  1. Pastor Josh here.

  2. I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service

  3. on December 8th here at Middletown Baptist Church.

  4. The title of the sermon is the Grace Giver.

  5. We're going to look at 2 Corinthians, chapter 8, and what

    2 Corinthians 8 chapter mention

  6. it means to give out of the abundance that God has blessed us

  7. in.

  8. You know, we've been gifted so much in the Lord.

  9. Most specifically and most importantly, we've been gifted our

  10. salvation.

  11. And so the Bible teaches us that as we understand the grace of

  12. God, as we understand the gift of God, we then understand that enough

  13. to share that with others and that we can be a grace giver.

  14. God is the greatest giver of grace.

  15. But we also do know that as Christians, we can be grace givers

  16. as well.

  17. And so we're going to study that in 2 Corinthians, chapter 8

    2 Corinthians 8 chapter mention

  18. and the whole month of December here at Middletown Baptist

  19. Church.

  20. Our theme is gifts.

  21. Now we're going to be talking about gifts that we can give, gifts

  22. that we receive.

  23. And we know that as Christians, we've received that greatest

  24. gift in the gift of salvation.

  25. And we're going to study that throughout this month.

  26. And so I encourage you to be here with us in person if you can,

  27. on Sunday at 10:30.

  28. You can make it here at 10:30 live.

  29. You can follow us online on YouTube and on Facebook, or you can

  30. listen to the podcast A Monday Morning as a replay.

  31. And so we hope that you can be a part of our services here in the

  32. Christmas season and that you can celebrate this month of gifts

  33. here at our church.

  34. And we pray that as a Christian, you can understand what

  35. it means to be a grace giver.

  36. But also, if you have not trusted in that gift of grace, we

  37. pray that you can understand what God told us when he said that

  38. he loved us so much that he gave his only begotten Son, that

  39. whosoever believes in him shouldn't perish but have everlasting

  40. life.

  41. And that's really what the Christmas season is all about, that

  42. greatest gift given to us in Jesus Christ.

  43. So we hope to see you there.

  44. We hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

  45. God bless you.

  46. We will talk to you soon.
