  1. Good morning. It's good to see you all were

  2. here and we have a lot of young children here this morning as

  3. well. So I'm looking forward to the

  4. competition. So anyway, I really appreciate

  5. their their, full-throated singing, and it's wonderful to

  6. hear children singing in the audience.

  7. It really is. And, and just, as parents are

  8. proud to hear their children sing.

  9. So, is everyone else? And that's great.

  10. It's good to see all those who are here this morning this

  11. morning for the last couple months, I've been thinking about

  12. different lessons that are foundational, things that are

  13. just essential. And that sometimes we need to

  14. resurrect, because they are so foundational.

  15. And this morning, I want to talk a little bit about racism.

  16. Racism is something. It's a word that's not found in

  17. the scriptures. You might be surprised at that,

  18. but it's a It's even a concept that's not really found in many

  19. places in the scriptures but I think we need to talk about it

  20. and have an answer or be able to give an answer for the truth

  21. that lies within us. We need to be able to give

  22. people a response for history in the way sometimes people have

  23. behaved and doctrines that come from men, sometimes it's really

  24. amazing, what all can happen if you will.

  25. If you have your scriptures, I really want to open with two

  26. passages of scripture. This morning one is acts the 17

  27. chapter and acts 17 and verse 26, through 29.

  28. We found, we find here. Paul's sermon to the Athenians

  29. and he is telling these people in Athens about the nature of

  30. God, he said I see all of your Idols.

  31. I see, all of these God's all around off obvious.

  32. This place is very religious and has a Lot of concern about their

  33. worldview and how God fits into this world view.

  34. And as he begins to speak upon that occasion, he talks about

  35. the nature of God. In other words, he talks about

  36. the things that they should or he has in common with his

  37. audience. He says God noticing into verse

  38. 26 of Acts Seventeen. God has made from one man at

  39. that is one person Adam and Eve if you will mankind every nation

  40. of men to dwell on The face of the Earth and has determined

  41. their pre appointed times and boundaries of their dwelling.

  42. And as I began to study that that verse it has some

  43. interesting Concepts within it. It's not saying that God.

  44. It's not saying that God put natural boundaries into place to

  45. keep people in nations in certain areas.

  46. Now that is true, especially if you look at the European

  47. continent, we find the Alps have Divided a lot of different

  48. countries and on one side of the mountains people speak a certain

  49. language and on the other side of the mountains they speak

  50. another kind of language. And the same is true with

  51. continents that people have different languages and

  52. different things that go on. But basically what he's saying

  53. here, the emphasis In this passage According to Hebrew

  54. writers is the fact that God is the one that put the nation's on

  55. the earth? He's not talking necessarily

  56. about the boundaries. He struck him out.

  57. He's talking about how God created them and put them all

  58. over the world. So that they should seek the

  59. Lord verse 27. See he goes on, and he talks

  60. about the nature of humans about us, and he says that they may

  61. seek the Lord in hope that they might grope for him and find him

  62. though. He's not far from any one each

  63. and every one of us for in him we live move and have our very

  64. being you know, great thinkers throughout history especially

  65. those who even wrote our Constitution have Recognize that

  66. we have been endowed by our creator with certain abilities

  67. in certain motives in our lives, life liberty, and the pursuit of

  68. happiness is that which is common amongst us and that is

  69. basically what Paul is saying here.

  70. He says, in him, we live move and have our being, as some of

  71. your own poets. Have said he quotes human poets

  72. and he says, for we are also his offspring.

  73. In other words we are all come from God.

  74. God is the originator of all humans.

  75. It says, therefore since we are The Offspring of God, we ought

  76. not to think the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone

  77. or something shaped by Art and man's devising.

  78. Okay. Now he's talking about idolatry

  79. and he's going to go ahead to talk about the true nature of

  80. God and how that God is not an idol.

  81. God cannot be divided into all of these little sections.

  82. There's a God of the night and of the day in a vegetables and

  83. of Of fruit and different kinds of different gods, for all the

  84. different kinds of things. He says, that's not God.

  85. God is not made God's nature is not like that.

  86. Well, Paul's all-encompassing statement here to the Athenians

  87. is a gigantic world view that we as Christians, all share that

  88. God is the source of all that. We are all from the Divine that

  89. God has created us in His image and such the Book of Genesis

  90. says, Yes. But you know what racism

  91. whatever it comes there. People are obvious that people

  92. are aware that we have different colors and different

  93. conversation. We have different languages.

  94. And so we like to put things into categories, we like to

  95. split them or divide them up, but I want you to know, it

  96. doesn't come from God. God, when Paul talked to the

  97. Athenians, he said, listen, God's a source of everything.

  98. He is the one who made us all and put us all here and he says

  99. that's a something that we have in common are something that we

  100. share in unity. Well now this is a bunch of

  101. labradors People will tell you that each of these different

  102. colors of labradors have different kinds of traits.

  103. But in reality they're all just dingy Labradors so to speak.

  104. We find that there's chocolate and there's vanilla.

  105. And, you know, I don't know how many flavors you want, but the

  106. whole point is, is they're all different kinds of with it.

  107. We all know that those are the same dogs.

  108. We're not going to say, listen very carefully.

  109. We're not going to say some of them have a soul and others,

  110. don't have a soul. Those are chihuahuas.

  111. They don't have a soul. Now, what we're going to say is

  112. we're not going to say that we know that they're different

  113. colors but this doesn't mean they are of a different nature.

  114. They're all dogs. And so something happens

  115. sometimes with racism racism, kind of defaults kind of comes

  116. to it to a dehumanization of certain traits are certain

  117. Trends here on the earth and it becomes racism, what we know of

  118. as racism. Mm dehumanization happens.

  119. Whenever we start treating certain individuals or group of

  120. individuals, as if they were not human.

  121. Now, where did this idea really come from?

  122. Believe it or not? It comes from the atheist.

  123. It comes from Eugenics, it comes from the idea that we're not

  124. sure the species of everybody. We're not sure when someone

  125. transformed from an animal into a human or if some are not there

  126. yet, that's where we get some of this idea is sometimes we treat

  127. people like they're animals and people have always had that

  128. distinction but some people dehumanize other human so to

  129. speak. In the original origin of the

  130. species, bye-bye. Oh, what's his name?

  131. I can't even think of his name, notice he says the original over

  132. the name. The original name of the book is

  133. the original of species by means of natural.

  134. Selection of the preservation and favoured races in the

  135. struggle for Life Darwin. Charles Darwin, I wondered why I

  136. threw out his name. But there's some people who

  137. wonder whether all the different races, some of them have

  138. developed to where they can be civilized, and others are

  139. uncivilized and even within the last 100 years or so.

  140. We find these kinds of discussions going on amongst

  141. people on the Earth, that's a form of racism, but it's not,

  142. it's not unique to us, it goes back.

  143. A long, long ways, it goes back to the hatred of Kind of races

  144. in the in the scriptures we're going to talk about that.

  145. But basically I want to say this is the basic issue.

  146. Whereas right here are all men men, do all men have a soul, all

  147. men and women are do we share this in common or are we going

  148. to make some or treat some like animals?

  149. Well let's use some terminology. Let's talk about term and even

  150. though we don't use the Bible doesn't use the word.

  151. Racism. In the Scriptures, it does talk

  152. about discrimination. It does talk about some of this

  153. kind of thing, this kind of behavior.

  154. In fact, notice in the New Testaments, if you have your New

  155. Testaments in Galatians, Chapter 2, and by the way, start taking

    Galatians 2 chapter mention

  156. notes here, because we're going to talk about a lot of different

  157. passages this morning. In Galatians, the second chapter

  158. We find that because of the religious differences between

  159. Christianity and Judaism, there were some who said there because

  160. there's no difference. We're going to bind circumcision

  161. some parts of the law. We're going to bind it on people

  162. and others were not going to bind it on people.

  163. Now where did this kind of attitude come from?

  164. Well it you go back to to Abraham and you say well the

  165. distinction was circumcision and that's it.

  166. Well that was way after God, first chose Adam, in fact that

  167. book that's it. Noted in the Book of Romans how

  168. they he was justified before he was circumcised.

  169. So this Jewish Gentile kind of nature God, picked Abraham while

  170. he was still the Gentile, so to speak.

  171. And he had that kind of recognition as being a good man.

  172. A man who would serve him with his whole heart, a man of Faith.

  173. A man who did what was right, because he knew that Idols were

  174. wrong. But notice, he says here about

  175. this, false Doctrine verse 4, it's Galatians Chapter 2, but it

    Galatians 2 chapter mention

  176. was because of false Brethren secretly brought in who had

  177. sneaked to spy out our Liberty Pretty where we have in Christ

  178. Jesus. In order to bring us into

  179. bondage. He's saying, listen, there's

  180. some people here that have come in and they've spied it out and

  181. they want to bind the Jewish law on people.

  182. Do to whom the law was not even given.

  183. They want us to bring us under subjection once again to that

  184. law. But verse 5 but we did not yield

  185. to them for even an hour for that the truth of the Gospel

  186. should remain with you but those who are of high reputation what

  187. they Our makes no difference to me, God shows no partiality.

  188. Interesting, The New American Standard deals with the idea of

  189. discrimination. And if you will this

  190. discriminate discrimination between people, right here in

  191. this very passage, he says it doesn't make any difference to

  192. me. God shows no partiality verse 6.

  193. We are those who are reputation. Contributed nothing to me.

  194. But on the contrary seeing that I had been entrusted with the

  195. gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter.

  196. Had been to the circumcised. For He Who effectively worked

  197. for Peter and his apostleship to the circumcised effectually

  198. worked for me to the Gentiles and recognize the grace that had

  199. been given to give gaming, James, and cephas and John who

  200. have reputation to be pillars. Gave to me Barnabas the right

  201. hands of Fellowship, so that we might go to the Gentiles and

  202. they to the circumcised. He basically.

  203. Ali is saying here listen there was a time whenever we had peace

  204. and we had unity and everybody was on the same page.

  205. He said we understood that God had sent these guys over to

  206. evangelize the Jews and some of us had been sent to the Gentiles

  207. and but we were in peace. We were Harmony, we were all at

  208. one. But notice they asked us only to

  209. remember the poor. This we eagerly do, but notice

  210. verse 11, Notice verse 11, but when cephas came to Antioch, I

  211. opposed him to his face because he stood to get condemned.

  212. Why notice for prior to the coming of certain men from

  213. James? He used to eat with the Gentiles

  214. but when they came he began to withdraw himself and hold

  215. himself, aloof fearing. The party of the circumcision

  216. and the rest of the Jews. Joined him in Apocrypha.

  217. See Result being that even Barnabas was carried away by

  218. their Apocrypha. See.

  219. But when I saw that, they were not straightforward about the

  220. truth of the Gospel. I said, to cephas in the

  221. presence of all, if you being a Jew lived like the Gentiles and

  222. not like the Jews, how is it that you compelled the Gentiles

  223. to live like the Jews? Oh, what now that is

  224. discrimination and it's written for us and it happened.

  225. Even in the church, the first century of the church.

  226. Was it approved of God, not at all.

  227. Paul says, I withstood him to his face because he was to be

  228. blamed. He was wrong and he was

  229. corrected upon this occasion because he wasn't behaving

  230. correctly. Now, some people are fine with,

  231. you know. Yeah, I believe every God, you

  232. know, saves everybody unless they come to my church, Unless

  233. they come to my congregation and then I have a problem, I tell

  234. him to go have their own congregation. now, in my life

  235. time, I've heard that There's a certain part of the country that

  236. I'm don't hold meetings in very often because people know who I

  237. am and what I believe. But this we need to withstand to

  238. their face that the truth of what the gospel has to say about

  239. discrimination sometimes and that's happened right there

  240. right there in the gospel right there.

  241. He says God had the answer and you messed it up Peter You

  242. withdrew yourselves, you caused a problem between these

  243. different nations and such is not to be.

  244. Well, I want us to be aware of some things as we continue on.

  245. Not only do we use the idea of discrimination as being wrong

  246. for God, is not a respecter of persons.

  247. As the King James says, God does not discriminate.

  248. God doesn't have that kind of judgment.

  249. God looks upon the heart. When we find that in the

  250. scriptures we're going to Notice that just a little bit about the

  251. David King, David, but anyway, stereotyping happens between us

  252. stereotyping is a name that we're concept that we're

  253. familiar with its where it's it's too simple of a judgment.

  254. And therefore, distorts the image of a group dictator,

  255. com.com says, that's what stereotyping me in.

  256. Other words, you make something so simple that it becomes almost

  257. exaggerated and exaggerated Point stereotyping All Irish

  258. people have red hair. All certain people have big

  259. noses. All other people are short, all

  260. other people are tall, you know, different kinds of the, it's

  261. funny how in Africa, you can have all the tall ones and all

  262. the short ones on the sink. So, but the whole point is, is

  263. we like to diss make distinctions among ourselves

  264. There's the people who you know, can have facial hair and people

  265. who don't have facial hair men and women.

  266. So the whole point of getting at is what are we?

  267. What are we going to do here? Are we going to talk about all

  268. of these things and divide everybody up into different

  269. classes of cuteness, or or ugliness, or height?

  270. Or how are we going to differentiate between all of

  271. these people? We're not.

  272. And that's what we need to talk about here.

  273. How in Christ Christ is a book of Ian says broke down the

  274. middle wall of partition, so making peace.

  275. There's something unique about the world view of Christianity.

  276. God is our father, and we're all his children.

  277. And there's to be no distinctions.

  278. Other than that, it's a lazy way of trumping together all those

  279. who come from a certain class or race.

  280. And so, we begin stero. Piping.

  281. People statements, which attempt bike to characterize the group

  282. of people by saying all such and such are either inferior to us

  283. in certain ways, or, you know, whatever, which leads then to

  284. Prejudice an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or

  285. without knowledge thought. Or reason whenever we have

  286. Prejudice, we prejudge see people to have certain character

  287. rather because of their skin color or height or width or

  288. depth or whatever you want to use to try to say that.

  289. When we start making these distinctions amongst ourselves,

  290. the Bible says, we commit sin Whether it has to do with

  291. economics, rich, and poor weather has to do with genetics,

  292. male, or female. We find it in Christ Jesus.

  293. We're all one. And he's not supposed to we're

  294. not supposed to be using stereotypes to talk about

  295. whether somebody should be followed respected or anything

  296. else that prejudice that comes that unfavorable potential

  297. opinion. Prejudice comes from a closed

  298. mind. Without any desire effort,

  299. purport to learn the facts, and other words, we need to learn

  300. the facts about a certain person. whenever I was young and

  301. I'm going to date myself here, I'm old I listen to Martin

  302. Luther King. And his his speech about the

  303. mounted talk, is still causes emotion with it.

  304. He talked about one day whenever he sees that a person will be

  305. judged on the nature of his character rather than the color

  306. of his skin. And I just applauded, it was

  307. just amazing. Yes, he saw that day.

  308. They killed him for it. The whole point I'm getting at

  309. is this is God's perspective when we look at each other with

  310. God's eyes, what do we see? we don't see their outer

  311. characteristics, their stature, Their ugliness are cuteness.

  312. To the Chagrin of some young men, you know, women God looks

  313. at the heart, he looks somewhere else.

  314. Well Where did the nation's come from?

  315. Let's just go on. Where did the nation's come

  316. from? I'm glad we have so many young

  317. people here today. Let's talk about this for just a

  318. little bit. This is a picture of a real

  319. place. It doesn't show up.

  320. Well, I got to pixelated, sorry about that.

  321. I have to get a better picture. This is the, what's the

  322. foundations of Babylon? The Tower of Babel.

  323. You can see it today in the Middle East and the in the

  324. valley where it is. It cost you a lot of money to

  325. get there but nonetheless you can see it.

  326. The Tower of Babel, something happened at the Tower of Babel,

  327. we find the languages working. Used.

  328. Now, there's all kinds of languages and dialects and And

  329. accents within our language. I made rebuilt fun of Reba a

  330. long time. because she came from Texas, and when we got married,

  331. I said Reba Reba, my mom wants to hear you count to ten sheikah

  332. 1T, 3, 4, 5, And I'd say, what was that five again?

  333. I was at five or was it five? She goes, it was five.

  334. She still hates that to this day, if I asked her, what was

  335. that five anyway? The whole point is we have

  336. different accents, different things.

  337. And whenever he talks about languages, but there are common

  338. things, people who study, it's like, nobody ever studied this.

  339. Yes, we've studied this. There are about 100 over 100

  340. different languages, but there's there's gobs and gobs of

  341. dialects, and And and little intricate things but that you

  342. kind of better when you boil it down.

  343. There's really not that much distinction between these but

  344. yet at the Tower of Babel they all spoke one language.

  345. Didn't they? In Genesis chapter 11, if you

    Genesis 11 chapter mention

  346. have your Old Testament, please turn to Genesis chapter 11.

    Genesis 11 chapter mention

  347. We're just going to look at a few passages here.

  348. In Genesis 11:1, notice what it says.

    Genesis 11:1

  349. Now, the whole earth used the same language and the same

  350. words, there you go. Now when was this was, this was

  351. just after, after the flood Genesis 9:1.

    Genesis 9:1

  352. But notice what it says here happened after the flood, we

  353. find it, you know, we're all one in Adam and Eve as Romans

  354. argues, but then the world got big and then God had to flush

  355. the world with the flood. And and we got all of these, the

  356. children of Noah. And it says the world and they

  357. were all one. They weren't spreading out over

  358. the world. So they had, yes, they had.

  359. But they hadn't, they there was a big group of them.

  360. That hadn't. And here's why.

  361. And at that, they journeyed East, they found a plain in the

  362. land of shinar and settled there.

  363. And they said, to one another come, let us make bricks and

  364. burn them thoroughly, and use the brick for stone.

  365. And they used Harper mortar. And they said, come, let us

  366. build ourselves a city and a tower, whose top will reach into

  367. into heaven and let us make ourselves a name.

  368. Otherwise, we will was scattered abroad over the face of the old

  369. Earth and the Lord came down to see the city and the tower,

  370. which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, behold.

  371. They are one people and they all have the same language and this

  372. is what they began to do, and how nothing, which they purpose

  373. to do will be impossible for them come.

  374. Let us go down and there confused, their languages.

  375. So they will not understand one another in speech.

  376. Now, the Lord they don't think the Lord did this because he was

  377. upset at himself or or what he meant.

  378. He was upset at, man. For this idea of man was going

  379. to become God. There is nothing impossible for

  380. us. If we all stick together, if we

  381. all stay together and have one language, we are going to be

  382. able to build this into heaven. The Hebrew is really interesting

  383. here and The New American Standard captures that

  384. uniqueness by saying not unto heaven, but into heaven.

  385. And other words, they were literally going to go have war

  386. with God and take over Heaven, become Gods themselves.

  387. It was the idea that we are God of the world and of the cause of

  388. everything. Thing we see, we're going to be

  389. gods and God says, that's not healthy for, man.

  390. That's not healthy. They're going to kill themselves

  391. pretty quick. And so he confused their

  392. languages verse 8. So the Lord scattered them

  393. abroad from over there, over the face of the whole earth and they

  394. stopped building the city. Therefore, the name was called

  395. Babel because the Lord confused the languages of the whole earth

  396. and from there from there. The Lord scattered them abroad,

  397. over the face of the whole earth.

  398. If you want to know wherever all the races came from and all over

  399. the Earth, it's because of that. Now did they all come from the

  400. same source does? Does our studies does our

  401. language studies and studies about history?

  402. Does it confirm this idea? Yes, the land where they had

  403. settled was in that Middle Eastern area of Mesopotamia,

  404. that that we talked about among the Jews, and they were there in

  405. that, in that area. Now, those who are genetic the

  406. study said, well, some maybe it's a little bit lower into a

  407. northern They're in Africa and other say, no, it was in the

  408. Middle East. More room over near Babylon.

  409. The fact of matter is, is where Eden was was between the

  410. Euphrates River. It's a Middle East and a lot of

  411. science says, yeah, that's probably where all of humanity

  412. really came from from there. And notice After the flood,

  413. they're still there and notice what happens.

  414. They're building. They're going to become and God

  415. says, no and scatters them over the face of the whole Earth.

  416. Is there a genetic link between all of us on the earth like a

  417. thankfully? During our generation, we find

  418. the double helix. We have people who have

  419. discovered all these things started tracing things down and

  420. they find out that even the American Indians, that they were

  421. in a different continent but they have Asian connections,

  422. they came over the land bridge. That was up north and what about

  423. the people Australia? Yeah, they have connections to

  424. what about all? Of the other people in the

  425. world, we all have connections. It all is amazingly.

  426. We're all of One people, all of mankind.

  427. We all came from the same place and then we were scattered over

  428. the face of their. That's where all of the things

  429. came from. Well, wait a minute, don't we

  430. have different colored people in different places?

  431. We obviously have different languages.

  432. Why? Where do we get the different

  433. colors in the different genetic? Predisposition, so to speak.

  434. that comes from who you marry, you know and whenever you only

  435. got so many women and men into just a certain area you pick

  436. them to marry with and so you reinforce certain traits and we

  437. have certain traits amongst us that our unique one of the

  438. things whenever I was studying for this, it was really funny.

  439. What I found out about carita. Did you know that Koreans many

  440. Koreans don't smell very much when they sweat?

  441. They they don't some of them don't even have sweat glands,

  442. very much very much, you sweat glands and I thought, you know

  443. what I have never just conscientiously smelled a Korean

  444. Yeah, but there's somebody that does that more power to you.

  445. Somebody goes around the world smelling people and I guess.

  446. Well, no, they figured that. That's a giant.

  447. A genetic difference, there's eyes difference.

  448. There's facial features, there's balm has all of these different

  449. things, as I point to myself, there's ball that the whole

  450. point is, we each have different things and that becomes whenever

  451. we marry somebody that has those genetic we dispositions, we

  452. often develop those freezes positions in a certain area.

  453. But does God say there's some people that have different

  454. physical characteristics that are evidence of how not having a

  455. soul. No.

  456. We know that all men, everywhere have a soul, I do not believe it

  457. is without notice that in Acts the eighth chapter verse 26

  458. through 40. The Ethiopian eunuch is one of

  459. the first converts mentioned in the scriptures.

  460. Now, don't tell me Ethiopians. Don't have a soul, whenever God

  461. and the Holy Spirit, picked an Ethiopian to write an entire a

  462. chapter almost about and his conversion.

  463. That's Doctrine. That's Bible.

  464. You have the Ethiopian eunuch. I'm not going to talk about

  465. eunuchs. So I'm gonna tell everybody

  466. Ethiopians firm in the church, historically in Northern Africa

  467. was huge. It was big.

  468. It was a place where Christianity took, foothold in

  469. the world. And how people can develop a

  470. doctor. I heard whenever I was a young

  471. man someone in a place tell me. That black people don't have a

  472. soul. And I said, are you serious

  473. that? Somebody actually believes that.

  474. They said, yes. That's ridiculous.

  475. My friend. The Holy Spirit took care of

  476. anybody that would even kind of come up with that idea by

  477. putting the Ethiopian eunuch in the scriptures and saying he was

  478. worthy of Salvation, and God spent the time to send somebody

  479. there to have him hear the truth.

  480. And obey the gospel and to spread Christianity in that

  481. country. Jesus even suffered from racism

  482. in John 1, verse 46 Nathaniel, said to him, can any good thing

    John 1:46

  483. come out of Nazareth? Where did that come from?

  484. We say can anything good come out of fill in the blank.

  485. That is wrong thinking. This is obviously prejudiced.

  486. This is obviously stereotyping in the scriptures and God

  487. condemns it in. John 1, verse 46, can anything

    John 1:46

  488. good. Philip said, come and see this

  489. guy is this guy is the Messiah, the Messiah came out of

  490. Nazareth, which wasn't a good place to come from.

  491. Evidently Because back then they stereotypically said people from

  492. Nazareth, weren't worthy of respect.

  493. Philip said, come and see. You've got to see this person,

  494. you've got to see you and hear what he says and see what he

  495. does, and how he is, indeed the Messiah, in John 14 verse 9,

    John 14:9

  496. therefore the Samaritan woman. Now, who were Samaritans,

  497. Samaritans were Jewish people that had intermarried with the

  498. people around them, the other Gentiles and were considered by

  499. the pure race of Jews. The Hebrew of Hebrews.

  500. If you will. They were considered half-breeds

  501. and to be reduce respected. And notice this woman even

  502. viewed herself that way. Therefore the Samaritan woman

  503. said to Jesus. How is it that you being a Jew?

  504. Ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman.

  505. In other words, she was aware that there was racism way back.

  506. Then that there was stereotyping And she says, how come you're

  507. talking to me? I'm a Samaritan, you know, I'm a

  508. Samaritan. Why are you talking to me?

  509. And, of course. Jesus went ahead, says, woman.

  510. If you would have asked, I could give you living water, you'll

  511. never thirst again. He would say she was worthy of

  512. Salvation. And she went around guy that

  513. everyone around to understand that Jesus was different than

  514. anything else that she had ever heard of that.

  515. Jesus was speaking for the mind and the Heart of God.

  516. Well, what does the bible directly say about racism?

  517. And I'm going to have to get down.

  518. The bottom, the bottom Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only true

  519. and Lasting solution to the problem of racism.

  520. Not some more human Concept in our land.

  521. There are in our country right now.

  522. There is another world fruit view that's trying for

  523. dominance. And it's trying to split us up

  524. into groups by our skin color and by our genetics and by all

  525. kinds of little things that you can identify groups identity.

  526. It's called identity politics. It's called this idea of where

  527. you can separate people buy into two basic groups oppressor and

  528. oppressed. And and that's what you've got

  529. to be worried about is which are you and it can happen, even in

  530. homes but that's why I think the home is got to go is because as

  531. long as the structure of male and female, then the Bible says,

  532. you know, because of the relationship that has got to be

  533. destroyed or at least the Western concept of it, the home

  534. needs to be restructured. But notice this, the gospel

  535. really does have the problem solved in the way we are to view

  536. one. Another Christians are to be

  537. different from the world. The Bible says, notice Matthew 5

    Matthew 5:14

  538. verse 14, if you're taking notes, Mmm.

  539. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be

  540. hidden. Nor does anyone light a lamp and

  541. put it under a basket but on a life's lampstand and it gives

  542. light to all their in the house. Let your light shine before men,

  543. in such a way that they may see, your good works.

  544. And glorify your father who is in heaven, this is a Christian

  545. he is Deeds, are to be Authentically.

  546. Offered to all, just like God's was.

  547. We're supposed to imitate our father in that when Jesus came

  548. to the Earth. Did he come to only parts of the

  549. Earth are? Did he come for the whole world?

  550. John 4:23 and 24, John. All these other passages that

    John 4:23

  551. talk about the nature of God. God came to the world acts, 60

  552. God. All in all of these passages,

  553. Jesus came. Tasted death for every man.

  554. Jesus came to save the world, he names the world.

  555. God, so loved the world. John 3:16 that he gave his only

    John 3:16

  556. begotten son. He named the world.

  557. As it metonymy, by the way, to suggest its contents and that's

  558. people us people to save all those who are in the world, God

  559. loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for all of the

  560. humanity that would live on the surface of the planet for

  561. everybody. Everybody.

  562. Jesus came for everybody that Jesus was going to come and

  563. bring Salvation to all these and glorify.

  564. Your father who is in heaven? Love is the more excellent way

  565. in First Corinthians 12 verse 31 but during ladies, the desire

    1 Corinthians 12:31

  566. greater gifts and still, I showed to you a more excellent

  567. way. This way.

  568. Involves love, Agape. Love First.

  569. Corinthians 13. They though I have the ability

  570. to speak all kinds of tongues and have not love it.

  571. Profits, me nothing. And then he goes on down, and

  572. tells us about how love is freely given how it's selfless

  573. is given without regard for the loved ones condition.

  574. Just like the parable of the Good Samaritan Samaritan.

  575. This is supposed to be an illustration of what racism.

  576. No, it's an anti-racist story. Here we have a Jew that's caring

  577. for a Samaritan and takes care of Amy's.

  578. Fell among robbers. And so, he takes him and takes

  579. care of him. Things like that.

  580. Jesus consistently taught against this kind of ideology.

  581. That's what I'm trying to. To get at.

  582. There isn't any verse that is expressly says racism is

  583. suspenseful, but the stories the people Jesus talked to the

  584. things Jesus experienced the way he expressed himself all.

  585. Tell us God's perspective. And he says, I want you to love

  586. one another if I speak with the tongues of men and angels and

  587. don't have love, I become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

  588. If I have the gift of Prophecy, know all Mysteries and have all

  589. knowledge and have all Faith. So as to remove mountains and

  590. don't have love, I am nothing. That means nothing valuable in

  591. the eyes of God. Notice he goes on to say and if

  592. I give all my possessions to feed the poor and surrender, my

  593. body to be burned and don't have love it, profits me nothing.

  594. Love is patient. Love is kind.

  595. Love is not jealous. I want to say the primary

  596. statement about the nature of God as God is love.

  597. Love is the answer. Love does not brag and is not

  598. arrogant loved. In other words, love doesn't

  599. brag about its excellent seeds. Are there distinctions between

  600. different peoples of different nations?

  601. Yeah, some are taller. Some are shorter, some have this

  602. and some have that I thought it was so humorous.

  603. I was watching a black man, preach about racism and he said,

  604. he said, I want you to know That just because you don't have as

  605. much melon. And as I do, I want you to know.

  606. God loves you just as much. And I so appreciated that

  607. statement. We talk about colors.

  608. Let me talk about colors because I'm gonna get off here.

  609. I knew I would colors. What kind of colors do we have

  610. our we green and chartreuse and whatever other colors you want

  611. to come up with our? We have all those things.

  612. No, we basically have one color and we're different shades of

  613. brown. Some of us are dark brown and

  614. some of us are light brown. Some of us have different spots.

  615. My brother has a thing that eats he has a bacteria that eats all

  616. of his melanin. And so his hands.

  617. He's got real white spots and then he's got really dark spots

  618. because he's out in the sun a lot.

  619. And he says, I'm a rainbow Well, I don't care what your spots

  620. are. If you have unique little

  621. blemishes that their wine stains or whatever it might be, I don't

  622. know. But I'll tell you what, all men

  623. have underneath that. God made of one blood all men.

  624. You take blood out of a person and that's whenever you find out

  625. if they're human or not. Because blood you can get the

  626. blood of all different kinds of colors of people and sometimes

  627. you need that blood and it doesn't matter what color the

  628. person had that it came from. And so love, does not seek, its

  629. own is not easily provoked. Don't let Pride about your red

  630. hair or your non-red hair, your kinky hair, your long, straight

  631. hair, your Lack of smell whatever it might be.

  632. That's not something that we should use to feel arrogant,

  633. does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into

  634. account a wrong suffered does not rejoice in unrighteousness.

  635. But rejoices in the truth Bears, all things believes all things,

  636. hopes all things endures, all things, and the second is like

  637. an intuitive. You shall love your neighbor as

  638. yourself. Love God with all our heart

  639. soul, mind strength, love your neighbor as yourself, the Golden

  640. Rule, we're supposed to love. All our neighbors that somebody

  641. outside I'd of yourself the Bible.

  642. Never, never tells you to love yourself.

  643. It tells you to love one. It assumes that you do.

  644. And says you love one another like you love yourself.

  645. We know that that's a lot. So, he says, I want you to care

  646. for one another Law Office, the answer Jesus Christ, really did

  647. bring peace to mankind. Luke 21 verse 29.

    Luke 21:29

  648. Who's my neighbor but wishing to justify himself.

  649. He says he said to Jesus, who is my neighbor, you see back, then

  650. they're still fighting over it. Stereotyping discrimination,

  651. they wanted. They like it, it makes them

  652. proud, it makes America. I'm better than you.

  653. Jesus stop it. Will you just stop it?

  654. Who's my name? The which of these do you think

  655. proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?

  656. And he said the one who showed Mercy to him.

  657. Then Jesus said to him, go do the same.

  658. This is that parable of the Good Samaritan that we were talking

  659. about. This is how God wants us to have

  660. our worldview. I want you to know.

  661. God says I want you to care about everyone regardless of

  662. their genetic family. Everyone is our neighbor and

  663. God's eyes. Everyone is deserving of Love,

  664. including those who have been, we have been taught to hate and

  665. those who have been taught to hate us in Matthew 5, but I say

  666. to you love your enemies. Now, he gets really specific.

  667. I don't know who you consider to be enemies, but Whoever they

  668. are. Here's your command.

  669. Love your enemies. Bless them that curse, you do

  670. good to them. That hate, you pray for them

  671. which despitefully use you and persecute you.

  672. That's right. you know, in the early church racism between Jews

  673. and Gentiles in the first century, we've already noticed

  674. the book the entire book of Galatians But the hatred between

  675. the Jews and the Gentiles is specifically mentioned.

  676. So clearly in the scriptures that there can be no doubt that

  677. all Christians ought to share the same perspective.

  678. And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said

  679. to them brother and, you know, in the early days, God made a

  680. choice among you that by my mouth.

  681. The Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.

  682. And God, who knows the heart. Testified to them, giving them

  683. the Holy Spirit. Just as he did, to us acts 10

  684. acts 11, notice, he could going on in here in Acts 15, it's

  685. repeated again. Three times.

  686. Notice just as he did to us and he made no distinctions between

  687. us and Them cleansing their hearts by faith.

  688. There That's why that's why there should absolutely be no

  689. racism in the Lord's church. Now, there may be racism in some

  690. Churches but it should not be in the Lord's church.

  691. We should not make those kinds of distinctions amongst

  692. ourselves. now, that doesn't mean because there used to be I

  693. get to claim victim status. No.

  694. I'll tell you, whenever it comes to enslavement, every people in

  695. the world have been enslaved by somebody who dominated them.

  696. Africans took slaves of other Africans whenever they dominated

  697. them in the scriptures. Whenever a Wars, even look at

  698. Goliath David and Goliath. If we went, then you get to be

  699. our slaves. That's the way they did it back.

  700. Then, when a war would go dominated land, you would take

  701. those feel asleep, everybody practice slavery back then God

  702. didn't Jesus Christ came and changed the perspective of

  703. everyone in the world. The effect of Jesus Christ on

  704. this world is amazing and people don't give God credit.

  705. Notice what Peter says in Acts 10 opening his mouth.

  706. Peter said, I most certainly understand now that God is not

  707. one to show partiality, but in every what?

  708. Every 435, yeah, every nation the man who fears him and does

  709. what is right is welcomed to him.

  710. That's a significant statement and acts 10 verse 35 in every

    Acts 10:35

  711. nation he who fears him and does.

  712. What is right, is welcome to you.

  713. That's how God designed us to bring Unity is for everybody to

  714. acknowledge our creator. And Obey him.

  715. He became the author of Eternal salvation unto all them, that

  716. obey him, Hebrews 5 and verse 9. Oh everyone.

  717. We don't have to question. If you address as father, the

  718. one who impartially judges according to each one's work,

  719. its individual. This is God's concept where I

  720. got to be saved as a race. We're not going to be saved as

  721. any other group other than the church.

  722. Not some human Arrangement, not some human category.

  723. Not some intersectionality identification.

  724. God says each one's work according to conduct yourself

  725. during fear the time of during your time of your stay on the

  726. earth. Let's look at Romans 1 verse 14.

    Romans 1:14

  727. I am under obligation, both to the Greeks, and to The

  728. Barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

  729. So for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are

  730. at Rome for notice for I'm not ashamed.

  731. Of the gospel. For it is the power of God to

  732. for salvation to everyone, who believes to the Jew first and

  733. also to the Greek. What is he trying to say here?

  734. He's trying to say stop looking that these nationalities.

  735. Stop looking at races and recognize the from God's

  736. perspective. All he wants people to do is

  737. obey the gospel. And the Lord will add him to the

  738. family of God. Spiritually for God is a spirit,

  739. John 4, 23 and 24. Whenever were made in the image

  740. of God. For there is no partiality with

  741. God. No partiality James to James to

  742. my brother, and do not hold the Faith of Our glorious.

  743. Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism.

  744. New American Standard says, notice my brother's do not show

  745. partiality, as you hold the Faith of Our Lord.

  746. Jesus Christ, the lord of Glory English Standard Version.

  747. The Bible says no partiality. There's something unique about

  748. the Christian mindset. And that is a weird to have no

  749. partiality. I'm going to get really I'm

  750. going to get into your business. You ready?

  751. Glenn. Have you ever married the

  752. interracially married people? Yes, right here in Oklahoma

  753. City. Is that something that's talked

  754. about the God? Is that all right with God,

  755. first of all, why are you even asking the question?

  756. Do you have to have a pre-check on the race race of somebody

  757. before you can marry them? Make sure they're not.

  758. Hispanic, or Some other race or whatever, you know.

  759. I don't know, I don't know my children, I don't know.

  760. I want to be able to speak their language, so I don't know if I

  761. should marry Joseph banished person or not.

  762. I don't know if the thinking of some people You may be slightly

  763. different. Are there may be a whole

  764. spectrum of difference and God doesn't care.

  765. God doesn't care. That some of these as you might

  766. not be able to say that not so that's unfortunate.

  767. Because during the time of Christ, I think God and the Holy

  768. Spirit work, really hard to make sure that never happened.

  769. God wants to know if you're headed to the same place.

  770. If you have the same father, if you have the same inheritance,

  771. all he wants all people to come to know him.

  772. But my friends there is no partiality and we should not

  773. hold the Faith of Our Lord. Jesus Christ.

  774. Lord Of Glory with partiality. It's not a problem.

  775. It's not a problem with God. First Samuel, 16 verse 7.

    1 Samuel 16:7

  776. But the Lord God said to Samuel do not.

  777. Look at his appearance nor the height of his stature because I

  778. have rejected him for God sees, not as man.

  779. Sees for God sees not as man sees That's a pretty poured

  780. statement for man. Looks at the outward appearance,

  781. but the Lord looks at the heart. God was saying this Samuel about

  782. David. James 29, but if you show,

  783. partiality, you're committing sin and convinced by the law as

  784. transgressors. Notice the new King James.

  785. But if you show partiality, you were committing sin and

  786. convicted by the law as transgressors, my friends, it's

  787. a sin to have racism in our hearts.

  788. It just is however, you are fulfilling the Royal law corny

  789. to scriptures. You shall love your neighbor as

  790. yourself. You are doing well.

  791. But if you show partiality verse 9, you are committing sin and

  792. are convicted by the block. That's the preface.

  793. That's just that, that's the verse just before this verse You

  794. shall love your neighbor as yourself, my friends, there's no

  795. place for this. The unity of the human race,

  796. anyone made of one man, every nation of mankind to live on the

  797. surf, on the face of the Earth, having determined their

  798. appointed times in the boundaries of their habitation.

  799. He made us all into this into this way.

  800. We have overlooked the times of ignorance God is now declaring.

  801. That all people everywhere should repent.

  802. God will It's the whole world to repair that acts 17:30, he wants

    Acts 17:30
