Pastor Josh here.
-
I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service
-
Baptist Church.
-
We're going to be continuing our sermon series in two corinthians.
-
We will be in two corinthians, chapter six.
-
And we're going to start in verse number three.
-
We're going to see what Paul says through the inspiration of scripture
-
Now, all of us are called to be ministers.
-
All of us are called to be ambassadors, as we saw in chapter
-
five.
-
And as ministers of the gospel, we have a message to preach
-
to the world.
-
We have a message to display to the world.
-
And so anytime we do something for God, we are called to be successful.
-
But the true test is what are we defining success as?
-
Is success, popularity?
-
Well, this passage of scripture is going to tell us, no,
-
No, the Bible says that there is going to be pain, there's going
-
to be struggles.
-
And so what Paul is going to describe here in this passage is
-
And how can we be faithful?
-
Well, we can be faithful through having patience or endurance.
-
And so we're going to look at this week what it means to be a Christian
-
to present ourselves faithful to God
-
Sometimes it's not easy to exercise endurance.
-
It's not easy to be patient.
-
But the Bible says that that is something that we must have in
-
God calls us to exercise that patience,
-
to that endurance, so that we can keep
-
So I encourage you to come out and learn from scripture what it
-
here today.
-
So I'll be praying for you, hope to see you this weekend.
-
If you're not able to be there in person, we will be replaying this
-
And also we'll be live streaming on YouTube and on Facebook.
-
Take care.
-
Have a wonderful weekend.
