2025 Starts with the Gospel: Come Celebrate with Us

  1. Pastor Josh here.

  2. I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service

  3. on January 5th here at Middletown Baptist Church.

  4. This will be our first Sunday of 2025 and we are so excited to

  5. start another year together in service to the Lord.

  6. And we are going to be starting a three week series looking

  7. at the goals of a growing church.

  8. This week we're going to be talking about the goal of the Gospel.

  9. What does the gospel mean for the church?

  10. How are we supposed to interact with the gospel?

  11. What should we believe about the gospel?

  12. How can we share the gospel?

  13. These are all things that we're going to be looking at here

  14. this Sunday.

  15. And we want to launch our new year with a purpose.

  16. We want to launch the new year with excitement and that is all around

  17. the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  18. That's why we do what we do.

  19. That's why we worship on Sunday mornings.

  20. And so we encourage you to be on out here to Middletown Baptist

  21. Church at 10:30 this Sunday, we're going to be celebrating the

  22. gospel.

  23. We're going to be talking about how we as a church can have

  24. the goal of the gospel within our ministry here in this year.

  25. And so for the next three weeks, we're going to look at three

  26. different goals of a growing church.

  27. And I think that that'll be a blessing for all that are there.

  28. And we know that God has been so faithful to us over the years

  29. and we know that he will be faithful here in 2025.

  30. And so again, as always, we will be meeting here in person at

  31. 10:30 on Sunday.

  32. We'll be live streaming on YouTube and Facebook and we'll be

  33. posting this sermon on Sunday on Monday morning on our podcast

  34. channel.
