  1. Griffin for miles to be here. And I want to personally express

  2. my appreciation to, you know, Prince of yesteryears.

  3. And you made friends. Anyway, we're glad you're all

  4. here. The congregation of course.

  5. Shares my feelings about that. So we're just glad you're here.

  6. We have in our midst, a night to gospel preachers, brother, Alan,

  7. Bonifay, and brother, Raymond, Fox and others, perhaps, whom

  8. I'm not noting at this moment, but we're glad you're here.

  9. Anyway, I want to read for you this evening from the sixth

  10. chapter of the Book of Luke. And I'll begin reading with

  11. verse 13. And what?

  12. Let me begin with verse 12 and it came to pass.

  13. In those days that he went out into a mountain to pray and

  14. continued all night in prayer to God.

  15. And when he was day, he called unto him his disciples and have

  16. them. He chose twelve.

  17. Whom he also named a passel, Simon, whom he also named Peter

  18. and Andrew, his brother, James, and John, Philip and

  19. Bartholomew, Matthew, and Thomas James, the son of alphaeus and

  20. Simon called zealots and Judas. The brother of James and Judas

  21. Iscariot, which also was the traitor, And he came down with

  22. him and stood in the plane and the company of his disciples and

  23. a great multitude of people out of all Judea and Jerusalem and

  24. from the Seacoast of Tyree and sidon, which came to hear him

  25. and to be healed of their diseases that would be enough of

  26. our reading for this evening. And at this time, we wish to go

  27. to God in a word of prayer. Let us pray.

  28. The world had drifted so far away from God.

  29. The world was lost. And in order for the world to be

  30. saved the world, must get in communication with God.

  31. The Father Again. God was dealing with his people.

  32. God was moving. His people along toward the hope

  33. of Salvation, which would be Jesus Christ, his son, the

  34. prophets had prophesied down Through the Ages.

  35. That this one would come in whom all of our attention and

  36. salvation must be focused. Finally, John the Baptist Came

  37. Upon the scene and began to preach but finally this one was

  38. born. I keep passage is Galatians 4

  39. and 4 where the Apostle Paul sums.

  40. It all up in one verse and says, but when the fullness of the

  41. time was come God sent forth. His son made of a woman made

  42. under the law to redeem them that were under the law that as

  43. I say sums it all up, Jesus came.

  44. Jesus was born into this world. That was the focal point of the

  45. ages. You might say.

  46. We all know that. Jesus Christ was finally settled

  47. in the little village of Nazareth up in the land of

  48. Galilee. And there, he was abiding with

  49. his mother with his father. And finally, with his brothers

  50. and sisters. Well, he waited there, he waited

  51. God's time, he waited the signal from his father in Heaven, but

  52. he was in preparation all this time.

  53. So far as I know, the father of Jesus Christ, the Foster father,

  54. if you might say that had passed away because no scholar mention

  55. scene from be known, and all think that he probably had

  56. deceased Jesus was flying the honest rate of a carpenter.

  57. He knew what it was to have an aching back in me what it was to

  58. have a catalyst and He what he wants to labor and I resent the

  59. artists of the day who try to picture him as some sissified

  60. individual who didn't know anything about the outdoors in

  61. our hard labor are real. Manhood, he was everything but

  62. that he bent over a carpenter's table and he worked.

  63. And he pried this trade, stepping Immortal honor upon

  64. labor. Probably that's the reason why

  65. the 11th chapter of the Book of Matthew in the Invitation, he

  66. issued his call to these people. First come unto me all ye that

  67. labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

  68. Down south something was taking place.

  69. Now, almost 100 miles away, roughly a man chosen.

  70. By God, in a special, providential way was standing on

  71. the banks of the Jordan River preaching.

  72. The baptism of repentance. I really don't know how this all

  73. came about, I wish I did. But I just think that finally

  74. this man signaled by God in heaven stepped out there.

  75. By the wayside had a forward on the Jordan River and began to

  76. preach somehow to stop by one day and hurting they went on and

  77. told somebody else and they came they told somebody else and they

  78. came and on and on it went Caravans coming from the south

  79. of the country and going through the city of Nazareth up, yonder.

  80. No doubt. Told of this incident, our baby

  81. was a communication directly Out of Heaven.

  82. I don't know, but any rate it was time to go.

  83. Jesus kissed his mother goodbye. Push the tools back on the

  84. Carpenters Beach and walk that long distance to the River.

  85. Jordan As he walked up that day, I thrown stood out the for that

  86. great preacher. And listened and Little Wonder,

  87. but that's one of the greatest preachers That Ever Walked upon

  88. the top side of God's green earth.

  89. Jesus said, one time of all the men born of a woman does never

  90. win one greater than John the Baptist, and I certainly agree

  91. with him on that. the people hung upon his words while he

  92. spoke to them of their sins and told them of the impending

  93. damnation, that awaited them, unless they repented and they

  94. came back for more And the heated it you know it doesn't

  95. bother people for you to tell them about their wrongs.

  96. I don't know where these preachers have gotten the idea

  97. that you're supposed to stand up in the pulpit and pussyfoot

  98. around and just talk about little platitudes and sweet.

  99. Little devotion things people will to be told of their wounds,

  100. that's the reason why preachers are preaching.

  101. If you want to get our show go somewhere else.

  102. Jesus was preaching and they liked it.

  103. I rather John the Baptist was preaching.

  104. He walks up in that crowd one day and John who had absolutely

  105. faced the Roman legionaries John who had confronted.

  106. Everybody was absolutely amazed and astounded when you looked

  107. out there and saw that one he knew he People had come out to

  108. hear John preached. I'm always amazed at the crowds.

  109. I wish I had time to talk about the crowds.

  110. That would be another sermon but just briefly.

  111. Let me know mention that some came out to soldiers came

  112. marching out for one thing and they stood on the riverbank He

  113. had attracted people now, it said you great preacher said,

  114. brought the people from the country to the city, Talmadge

  115. Moody Spurgeon Graham others. But this one vote, the city's

  116. broke the about the city's to the country and they stood in

  117. listen, daddy preach while he crashed over their head with one

  118. Thunderbolt of condemnation right after another, the soldier

  119. said, what shall we do? He said be content with your

  120. wages and do violence to no, man.

  121. That would pretty well. Take care of soldiers.

  122. Soldiering wouldn't it? I'd think so.

  123. The only people I know of that he really refused to baptize.

  124. Well those pies mouth people who thought they were too good

  125. already. They came out thinking they had

  126. Abraham to their father and they didn't need anything.

  127. Well, he knew better. He said don't say in your heart

  128. that we've got Abraham to our father.

  129. Don't say you've never been in bondage to anybody of God wanted

  130. seed, Abraham. He could just raise them up from

  131. these Stones along the Riverbanks here.

  132. If that's what you're talking about and thinking about go back

  133. and do Works meet for repentance.

  134. During all of this time. Jesus came and as I said, walked

  135. up in the midst, John just I think his voice fell quite said

  136. there stains one in your midst today, whom you know, not who

  137. she lacks its. I'm not worthy to stoop down and

  138. unloose the crowds ships and a little bit.

  139. This one walks up in the presence of John standing.

  140. There open yet, proud youth from the Hill Country of Galilee.

  141. And John is overwhelmed. He who could face everybody

  142. else. He felt so little and unworthy.

  143. In the sight of this, what he said, I'd need to be baptized of

  144. thee, and comest, thou to me, and Jesus said, suffer it to be.

  145. So now to fulfill all righteousness, calmly stating

  146. it. I don't have any sins.

  147. I know that this is an exception to the rule, but make an

  148. exception this time, because I'm setting an example, for all men,

  149. for all ages to come. And the Bible says he suffered

  150. him. He took our savior down into the

  151. Waters of that River and low. He is sinless body beneath the

  152. waves and lifted him up again. He stood there with the water

  153. streaming was baptism. Like you've seen countless

  154. people do in your lifetime in the church, and while he stood

  155. there, so humble a voice from Heaven, spoke and said this is

  156. my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased.

  157. And at that moment, God dispatched, the Holy Spirit out

  158. of the heavens in the form of a dove and it lighted upon

  159. somebody said, it thunder. Somebody standing by said an

  160. angel spoke to him. Well, he went into the

  161. wilderness. Earnest.

  162. The Bible says he was driven into the Wilderness and there he

  163. wondered all these days among the sand dunes and the Bible

  164. says in the wild beasts every Temptation that you will ever

  165. bear was thrust that sinless breast of the Son of God there

  166. and he repelled them everyone he went there though as a man just

  167. like you and I go as a man, he didn't go there with any helps

  168. beyond what you have and Beyond what I have because how could he

  169. He be our leader. If he went, there was some extra

  170. protection and resisted the Holy Spirit, The Temptations with

  171. extra protection from God. And then looks at me and says,

  172. follow me. Well, I don't have that extra

  173. protection so I couldn't follow him.

  174. So he went there like a man, just like you and he resisted it

  175. all and showed man, that the devil could be resisted He

  176. walked away from there and he walked up the banks of the

  177. Jordan River. He saw John baptizing again and

  178. John saw him and he said, Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away

  179. the sins of the world two disciples who had been following

  180. John left that day and started following Jesus.

  181. They said Master where dwellest thou, he said come and see

  182. foxes. Have holes thousand, the are

  183. have not have nests, but the son of man hath, not where to lay

  184. his head he said, come and see and they went for Jesus.

  185. Well that day and spent the day. Have you ever contemplated the

  186. idea of Going Home With Jesus and spending a day?

  187. Their lives were changed. Well, he selected these two men.

  188. He went on in a little while, selected some more laughter, I

  189. knew others. And then, gov course, he started

  190. out on his public Ministry that we call it and people begin to

  191. throwing after him and many people began to believe on him

  192. and crowds begin to follow him by the hundreds around, over the

  193. country, the crowd soon became so unwieldy until he just

  194. couldn't handle the crowds really How do you had to do

  195. something else? Because he was really coming for

  196. a particular singular purpose. And we want to notice this

  197. because tonight, we're going to mention to you.

  198. The fact that God has a definite plan in your salvation.

  199. Now that's something the world knows nothing about tonight

  200. because it's a harem scare'm way with him and salvation, they

  201. believe men. Just stop down younger anywhere

  202. and get out and new you and talk to God.

  203. And that's it right there. God will save them.

  204. Another one can go do something else.

  205. That's not the idea. Ladies and gentlemen, God worked

  206. out a specific plan by which mankind could be saved.

  207. And I'm going to show you the best.

  208. I can how it was initiated right here after so long of.

  209. A time, after these crowds, great throngs, begin to follow

  210. him from place to place, Jesus decided that the time had come

  211. for him to show forth his kingship to certain extent.

  212. And he was called King. The prophets, referred to him as

  213. the Messiah, the coming King. I know, he came, so unlike a

  214. king, unearthly king. He was not born in a palace.

  215. He wasn't wrapped in fine clothes.

  216. He didn't ride in a chariot. He didn't have servants

  217. attending him that we freely admit, but he had come to be a

  218. king. Isaiah had said, my ways are not

  219. your ways. Saith the Lord, neither my

  220. thoughts, your thoughts Versa Heavens are higher than the

  221. earth. So are my ways in your ways, and

  222. my thoughts than your thoughts that we certainly admit.

  223. But during his lifetime, he made manifest the fact that he was a

  224. king. I know, in John 18 and 37, when

  225. you stood before Pilate father said our talent, our King, Jesus

  226. said, thou say is that, I am a king to this end was I born and

  227. for this cause came I into the world.

  228. So Jesus Christ, of course, was the king and he came to lead,

  229. people heavenward, but one time up younger and Galilee

  230. somewhere, he went out to the mountain to pray.

  231. The Bible says and he prayed all night Jesus like the mountains,

  232. you know we talked about mountains overnight.

  233. This is one of the points that we should have mentioned.

  234. He prayed all night as dr. Farris says out there with his

  235. hair, wet from the heavens. Do you of Heaven amidst The

  236. Barking of the jackals in the distance, so we honor the

  237. hooting of the night owls. And in cradled, in the arms of

  238. nature, he was all alone and he left to be alone because he

  239. could talk to his father undisturbed and unmolested.

  240. And he did that so often he who could stop the winds, he who

  241. could raise the dead, he felt the need of talking to his

  242. father and he did all night. He prayed?

  243. The next morning though. One day was come the disciples

  244. come to him of great. Throng of disciples, come up to

  245. that mountain. And he sat down upon a Little

  246. Rock under somewhere on that Mountainside and begin to do

  247. something very, very special out of that crowd.

  248. He began to select his cabinet, the me and who would serve him

  249. the man who would be in his immediate presence and attend

  250. unto the things of the Kingdom. Mm, out of that, vast crowd of

  251. milk at the multitude, he selected those.

  252. The Bible says, and it came to pass in those days that he went

  253. out into a mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to

  254. God. And when it was day he called

  255. unto him his disciples and have them.

  256. He chose twelve. Whom he also named Apostles.

  257. I say again, this was his cabinet.

  258. You know what man has to have a cabinet.

  259. I president selects his cabinet sometimes these long time.

  260. In selecting it, what Jesus did it all in one moment there, he

  261. did it all at one time. This is also, these people are

  262. also called ambassador's in second Corinthians, the fifth

  263. chapter, the Apostle Paul, who was a late late, born Apostle,

  264. he says neither. Then he says, now then we are

  265. ambassadors for Christ as though God.

  266. Beseech You by us. We pray you in Christ's stead on

  267. behalf of Christ be reconciled to God.

  268. Ladies and gentlemen that's one of those passages that applies

  269. to the people of that day. You and I are not ambassadors

  270. for Christ. They were ambassadors for Christ

  271. because they were filled with the Holy Spirit and absolutely

  272. had V message. The only message that could do

  273. man any good and they were the prime ambassadors.

  274. Now if you want to call Call yourself an ambassador in a

  275. second or third, since, by representing the Lord, and his

  276. kingdom in this world. I don't think you do any

  277. violence to the thought. But these are the principal and

  278. ambassadors for the kingdom. The Apostles of Jesus Christ.

  279. And have you read them to you again?

  280. Because this is the most unique group of men that ever lived up

  281. on the top side of God's green earth and the people who claim

  282. they can get salvation directly from God tonight, our

  283. circumventing, these men and God doesn't like that.

  284. Jesus Christ, chose this man to be your ambassadors and you you

  285. get salvation, must get it through their words and through

  286. their administration's because that's the way Jesus planned it.

  287. And that's the way God ordered it.

  288. Well, he chose Peter, James, John, Andrew Philip Bartholomew.

  289. Matthew, Thomas, James the son of alphaeus thaddaeus.

  290. Simon the Canaanite and Judas. Iscariot of course, who by

  291. transgression failed in West. I planted by another one, of

  292. course. Now we have his cabinet here.

  293. We have these men, his special men, the Kings, man.

  294. If you please, you've heard that phrase before doubtless, read

  295. something, or heard something in the literary world that makes

  296. you think of this. But it released, this is the way

  297. it was. Now, then for these men to do

  298. his work, they must be prepared. They can't go out just like you,

  299. and I today was no, Helps and we've got because some of the

  300. things that they're going gone to take are going to be things.

  301. That are very very complicated and serious and meaningful

  302. because this has to do with the salvation of the whole wide

  303. world. You talk about some men who

  304. stood in a in a very very August situation.

  305. These me indeed, I don't think they really realized it

  306. themselves and maybe they didn't realize it until they finally

  307. get over Yonder and go. Lori because the 17th chapter,

  308. The Book of John, the Bible says Jesus prayed father, let these

  309. men, let them whom thou Hast given me be with me where I am

  310. that. They may behold my glory, he was

  311. talking about those men, those men who someday believed in he

  312. who someday doubted me, those men whose face, sometimes as

  313. high as a mountain and the next day was as low as to see.

  314. He said father won't you let me take them to Glory with me and I

  315. want you to let them look upon me.

  316. When I sit upon my throne with my crown upon my head in my

  317. glorified state and they'll know, There's a lot of things we

  318. won't know till Dean, but back to the story, these men are

  319. prepared. Now, the reason these men are

  320. prepared a way these men were prepared was because God gave

  321. them the power of the holy spirit for the purpose of

  322. preaching his word. When he left this world down

  323. here, you see. And also he gave them the power

  324. of the holy spirit so they could speak to people.

  325. With whom they were not even a acquainted with, and in

  326. languages that they couldn't even speak.

  327. That was the purpose of it? Let me read you in the sixteenth

  328. chapter of the Book of John hear these words, Jesus says.

  329. But now I go to my night but now I go my way to him that sent me

  330. and none of you asked me where the goest thou, but because I

  331. have said these things unto you sorrow, has filled your heart.

  332. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth is it is It is expedient

  333. for you. That I go away for R5, go, not

  334. away the comforter, will not come unto you, but if I depart,

  335. I will send him unto you and when he is come, he will reprove

  336. or convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of Judgment

  337. of sin because they believe not on me.

  338. I've righteousness, because I go to the father and you see me no

  339. more, I've judgment because the prince of this world is Judge.

  340. I have yet many things to say unto you but you cannot bear

  341. them now, but there will Your time shortly, when you'll be

  342. able to Bear it because when the father sends the Holy Spirit to

  343. you, you'll be able to Bear it and you'll be able to understand

  344. it and you'll be able to take it on after I'm gone.

  345. So he continues, all he shall glorify me a happy it, but

  346. rather howbeit when he the spirit of Truth is come, he will

  347. guide you into all truth. And shall not speak of himself.

  348. Whatsoever. He shall hear that?

  349. Shall he speak? And he will show you things to

  350. come. He shall glorify me for.

  351. He shall receive of mine and shall Shew it unto you.

  352. Now while I'm dwelling, right here on this passage, I want to

  353. just stop, stick a pin right here and talk about this for a

  354. moment, you are constantly flooded with, Holy Ghost is MM.

  355. There are some people that that's all they can.

  356. Preach is the Holy Ghost. If they open their mouth, it'll

  357. be the Holy Ghost. They'll talk about they'll put

  358. us out. On out you under this is a Holy

  359. Ghost Church and they'll have a TV program and they'll tell you

  360. it's a TV program, it's a whole Goose program and Holy Ghost.

  361. Holy Ghost is all you're going to hear and they'll tell you

  362. that that's the case with me because we've all got the Holy

  363. Ghost and we've been baptized with the Holy Ghost.

  364. Well they're just as wrong as they could be.

  365. Jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes to these men That holy

  366. spirit's going to talk about me. That, Holy Ghost is going to

  367. glorify me. And you're going to hear about

  368. me. Now the men who are really

  369. Guided by the Holy Spirit, whether miraculously are through

  370. the word of God, are the men who are going to go around

  371. preaching, Jesus Christ and him crucified and the truth.

  372. Those people who are always babbling around about the Holy

  373. Ghost are just as far from the truth is they can possibly be

  374. and they're blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

  375. If I don't know anything. He shall glorify me for.

  376. He shall receive of mine and shall Shew it unto you.

  377. So Jesus Christ, gave them that are rather the father did and

  378. sin it. Did you ever run to wonder why

  379. the 14th chapter The Book of John and the first verse Jesus

  380. begins that chapter by saying, let not your hearts be troubled,

  381. you believe in God believe. Also in me and so on the reason

  382. why he addresses them thus is because he knew that their

  383. hearts were burdened and there Hearts were heavy and they felt

  384. rather forsaken over the prospect of living in this world

  385. without Jesus. Because he had mentioned the

  386. fact that I'm leaving you, and I'm going away, they couldn't

  387. quite get the concept or something coming in his stead

  388. guide them yet, so they felt Disturbed.

  389. They felt confused, they were troubled.

  390. And Jesus said, let not your hearts be troubled.

  391. And the reason why was because something's going to be, since

  392. someone's going to be seen, who will guide you and bring back to

  393. your mind, everything I told you so you can relay it and tell it

  394. to the world over there in the seventeenth chapter of the Book

  395. of John, we find where Jesus prayed to the Father, the night

  396. before he died upon calvary's cross.

  397. And he prayed to them and he says to them, I have given them

  398. The Words which thou gavest me. He's talking about the Apostle,

  399. the king's man, you please, I've given them The Words, which thou

  400. gavest me and they have received All right, from now on you'll be

  401. listening at the apostles after I leave this world and so he

  402. endowed them with the Holy Spirit.

  403. Now when the Holy Spirit was given it was given for a

  404. specific purpose, it wasn't given to chase out, alcohol

  405. demons and it wasn't given to mail goiters and do other

  406. things. It was given for the purpose of

  407. conveying, the word of God, so man could be saved.

  408. You see? God.

  409. God, the father has absolute Authority primary Authority.

  410. Now, those who hold primary Authority can delegate that

  411. Authority. And so, he delegated to his son.

  412. Jesus Christ. He has delegated authority.

  413. Now then Jesus Christ, when he got ready to leave this world.

  414. As I told you, he chose these 12 men to carry his work on.

  415. So that's the apostles. They have delegated authority,

  416. but it stops right there. They can't delegate it.

  417. Any father, nobody gets anything from God directly after that,

  418. right there. Now when God gave the whole get

  419. when God gave this message to his son, Jesus Christ.

  420. That was no problem because the sun was just as Divine as the

  421. father and there could be no mistake.

  422. Jesus couldn't make a mistake, he never made a mistake God.

  423. The father of course is truth. He never made a mistake so

  424. there's no problem doctor. But when Jesus Christ gave it to

  425. his Apostles, we've got a problem.

  426. We've got the human element to deal with those men were just

  427. like you and I am tonight they were human.

  428. There was a prospect of making a mistake that was a danger of

  429. them, not getting it all correctly and you know that

  430. would that would have a problem with our Salvation over here.

  431. Now, this word is to be given because this word is the only

  432. thing that's going to save. The father sent his word down

  433. here to the world. Now, Paul calls the gospel in,

  434. Romans 1 and 16. When he said, I'm not ashamed of

  435. the gospel of Christ, show you, that's the case.

  436. He said for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone

  437. that believeth to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

  438. But therein is the righteousness of God revealed from Faith to

  439. Faith. So, in order for the apostles,

  440. to get the word, the message, the gospel, whatever you want to

  441. call it in a correct way. Make no mistake the whole.

  442. Holy Spirit was sent right here and it conveyed from the Jesus

  443. to these men and they got and we have it right here tonight in

  444. this book, called The Bible, and it's perfect.

  445. Now, before these men died, the spirit guided them to write.

  446. So they sat down with their quill in their hands and God

  447. began to write Guided by the Holy Spirit.

  448. And so, we have it tonight in book form, we have it right

  449. here. That you can read and you can

  450. understand and it's just as empowering here tonight as it

  451. was when they spoke it right here.

  452. In fact it's the same thing. Now that many people tonight who

  453. want don't want the Bible but they want some more Holy Ghost.

  454. There are always more of the Holy Ghost what do you want me

  455. for? What do you need it for?

  456. It brought you what God planned for it to bring you this right

  457. here. Now, Peter, when he spoke about

  458. that, he wrote it down in his epistle, he said at courting

  459. his, as the court has, is his divine power hath.

  460. Given unto us us the apostles, the king's man according as his

  461. divine power hath, given unto us.

  462. Listen, all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

  463. Now what was he talking about? About, he was saying that God

  464. had given us all things that pertain unto life and God is

  465. where in the writings of the Holy Spirit.

  466. And we have it here tonight and I Apostle Paul says, of course

  467. all scripture scripture get that down.

  468. It comes from the word script which means to write.

  469. It's not all but it's written it's script.

  470. So you're not going to hear it tonight.

  471. Jesus is not going to talk to you tonight.

  472. Jesus is not going to speak. Peace to your heart tonight.

  473. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.

  474. What the Holy Spirit. That the man of God may be

  475. perfect. That word, perfect means

  476. complete that the man of God may be complete thoroughly furnished

  477. unto all good works. Now, that was going to give us

  478. the perfect thing for admonition or instruction part in

  479. righteousness and so on and so forth.

  480. Something tonight ladies and gentlemen we have it.

  481. All right here and don't need anything else.

  482. That's the way it was brought to us and that's what we have it

  483. tonight. Now that's God's plan for the

  484. ages. You see these men were baptized

  485. with the Holy Ghost and their little two by fours walking

  486. around on the earth. Tonight, claiming our big bang.

  487. Baptized with the Holy Ghost. What's going to God?

  488. Going to baptize you with the Holy Ghost for that's God.

  489. Gonna baptize all Roberts with the Holy Ghost for what's his

  490. business. Anyway, what's the out Parts?

  491. Why these men, the King's Men were for that purpose.

  492. And let me tell you right now, there's no other little fella

  493. running around, going to get that.

  494. These men are unique. And everything.

  495. They said, Jim this book right here, you're not going to get

  496. anything anywhere else or your salvation And I do a lot of

  497. church members. It needs that thought, so there

  498. it is. Now, to show you that, that was

  499. the case after these men receive this after Jesus one away,

  500. though, were the only ones who had the message.

  501. If you tell people what to do to be saved, and God was very

  502. particular about them. You see one time in the city of

  503. Jerusalem? That was a dispersion and all

  504. the people were driven out. Just a few apostles were left.

  505. Just a few of the King's Men were left.

  506. The others were out in various parts of the country, preaching,

  507. Peter was there? O'Hara had reached forth, his

  508. hand had slain James, and he thought it please the people so

  509. much, and he thought he'd try Peter, you know?

  510. So he put Peter in prison for preaching this gospel.

  511. And the church got together over the house of John Mark and we're

  512. praying for him that night not praying for his release.

  513. No, Sir. Praying that he would hold out

  514. faithful. This plan was so wonderful in

  515. that day. This plan was so all-important

  516. until people didn't consider their feelings and his

  517. arrangement for salvation. And here it is.

  518. Peter was there in prison. I don't read where Peter was

  519. spreading too much. It's wonderful.

  520. That these men were so endowed with the spirit until they

  521. realize their purpose in life. The best I can understand from

  522. that narratives. You Peter just cuddled up in a

  523. corner and went to sleep that night in that Jailhouse in that

  524. great, massive place. But God didn't want him in that

  525. jailhouse. Why God want him Outta jail?

  526. That's why just to relieve his physical suffering.

  527. Just so he can go home and throw a party and have a big time.

  528. Go swimming the next day or no, not that he wanted him out of

  529. that jail house because he's the only man left in Jerusalem that

  530. had that message. And that message had to be told.

  531. And nobody else was there that had it?

  532. So let me tell you one thing right now that right out of

  533. Heavens. Glory God sent an angel that

  534. night and that angel came and stood, right beside Peter and

  535. said, get up, Peter Peter, looked industrial an angel.

  536. Peter, stood up in those chains, his fellow father.

  537. He said, follow me. He walked right over there.

  538. That first big gate when he did that, gay.

  539. Just one go. Somebody push the button up in

  540. heaven. He Walked on toward that.

  541. Good big gate out younger and it's wonderful.

  542. A pop, tune it. Swung back to what Peter has to

  543. go. Preach.

  544. He's got the whole Spirit Daddy and he's only man's got the

  545. message could say those people in Jerusalem.

  546. So when he got him on the outside, he said you go down and

  547. stand in the temple and speak unto the people, all the words

  548. of this life. And so he went down and did

  549. that. Matthew think there was some

  550. surprise people, the next morning, when they looked in

  551. that jailhouse and went to get to prisoner, it was empty as a

  552. gourd. And there was nobody in there

  553. and I'd imagine these jailers had quite a job explaining it to

  554. the officials. That they really did put him in

  555. there. The Peter was down there,

  556. speaking, all the words of this life because the words of this

  557. life is the gospel. The gospel is the power of God

  558. and speak salvation, that's the only thing that could save me.

  559. And that's what they had to have, nothing and nothing else.

  560. So tonight, ladies and gentlemen that gospel has been given to

  561. you and it's been given to me and it comes down through the

  562. hands of these men. I have given them The Words

  563. which thou gave us to me. And those words, teach us that I

  564. must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

  565. Repent of my sins confess. My faith in Christ and be

  566. baptized for the remission of my sins.

  567. These words will be here and they'll stand here as long as

  568. the world stands. And that's not all when this

  569. world is on fire and when it's all over and when we stand

  570. before God on the day of judgment these words, the words

  571. of the King's Men will judge you in the last day.

  572. Jesus said he that rejecteth me and receiveth not my word hath

  573. one that judgeth him the words that I speak unto you the same

  574. will judge you in the last day and of course the way we get

  575. those words and read, those words is in This book right

  576. here, these men are very unique people.

  577. Like I said, and I want to talk to you a little bit about them.

  578. Christ had a great love for these men.

  579. As I said sometimes they didn't always understand sometimes

  580. Jesus had to rebuke them because of their unbelief, but Jesus

  581. train them and talk to him and led them.

  582. And one by one, they paid the Supreme price for their work.

  583. All of them died, a martyr's death.

  584. Except the Apostle, John who preached about him last Sunday

  585. and showed you how he alone was left, how he was exiled to the

  586. Isle of Patmos, and he came back to the mainland.

  587. And I'd over to church at Ephesus Arduino, but we read

  588. over there in John, 17, and 24, when Jesus Christ was praying to

  589. his father. After he had lived his life down

  590. here and was about to die and pass on.

  591. And he was I thinking about these men, father, I will that

  592. they also whom thou Hast given me be with me where I am that.

  593. They may behold my glory which thou Hast given me for thou

  594. Hast. Loved me from the foundation of

  595. the world. There it is.

  596. Christ had a great love for these men.

  597. The least we can do is to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  598. The gospel that was written down by these men, and you won't get

  599. anything else in this world. You'll never get another word

  600. from the Lord. Accept the word written by these

  601. men and people had just as well, be satisfied with it.

  602. Now you see when you understand God's plan and God's way, don't

  603. you see? This takes care of those fellows

  604. who claim, they think they saw the Virgin, Mary's picture will

  605. be on her own, a bar, and Gates, and wires, or something.

  606. Are some Revelation that they got from God last night.

  607. Got nothing to give you a new revelation, God's not going to

  608. get anybody in the Revelation because God's already given

  609. Revelations to these men. We live our lives, Faithfully

  610. unto Jesus, all the days of our lives here in this world.

  611. And we die and we've been promised salvation.

  612. And we've been promised a home and that Eternal City, which

  613. have Foundation But I want to say one thing in closing tonight

  614. and that's this. You will never forget these men.

  615. Because when you get home to glowy and when you walk the

  616. street of that, Celestial City, you're going to be reminded of

  617. these men right here because I read over there in Revelation,

  618. 21 and 14 where the record says, and the wall of the city had

  619. twelve foundations and in them the names of The Twelve Apostles

  620. of the Lamb. Are these mean important?

  621. These men are important. Have you obeyed?

  622. The gospel has revealed to you tonight by the work of the

  623. King's Men, that's the only way you'll get it.

  624. And that's the only thing that's right.

  625. Any Creed written by some other group of million.

  626. There's nothing to it. Scriptures Creek.

  627. This is it? We're going to sing the song of

  628. invitation that you've never obeyed.

  629. The gospel that has been conveyed to us through these

  630. words, then we ask you to come forward tonight.
