We want to welcome you on this first day as we open up the men's conference.

Let's give God a big hand.

We also want to celebrate all the ladies who showed up tonight.

This service doubles up as our Wednesday prayer service, but it happens that the first day of the conference starts on Wednesday, and so we want to welcome you, those online, those in-house.

This is a men's conference, but the ladies are very invited, even tomorrow and even on Friday.

Hallelujah, we have amazing speakers.

Our friend, reverend Kiyama, who is at River of God, will be here tomorrow.

Hallelujah.

Reverend Kimani will be here on Friday And Pastor Yeah, reverend Kimani, victor, okay, we'll be here on Sunday.

None other than Pastor Simon.

We'll be right here on this pulpit.

So we have a great shadow before us.

Connect online, connect in person, just connect, because you never know, the mantle may just fall on you.

Somebody missed that.

The mantle may just fall on you.

We thank God for the men's ministry and the opportunity they have given us to be able to enjoy this table that God has prepared for us.

We pray Our Father, we thank you and we glorify your name, because we know that nothing happens by accident That your God, who prepares every table for us to enjoy, to celebrate, to grow into, to launch out so that we're able to touch the lives of many.

In Jesus' name, we thank you, even as your servant opens this message today.

May your anointing flow and may your name be glorified as thy will is released among us.

Thank you for those watching us online and we bless them That the same anointing that is here will be the same anointing right where they are, to the glory of God.

So we love you, we appreciate you, we pray all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

Let me read the scriptures 2 Kings, chapter 2, verse 1 and 8.

2 Kings 2:1

And this is the story of Elisha and Elijah.

We're talking about reclaim your mantle through obedience.

Reclaim your mantle through obedience.

And it says when the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven.

In a whirlwind, elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

Elijah said to Elisha stay here.

The Lord has sent me to Bethel.

But Elisha said surely, as the Lord lives and as you live, i will not leave you.

So they went down to Bethel.

The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked do you know that the Lord is going to take Elijah's, is going to take your master from you today.

Yes, i know.

Elisha replied, so be quiet.

Then Elijah said to him stay here, elisha.

The Lord has sent me to Jericho.

And he replied surely, as the Lord lives and as you live, i will not leave you.

So they went to Jericho.

The company of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?

Yes, i know, he replied, so be quiet.

Then Elijah said to him stay here.

The Lord has sent me to the Jordan.

And he replied surely, as the Lord lives and as you live, i will not leave you.

So the two of them walked on.

Fifty men from the company of the prophets went and stood at a distance facing the place where Elijah and Elisha had stopped at the Jordan.

Elijah took his cloak, or, we some Bible say, his mantle, rolled it up, struck the water with it.

The water divided to the right and to the left And the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

When they had crossed, elijah say to Elisha tell me what can I do for you before I am taken from you?

Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.

And Elisha replied your vast or difficult thing.

Elijah said yet if you see me when I'm taken from you, it will be yours, otherwise it will not.

This is God's word And God's people said amen.

Tell your neighbor, the mantle is here.

I'll tell you, neighbor, god's spirit is here.

So let me define for us this mantle thing, because usually in our Christian vocabulary we don't always talk about mantles.

Now there are some churches that are serious about mantles Mantle this, mantle, that, mantle here, mantle there And yet this concept is a very unique concept And really, as we talk about men and I know the men's ministry are really challenging the men to take up their mantle, even if it is a mantle of leadership, the mantle of courage.

There are very many different kinds of mantles, but let me define the word mantle Ambrose, vajon, hallelujah.

So you won't find this in the dictionary, but this is what I wrote The mantle is the invisible, spiritual imputation of God That releases us for divine assignments which enable the kingdom of God to be advanced through us.

So let me repeat that again The mantle is the invisible, supernatural imputation of God that releases us.

For what?

For divine assignments.

So there's a purpose which enable these assignments, enable the kingdom of God to be advanced through us.

So one more time, because the other speakers will pick it from here, but this is the particular one I want you to get The mantle is the invisible, supernatural imputation of who Of God that releases us for divine assignments which enable the kingdom of God to be advanced through us.

Now let me read these verses from Fast Kings 19.

That's why we meet Elisha, verse 19, 1919.

The Bible says this Fast Kings 1919.

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha, son of Shaphat.

He was plowing with a 12 yoke of oxen and he himself was driving the 12th pair.

So there were 12 of them, there were pairs, and he's on the 12th one and he's behind it and he's plowing And himself was driving the 12th pair.

Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him.

Now I want you to see that picture.

He threw his cloak or threw his mantle around him.

Elisha then left his oxen, because Elijah did not explain anything but Simon, he just cast the thing.

Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah.

Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye, he said, and then I will come with you.

Go back.

Elijah replied what have I done to you?

Now, that's a very, you just need to understand that English.

And because you're telling Elisha you're thick, hello, you don't know what I've just done, you're thick.

And he's saying let me go say goodbye.

So Elijah left him and went back.

He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them.

How many of them?

How many?

Okay, let me read that scripture again.

Remember there are many pairs, 12 pairs.

So there are many oxen, huh, 24.

A lot of value sacrificed.

So Elijah left and went back.

He took his yoke of oxen, slaughtered them.

He banned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people And they ate.

Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

That is how we meet Elisha.

So when Elijah was looking for this mantle, it was a lot of sacrifice.

It was a lot of saying forget the past.

I'm going into the future, hallelujah.

And as I talk to men, you know what it means to get every means of your support and burn it up and then share it with the people and just follow this man whom you have no idea.

The only idea you have is that he eats locusts and dips them in honey.

Hello, pastor, simon, if that was you.

For Pastor Simon it's not an issue of locusts and honey.

All he needs is to find somebody who is eating boiled maize.

That one will trigger so many things in his life That one he'll follow no matter where he goes.

It was so funny, pastor Simon.

I saw a picture when you went to Cameroon, you and Pastor Masheena and Pastor Kimani in a car eating roasted maize.

How do you go all the way to Cameroon To eat roasted maize?

But Pastor Simon loves maize, roasted, boiled, whatever.

For Elijah locusts dipped in honey, like I imagine.

Elijah is really taking a jump and I'm going to show you that this thing of obedience is not easy.

And let me say this also that mantles don't just show up and this conference may come and go and none of you will get the mantle.

Hello, you'll not get the mantle because Elijah was just minding his own business and, out of nowhere, somebody throws a mantle on him and something stares in him.

He runs after this guy and then he goes back, sells everything and then he follows him, and then you don't hear anything about Elijah.

In First Kings, you just hear about Elijah sorting out, ahab dealing with Jezebel.

All is just going on.

Then in Second Kings, elijah in chapter one is making people blind.

Hello, and who is following him, seeing all these things?

Lysha.

Nothing is mentioned.

Lysha is just following him.

Lysha is just following him.

He became a servant, washing his feet.

And sometimes people want to get the anointing.

They want to get the mantle so fast, and yet they don't know how much was paid for it.

You don't know how much Elijah paid for that mantle.

You don't know what he went through.

You don't know the depression he went in when he wanted him to die.

And then you want his mantle.

So when, when Elijah comes and says I want a double portion of your anointing You know Elijah was looking at him He says you want double of what I've gone through.

I've gone through bad stuff serving this God.

But Elijah says Elijah says I am sold out.

Hello, i'm sold out.

I've nowhere to go.

Cows, oxen, slaughtered, plows burnt up.

It is you I'm looking at And that will bring me to be able to bring, to show you how obedience, what obedience does.

Because let me tell you this God has great things in store for you.

Hallelujah, god has so much in store for you.

You remember the story of the disciples And one time.

You know they were asking that, the brothers.

They were asking You remember they asked you remember the brothers.

They asked you.

Let me sit on this side.

And then let me also sit on this side.

And then Jesus says you don't know what you're asking.

Are you able to drink the cup?

I'll drink.

Are you able to be baptized with that kind of baptism I'll be baptized with.

So this thing of reclaiming your mantle through obedience is not very easy, you know.

You don't just claim it.

There are things and I'm going to give you five things.

But before I do that, by the way, let me just tell you the various mantles that are there And then I'll tell you who has those mantles.

The mantle of favor the person who carried that mantle was Joseph Hallelujah.

I would have used ladies here.

Please have picked one for the ladies, especially for those who are here.

Thank you, jesus.

So you have the mantle of favor.

That is Joseph.

Another person, if it is a lady who had the mantle of favor, is Esther Hallelujah.

Favor just open.

She opened doors of favor.

So the mantle of favor Joseph.

The mantle of courage Joshua.

Remember that story, be strong and courageous.

The mantle of leadership Moses.

The mantle of power.

Elijah, the mantle of discernment for the ladies, dibora, hallelujah.

The mantle of worship.

David, the mantle of wisdom.

Solomon, the mantle of blessing.

Abraham, the mantle of prosperity.

Isaac, the mantle of success.

Elijah, the mantle of organization and implementation.

But, simon, can you guess who that is?

Don't say it.

Who, daniel?

Okay, yeah, that's one.

But I put here Nehemiah.

Okay, the mantle of organization and implementation.

How he was able to get the walls built in 52 days.

It was done.

Then there's a mantle of statesmanship.

Now that one is.

Now who Is Daniel The mantle of mission?

I put there Apostle Paul.

He was on the go, on the go.

He is the one who used to say I'm not ashamed of the gospel, it's the power of God unto salvation.

One time he was stoned, he died, went to heaven, came back into his body, stood up and went to missioning.

You cannot stop that guy.

So there are these mantles.

Now Joseph is not here for you to go looking for that mantle of favor.

You cannot find that mantle of favor.

Joseph is not around, elijah is not around, moses is not around.

I'm saying all this to say this All these mantles had a source, and that source was the Holy Spirit.

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you according to Acts 1.8, you shall receive power.

When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, then the Holy Spirit manifests the different mantles that I've talked about in different people's lives.

Mantles are not just given, mantles are attracted.

So let me say that one more time.

You see Elijah.

Elijah is just there plowing, plowing, plowing, and then boom, something hits him.

Now, elijah was not dishing out mantles, just like that.

Something attracted what he was carrying and it was in Elijah.

And maybe Elijah, while he's plowing, he's just sitting there saying God, i love you, god, i appreciate you.

There's no God like you.

You are awesome, god.

I say God, may.

I see Elijah just passing by and God, whatever he has, i need it, hello.

And so with that kind of hunger the Bible says blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

While you're in that state of hunger, in that state of thirst, in that state of desire, you attract mantles from the Holy Spirit.

Boom, and they just hit you.

Hello, they just hit you.

And so mantles are not chosen, you don't see, they are said heavenly Father, the mantle of favor, it's what I want for us Other guys.

Me, i want the mantle of power.

You know, mantles are not just chosen.

Let me read this verse Romans, chapter one, verse 11.

Paul is saying this about impartation.

That's what I was talking about the invisible, supernatural impartation of God.

So he says this I long to see you so that I may do what I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong.

Let me read it in the New King James Version.

And Paul is saying hey, you Romans, there's something I want to release into your lives, but you're not attracting it.

There's no magnet inside you.

He's saying, for I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift so that you may be established.

Hallelujah.

Another verse, second, timothy, chapter one, paul talking to Timothy.

He says this in verse six and seven All right, and this is just teaching, because something amazing is going to happen to you.

For some of you, while I'm talking, the Spirit is just going to cover you, amen.

He says.

Therefore, i remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

There is an imputation.

There is a mantle, but it is all sourced or regioned in the Holy Spirit And that is why you don't have to look for people to give you an imputation.

You just need to have such a hunger for God and you begin to attract those kinds of people to you.

Hallelujah, there is an anointing and a mantle on Pastor Ambrose that causes people to be attracted here, and it's because those people are also hungering and thirsting for a particular thing and it is housed in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is housed in Ambrose.

Are you neatering this?

You better give God a big hand.

And so people come.

Sometimes they don't know, they don't know why they ever came to Parkland.

They were just passing by, they didn't know, they just found themselves.

I remember one time somebody was driving going to another church, alaphopo Museum.

They used to be around about Other museums they were going, they just pig out around about and came back and landed here, ended up being members of Parkland Baptist Church, god using them in a tremendous way.

You see, god knows what you're hungering for, god knows what you're thirsting for and God knows who is carrying that mantle And God will take you to that person, because that person is not dishing out mantles, he's just serving God.

He's just filled with God to an overflow And you're drinking from the overflow.

Let me tell you this many people drink from my overflow.

I never get empty.

I can't, because you're just.

It is.

The cup is full, it's overflowing.

There's a saucer under it.

You're drinking from the saucer.

The cup is always full.

I cannot be emptied.

Thank you, jesus, because I'm not pouring the cup to you.

I'm not turning the cup and pouring to you.

No, above the cup is a tap.

The tap is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit just fills the cup.

It overflows.

Others drink from the overflow.

So may God, may you sit under the cup, under the tap of the Holy Spirit, so that you're not drained out.

Some of us are running around pouring whatever we have into people's lives.

We are pouring, pouring, pouring.

My friend, it reaches a time when you are totally empty.

Stop running around pouring things into people's lives.

Just stay under the tap of the Holy Spirit.

Get him a mug or two in a jar in overflow and others now drink from the overflow.

That's what happened to Elisha, as he was just in the vicinity of Elisha and this clock was thrown on him.

But then, after that, something began to tick in.

Elisha says there is more than what has just been given to me.

And that's what now we are talking about reclaim, reclaim this mantle.

What are you going to do to have more of what God has given you?

Because, let me tell you this, there's more in God.

I'm talking to men now.

I'm saying there's more in God, there's much more.

Right now, your cup is just a quarter way and you're struggling.

You know, if I shake this thing, if I shake it enough, because it's not very full If I shake it, let me open it, of course, what is in here, the margin and the, that's what is here, somewhere around here, if I shake it you see, i'm just shaking it Now I have to shake quite a bit for it to do what.

Now, some of you are like that somebody has to shake you thoroughly For even a little to do what To come out.

That's why some of you pray too much.

You just, if this thing was full, i don't have to shake it, i just have to move it a bit and there's what It pours out.

Look at your neighbor.

Just look at your neighbor and find out.

Are they filled quarter way?

Just shake them a bit.

Just shake them a bit.

Pastor Simon, have you ever been in a service where people have to be psyched to sing?

You people are not clapping your hands.

You people, you better clap your hands.

Come on now.

You didn't take breakfast, allah, what is wrong with you?

And you find this worship leader is really having a problem because those who showed up left home without worship, expecting to meet worship in church.

You better come from home filled with worship By the time you arrive here.

It is just an overflow.

Come on, somebody better give God a big hand.

So may you not be shaken.

Some of you need to be.

You don't need to be shaken.

It's too much effort.

And then you don't need to shake yourself.

I'm talking, there are some people who need that.

You know those Until the rich are stage, and now they're so psyched and then they're screaming, they're shouting because they are not full.

May you be full to an overflow.

And that cup that is full to an overflow sometimes it doesn't even be shaken, just stand still.

The overflow is just going, hallelujah.

But now I want to summarize these things in five points that I want you to remember very clearly.

The first one is this obedience you're going to reclaim your mantle through.

Number one obedience that is released by desire.

That's number one.

Number two obedience that is triggered by association.

Three, obedience that is empowered by the word.

Four, obedience that is focused by faith.

And number five obedience that is demonstrated by action.

Number one obedience that is released by what Desire.

Now, that word desire is so key in this whole message today, because if you don't desire something, you won't get it.

That is why the desire in Elijah attracted Elijah to show up.

And then his desire continued And he started following this man everywhere he went, because he knew something is in his life.

Let me read the first two verses in 2 Kings, chapter two, verse one, you will find that there was another group called the company of prophets And Pastor Simon, that company of prophets is some of the most saddest companies in the world.

Hello.

In New King James version it says the sons of the prophets.

This one.

It says the company of prophets.

Now look at this, see their desire, compare their desire.

And it came to pass when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind.

But Elijah went with Elijah from Gilgal.

Then Elijah said to Elijah stay here Now he was testing his desire.

He says stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.

But Elijah said as the Lord lives and as your soul lives, i will not leave you.

That means there's a desire.

You tell me this, but I'm not accepting what you're saying.

I'll follow you.

So they went down to Bethel.

Now the sons of the prophets, this one, these sons, now put it in the New King James, not New King James NIV, because it talks about a company.

This company It reminds me of Unga Limited that company, the company of the prophets at Bethel, came out to Elijah and asked do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?

You see, now they know that this guy is about to be shifted, but they don't desire what he has.

They're just releasing knowledge.

And their prophets, who all they want is releasing information, do you know this?

Do you know that?

But they don't have power.

You can be a prophet with zero power.

This same guy is Pasa Simon.

The reason why it was a sad company is in chapter six.

They want to build their tents, they want to increase their houses.

Then one of the prophets borrows an axe, and you know the story.

Then, another time, the water is contaminated.

They come to Elijah and say oh, the water is contaminated.

What do we do?

Elijah has to be doing this thing and yet all that power was theirs.

So let go back.

Desire, tell your neighbor.

Desire, go back to that chapter very quickly because I'm going to go through the others very fast.

Desire, because you need desire, that white-hot desire.

The company of the professor Bethel came out to Elijah and asked do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?

And Elijah says yes, i know.

And then he says so be quiet.

In other words, let me meditate about this.

I have a desire you people don't have.

You have information.

I want power.

Hello, i want more.

So there's this desire Give me back that scripture there.

So, and they said it several times Yes, i know.

Elijah replied so be quiet, verse 4, then Elijah said to him stay here, elijah.

The Lord has sent me to Jericho again.

And he replied as surely as the Lord leaves and as you leave, i will not leave you.

So they went to Jericho.

The company of the prophets, this company.

Again tell your neighbor, i hope you don't belong to that company of prophets.

The company of the prophets are Jericho.

There are many.

They were here, they are there very many places.

And, by the way, some of these prophets were raised up by who?

By Elijah.

That's what I'm saying.

It would be a sad day if those people who come to Parkland's Baptist Church end up in hell, because Pastor Ambrose has given you everything you need.

You cannot go to hell.

I'm claiming all of you for heaven In Jesus' name.

We must, all of us, all of us go to heaven.

We must extend this prayer service in heaven so that we have a corner in heaven for Parkland's Baptist Church members.

Hello, you included, and all of you those are watching us online.

We have to be in heaven.

Don't go to hell.

Hell was not created for you.

Hell was created for the angels, for the demons and all those who disobeyed God.

The company of the prophets, jericho, went up to Elijah and asked him do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?

Yes, i know he replied, so be quiet.

Then Elijah said to him stay here.

The Lord has sent me to Jordan.

And he replied as surely as the Lord lives, as you live, i will not leave you.

So the two of them moved on.

It was interesting that that company, you know they kept going until it was not only Elijah and Elijah, just two of them.

Desire, tell your neighbor desire.

But number two, obedience.

Not only do you need obedience that is released by desire, you need obedience that is triggered by association.

Tell your neighbor association And the the.

The statements I've read actually is that Elijah was associating with who?

Elijah, that association?

Happen, happen, happen.

He goes left.

Elijah goes left.

Elijah goes left, goes forward, he goes forward That association.

Let me tell you this who you associate with will affect you, will influence you.

Who you spend time with during the whole week will influence you.

And for us, we are not talking about people, we are talking about the Holy Spirit.

May you associate daily with the Holy Spirit.

Happen, happen, happen, happen Sometimes, but the same one.

The Holy Spirit is gentle.

You saw how Joe was singing Now.

Tomorrow it may be very different.

Today Joe was just quiet, kneeling, polo, polo, polo, polo, because sometimes the river just flows gently, then their turn on the river is rushing, but it is the same river.

So tomorrow, i don't know who is singing tomorrow, but they may sing as I can be, but it is the same spirit, same river, and sometimes you have a river that is quiet and sometimes you're just worshipping God quietly and you're just thanking God.

That's the spirit of God.

He is just there.

It's a silent, quiet river.

Then there are those times when you're worshipping God, suddenly you enter into another gear, which is a very different gear, and you're wondering what is happening And you start screaming and shouting and jumping And you're trying to be quiet but you're not quiet.

You're just on another side of a river And sometimes but the same one it is so loud, it is so rushing, it is on a waterfall.

It's on a waterfall like the Victoria Falls makes sound every day at the waterfall.

If you go on that river, who could you?

It's just quiet, quiet, but the time it hits the waterfall, it is, it is crashing sound.

The Holy Spirit is like that.

So when associate with Him, mantles fall.

When you associate with Him, when it is calm, when it is exciting, when it is melodious, when it is a shout, when it is just a song, associate with God.

There are pastors who, when the Holy Spirit is in their lives, they're gentle pastors.

They don't shout.

One person who was like that is a pastor of the redeemed Christian gospel, reverend Adeboe.

Adeboe is a very gentle person.

I mean gentle, and I remember going to the US in the year 2006 and he was one of the speakers.

Just gentle, he just talks, just talks, he just talks.

My friend, i was sitting in that meeting as he was just talking and talking Where I was sitting and I had told God, god, i've not come to the US just to sight see, i've come to the US to catch something.

I had a desire.

It was a big conference.

What will you come a kooja out with?

We were many people from everywhere Celebrating whatever 100 years since Azusa broke out.

So Bonke was there, right at Bonke, when he was still alive, my friend Bonke, hey, it was a rushing, mighty river.

And when he preachers, he preachers with so much strength and so much psych and in the middle he says aye And everybody enters into that aye and they just aye, they just feel the spirit is moving.

Then Adeboe comes.

He's just speaking, quietly and gently.

Oh, you're sitting there saying the spirit is not here, because you expect the spirit to be moving, but he's just talking.

But as he was talking and I'm sitting there and I'm listening, the presence of God landed on me, just like that Boom, and God's voice spoke into my heart.

And it's, and God said Ambrose, when you go back to Kenya, i want you to release Parkland Baptist Church.

Into my hands And in my head I say no, no, no, no, no, no, no, i'm not going to do that, not resigning, that is 2006.

I'm not resigning And Adeboe is just talking, but as he's talking, there's another voice talking to me And God is saying release Parkland Baptist Church.

Release Parkland Baptist Church Because, let me tell you this, when Elisha, at the end and I'm going to show you that, when that mantle fell, the Bible says Elisha tore his clothes in two.

He had to let go something to receive something.

You don't put the mantle on top of your limitations.

Tear it apart, throw it and then pick.

Now this time he picked the mantle.

Before that it was thrown on him.

But it comes a time when God says now you pick what you want, hallelujah.

And so I'm just telling you about the rushing and the gentleness.

And so when that happened and Adeboe was giving an altar call, i didn't go in front.

It is embarrassing for pastors to be seen going for the altar call.

They are the ones who receive people.

But where I was, the spirit was And something landed on my life and things shifted.

That was the year 2006.

It was the theme the year of the Lord's increase.

And, pastor Simon, when I came back here and I announced to church that Parkland Baptist Church was no longer mine, i had handed it over to God, god broke the limits And people started coming to Parkland from everywhere And God knew if Ambrose was going on with his own issues and his own mindset.

When these people would start coming in, ambrose would think it is because of him.

So I needed to get that out of my way and allow the Holy Spirit to show up.

I'm saying there's a mantle that is about to come on you And there's some things that you have to remove.

And God is saying here is this you know, obedience.

You need obedience that is triggered by association.

You need to associate with a particular kinds of people, and the WA was one of them.

There was another one who was from Columbia, a pastor from Columbia, and Pastor Simon, that pastor, when he was speaking, he's the one who dropped another mantle in my life and is the mantle of multiplication.

Bill Winston showed up and I was not able to go there but I got one of the men from this church.

I said you go to that conference and whatever books he has bring them.

And he told me Ambrose, i'm going to get you as many books as you want.

Winston would go, his books would stay, but I knew the annoying thing was in the books.

If you want to associate with Ambrose because sometimes getting Ambrose is not easy just associate with one of his books.

Sit down with his book 24-7.

That is your appointment.

Hello, who do you associate with?

Elijah and Elijah stayed until they just remained two of them.

Let me read verse six and then I'll tie the rest for us.

Are you catching something?

I'm preparing the path, for the other pastors will show up because they will run with what I'm saying today.

The Bible says this.

Then Elijah said to him stay here.

The Lord has sent me to the Jordan.

And he replied as surely as the Lord lives and as you leave, i will not leave you.

So now there are how many?

The two of them walked on, but 50, tell your neighbor, this company is a bad company.

50 men from the company of the prophets went and stood at a distance.

Can you imagine the desire?

They have no desire.

They stood at a distance, facing the place where Elijah and Elisha had stopped at the Jordan, and Elijah took his clock, rolled it up and struck the water with it.

The water divided the right, to the right and to the left and the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

When they had crossed and Elijah said to Elisha tell me now, now they are just the two of them on the other side.

He now told him tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken away from you?

He said let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.

And he said what you're asking is not very easy, so tell your neighbor.

Association The first one was desire.

The next one is triggered by association.

Then, thirdly, obedience is empowered by the word.

And there's something that Elijah said that it empowered this gentleman.

That's what he said.

Verse seven and nine and ten Listen what he said.

50 men go to the next verse, please.

Verse eight Elijah took his clock.

Go to the next verse so that I can tie this up, all right.

When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha tell me what can I do for you before I'm taken from you.

Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.

He replied.

Now, elijah, this is what he said.

You have asked a difficult thing, elijah said.

Yet if you see me when I'm taken from you, it will be yours, Otherwise it will not.

The word Tell your neighbor the word.

So something was said, and now that's what empowered Elisha to make sure that he was not going to lose focus from this guy.

There are things that God has promised you in you, in God's word.

Locate yourself in that word.

Stay there until that word manifests Every place your food trades upon.

I have given it to you.

You want to be prosperous?

Just look for a verse that talks about prosperity and then pox yourself there.

Stay there until it happens, because the word will come to pass, hallelujah.

But let me go to the fourth one, because this is important.

The fourth one is obedience that is focused by faith.

Verse 11 and 12.

The Bible says this.

As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them And Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

Elijah saw this and cried out My Father, my Father, the chariots and the horsemen of Israel.

And Elijah saw him no more.

In other words, pastor Simon, elijah had told this guy you better keep your eyes open.

If you see the chariots, what you're asking I'll give If you don't see them.

And remember, this thing happened suddenly, suddenly.

So the guy had to be awake.

So look at your neighbor.

Tell your neighbor be awake in the spirit.

If they were not awake in the, maybe some of them were asleep, but it's always nice to sleep in church because it's full of peace.

So if your neighbor was sleeping.

They were not bored, they were just enjoying the peace of the Lord that passes all understanding, that causes people to sleep in church.

Tell your neighbor, amen.

But you have to be awake in the spirit so that God can move any moment.

That's why today, tomorrow, friday and Sunday, keep alert, because you're going to see something.

When you see it, it is your potion, take it, run with it, hallelujah.

And maybe I'm saying something.

And something just moved, something shifted.

There is a clock, there is a mantle that the Holy Spirit just threw you through towards you.

Don't let it pass.

And tell your neighbor, if so, and so was here.

This is their message.

No, it is, you are here.

This is your message.

Don't duck, tell your neighbor.

Don't duck.

Hallelujah, this is for you.

Let me ask somebody how many of you do really want the mantle to fall on them?

You have a desire, amen, i'm included.

And the mantle?

it's a mantle of the Holy Spirit, but it manifests itself in different ways.

And who attracts it?

Who attracts it?

You do.

Sometimes it is attracting it in your business, attracting it in the marketplace, attracting it in your just normal jobs, attracting you in ministry, attracting you.

You attract it in the various places you are.

So you don't have to be a pastor to get a mantle B'anasifi weh.

And so keep your faith alert.

The Bible says look unto Jesus, the author and the perfecter of your faith.

Keep your faith alert, keep focused, because something is going to happen to you suddenly, when it happens.

Faith is the assurance of things hopeful, being convinced of things you do not see.

You're able to see them, you capture it, you run with it.

It is your portion, and the rest of the 50 company of prophets look at you and admire your miracle.

And yet it was yours, it was theirs.

So tell your neighbor, do not be part of the 50 company of prophets.

Tell your neighbor you must have a testimony in Jesus' name.

And number five, as I tie this up, is obedience that is demonstrated by action.

When you get the mantle, what are you going to do with it?

Some people get a mantle and they just want to walk around being admired.

I have a mantle, you know I have this anointing.

No, the anointing is not for you to just keep on to admire.

Look at these next verses, verse 13 and 14.

The Bible says this Elijah then picked up Elijah's clock.

And, by the way, because sometimes we see movies.

You know, kitambo, i used to think When the chariots came because they came between Elijah and Elijah.

They came between them and then Elijah was taken and Elijah grabbed.

As Elijah was being taken, the guy just grabbed Elijah's mantle.

That never happened.

Tell your neighbor, that is in the movies.

He never grabbed anything.

All he was told is when you see me, then you shall have it.

The mantle actually fell and Elijah had to do what Pick it.

In other words, the mantle is at close range.

Tell your neighbor, you don't have to jump.

Tell your neighbor, it is at close range.

It's closer than you can imagine.

Are you listening to me?

You know, some people make this mantle thing so difficult to get.

When the spirit releases it, it is at close range.

It is for you to pick it.

So let me read that.

Elijah then picked up Elijah's clock that had done what Fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

Now this is important.

Look at verse 14.

He did something with the mantle.

The Bible says in verse 14, he took the clock that had fallen from Elijah and did what Struck the water with it.

Where had he seen that happen?

He saw it happen.

Elijah did it.

He also did it, and then he said this He struck the water with it.

Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah, he asked.

When he struck the water, he divided to the right and to the left and he crossed over and then he met this company, this company of people.

I feel very bad about this company.

I am saying may you not be part of that company?

Spectators of the demonstrations of God.

God wants you to be part of the demonstration Hallelujah, the company of the prophets from Jericho who are watching.

They are watching.

You can imagine people who watch football between Liverpool and Arsenal.

They are amazing experts at football.

How could that person have missed it?

he was just next to yeah, you're a goalkeeper.

Yeah, you're a goalkeeper, yeah, you're a goalkeeper.

And what was that all?

Yeah, you're a goalkeeper.

What were we living Big ampeer?

I kind of do What, what, what, what is this?

You, if you are taken to that football pitch, you do not know the dynamics that happen in pitch.

You are only a spectator.

So look at your neighbor, including myself.

We are spectators And they're sitting here, expert.

They have never gone to practice, never been on the soccer field, they have not never hit a ball, but I'm telling you, they are experts, the company of the prophets from Jericho who are watching.

Listen to what they said.

The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.

And they went to meet him and bow to the ground before him.

Look, they said we, your servants, have 50 able men.

Let them go and look for your master.

Can you imagine how they are?

they are going from bad to us.

They don't know.

This guy went to heaven.

They knew he was going to be taken.

The spirit of the Lord has picked him up.

Set him down on some mountain or in some valley.

Elisha says no, do not send them.

But they persisted until he was too embarrassed to refuse.

So he said send them.

And they sent this man who searched for three days But did not find him.

When they returned to Elisha, who was staying in Jericho, he said to them didn't I tell you not to go?

May you not be part of that.

And then they had a problem.

You know they are a problem.

The people of the city said to Elisha look, our Lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is what Is bad.

So, in Jesus' name, tell your neighbor, i'm not part of that company.

Tell your neighbor I'm going to desire, i'm going to associate, i'm going to be empowered, i'm going to be focused And I'm going to take action.

I pray that when that anointing falls on you, take action, take that cloak and heat that water and say where is the God of Ambrose?

Boom, yes, where is the God of Pastor Simon?

Where is the God of the people who are your mentors?

Where is the God of Adeboye?

Where is the God of?

and I'm telling you, the waters will open up for you And then those spectators will become your servants.

Stand on your feet, i'm done.

Reclaim the mantle.

Did you learn something?

So get time to reread that story.

It's an amazing story.

But remember, one of the things I emphasized at the beginning was obedience that is released by desire.

Have desire This week.

Have that desire that the mantle of God will be manifested in your life.

You will attract it.

It will come.

It doesn't matter how the situation is in your house, at your workplace, wherever you are, the Holy Spirit is still ready to bless those who are hungering and testing.

Jesus said if you hunger and thirst for righteousness, come and drink out of your innermost being with flow, rivers of living water.

May it start tonight.

I'm saying may it start tonight, and so those watching online, may that river flow your way in a big way Desire.

The other thing I was talking about is associate Read their books, be where they are, listen to what they do, start doing what they do, work with them.

Forget about this company, hello.

They love fellowships.

That's all they do.

They don't do anything else.

A fellowship Agree about this scripture?

Where did Cain get his wife?

All those things?

How does that help you?

Get the mantle and take action, for you have not received the spirit of fear, but the spirit of power, the spirit of love and the spirit of a sound mind.

Be empowered by the word of God, be focused by faith, keep alert in your faith And remember this.

Take action, amen.

Take action Between Pastor Simon and the Conjo.

Their action will be very different Because they're different And the Holy Spirit works differently in their lives And they have different assignments.

Hallelujah, tell your neighbor.

You have an assignment to fulfill in Jesus' name.

Earlier I had said the mantle is the invisible, supernatural impartation of God that releases us for divine assignments which enable the kingdom of God to be advanced through us.

May that be your portion And for some of you it happens suddenly, it will just happen suddenly.

But then for some of us we have to desire until we reach the point where we pick that mantle and then take action.

In Jesus' name.

Those of you watching online, even as I talk to the Holy Spirit, the mantle may just be thrown to you Where it is close enough for you to pick it up, right.

Holy Spirit, you are in this service.

All these mantles find their source in you.

No wonder Jesus said you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

I don't know what mantle you are attracting.

The Holy Spirit will only give you what you attract.

Is it the mantle of wisdom?

Is it the mantle of power?

Is it the mantle of organization and implementation?

Which mantle is it that is close to your heart?

It's your desire.

The mantle of missions, the mantles of breakthrough, leadership?

what mantle is this?

Only you can determine, because it is you attracting it.

So, holy Spirit, i know you're among us, somebody is online, somebody is right here, and inside their heart there is a desire which is bubbling out.

The Holy Spirit, as I pray, come upon your people, prepare your people.

Just like you came upon Elisha suddenly, and then he reached a place where now he could make up his mind and say I'll pick up the mantle.

Lord, as we begin this service, as we begin this man's week, i'm releasing your presence.

Like Elijah released that mantle to Elisha And he went home and made a choice to follow Elijah wherever he was going, and so I'm going to count from 5 to 0.

When I do that the Holy Spirit, his presence, will be released upon you and you will carry that mantle into this week, and then God will show you exactly what assignment he has in store for you.

Yes, just be still.

The Holy Spirit is here.

2, and you'll sense it on you.

I release the Holy Spirit.

Let that cloak wrap itself around you, let that presence wrap itself around you.

Yes, you can sense it, hallelujah.

It's just the beginning of the journey, but take that cloak around you, take it.

Take it, thank you Jesus.

And that anointing will teach you, that anointing will reveal God's purpose for you during this man's week and even in the days to come.

Upstairs, somebody has just experienced that touch of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Downstairs, i can sense the move of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

That anointing is passing through.

It's passing through Just you.

Receive it in your heart.

Just say, lord, i take it, i take it, i wrap it around me.

Father, we love you, we praise you, we honor you.

Receive all the glory, receive all the praise.
