  1. Pastor Josh Here.

  2. I would like to give you a preview of our Sunday morning service

  3. here at Middletown Baptist Church on March 23rd.

  4. We're going to be continuing our study here in Second Corinthians,

  5. and we're going to be in Second Corinthians, chapter 12.

    2 Corinthians 12 chapter mention

  6. And here this week, we're going to be looking at Paul's concern

  7. for the church at Corinth.

  8. But it's more than just concern in a negative way.

  9. It's what we would call compassionate concern.

  10. Paul is full of compassion for the church at Corinth, and his desire

  11. is to help them in their spiritual growth.

  12. And I think there's a lot of things that we can learn about here

  13. with Paul and his desire to have compassion for others and specifically

  14. those of the household of faith.

  15. And so come this week and you'll hear about Paul's compassionate

  16. concern.

  17. And maybe we can learn in the Word of God how we can have some

  18. concern and compassion for those around us and drive people

  19. to grow in the Lord and to demonstrate our compassion.

  20. And we're going to look at some of the ways that compassion

  21. is demonstrated.

  22. Paul is compassionate and demonstrates that through selfless

  23. service, he's compassionate and demonstrates that compassion

  24. through truthful teaching, through exhortation and through discipleship.

  25. And we're going to look at all those categories here this week.

  26. So if you're able to be with us in person, that would be fantastic

  27. here at Middletown Baptist Church at 10:30.

  28. If not, you can live stream it on YouTube and Facebook and we will

  29. repost it on our podcast channel here on Monday morning.

  30. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  31. Looking forward to hearing from you, seeing you, and hopefully

  32. God continues to grow you in your love for him.

  33. So we will talk to you soon.

  34. God bless.
