a cell sit under his Vine and under his fig tree and no

one shall make them afraid. For the mouth of the Lord of

hosts has spoken for all people walk each and then in the name

of his God, but we will walk in the name of the Lord, Our God

forever and ever, in that day says the Lord, I will assemble

the lame. I will gathered the outcasts and

Those who I have Afflicted, I will make the lame, a Remnant,

and the outcast is strong Nation.

So the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion from now on even

forever. These are wonderful words

written by Micah. And we're going to discuss what

these words mean and how wonderful they are.

And if these words have even come true today, but we're going

as we discuss this passage here in chapter 4.

What I want to do is take a brief survey of the book up

until chapter 4 and then we'll talk about what it means as

Micah rights, these things unto the nation of Judah and also

Israel, but mainly Judah in this book so before we Do these

things. It is now, a great Duty as well

and also a great blessing to be able to go to God in a word of

prayer. So we'll ask yourselves to

Humble yourselves as we do that at this time, before we talk

about the book a little bit this morning, let's find out a little

bit about the man, Micah, who he was, where he came from, what

his, what his way was how he performed his ministry.

Well, we know that his name is Micah and all.

It means something as we find over in chapter 8 and verse 8,

our chapter 7 rather and verse 18, his name means who is like

to Hova And also his home as we find in the first chapter verse

1 and also verse 14 that his home was in more set Gap.

Now, more said death was found in the lowlands of Judah.

It was over near philistia, which was about 20 to 25 miles,

Southwest of the city of Jerusalem.

So, that is where he, he Abode. But really nothing is known of

his occupation prior to becoming a prophet of the Lord God But we

do know a little bit about his character though.

In fact there are two commentators Homer Haley and

James Smith who caught whoo-hoo. I give some I comment about him

Homer. Haley says this about Micah he

says he was a prophet of the poor and also of the downtrodden

anomaly. That James Smith said that he

had Amos has passion for justice and he had hosea's heart for

love. So this gives us an idea about

this man. Mike it But you know, there is

something interesting that we must understand is we're talking

about Micah. And that is since Mike and

became a prophet, right? After Isaiah as the two of them

prophesied to the same audience and mostly we it was due to.

There are some interesting things to see as to compare and

contrast between Micah and Isaiah.

For example, Micah was a man of the fields and spent most of his

time prophesying to the In the rural parts of Judah.

Now, on the other hand, there was Isaiah who spent most of his

time in the city and prophesied to the people of the city, to

the people, the city, and in the same lines.

Michael took little interest in politics and giving himself to

the concern over spiritual and more problems.

But, on the other hand, Isaiah was in close contact with world

affairs, such as the associate of kings and also princes, and

he stayed close to these people. People and gave them God's

message about warnings and it also punishments that were going

to come onto those people. But even though these two men

were different and even though they prophesied during about the

same time, both of them saw God as the infinite ruler of

Nations. And men.

Not only that they also recognize the absolute Holiness

and the absolute magistrate Majesty of God and only that,

but thirdly, they They stressed that violating the principles of

God's Divine sovereignty, and Holiness would bring judgment

upon those people. And these men were Servants of

the Lord God as they prophesied to the people.

As God gave them this message by way of the Holy Spirit in order

to tell these people what they were doing wrong and what they

had to change and if they didn't change punishment was coming,

Well, knowing a little bit about this man.

We now move to the book and when Micah wrote this book, it was

during the time when the Northern Kingdom of Israel was

falling under the attack by the Assyrians.

Now Israel had been warned by God to repent and told them that

if they didn't repent then certainly punish would come upon

these people. Well, we've seen part of that

when we talked a little bit about what Amos said to them,

and also what Hosea said to them, the course they Aside to

the nation of Israel and we if you remember how time and time

again, they said you guys got to stop.

Quit doing what you're doing. If not punishment is coming, and

that's what exactly happened. Punishment came because they

chose not to repent. They chose not to change and do

God's Will. And so that punishment was the

attack of the Assyrians, and we see that that came to pass when

God said he was going to do something, he did it and he

said, serious in all these things.

Well, he he he sent a serious attack, the Northern Kingdom of

Israel, and from this event. And also from the time that

Isaiah wrote this book we can sort of gather that Micah wrote

this book between the years of 735 and also and between 735 and

some 700 BC. Now, the message of this

particular book is simply stated as this Present judgment.

Future blessings. Now, in order to break that down

blessings, will come. Why is because of God's

faithfulness to Israel? That's why For example, even

though God punished Israel, he would still stay true to his

word about the Covenant that he made with Abraham concerning all

nations being blessed. In fact we find this Genesis 22

and 18 where he gives this promised Abraham.

He says in your seed all nations of the Earth shall be blessed

because you have obeyed, my voice and God was going to stay

true to that this entire time. Well God will fulfill This

Promise. Through who through Jesus

Christ. And we see that was quite

evident for in fact, Peter, preached this very thing to the

people. As he stood there on Solomon's

porch there in Acts chapter 3, he said, beginning of verse

Acts 3 · chapter mention

number, 24 of how this did come did come to pass.

He said yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those

who follow as many items as have spoken.

Have also foretold these days you are sons of the prophets and

of the Covenant, which God made with our fathers saying to

Abraham And in your seed, all the families of the Earth shall

be blessed to you. First.

God, having raised up his servant, Jesus sent him to bless

you and turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

So we see here that God was faithful to his word.

Even though he punish these nations, his plan would still

come into existence. That all nations will be blessed

through Abraham. See and so understanding that

And understanding that there are future blessings like that are

going to happen to serve as an outline for this book Mica can

be broken up into three main parts due to its three messages

unto Judah. Each message is quite easy to

distinguish because it uses the word here.

Uses the word here, to begin that message and then it

describes a judgment for Israel and Judah, but as followed by a

future blessing to that nation and the outline is as follows.

If you're taking notes, the first message is this found in

1:1 on down to chapter 2 verse 13, where there is a coming

judgment and also there's a promise of a restoration in the

future. The second message is found in

Micah chapter 3 on down to chapter 5 and verse 15.

Micah 3 · chapter mention

Where we find the second match is of God's condemnation of

Israel and also with the glimpse of Future, Hope for them and

then the third message, which we're not going to talk about

this morning. But there's a third message

found in chapter 6 and 7 where we find God's indictment of

Israel with the plea for repentance and promise of

forgiveness to them. And so we see this theme

punishment. But a future blessing

punishment, but a future blessing and three times that is

outlined throughout this book. And so now, having an

understanding of the background of this man and also the

situation in Israel is according to the message of this book.

Let us now look at the book itself to see God's message that

he had for Judah and also Israel.

We find in the first message, the first two chapters here that

as a book, first opens we find the Micah has a message from God

and it is addressed to Samaria for one thing and he uses

Sumerian to accomplice to Encompass all of Israel.

But not it's not only addressed to Samaria, but it's also

addressed to to Jerusalem as well.

And again, when he mentions Jerusalem, he's a Jerusalem to

Encompass all of Judah. So we've The nation of Israel.

And we've got the nation of Judah who he is addressing.

And then he tells them to listen up because this message is from

the Lord, it is not what he has designed.

This is not his opinions about what he thinks about these two

Nations. But this message is from the

almighty God. And so he said you guys listen

up, he tells them that the Lord is bringing judgment and he will

come down and tread on the high places of the Earth, in order to

execute his punishment upon these.

Nations and Micah specifically. Mentions that Samaria would be

destroyed which represents the Northern Kingdom of Israel at

this time. But listen to what happens.

Next beginning in verse number 8, this is something that is

very interesting to me because of what Micah does here.

Mike and begins to mourn for Judah and Israel because of the

coming judgment. And in his morning he does

something quite interesting. He makes a play on words Which

is not really a recognizable from the English translation but

as more recognizable reading from the Hebrew and he makes a

wordplay concerning God's judgment and also the cities

that are scattered throughout that area for example and in

fact he does is he 11 times and rock him talk about all 11 times

or just going to talk about three just by way of passing day

to get you the idea of what he does here.

He says verse number 10. He says tell it not in gath.

The you may be thinking, where is the word play there?

Tell a not a gaffe. What is what does that mean?

Well, the in Hebrew gath means tell town.

It means tell town. And so when you put the meaning

of that town together with the phrase it says this, he says

tell it not until town. That's interesting, isn't it?

For another example in verse 10 as well.

He says, we've not at all and Beth at Afra.

Roll yourself in the dust. Now, this town that a from means

House of dust and when you apply that meaning to the phrase, he

says here, the phrase, it means this role.

The house of dust in the dust. And then the third example found

in verse 11 it says the inhabitant of Zion does not go

out. Now Zane in here means come out

and so he says here, the inhabitant of come out does not

go out and so you can see the play on words that Micah gives

here, just these are those distally three like I said but

he does his eight more times in order to get the picture to

these people in order to bring their attention.

To this specific area in order to get them to understand that

there is punishment coming to these people but they didn't

verse number 16. He states that Samaria is going

to going into captivity and this is going to be part of their

punishments, their captivity, but there is a reason why God is

going to do this. Now, in fact, there are two,

there are two reasons rather in Fact, there are he Michael list

off beginning at chapter 2 of why Israel and Judah are being

judged? And these are the two reasons.

Number one found in Verses 1 through 5 of chapter 2, the

arrogance, and the violence of the nobles were just too great.

In fact, they had coveted fields and had taken them for violence,

is what they had done. And because their practice

That's going to come back and haunt them.

It's going to happen to them now and secondly found in verses 6

through 11 here of chapter 2. They had rejected true prophets

and they hadn't turned accepted false prophets.

In fact, we find a more detail that they told the prophets of

God not to speak the words of God anymore.

They didn't want to hear it. But rather they abuse the people

of God and because of that Micah says destruction is coming

because they are defiled and had not accepted the words of the

Lord through the two prophets. But after though my could tells

them these words of judge me, he tells him that there is going to

be restoration the future though this may be happening now but

God's faithful to his word. And there's going to be future

restoration. He says that it would involve

assembling a Remnant from Israel and verse number 12, and also

number two, God would lead them like a flock of sheep.

And as it with the, with the king at their head found in

Verses 12 and 13. And so this is the future

promise to these people. Even though the situation was

pretty bad at that time. So this is the end of this first

message that Micah had for Israel.

But chapter 2, but chapter 3 rather Begins the second message

which Begins by saying here now oh heads of Jacob.

This second message is geared toward the Civil leaders of

Israel. In fact, well, I want you to

listen of how Micah describes these leaders.

I'm going to read verses 1 through 3 of chapter 3 here.

His says, they're listened to to a specific.

He is and I said here, now, heads of Jacob and you rulers of

the House of Israel is it not for you to know Justice. after

all these men should have known Justice, that that was their

Duty and he says, is it not for you to know Justice and then

listen to what he says in verse number two, You who hate good

and love evil. Who strip the skin from my

people and the flex from their bones, who also eat the Flesh of

My People Play, their skin from them, break their bones and chop

them into pieces, like meat for the pot, like flesh in The

Cauldron. Now, that's pretty descriptive

about what these men do to their people.

Now, of course he's not speaking in a literal sense here.

He's speaking in a figurative sense as to how they even treat

the people. That's how evil these rulers

were. They were so evil that they had,

they had turned into people of Injustice on to their other

people people who are brought before them became victims

rather than having just and righteous judgment, that's how

serious and how sick this situation got here in Israel.

And so verse for because of that, it proclaims that the Lord

will not be with nor hear these rulers who act was such Such

evil design. Now the Civil leaders were not,

the only ones who had corrupted things.

At that time, we also find that the spiritual leaders had done

evil things as well. In fact, we find this in the

very next verse of chapter 5 of or verse number 5 of chapter 3.

And it says there, thus says, the Lord concerning the

prophets. Now we've already talked about

the Civil leaders but what about the prophets?

He says, who make my people stray who chant peace while they

chew with their teeth but hoop, Prepare war against him who puts

nothing into their mouths. Now, these false prophets here.

As Micah is speaking, I had corrupted themselves and also

had led the people array Away by doing by their evil ways.

They had influence these people away from God.

They were more interested in gaining wealth from the people

than gaining. God's favor is what their whole

problem was. You see at the end of verse

number 5 here, as they suggest, pay them enough, and they'll

speak peace to you. But refused to make them happy

and they'll prepare a war against you.

It was a lose-lose situation for them.

And so because of their evil practices, they were to have no

more visions and they shall all be ashamed.

And after all that had been said about the false prophets, I want

to listen to contrast that Michael makes concerning his own

self and those people of those false prophets.

He says in verse number 8, but truly, I am full and full of

Power by the spirit of the Lord and of Justice in mind to

declared to Jacob, listen here to declare to Jacob, his

transgression And Israel, his sin.

I think those are two key words. But how tough it was to be a

prophet. You see, it Micah didn't

prophesy for wealth or fame. Like the false prophets here

were doing in Israel or rather. He didn't go around telling

people that what they wanted to hear.

So that things will be fine. Just like those profits were

saying that would have them paid enough, Micah was declaring the

transgression and he was declaring the sin of Israel and

Judah and he told them what they had to know in order for them to

repent and return back to the Lord and this was not an easy

occupation. You may think That a prophet of

the lord. Well, he had a pretty good, he

was on the Lord's Side. Well, he may have been on the

Lord's Side, but that didn't mean the people like to hear

what he had to say. It was a tough job.

It wasn't easy or even desirable for any true Prophet back.

Then to go around telling people and rulers that judgment was

coming upon them because they chose not to abide by the word

of the Lord. In fact, this is one of the main

reasons why Jonah was trying to turn down his, his job, as a

Prophet, by going up to Nineveh, he What that task to tell those

people that they were in sin? Never mind the fact that he

didn't think that should be saved in the first place because

they weren't people of God. Anyway, but this was one main

reason, why Jonah, back down and try to run away from God one

retrospect today, it is not an easy thing to declare, God's

word to people because it takes work.

And sometimes people are not going to like what you're

telling them based upon some sin in their life or what they need

to change. Now, sir, there are false

teachers today throughout this world who preach for fame and

money and all they do is just try to make people feel good by

giving them an empty. Assurance of Heaven.

And that just isn't right. Those people followed to the

same condemnation as these leaders who Mica is addressing

here. And they have sinned in leading

people astray by way of their false Doctrine At the serious

condemnation because that punishment is coming upon these

people of Israel and punishment will be coming up on the people

who lead, people astray from God's word.

But let us remember though, the lack of a prophet was, was not

easy and unpleasant at times, but it is true with us who teach

the word, teach others, the word of life.

It may, it may not be easier Pleasant at times, but it let me

tell you something, it is sure worth the effort to try to lead

people to the Lord. So that They can be saved so

that they can have a new life and so they could have that

chance of Heaven. It's worth it.

It really is. Well, after declaring these

things and making this contrast to his own life, as a true

prophet, he goes on a list of sins of the leaders of Israel

here. They in fact, there are three

things that they did. Number one, they aboard Justice

and they perverted Equity or they perverted fairness.

Number two, they built up Jerusalem with Bloodshed and

iniquity and thirdly. As Micah says here, whether

judges priest or prop, Poets. They did it only for the money

while making their claim to trust in the Lord.

They did it all for the wrong purpose and so, because of their

sins desert was to come upon Israel and Micah states that

Zion shall be plowed like a field and Jerusalem would become

heaps of Ruin because of these things.

But as Mike of, though has ended his words about the Judgment in

the second message because once again, each message is judgment

and a future blessing. And so it is the case with this

message as well. He is ended his words about

judgment and because Because of their wicked civil and spiritual

leaders, but now he tells them of a future promise, which will

happen many years from the time that he wrote this book.

And that brings us now to chapter 4, which he read in our

textured this morning already. But I want to read specifically

the first five verses and I want you to keep in mind these words

and remember just bits and pieces of it, if you can because

it holds huge significance. It helps shoots huge

significance to those people. But also even to us, to his says

beginning in verse 1 of chapter 4.

Now, what's up come to pass in the latter days that the

mountain of the Lord's house, shall be established on the top

of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills and

people shall flow to it. Many nations shall come, and

say, come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord to the

house of the Out of Jacob, he will teach us his ways and we

shall walk in his paths for out of Zion, the law shall go forth

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Keep that in mind, he said judge between many peoples and rebuke,

strong Nations afar off. They shall beat their swords

into plowshares and their pruning Spears into pruning.

Hooks Nation shall not lift up sword against Nation, neither

shall they learn War anymore, but everyone shall sit.

Under his Vine and under his fig tree and no one shall make them

afraid. For the mouth of the Lord of

hosts has spoken for all people walk each in the, in the name of

his God. But we will walk in the name of

our Lord, Our God forever and ever.

Now, remember these words, And I want you to turn, I want to

deter with me over to Isaiah now.

In fact there is a parallel passage in Isaiah chapter 2 and

Isaiah 2 · chapter mention

people are most familiar with that with the passage in Isaiah

as opposed to the passage here in Micah and Isaiah chapter 2.

Isaiah 2 · chapter mention

Beginning of verse 2. Isaiah writes, this.

Now, remember Isaiah had prophesied to the same people

not long before Micah did. And he says that, he says, this

in Isaiah 2, verse 2. Now, it shall come to pass in

Isaiah 2:2

the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's house,

shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be

exalted above the hills and All Nations shall flow to it.

Many people shall come and say, come and let us go up to the

mountain of the Lord to the house of the god of Jacob.

He will teach us his ways and and we shall walk in his paths.

Route of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord

from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the

nation's and rebuke many people. They shall beat their swords

into plowshares and their Spears into pruning.

Hooks and Nation shall not lift up sword against Nation.

Neither shall they learn War anymore?

Now, I realized that the words here are very similar and I want

you to understand that and that's quite interesting to me

with these two parallel passages here.

Notice these words are the same Very similar in sentence and

also content as well. Now because of that, there are

some people that think the Micah and Israel were closed and

Isaiah here. We're close friends.

And Micah had possibly pinned. What?

Isaiah had wrote concerning this future promise, that's what some

people think. But others believe, as I sort of

tend to think that it didn't happen this way, but yet we must

realize that they Feed this message from the same source.

The Lord God. And how did they receive it?

They received it by way of the Holy Spirit.

So, whether whether it was the Micah, got this Prophecy from

Isaiah, let it be known. That is from the same Source,

the Lord God Almighty it is from the Lord God.

But understanding this, looking at this feature, promise to

Israel, Micah said some key things here, Number one, it

would happen in the latter days. Number two, the word of the Lord

will go forth from Jerusalem. And also number three, many

nations shall come to it. Now, if this three key things to

keep in mind about this great prophecy, and this prophecy is

concerning the kingdom of God. The coming kingdom of God. now,

there are two main views to this prophecy given by both Mike and

Isaiah There are some that believe which are not us, but

there are those that of out there that believe that this

prophecy has not yet been fulfilled, that Micah and Isaiah

wrote those who take this view fit into the category called the

preeminent premillennialists. In fact, they are still seeking

a time when the Rapture will come and after a while, Jesus

would come back to this world to establish his kingdom and Reign

for a thousand years at that time.

And they take this view by Miss rep misinterpreting The Book of

Revelations and that's how they view the kingdom.

It is not yet been established according to their view.

But then on the other hand, there are those of us who

believe that this Prophecy of the Kingdom has already been

fulfilled. And we know this, because the

proof of the Fulfillment is as follows.

Remember number one, that Micah describe at the house of the

Lord will be established in the latter days.

Now with that in mind, consider 1st Timothy 3 verse 15.

It says there, but if I'm delayed, I right.

So that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the

house of God, which is the Church of the Living.

God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Now, there are something that is key here that we must

understand. We find here that the Lord's

House is said to be the Church of the Living God.

So applying that to what Michael room, we find that the church

would be established here in the latter days.

But notice something else about this prophecy though.

It said that the Lord's house or church would go forth from

Jerusalem. What did that happen?

Consider with me to passages. Number one, Mark, 9 and 10.

Mark 901 says that this Kingdom would come with power instead.

And he said to them, assuredly, I say to you, that there are

some standing here who will not taste death to, they see the

kingdom of God present with power.

So it's going to come with power for one thing.

But keeping that in mind, remember, we're still thinking

about Jerusalem. Will it actually go forth from

Jerusalem? Well, we know it's going to come

with power. But consider with me.

Luke 24 verse 46. Then he said to them Jesus

Luke 24:46

speaking here, thus it is written and thus, what it was

necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the

dead, the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins

should be preached in his name, to All Nations.

Beginning at Jerusalem, And your witness of these things behold I

send the promise of my father upon you but Terry in the city

of Jerusalem until you are what until what happens he says until

you are endued with power from on high.

So this power is going to come to the apostles in Jerusalem at

some time. Jesus said it would happen.

Well, keeping that scripture in mind, these are still future

promises. Now it hasn't yet come to pass.

Well, we now turn over to Acts chapter one.

Now, Acts 1:8 says this. But you shall receive power when

Acts 1:8

the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses

to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end

of the Earth. So we find here it is still in

future promise. We find that the power is going

to come from the Holy Spirit now and the upon these Apostles as

they are gathered there in Jerusalem.

So little by little, we're getting a little bit more

information about When this kingdom is going to be

established and how it's going to be established.

Now, consider with me, Acts chapter 2 now, Listen to what

Acts 2 · chapter mention

happens while the apostles are gathered here in Jerusalem, they

are at the right place. What happens beginning in verse

number one of chapter 2. Well, the day of Pentecost had

fully come. They were all with one Accord in

one place. And suddenly there came a sound

from Heaven as of a rushing, Mighty Wind and it filled the

whole house where they were sitting, then there appeared to

them divided, tongues as of fire, and one sat upon each of

them. They were all filled with the

Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the

spirit, gave them utterance and there were dwelling in

Jerusalem, Jews, devout men from every nation from every nation

under heaven. Now, these are important words

because we find here that the apostles here are gathered in

Jerusalem and it is then that they receive this power from the

Holy Spirit, as divided tongues set up on each one of them sat

upon each one of them. Now, that would have been quite

a A sight to see as a side note at just imagine just seeing that

all happened in that in that place.

But this was happening now, Now, as this happened, I want you

notice little more detail about the time that this happened Acts

Acts 2 · chapter mention

chapter 2. Verse 15 says this for, these

are not drunk as Peter's applied to these people as you suppose,

since it is only the third hour of the day.

Now, we know here that it is revealed that it is 9:00 in the

morning and looking back to what we saw in verse number one here

in chapter 28. Was the day of Pentecost, which

meant that these things were happening on Sunday, Sunday

morning at 9:00. now keeping that in mind and the events that

had already happened noticed this, In verse 47 here, listen

to what happens. Praising God, and having favor

with all the people and the Lord added to the church.

Daily, those who were being saved.

Lord added to the church. The church was established.

It is not something that was featured to this particular

point in time here, in Acts chapter 2, it happened right

thing. It is not something that we are

still looking forward to, it happened, right?

Then you see those who heard the message by Peter obeyed it and

people were added to the kingdom or to the church.

So we find that the Lord's house or church or kingdom was

established just as was prophesied about by Micah and

also Isaiah and it came with power and it happened in

Jerusalem and it all happened on Sunday morning at 9:00 in the

morning. In the year about 33 ad or 30,

depending on what calendar you look at.

But we can pinpoint it to the very hour of when the church was

established. And that is infallible proof.

When they're speaking to people who are still seeking a kingdom

to come, that Christ is going to come after a Rapture that he's

going to Reign for a thousand years and establish his kingdom

there. Then how did they then?

Look at what happened in to Acts chapter 2.

You can't deny the prophecy that was fulfilled in Acts chapter 2.

It is infallible proof, the church was established And so it

is remember that Micah said that it would go forth from Jerusalem

and well, this happened during Peter sirmon to all those

Nations that were gathered there on that day.

These people heard the word of the Lord, and the church World

establish, and it went forth everywhere.

It did not go forward, just only limiting to the Jews that went

forth even to the Gentiles as well.

And it has gone for two, even us today who have accepted that

gospel. And in fact, we know that went

to the Gentiles because of what we see over in Acts chapter 10,

when the, when the gospel, Preach to Cornelius and his

household. And it was there proof that we

find that Gentiles could be saved because the convert the

conversion of Cornelius. And so let us let God be

praised. The his word came true.

His kingdom is here. His kingdom is alive and we are

members of that Kingdom. This very day, what Micah and

Isaiah wrote, did come to pass showing us that there were truly

God's prophets and and they spoke the words of the Lord,

they were not there, just don't their ideas.

They were God's words. and as they're speaking to this nation

or actually Judah in particular, but also Israel Maybe they

didn't understand these future promises.

But they knew about the punishments that were coming.

But he reassured. Things will be better God's

going to stablish a kingdom and he did.

So, as we wrap these things up this morning, as we have ended

the second message of this book. Let us remember the words of

Micah. For his words, may be addressed

not only to Israel, Judah, but can apply to us to remember, if

we stray from God, by doing Injustice to others, like the

Civil leaders did, or if we deceive ourselves.

There's like the spiritual leaders did the listen.

They're not the only ones who are going to be punished will be

punished as well by doing the same as those people did back.

Then number two, we must be remember that being a profit for

the Lord was no, easy task. And the same is true today.

It takes discipline. It takes Zeal and it takes

knowledge in order to be a proclaimer of God's word.

And then thirdly, let us remember that.

The church was prophesied hundred years before it ever

came to pass. But let it be Be known that it

was fulfilled and we do not seek an Earthly Kingdom for Jesus to

establish as after he has come again.

But it is already here. Praise be to him for that.

We don't have an empty hope. We've seen it fulfilled.

And so these are the things which I have gathered from Micah

and and as as has been the case the Ramos and through hosea's I

have presented here, there's such a wealth of information

from these Minor Prophets even though they addressed those

people back then what great applications they have for us

today. And we would do well to dig a

little deeper into their words. And so we may know a little bit

more about how maybe we could change our lives or how

prophecies have come true and how God is faithful to his word.
