Exploring Loyalty in Love: A Preview of Pastor Josh Massaro's Upcoming Sermon

I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service

on February 22nd here at Middletown Baptist Church.

The title of the sermon is Loyalty in Love.

We're going to be looking at Second Corinthians chapter 11.

2 Corinthians 11 · chapter mention

We're going to see that Paul challenges the church in Corinth

in their loyalty.

Who are they loyal to?

The the question of loyalty when it comes to our relationship

with Christ is the loyalty of our love.

And God desires us as believers to be loyal to him in our

worship and our service and ultimately in our love.

And the way that we demonstrate our loyalty is through

love.

And the way that we demonstrate our love for the Lord

is through obedience, obedience to His Word, following

Him and his ways and trusting in his work of the Gospel.

So we're going to look at how we can be loyal to our Savior.

Savior the beauty of all of this is that we know that we can't

be perfectly loyal.

But as we understand in scripture, the Bible tells us that

even when we're not faithful, he is faithful.

So we can only be loyal because of the perfect loyalty and

the perfect faithfulness of our Savior.

So we're going to be celebrating that here this week in

second Corinthians chapter 11.
