Pastor Josh here.
-
I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service.
-
On November 24th here at Middletown Baptist Church.
-
We're going to continue our sermon series in Second Corinthians.
-
We're going to conclude two Corinthians Chapter seven.
-
Last week we looked at what real repentance is, biblically speaking.
-
And this week we're going to look at the results of biblical repentance.
-
We looked last week at the idea of how repentance brings revival.
-
And though we know that revival is something that we all
-
need, we also see here in the last few verses of chapter seven
-
that there are true results to biblical repentance.
-
And we're going to see that there's comfort.
-
We're going to see that there's joy.
-
We're going to see that there's refreshment, confidence.
-
And ultimately, what we're going to see here is that there is
-
an opportunity for us to rejoice in the Lord when true repentance
-
characterizes our life.
-
And so I encourage you to be here on Sunday morning, if you can,
-
at 10:30 as we continue this sermon series looking at Second Corinthians.
-
So we're going to look at the results of repentance.
-
If you're not able to be with us in person, we do a live stream
-
on YouTube and Facebook, or you can hear the replay of the sermon
-
on our podcast channel here on Monday mornings.
-
So we're so thankful that you've been following along with
-
us.
-
We encourage you to leave a review, maybe even share this podcast
-
channel with a friend or family member.
-
And we would love for you to continue to follow along with us
-
as we try to bring forth the truth and proclaim that truth to
-
our world.
-
So thank you so much for listening to this preview.
-
We pray that you have a wonderful weekend.
-
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you soon.
-
And we will be praying for this wonderful Thanksgiving holiday
-
coming up here soon.
-
And we just pray that you're safe.
-
We pray that you have a wonderful time with friends and family
-
and that you have an opportunity just to take some time
-
to give the Lord thanks for all the blessings that he has given
-
you in your life.
-
We hope you have a wonderful weekend.
-
We will talk to you on Sunday.
-
God bless.
