Discover the Gift: Join Us for 'The Grace Giver' Sermon!

I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service

on December 8th here at Middletown Baptist Church.

The title of the sermon is the Grace Giver.

We're going to look at 2 Corinthians, chapter 8, and what

2 Corinthians 8 · chapter mention

it means to give out of the abundance that God has blessed us

in.

You know, we've been gifted so much in the Lord.

Most specifically and most importantly, we've been gifted our

salvation.

And so the Bible teaches us that as we understand the grace of

God, as we understand the gift of God, we then understand that enough

to share that with others and that we can be a grace giver.

God is the greatest giver of grace.

But we also do know that as Christians, we can be grace givers

as well.

And so we're going to study that in 2 Corinthians, chapter 8

and the whole month of December here at Middletown Baptist

Church.

Our theme is gifts.

Now we're going to be talking about gifts that we can give, gifts

that we receive.

And we know that as Christians, we've received that greatest

gift in the gift of salvation.

And we're going to study that throughout this month.

And so I encourage you to be here with us in person if you can,

Christmas season and that you can celebrate this month of gifts

And we pray that as a Christian, you can understand what

it means to be a grace giver.

But also, if you have not trusted in that gift of grace, we

pray that you can understand what God told us when he said that

he loved us so much that he gave his only begotten Son, that

whosoever believes in him shouldn't perish but have everlasting

life.

And that's really what the Christmas season is all about, that

greatest gift given to us in Jesus Christ.
