  1. This evening, we're going to study how to achieve an Abundant

  2. Life. Everybody deserve to him in

  3. Abundant Life. You know why?

  4. Because Jesus, Jesus came to this earth died for us.

  5. He was resurrected and ascended to Heaven.

  6. All these was because he wanted to bring to us an abundant life.

  7. That's what it says in John 10:10.

    John 10:10

  8. The thief does not come except to steal and kill and destroy.

  9. Drawing High hip calm that you may have in the end that they

  10. may have Abundant Life. Abundantly I'm going to read

  11. something from technical problems, let me read it from,

  12. you know, was working on some scriptures this morning and I

  13. did didn't write the thief, does not come except to steal and to

  14. kill. And in the end to destroy

  15. hockey, I have come, that they may have life and that day may

  16. have it more abundantly. Jesus came on a mission, that

  17. means you was to bring to us unabomb life.

  18. The question is why so many people in society, do not enjoy

  19. of that Abundant Life? The answer is because they are

  20. looking that Abundant Life than the wrong places that with the

  21. wrong people. There is some other question.

  22. Why? Some Christians who have obeyed

  23. the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Still, they do not enjoy the

  24. Abundant Life. Well, they need to learn and

  25. practice three important things. That that's the only way they're

  26. Christian can enjoy an abundant life.

  27. That's what we going to study this evening.

  28. Number one, we need to know Jesus.

  29. If I start question, may questions to you, tell me facts

  30. about Jesus. I know you and I tell me good

  31. number of them. He's got means that you know

  32. Jesus no you know, facts about Jesus.

  33. But the question is, do you have a real real intimate

  34. relationship with God or something else?

  35. Right, well, If you ask me, do you know Jesus?

  36. I will not tell you several fact that I have learned from the

  37. Gospels. But that doesn't mean that I

  38. know. Jesus.

  39. No, Jesus means something else. Philippians 3:8, says jacked

    Philippians 3:8

  40. indeed. I also count all things loss for

  41. the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ.

  42. Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffer as I have suffered, the

  43. loss of all things and count them as rubbish.

  44. That I may gain Christ. Paul is saying that he lost

  45. everything for the Excellence of the knowledge of Christ, Jesus

  46. his Lord, our Lord, The word, no.

  47. Must be understood in the Biblical context, we do not use

  48. the word know today, as it was Jesus and the Old and New

  49. Testament times. The word know there is a very

  50. intimate word that the speaks about relationship that you have

  51. with the one that, you know, it is a very intimate word that it

  52. is even used in regard to the fleshly union of a man and a

  53. woman. You know, when Israel, the

  54. people of God in the Old Testament was a stray away from

  55. God was for only one reason. They did not know the Lord.

  56. Isaiah 13 says the arcs knows it knows its owner than the donkey,

  57. its Masters cream, but Israel does not know.

  58. My people do not consider that these people are no facts about

  59. God. Yes, they knew a lot about God,

  60. they really study. The Old Testament.

  61. So they knew they knew facts about God.

  62. But they did not have an intimate relationship with God.

  63. That's what I say is talking about, they had knowledge, he'd

  64. electoral knowledge facts about God but they did not built a

  65. strong Hitman impermanent relationship with God.

  66. And the New Testament. Same thing.

  67. Second Peter 3:18 says, but grow in the grace and knowledge of

    2 Peter 3:18

  68. our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to him.

  69. Be glory both now and forever. Amen.

  70. Grow grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and

  71. Savior. Jesus Christ.

  72. We have to grow, not only having facts because we can study God's

  73. word and we're going to learn facts about Jesus.

  74. And we're going to learn facts about God.

  75. But we're not talking about intellectual knowledge.

  76. We are talking about build a intimate relationship with God

  77. in a daily basis under any circumstances all the time.

  78. Okay, that's what we are talking about.

  79. The Apostle tells us that we must not only know, the fact,

  80. the facts about God, but we must have an intimate relationship

  81. with him. The Apostle says in second

    2 Timothy 1:12

  82. Timothy 1:12 for this reason, I also suffered these things.

  83. Nevertheless I am not ashamed for, I know whom I have believed

  84. and I persuaded that he is able to keep what I have committed to

  85. him until that day. The reason the Apostle hit that

  86. confidence in regards to his Hi was because he built a strong

  87. relationship. Hit the moment relationship with

  88. God, that that was the reason of his confidence.

  89. If we read another scripture Philippians 3:10, it said that,

    Philippians 3:10

  90. I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the

  91. fellowship of his suffering being Form being conformed to

  92. his death. What Paul is saying is that the

  93. whole direction of his life, the whole purpose of his life was

  94. that he might know Jesus and the fellowship of his suffering of

  95. his resurrection. Him being conformed to his

  96. death, did Paul. Know, all the facts about Jesus.

  97. Yes. But the important thing in this

  98. case is that, that knowledge that he had put it in practice,

  99. in effect, his life, building a strong relationship with God.

  100. What in what is involved in knowing Jesus?

  101. It involves participation if you are acting doing what God is

  102. asking to do. They, you know, God, then you're

  103. gonna build that relationship and got to be stronger, stronger

  104. stronger, okay? Because you are active, you are

  105. involved, you are participating, you know, you're busy.

  106. And the kingdom of God. We had to keep Jesus in her

  107. mind. We have to face a situation like

  108. Jesus did, then we're going to know Jesus.

  109. We're going to have a real and intimate relationship with him.

  110. Let me tell you something else before we continue, when we

  111. really know Jesus, the people will know these And when you

  112. know who, when you don't know Jesus, when you do not know

  113. Jesus, the people will know. Even though you say, I'm a

  114. Christian, I'm a member of the body of Christ.

  115. I'm a member of the Church of Christ, the church that Jesus

  116. Built, okay? But the people, the people saved

  117. them really, they know, they know they are watching us.

  118. They are really know if we or what we say that we are.

  119. Look what it says next 413. Now when they saw the boldness

  120. of Peter and John, they perceived that they were on the

  121. Gated on educated and on train man they marble look the last

  122. Light and they realize that they had been with Jesus, huh?

  123. One. Because they add they live, they

  124. speak. They behave like Jesus.

  125. As the only way, that's the only way that we can prove that we

  126. know, Jesus. Yes.

  127. The people will will know if we know Jesus or we know only facts

  128. about him. Let me tell you something else,

  129. I mentioned this and the first lesson and I said that we need

  130. when we know Jesus, when we have an intimate relationship like

  131. Jesus, not only speak like Jesus or Think Like Jesus or face

  132. things, that Jesus we smell like Jesus.

  133. Look what it says here. Now, thanks be to God who always

  134. leads us in Triumph in Christ. Hint through US diffuses defrag

  135. against all his knowledge and every place pay attention to 15

  136. look for. We are to God the fragrance of

  137. Christ. We smell like Christ That's what

  138. it says. Some people are expert in

  139. perfumes. You know, I don't use perfumes,

  140. you noticed that. But anyway you know how I don't

  141. use perfume. Judge some of you.

  142. Perhaps are our expert on that, you know, oh, so-and-so brand,

  143. you know. Well look spiritually look what

  144. it says here for. We are to God the fragrance of

  145. Christ to those. Who are being saved.

  146. Hey your brothers and sisters say mmm.

  147. So, and so smell like Jesus. It's a Christian.

  148. Yes, it's a child of God. Yes, mmm.

  149. Smell like it. Okay, in also a and among those

  150. who are perishing, coworkers. Neighbors, friends penalties.

  151. It is evident that you smell like Jesus for your brothers and

  152. sisters, help for the people and Society.

  153. They see the way you act you behave.

  154. They said. Maybe he's from Mars, you know?

  155. Because he he looks different. He talks to me friend.

  156. He behaves different, he has different attitudes, huh?

  157. Well, smells like Jesus. Yes, sir.

  158. Well, the more you know, Jesus, the more you appreciate him, the

  159. more you appreciate him, the more you're To serve him, the

  160. more you serve him, the more you're going to change the more

  161. you change, the more you're going to rejoice.

  162. And only then is when you going to start and joy to enjoy an

  163. abundant life because you enjoy Jesus because you have an

  164. intimate relationship with him. Then you know, start enjoying

  165. Abundant Life No matter the circumstances around us even in

  166. the middle of October turmoil, you know that you're not alone,

  167. Jesus is with you because you are attached with him like this.

  168. So you can face anything through him because you have a

  169. relationship with him because, you know, Jesus number two, We

  170. need to leave. Jesus knowledge has to effect.

  171. Everything about us. The way we talk the way we

  172. behave. The way we treat others are

  173. attitudes or feelings. How we treat people.

  174. Everything is affected by the knowledge of God.

  175. That's when you really start living Jesus, that's the only

  176. way. Philippians 1:27 said for me to

    Philippians 1:27

  177. live is Christ. Had to die.

  178. Is gain Christians, always gain when we live and when we die,

  179. Nothing to lose. Always we gain, okay.

  180. Boy, saved for me to live is Christ.

  181. He live for Christ. That's what he it says.

  182. That's when true and Abundant Life came to exist in our lives

  183. because he came to bring a new dimension of Life.

  184. They knew quality of life because he is life, John 14:6 6

    John 14:6

  185. says that he is live, okay, real life.

  186. No physical life, spiritual life.

  187. Paul had this kind of life because he was living for Jesus.

  188. We can see this in many experiences in chapter 4 at 14,

  189. at 14, the Apostle, after he just finished his first

  190. missionary journey returned to Antioch to give a report because

  191. this church was the one who Stamps and chapter 13.

  192. Okay, so he came back and give a report and that missionary

  193. journey. He had all kind of persecution

  194. upon him but when he gave his report he did not say one word,

  195. about those things. Listen, the report just part of

  196. the report. Now when they said are calm and

  197. gathered the church together, They reported all that God had

  198. done with them in that. He hit opened the door of Faith

  199. to the Gentiles. He was just worried and

  200. preaching the gospel. Persecution suffering.

  201. He didn't care. You know, why he did it for

  202. Jesus. He was ready to leave for Jesus

  203. or to die with Jesus. That that is what makes the

  204. whole difference. He was not a Superman.

  205. No no. He was just like us.

  206. What was the difference? He was ready to live for Jesus

  207. or to die for Jesus. That is the whole difference,

  208. acts 16 and 25. The Bible tells us but at

  209. midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God

  210. and the prisoners were listening to them.

  211. Paul and Silas preaching, Philip by him baptized media.

  212. Hence the household and they perform a miracle that caused

  213. them trouble. They were put into prison in

  214. admit night. They were singing to God.

  215. That means they were enjoying an abundant life.

  216. In Acts 26 verse 29. He was making his defense before

    Acts 26:29

  217. a group of the king and instead of defending himself, he

  218. preached the gospel. He was trying to reach a

  219. grapevine. All of them, their fastest, and

  220. all the people there. She can't that abundant life

  221. regardless the circumstances then you know we can read and

  222. second Corinthians when you have time.

  223. Read second Corinthians 11:23 until 30 in, you're going to see

    2 Corinthians 11:23

  224. all the suffering that that Paul faced.

  225. No problem. He was ready to leave.

  226. He was ready to die for Jesus. Why?

  227. Why? Because he was living for Jesus.

  228. That's why he enjoyed. I got a bomb life no matter

  229. what. One time me, big brother, he was

  230. just baptized a perhaps. Three or four weeks ago, he

  231. asked me. Brother, you used you said in

  232. your lesson done now I'm going to have an Abundant Life.

  233. Yes. That's what the Bible says.

  234. Yes. John 10:10 got mean that I'm not

    John 10:10

  235. going to have any problem or all say no, no, no.

  236. The, you know, that the marvelous statement that Jesus

  237. gave in John, 10:10 about that Abundant Life is because even

  238. though we are facing problems tribulations, You name it.

  239. You never going to be alone and God is going to give you peace,

  240. real peace, real happiness because when you know, Jesus and

  241. you live, Jesus Never is going to affect you all the problems

  242. and tribulations that you may face in life.

  243. That's why he's so marvelous to know Jesus and to live Jesus.

  244. Finally, we need to share Jesus. We talked before the service is

  245. about that. No.

  246. You want to to feel what you are looking at.

  247. Something that is empty somewhere and your soul share,

  248. Jesus talked about others about Jesus.

  249. And you not feel. Hmm.

  250. Wow. Delicious.

  251. You know, it's just in past incredible feeling when you

  252. share a Jesus because, you know, we have a lot of knowledge, you

  253. know, with the leaders here and in each congregation, but, you

  254. know, you have the knowledge. In a safe deposit box Wells

  255. Fargo or another bad you know you have it there.

  256. No open your mouth and share it. Yes you know we need to do that.

  257. The knowledge is to share with others.

  258. There are so many people dying. Coworkers are dying and they are

  259. going straight to hell right now.

  260. Right here in this Stay down. And there are some Christians,

  261. there are some real Christians spiritual Christians around

  262. them. And I don't think is fair.

  263. That we keep our mouths closed, and don't tell them.

  264. God loves you, Jesus died for you.

  265. God has a plan for you. Are you interested to listen

  266. about it? Very simple.

  267. Very simple. If you if you don't do that is

  268. because you don't want our brother and the prayer mentioned

  269. about comfort zone. I like it comfort zone is fine.

  270. You know. I just want to try to leave.

  271. I'm going to do my best living for Jesus.

  272. Hey, what about the last one? Oh no.

  273. What about the out? You remember?

  274. What about? I don't know.

  275. Come for some very easy, very easy.

  276. No, no, I'm going to read one. Scripture that came to my mind

  277. right now, you know, James 4:17, think about this scripture.

    James 4:17

  278. James 4:17, look what it says. Therefore to him, who knows to

    James 4:17

  279. do good and does not do it to him.

  280. It is sin. It is good to share the Gospel

  281. of Jesus Christ. He's in the just good.

  282. He said commandment not to 28 March 16 and I can give you more

  283. First Peter chapter 2 and others.

    1 Peter 2 chapter mention

  284. Okay he said commandment from God share, share, share Jesus.

  285. Okay, well, is it good to do that?

  286. Yes, well, if you don't do it, You're sitting.

  287. That's what Jake 417 says, or if I understood it wrong, please

  288. let me know because I don't want to preach something, that is

  289. wrong. And that doesn't mean that you

  290. need to go and knock doors and, you know, or, you know, but him

  291. a card share with somebody. Hey, I'm a Christian, this is a

  292. card with information. What we meet in, will be a

  293. pleasure to have you with us anytime.

  294. That's it. That's it. so it is so important

  295. to realize all these burden, Look what he says in First Peter

    1 Peter 2:9

  296. chapter 2 verse 9. But you are a chosen generation.

  297. Praise the Lord royal priesthood.

  298. Who am I? Yes, you are Leah.

  299. Laughs I'm a privileged people. You know, I've only nation has

  300. special people his or his are special people.

  301. Okay, that you met what Clean the braces of you who called you

  302. out of Darkness into his marvelous life.

  303. Let me ask you something. Why you are here?

  304. What you are a Christian today? because somebody talked to you

  305. about Jesus ascending, could you imagine that nobody talk to you

  306. about Jesus? You were, you would be lost

  307. today, but somebody talk to you about Jesus, you obey the

  308. invitation, listen about Jesus of a, The Plan of Salvation and

  309. became a child of God. He's Fair.

  310. The we need to go and do the same book dolls who haven't

  311. heard about Jesus yet. Very simple.

  312. We have so many privileges but we have a responsibility.

  313. You we need like it says here. We need to proclaim the Praises

  314. of him who called you out of Darkness into his marvelous

  315. life, how we can do this. There are two ways.

  316. One by your example. Look what he says in Matthew 5.

  317. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill.

  318. Cannot be hidden, nor do they light?

  319. Lamp and put it under a basket but on a lampstand and it gives

  320. light to all who you are in the house.

  321. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good

  322. works and glorify your father in Heaven, how they're going to

  323. glorify your father? Which is in heaven through your

  324. example because we are the light of the world.

  325. Jesus said in John 8:12, I am the light of the world but here

    John 8:12

  326. and the sermon of the mount mountain, he said you are, yes,

  327. we are to the light of the world. well, through our living,

  328. the way we live the way, we are believe that the way we talk, we

  329. show, we send light to those who are in darkness and some of them

  330. if they pay attention to our good example, Date me come and

  331. glorify God. What is the other way?

  332. Revelations 22:17, and the spirit, and the bride say, come

    Revelation 22:17

  333. the spirit Through the Bible and the bright.

  334. Who is the bride? We the church.

  335. The church says what come are you?

  336. Are you telling people come Coworker, classmate, friends,

  337. enemies, come well, that's what God expects from us to let the

  338. people come. I'm a Christian I enjoy an

  339. Abundant Life come and learn about it.

  340. Jesus died for you. Both there are many things that

  341. we can say just to invite to motivate the people to to listen

  342. about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  343. So, good example. And give extend an invitation.

  344. When you do that, there are a lot of possibilities that other

  345. people make. Make calm, or at least at least,

  346. listen about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. so, in order to have an

  347. abundant life You need to know Jesus, build a strong

  348. relationship, intimate relationship with Jesus live

  349. Jesus. The people has to see Jesus and

  350. do life. And then shared Jesus.

  351. And then you want to have an abundant life the you want to

  352. enjoy and Abundant Life, if you're not a Christian You need

  353. first to obey, A Simple Plan of Salvation that we find in the

  354. New Testament. The Plan of Salvation consistent

  355. obeying 50 Bay, five steps or requirements, you need to listen

  356. the word of God. Because to listen to the word of

  357. God, you you're going to earn obtain Faith.

  358. That's what it says in Romans 10:17.

    Romans 10:17

  359. You need to have faith in God. You need to believe that Christ

  360. is the Son of God. That's what it says.

  361. In John 3:16, you need to repent of your sins.

    John 3:16

  362. Realize that you are senior. All of us are What what's the

  363. difference between a senior and the world?

  364. And Christians? Well, we still Sinners but we

  365. have been forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ.

  366. You need to repent of your sins. Look, 13, 1 through 5.

  367. You have to confess that Christ is the Son of God, according to

  368. Romans, 10:9, and 10, and be baptized for the remission of

  369. your sins, according to Acts 2:38.

    Acts 2:38

  370. Do you want to enjoy an abundant life?

  371. This is a question for a Christian.

  372. Well, build brother, sister, a strong intimate permanent

  373. relationship with Jesus. Number one, then leave Jesus.

  374. They share, Jesus. And you're going to have an

  375. abundant life. Do that and you're going to

  376. enjoy Abundant Life hope and pray that these thoughts from

  377. God's word can really help us to enjoy and Abundant Life.

  378. Jesus brought that Abundant Life to us, you want to take it or

  379. you're going to leave it. We thank you for listening to
