  1. I want to talk about the Soldiers of Christ and this

  2. certainly is not a new subject. This is I gave this same lessons

  3. a few years back, and, but I believe it's good for us

  4. especially even those that are newer members those that are

  5. babes in Christ to understand what our responsibility as is as

  6. a soldier of Christ. In second, Timothy the second

  7. chapter verses 1 through 4, Paul writing to Timmy said, Timothy

  8. says now, therefore my son, be strong in the grace, that is in

  9. Christ, Jesus. And the things that thou Hast

  10. heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou

  11. to Faithful, Men Who Shall be able to teach others also, Now,

  12. therefore, endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

  13. No, man. That warith entangled himself

  14. with the Affairs of this life. That he may please him who had

  15. chosen him to be a soldier. You think about the Apostle,

  16. Paul and the battles that he went through for Christ,

  17. consider the old battle-scarred Warriors.

  18. Paul in Galatians, the sixth chapter in verses 16 relations

  19. of 6, chapter and verse 17. From henceforth, let no man

  20. trouble me for I bear in my body, the marks of the Lord,

  21. Jesus, Not only was there taunting and was their mental

  22. distress that Paul endured. But there was also a physical

  23. scars on his own body, from his war against Satan.

  24. In the end, the evil things of this Earth.

  25. Enemies are the cause of war in 1st Peter, 5 and verse 8, be

  26. sober be vigilant because your adversary, the devil as a

  27. roaring lion walketh about seeking whom.

  28. He may devour. If we do not think that we are

  29. in a battle, we are mistaken and we are deceiving ourselves.

  30. If we do not think that we are in a spiritual war, there is a

  31. Warfare going on for our souls. We are sadly.

  32. Deceived this morning, he talked talking here.

  33. He says, be sober be vigilant because your adversary, the

  34. devil that's who were fighting against, that's who are we?

  35. We are in a battle with against for our soul, but that the

  36. Warfare is not something that we fight here on this Earth with

  37. physical means. In other words, we don't have

  38. tanks and Bazookas and missiles and Rockets and bombs and all

  39. these kinds of things. It Is a spiritual warfare,

  40. Ephesians 6, and verse 12 for we wrestle.

  41. Not against flesh and blood, not physically, but against

  42. principalities against Powers against the rulers.

  43. Of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness, in

  44. high places, this is a spiritual warfare.

  45. It is something that we don't necessarily see right in from

  46. us. In front of us, there is a

  47. spiritual warfare. That is going on all around us

  48. and it is something against the rulers of the darkness of this

  49. world against principalities against Powers.

  50. Spiritual wickedness. In high places notice also 2nd

  51. Corinthians 10 verses 3 through 5 for though.

  52. We walk in the flesh. We do not war after the flesh

  53. for the weapons of our Warfare are not carnal.

  54. But Mighty through God to the pulling The pulling down of

  55. strongholds casting down imaginations and every High

  56. thing that exalteth itself, against the knowledge of God and

  57. bringing into captivity every thought to The Obedience of

  58. Christ. Also 1st Peter 2 and verse 11

  59. dearly beloved I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims abstain

  60. from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.

  61. So it is a battle against our soul, that is a battle against

  62. our spiritual soul. That is going on each and every

  63. day. That's the kind of warfare that

  64. is happening in our lives, with all the turmoil that's going on

  65. today in the world, we need to arm ourselves, both and protect

  66. ourselves and our families against the war for our souls.

  67. You know, we look at and we hear about all the Use.

  68. I can't even hardly watch the news anymore, I get Snippets.

  69. And that's all I need anymore to be able to turn it off and not

  70. even listen to it, but it talks. But the all the news today is

  71. about all the things that war against the soul.

  72. That's all we hear about are things that war against the

  73. soul. We hear about Sin, we heard but

  74. depravity. We hear about so many things

  75. that they're trying to get our children to turn away from, even

  76. their own parents. That our parents are the are the

  77. enemy. They're trying to change our

  78. children in privacy. From their parents.

  79. That is a war against the soul of man, a war against our

  80. children, a war against our families.

  81. That is going on all this stuff about who you identify as today.

  82. Whether you identify as a man, or whether you identify as a

  83. woman, God made, man, and God made woman, and that's who we

  84. are. But the warring of the soul will

  85. tell you something different. There is a war going on, trying

  86. to change those things and it is a fight that we are against

  87. today. We want to talk a little bit

  88. about the enlistment of the soldier.

  89. We realize that this enlistment is something that is voluntary,

  90. it is not something that is forced on us.

  91. It is of our own free will Joshua told the Israelites in

  92. Joshua 24? And verses verse 15.

  93. Choose for you this day, whom you will serve.

  94. He said, goes on to say in the latter part of the verse, but as

  95. for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  96. So we have to make that choice. It is not forced upon us.

  97. We have all made that choice today that we are going to serve

  98. the Lord. It is a voluntary Army for the

  99. Lord, but we need to make that choice who we are going to serve

  100. and Lessman is for Life. Revelations 2 and verse 10 fear.

  101. None of those things that thou shalt suffer behold.

  102. The devil shall cast some of you into prison that ye may be

  103. tried. And ye shall have tribulation

  104. ten days. Be thou faithful unto death and

  105. I will give you a Crown of Life. So this is a lifetime

  106. enlistment, you know, a person goes down and this is in the

  107. Army and listens and navy and listen, the Air Force, or

  108. whatever it may be. And that's for a certain period

  109. of time, for whatever it is for years, 10 years, 20 years,

  110. whatever it may be. But when we enlist in the army

  111. of Christ, it is for Life as a lifetime commitment.

  112. It's not that we get in and we say, well, you know, this isn't

  113. working out the way I thought it was.

  114. I didn't know I was going to be crawling in mud.

  115. I didn't know that I was going to have.

  116. Bullets, flying over my head. I didn't know people were going

  117. to be shooting at me. I didn't know they were going to

  118. be dropping bombs near to me and things of that nature.

  119. I'm just done with this. I'll see you guys later.

  120. I'm going to go do something else.

  121. It's much more safe. Know when we enlist in the army

  122. of God, we enlist for wife. It is a lifetime commitment.

  123. And when things get rough, and when things get tough, we don't

  124. just throw our arms arms up and say, you know what?

  125. I'm done with this. We don't do that.

  126. It is be, thou faithful unto death and I will give you a

  127. Crown of Life. The Rules Of Enlistment are

  128. Hearing the word of God. Romans 10 verse 17.

    Romans 10:17

  129. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God,

  130. believing Mark 16 and verse 16, he who believes and is baptized

  131. will be saved. But he who does not believe will

  132. be condemned. We find that there is repentance

  133. and must take place to be enlisted in the army of God,

  134. Acts 2, and verse 38. Then Peter said to them.

  135. Repent. And let every one of you be

  136. baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of

  137. sins. And you will receive The gift of

  138. the Holy Spirit. We find that the confession is

  139. is necessary for entrance into the army of God and confessing

  140. in Matthew 10 verse 32. Therefore, whoever confesses me

    Matthew 10:32

  141. before men him, I will also confess before my father, who is

  142. in heaven, baptism is all a cell also, essential to be in the

  143. army of God first Peter 3. And verse 21 there is also an

  144. antitype which now saves us. Baptism, not the removal of the

  145. filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good Good conscience

  146. toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  147. You cannot get into the US Army without a commitment without

  148. meeting the requirements and neither can you get into the

  149. army of God without meeting the requirements?

  150. Also, there are no path of pacifists allowed in this Army.

  151. You are either against or you are for God, Matthew 12 and

  152. verse 30. He that is not with me is

  153. against me and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

  154. Also the uniform that we wear as and the weapons that we use as

  155. the Christian Soldier Ephesians, the sixth chapter, this is

  156. suffered a series of verses that we are all very familiar with

  157. Ephesians, the sixth chapter and verses 10 through 17, finally,

  158. Brethren my brethren, be strong. And I think that's one of the

  159. things that we need to understand is the furry first

  160. thing, He says, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His

  161. might put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to

  162. stand against The Wiles or the deceitful, and schemes, and

  163. trickery of the devil. For we wrestle or struggle, not

  164. against flesh and blood. But against principalities

  165. against Powers against the rulers of Darkness of this world

  166. against spiritual wickedness, in high places Wherefore take unto

  167. you, the whole armour of GOD that ye may be able to withstand

  168. in the evil day and having done all to stand.

  169. It goes on to say in verse 14 stand therefore having your

  170. loins Girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of

  171. righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the

  172. gospel of peace above all taking the shield of Faith wherewith,

  173. ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked

  174. and take the Moment of Salvation And The Sword of the spirit,

  175. which is the word of God. We want to notice of these

  176. things, very briefly each one of these items he talks about, in

  177. verse 14 stand. Therefore prepared, preparing

  178. yourselves for the battle at hand, and gather all the pieces

  179. together, so that you're ready to fight this battle.

  180. Put on the whole armor. Now, it would not make sense for

  181. us. It would not make sense for us

  182. for when we enlist in the army, The US Navy, or the US Army or

  183. whatever. It may be to go down in there

  184. and give you a helmet and you say, well no, I really don't

  185. think I'm going to need that helmet.

  186. I'll just pass on that and they give you body protection.

  187. A bulletproof? Vest, maybe say, well, no, you

  188. know I really don't think I'm going to need that.

  189. That's too heavy. I won't be as quick on my feet

  190. as I need to be. But if I'm going into battle,

  191. I'm putting everything they've got on me everything.

  192. And that's what he says here. He says put on the whole armor

  193. so that you can withstand these things.

  194. Having your loins Girt about with truth.

  195. This was a heavy leather belt supporting the sword in the

  196. clothing. Arming ourselves with the truth.

  197. And you know, this is there's kind of a theme here within

  198. these verses No man can enter the Christian fight without the

  199. truth of the gospel of Christ, because if it is not true, then

  200. we're going into battle with something that is false.

  201. Something that is not proven something that is not sure

  202. something that is not supported by God.

  203. Something that is not a weapon or a way of shielding our body

  204. that is unproven When we go into battle with the truth, we know

  205. we have something that will work.

  206. This is the way we know our enemy and we know how they

  207. fight. We know how they come to attack

  208. us and we gird ourselves with the truth against false Doctrine

  209. against lies. And those things that would

  210. deceive us. Truth is something that we can

  211. trust in. John 17 verse 17, sanctify them

    John 17:17

  212. through thy truth. Thy word is truth, the word of

  213. God, the Bible that way we read that is the truth, is the word

  214. that God has given us to know how to go into battle against

  215. Satan and John 8 verse 32 and you shall know the truth.

    John 8:32

  216. And the truth shall make you free.

  217. What we fight, we fight for freedom We Fight For Freedom

  218. against sin, we fight to be freed from sin.

  219. So if we're going to get Freedom, if we are going to be

  220. free, it is going to be the truth that will set us free.

  221. He talks about the breastplate of righteousness, verse 14, and

  222. having on the Blessed Prater breastplate of righteousness,

  223. this was made of steel brass, copper sheets of iron and it

  224. signifies the practice of righteousness.

  225. A holy life. Righteousness is What men's

  226. whole spiritual existence depends on its worn over the

  227. breast to protect the vital organs and repel the darts, and

  228. the arrows, and the spears that may be thrown at us.

  229. It's there to protect us from what Satan throws at us.

  230. If we are, do not have on the breastplate of righteousness,

  231. then guess what? We are subject to injury and

  232. death. Righteousness is not provided

  233. for us. It's something that we must

  234. produce in our own lives. We must be righteous and First

  235. John 3 and verse 7 and 10 little children.

  236. Let no man deceive you. He that doeth righteousness is

  237. righteous even as he is righteous in this, the children

  238. of God are manifest and the children of the devil whosoever,

  239. doeth not righteousness, is not of God, neither, he that loveth,

  240. not his brother goes on to talk about the shoes that the

  241. Christian wears. And verse 15 and your feet shod

  242. with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

  243. Well, the purpose Of any battle. As we said was, is to obtain

  244. freedom, but also to have peace. And unity, if the feed or legs

  245. of the soldier wounded, they can't stand.

  246. They can't fight. Every Christian consider should

  247. consider himself on a journey from this place to heaven.

  248. And not only stand, every moment prepared to go forward.

  249. But every moment in a press towards our home, always ready

  250. and prepared, these were strong sandals.

  251. That were tightly bound it to the feet.

  252. They might have even spikes on the bottom of them to Aid in

  253. climbing and and may be able to navigate through mud and

  254. slippery surfaces and Slick surfaces.

  255. In Romans 10 verses 15 through 17.

    Romans 10:15–17

  256. So, as much as in me is Paul said, I am ready to preach the

  257. gospel. To you that are at Rome also for

  258. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of

  259. God unto salvation to everyone that believeth to the Jew first

  260. and also to the Greek for therein is the righteousness of

  261. God revealed from Faith to Faith.

  262. As it is written, the just shall live by faith.

  263. So, Paul says, I'm prepared and I'm ready to preach the gospel.

  264. Are we prepared and ready? Do we have on Armor or we ready

  265. to meet the full? Are we ready to March forward?

  266. He talks about the shield, the most versatile of all made to

  267. wear on the arm above all taking the shield of faith.

  268. We're in. She shall be able to quench all

  269. the fiery darts of the wicked. You know, if we don't have a

  270. strong faith, if our faith is weak, then we're going to fail.

  271. We can be Co overcome with wicked things, if we're not

  272. studying our bibles, if we're not reading our bibles, if we're

  273. not growing, in the knowledge of God, if we're not strengthening

  274. our faith and we're just relying on Services once a week to take

  275. care of that. My faith isn't strengthening

  276. then when the fiery darts come at us, guess what happens?

  277. They pierce, they heard and they destroy.

  278. Because our faith is weakened. We become overcome with wicked

  279. things of this world and of this life.

  280. What if you go into debate or a talk or a discussion with

  281. someone about all this discussion of the day?

  282. Today about this selecting, your gender and all these other

  283. things that are going on around us and you don't know the word

  284. of God and what God has to say about that.

  285. How are you going to defend the word?

  286. How are you going to defend your faith?

  287. How are you going to defend? What you believe?

  288. if you don't know what you believe, So, the shield of

  289. faith, our faith has to be strong, fiery darts of the,

  290. wicked are evil, thoughts and strong passions that if not

  291. controlled, they penetrate through that shield and damage

  292. us spiritually. But our faith can quench all

  293. that our faith can stand up to that.

  294. Those passions will pass through the mind and never have a

  295. stopping place. And never met like that you stop

  296. and think about, well, you know what, he had to say was really

  297. interesting. You know, it kind of made sense.

  298. What does God have to say about that?

  299. Hebrews 11 verse 6. But without faith, it is

    Hebrews 11:6

  300. impossible to please him. For he that cometh to God must

  301. believe that he is, and that he is, a rewarder of them that

  302. diligently seek him. We need to have a strong faith.

  303. So then Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  304. Read our Bibles study, our Bibles know what we believe and

  305. why we believe it because it is the truth.

  306. And the truth is what will set us free.

  307. The Shield is intended to protect us from the wicked and

  308. if we then will continually study God's word and keep our

  309. convictions, strong, our faith strong would label us to

  310. deflect, whatever Satan throws at us each and every day, the

  311. helmet of salvation. He says, take that and put it on

  312. the helmet was made of thick, leather or brass.

  313. It's a helmet that protects the head.

  314. And and this helmet is something that's impenetrable.

  315. That the blow of an axe or a sword or whatever, it may be

  316. some staff. Will protect us from those blows

  317. the hope of continual safety and protection built on the promise

  318. of God. We can be assured of the fact

  319. that no matter how Fierce the battle we will compute be

  320. protected. As long as we are looking toward

  321. Heaven as our hope and goal because God has promised us The

  322. sword of the spirit, the sword of the spirit which is the word

  323. of God. This is the only offensive

  324. weapon that we have at our use that the Christian prepare.

  325. Possesses its powerful and mighty.

  326. Notice what? Hebrews 4 verse 12 says, for the

    Hebrews 4:12

  327. word of God, which is the sword that he's talking about here.

  328. Is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword

  329. piercing, even to the dividing asunder of Soul and Spirit and

  330. of the joints and Marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and

  331. intents of the heart. And you know what if that sword

  332. is left in Shield? If it's left in its Scabbard and

  333. it's never used. You won't be able to defend

  334. yourself, you won't be able to defend others and you will wind

  335. up losing your life. It's the same and never changes

  336. its all-powerful, it is even Pierce's to the to discern

  337. between the thoughts and the intents of the heart.

  338. So you see the theme that is used here throughout these

  339. verses, how the word of God is so important to us to use.

  340. It's not men's idea, it's not philosophy, it's not theology.

  341. Or someone's theory about something, when we study the

  342. word of God and we read it and we understand what it says that

  343. is what will defend us and an end and also will ward off sin

  344. around. Us says, do we have on certainly

  345. the whole armor of God. We find that we must train, our

  346. armor and weapons are of no benefit and no value.

  347. If we don't know how to use them, you know what a person in

  348. lists into the army today, the the US Army, they go to what is

  349. called basic training. To know how to use the weapons

  350. that are given to them and know how to defend themselves and

  351. defend others as well. Basic training, first, Peter, 2

  352. and verse 2. As newborn babes desire, the

  353. sincere milk of the word that you may grow.

  354. Thereby, there it is again. What's important to us the word

  355. of God, exercise and training your essential and prepare us

  356. for the Battle of life that we have to be fought each and every

  357. day. And if not we lose second

    2 Timothy 4:7–8

  358. Timothy 4 verses 7 through 8. I have fought the good fight.

  359. Paul says I have finished. My course, I have kept the faith

  360. henceforth. There is laid up for Me a crown

  361. of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall

  362. give me at that day, and not to me only but unto all them also

  363. that love his appearing. Also soldiers need strength to

  364. endure hardship, 2nd, Timothy 4 and verse 5, but that but watch

  365. thou in all things endure afflictions.

  366. We see these these endurance runs and and triathlons where

  367. they swim for so long and bright a bike for so long and then run

  368. a marathon afterwards. You got to have some endurance

  369. to be able to make it to the end of that.

  370. And that be, it takes some training.

  371. We have to endure the hardships and we have to endure all the

  372. problems on the things that come at us in this Christian Life.

  373. And we have to learn how to deal with those.

  374. Those things that are brought before us and get around them,

  375. or get through them or get under them.

  376. However, it is, but this is a battle of endurance.

  377. It is not a Sprint all the time. It is a battle of endurance and

  378. Paul says, I have fought the good fight.

  379. I have finished. My course, I have kept the

  380. faith. There's a reward for me and he

  381. tells us also tells Timothy to be be enduring also in second

  382. Timothy In verse three, thou therefore endure hardship as a

  383. good soldier of Jesus Christ. Also soldiers must be alert for

  384. spies and those who are traitors.

  385. In Acts the SEC 20th, chapter verses 29 through 31 for, I know

  386. this. That after my departing shall

  387. Grievous. Wolves.

  388. Enter in among you not sparing? The flock also of your own

  389. selves shall men. Arise speaking perverse, things

  390. to draw away disciples after them.

  391. Therefore watch. And remember that by the space

  392. of three years, I ceased not to warn every one night and day

  393. with tears. So we have to be aware and that

  394. goes back to knowing the word of God and what is right?

  395. And what is wrong. And watching out for those

  396. traders, that might be around us, false Brethren, and doctor

  397. and also with in Galatians 2 and verse 4.

  398. And that because of false Brethren unawares brought in who

  399. came in, privily to spy out our Liberty, which we have in Jesus

  400. Christ that they might bring us into bondage.

  401. You know, we don't see what we see on the news today when it

  402. comes to a military battle. We see all the fighting that

  403. goes on, the shooting of guns and in tanks and bombs and

  404. missiles and they'll send those kind of things.

  405. But behind the scenes, there is spying going on that.

  406. We don't see The enemy doesn't see.

  407. And sometimes there's there's things like this that happen

  408. within the church and we ought not to let that happen by false

  409. Doctrine and false false teaching also.

  410. Second Corinthians 11 verses, 14 to 15 and no Marvel for Satan

  411. himself is transformed into an angel of Light.

  412. Therefore it is no great thing. If his ministers also be

  413. transformed as the Ministers of righteousness, Who's in shall be

  414. according to their works. We got to be careful.

  415. We have to be vigilant, we have to be careful and not let these

  416. things happen. Not that false teachers.

  417. Come in Paul's brob false Brethren and false Doctrine into

  418. the church false prophets will camouflage themselves.

  419. Jesus said in Matthew 7, verses 15 through 17, beware of false

    Matthew 7:15–17

  420. prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly.

  421. They are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their

  422. fruits do men, gather Grapes of thorns or figs of thistles, we

  423. shall know them by their fruits. we all remember the old cartoons

  424. with the Sheepdog sitting up watching over the flock of sheep

  425. and then all said and the wolf comes along and he's got a cloak

  426. of sheep's clothing over him. And we have to be careful of

  427. that. Also, we want to notice about

  428. deserters and in subordinates 1st Timothy 4, and verse 1.

  429. Now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter

  430. times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to

  431. seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

  432. We've witnessed this. We've seen this.

  433. How doctrines false doctrines can influence a person and pull

  434. them away and desert the true church in subordinates.

  435. Second Thessalonians 3 and verse 6.

  436. Now we command you brethren in the name of our Lord Jesus

  437. Christ that you withdraw yourselves from every brother

  438. that walketh disorderly and not after the tradition which he

  439. received of us. Sometimes, there are tough

  440. things that have to happen. that we have to withdraw some from

  441. those that would oppose the church, I want to talk for a

  442. moment briefly about Friendly Fire.

  443. What is friendly fire? Well throughout history and this

  444. is I'm quoting from an article that my brother Glenn had

  445. written and I've got some Snippets of it here throughout

  446. history in the heat of confusion and confusion of battle.

  447. Soldiers have mistakenly attacked their own troops

  448. thinking they were engaging the enemy.

  449. This misguided attacks are called Friendly Fire and history

  450. has shown that Whatever. Whenever Wherever there is,

  451. Conflict, there is friendly fire.

  452. Regret regrettably the same phenomenon phenomenon is also

  453. found in spiritual warfare. Sometimes Christians, become

  454. confused and believe that they are battling an enemy.

  455. When in reality were battling, those who are on the same side,

  456. Paul gave the church in galatia warning, about spiritual

  457. Friendly Fire, and Galatians 5 and verse 15.

  458. But if you bite and devour one another be, what be we're lest

  459. you be consumed by one another We in and inadvertently May pick

  460. up and swing our spiritual sword at everyone who would challenge

  461. us over time, we may even develop their perspective.

  462. That anyone who disagrees with us is our enemy We develop this

  463. conviction because we sincerely believe that we are on the

  464. Lord's Side and know the truth. Therefore, anyone who is not on

  465. our side, must be the enemy of God and not know the truth.

  466. Since we are on the Lord's Side, they must be off.

  467. We must be make sure that we at that.

  468. The fight were fighting for is the Lord's and not our own.

  469. The Bible tells us to examine everything carefully first

  470. Thessalonians 5 and 21. But when doing this, we must

  471. work at it. Objectively not just not just

  472. react defensively again. What?

  473. God demands that we love the truth.

  474. Second Thessalonians, 2 and 10, not just automatically defend

  475. our position to love the. Truth means to want to know the

  476. truth even if it costs us the embarrassment of being found

  477. wrong. To automatically react

  478. defensively to every question or disagreement is fleshly

  479. unintelligent immature. And a symptom of Pride.

  480. So we need to be careful about Friendly Fire and make sure who

  481. we are firing at. And one of those things that we

  482. must do is we must know who our enemy is and recognize our

  483. enemy. At times, we may attack allies

  484. because we don't recognize them. They may not be familiar with

  485. them, we may not be familiar with them, so we attack before.

  486. We know that who we are attacking, these may be genuine

  487. Brethren from a different country or culture.

  488. Just because they don't use the same translation we do.

  489. Use the same song book, we do wear the same fashions that we

  490. wear know the same people. We know does not mean that they

  491. do not know the Lord. And as a person can through

  492. faith obey, the gospel and worship, God in spirit, and in

  493. truth, and not know us personally the supplies to the

  494. people within our own country as well.

  495. We can't be involved in in rivalry in the church.

  496. That leads to Civil War. We've seen that happen

  497. sometimes. Criticize others in the church

  498. discourage our own children. We are on the same side, we all

  499. wear the same uniform, that is the uniform of Christ.

  500. Galatians 3 and verse 27, for as many of us as have been baptized

  501. into Christ, have put on Christ. So we wouldn't want to shoot our

  502. own at our own men. We wouldn't want to shoot at

  503. God's Men and don't forget who the enemy is.

  504. On the day of judgment, we don't want to be guilty.

  505. Found guilty of friendly fire, axe 5 and verse 39, but if it be

  506. of God, we cannot overthrow it last happily.

  507. We be found even to fight against God.

  508. Also, being a good soldier, requires sacrifice.

  509. We sacrifice our time, we sacrifice our own selfish

  510. desires. We sacrifice all that we are and

  511. all that we have for the cause of Christ, Romans 12, and verse

  512. 1. I beseech you therefore Brethren

  513. by the mercies of God, that you present, your bodies, a Living

  514. Sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable

  515. service. No, the graveyards of the

  516. military are filled with men that gave their life for the

  517. country for this country. They sacrifice their life for

  518. this country and we as soldiers of the Cross as soldiers of God.

  519. Give our bodies as a living, sacrifice for the cause of

  520. Christ. One of our greatest battles that

  521. we have in this life is fighting for our children, our

  522. grandchildren, and our families, excuse me.

  523. If we can keep our kids safe from Satan, we've won.

  524. If we keep our grandchildren safe from Satan, we've won, if

  525. we can fight the battle and save our families, we have one that

  526. is your responsibility as a parent to save that little child

  527. and to make sure they're Seoul makes it to happen.

  528. That's your responsibility is save and that is a battle.

  529. That is a struggle. That is a hard hard thing to do

  530. these days with the world that we live in.

  531. It is a battle to keep our children in the straight and

  532. narrow way and keep our families and we have to sacrifice our

  533. time. We sacrifice our selfish

  534. desires, we sacrifice a lot of things.

  535. So that others Can enjoy the blessings of Heaven.

  536. We need to protect them. We need to save them.

  537. There are too many fiery darts that are being thrown out them

  538. today. And the devil wants them, they

  539. want these little children. They want these little babies.

  540. They want the mothers and they want the fathers.

  541. And if they've got you that got over Generations behind it, we

  542. need to fight fight the battle. Put on the whole armor of God

  543. and get busy as a soldier. For our families, Visions, 6,

  544. and verse 13. Take unto you.

  545. The whole armor of God that you can be able to stand against The

  546. Wiles of the devil. There's a reward for fighting

  547. the battles First. Timothy 6 and verse 12 fight the

  548. good fight of Faith. Lay hold on.

  549. Eternal, A life whereunto Thou Art also called and has

  550. professed a good profession before many witnesses.

  551. Also second Timothy 4 and verse 7 like seven through eight is

  552. Paul says I have fought a good fight.

  553. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith henceforth.

  554. There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.

  555. That's the reward, which the Lord has given me.

  556. Not unto me. Also not into me only but also

  557. all them that love his appearing.

  558. That's the reward for winning the battle.

  559. The reward George MacArthur said in war, there's no substitute

  560. for victory. There will be no substitute for

  561. victory, in Jesus. There is no other battle worth

  562. winning. There's no other battle in this

  563. life worth winning. You can gain all the way you can

  564. battle all your life, for all the money that you want to have,

  565. and you still lose. You can battle all this life to

  566. have the nicest house and still lose the battle, but there is

  567. nothing and no substitute for victory.

  568. In Jesus Christ, there's no substitute for victory, for our

  569. grandchildren and our children's Souls.

  570. There will be no substitute for the victory of witnessing, those

  571. who are once lost in sin being baptized into Christ for the

  572. remission of their sins. There is no substitute for that.

  573. Lastly, I want to read this. Pone.

  574. And there's no author attached to this.

  575. It says I am a soldier in the army of my God the Lord Jesus

  576. Christ. Is my commanding officer of the

  577. Holy Spirit, the holy scriptures is my code of conduct Faith

  578. prayer and the word are my weapons of warfare.

  579. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit trained by experienced

  580. Tried by adversity and tested by fire I'm a volunteer in this

  581. Army and I am enlisted for eternity.

  582. I will not get out sellout or be talked out.

  583. Or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable capable

  584. and dependable. If my God needs me, I'm there.

  585. I am a soldier. I'm not a baby.

  586. I do not need to be pampered. Petted trimmed up, pumped up.

  587. Picked up, or pepped up. I'm a soldier.

  588. No one has to call me. Remind me, write me.

  589. Visit me. Entice me or lure.

  590. Me, I'm a soldier. I'm not a wimp.

  591. I'm in place saluting my king obeying, his orders, praising

  592. his name and building his kingdom.

  593. No one has to send me flowers gifts, food cards, or candy or

  594. give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled

  595. cradled cared for or catered to I am committed.

  596. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around.

  597. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside at cannot lose

  598. enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me into his

  599. army, I have nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will

  600. still come out ahead. I will win my God has and will

  601. continue to supply all of my needs.

  602. I am no more than a conqueror. I will always Triumph, I can do

  603. all things through Christ. The devil cannot defeat me.

  604. People cannot delusion me whether cannot weary me.

  605. Sickness cannot, stop me battles.

  606. Cannot beat me. Money cannot buy.

  607. Buy me. Governments, cannot silence me

  608. and he'll cannot handle me. I am a soldier.

  609. Even death, cannot destroy me for when my commander calls me

  610. from his Battlefield. He will, he will promote me to

  611. Captain and then allow me to rule with him.

  612. I am a soldier in the Army and I'm marching claiming Victory.

  613. I will not give up. I will not turn around.

  614. I am a soldier marching heaven-bound here I stand.

  615. Will you stand with me? Let's be soldiers for the cross.

  616. It's not easy. It's a batter.

  617. Let's be a soldier for the cross and a soldier for our families

  618. and a soldier for our acquaintances.
