-
People and your father's household to the land I will show you.
-
I'll make you into a great nation and I will bless you.
-
I will make your name great and you will be a blessing.
-
I will bless those who bless you and whoever castes you.
-
I will curse and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
-
So Abram went as the Lord had told them, and Lord went with him.
-
Abram was 75 years old.
-
That's to remind us, it's never, never, it's never late.
-
When he set out from Haran, he took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan.
-
And they arrived there.
-
We shall also read together Psalm 22, verse 27 and verse 28.
-
These are the theme scriptures for the year Psalm 22, verse 27, 28.
-
Let's read this together All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord.
-
Let's let's start all over again.
-
Verse 27 together All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all dominion of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.
-
Father, in Jesus' name, i thank you for the scriptures we have just read.
-
Thank you for the spirit, your spirit, who is here, who helps us through with the scriptures and understanding of the same and God.
-
As we are gathered as a family, those who are here, those in the pavilion and those in the diaspora following this service, we ask that you indeed speak to us and bless us.
-
Together, in Jesus' name, we pray and we all say amen, we may have our seats.
-
Let me say I appreciate all of us who are here.
-
I know there are those who are here with us visiting from some other countries.
-
You're welcome.
-
I'm a junior.
-
I've seen you visiting with us from the United States and we are a family and I really appreciate every one of us.
-
Let me remind us that each one of us is special.
-
If you turn to the person next to you today, i want to say I love you today.
-
Tell them you're special.
-
I find that easy, isn't it?
-
All right, great, and, like Pastor Ambrus puts it, you are looking good, better than yesterday and tomorrow, and then, and then, and then shiny, shiny, and then we are shades.
-
I have mine already.
-
And so let me say to the fathers, my fellow fathers, happy fathers day.
-
Now, yes, let's give a hand to the Lord again.
-
Fathers, we bless you.
-
Pastor Kennedy has reminded me that we had a baptism yesterday where we had a hundred people.
-
That's the biggest number we've ever had in one baptism.
-
It has happened, hallelujah.
-
We are breaking baptism records A hundred yesterday.
-
And in case you're here, your baptize yesterday, would you stand?
-
We just want to acknowledge you.
-
Some of you are in the pavilion.
-
The people there will appreciate you, those who got baptized yesterday.
-
Would you stand?
-
Yes, we have some upstairs.
-
Keep standing, keep standing.
-
Yes, we have quite a number right here and here and right there.
-
Let's give a better hand to the Lord and appreciate.
-
Thank you, thank you, god bless you May have your seats After this service.
-
There are gift items that are there available in the tent.
-
This church has creatives and we have a creatives ministry, so they have put together gifts that we can share on fathers day.
-
So please pass by their gift for somebody.
-
It's a day to just celebrate one another.
-
Now we've had the men's conference.
-
This one started on Wednesday with Reverend Ambrose opening the gates, sharing on the subject reclaiming the mantle.
-
And then on Thursday evening, we had Bishop Tony Kiamma from River of God sharing on establishing the mantle.
-
Then, on Friday evening, from six, we had Pastor Victor Kimani, our mission's pastor, sharing on engaging engaging the mantle.
-
And I am here sharing on restoring the mantle, restoring the mantle of obedience through family.
-
All these messages are available online so you can connect, and they are very, very powerful messages that have come across.
-
Let me appreciate the men's ministry for organizing this conference and raising the altar since Wednesday, and we've been gathered here every evening.
-
It's just been wonderful.
-
And so, chris Mark, with Udestand and the leaders of men's ministry of Udestand, let's appreciate these people.
-
They were here in the first service.
-
Yes, chris is here.
-
Yes, joe, the deacon is here We thank God for you.
-
And together with them is a pastor responsible for family, pastor Felista and her husband.
-
You stand, both of you.
-
They are right here.
-
Let's appreciate this couple.
-
Thank you, god bless you, amen.
-
On the subject restoring the mantle of obedience through family.
-
Family is an important platform and family is a platform that was started by God many, many years ago, and we thank God that we share the fruits of family over the seasons and ages, and we are all products of family in one way or the other, and restoring the mantle of obedience through family is critical.
-
In our day and time, mantle refers to a garment or a robe Like now a mantle inside this coat, and so a mantle is something that wraps you in, it's like an envelope, and so when we talk about a mantle, it means something that covers you and covers all of us.
-
And the mantle of obedience if I may compare it with a fabric or a gown, you know I would say that somewhere in the beginning was messed up.
-
This mantle got torn in the book of Genesis when Adam and Eve sinned because they failed to observe some very, very simple basic instructions, and because of that failure, we call it disobedience to the instructions of God.
-
Then, the consequences of the tearing or the breaking or the puncturing of that gown or that mantle of obedience Because of the same, we have suffered consequences over the years that you and I well understand the result of failure to obey the resort of rebellion, rebellion, has the same consequences today as it had that time, and that is why today, we need to consider restoring the mantle of obedience through the family platform and using the Abrahamic family in Genesis, chapter 12, verse one to five, to see how this mantle was repaired and what are the key elements and tenets of repairing the mantle of obedience.
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
What are the ingredients or what is needed in the restoration of the mantle of obedience?
-
And I suggest to us today that the best place to really fix the mantle of obedience is actually in the family And we need to focus on family and focus on families.
-
I don't know what your definition of family is, but the definition I have comes from the Bible and we find it.
-
Abraham is there, sarah is there and, of course, there is what comes out of their union.
-
And it's very interesting when you look at Abraham and how he gets to restore the fabric or the mantle of obedience.
-
It is in the context of his father, who never obeyed fully.
-
And when one generation does not do what God wants them to do in their season and time, sometimes that matter visits the next generation And some of us here are handling matters that were supposed to be handled by our grandfathers and handled by our furthest and grandchildren are handling triple assignments and they have had to deal with fixing a lot of things.
-
It is important, especially in Africa, that every generation does what God wants done for that season and for that generation.
-
As far as Abraham is concerned, his father was called terror.
-
He had the same instructions to go to Canaan but settled at the comfort zone.
-
And some people settle for half obedience, quarter obedience, and they say I think this is good enough, but I want to say it is not good enough.
-
What God is looking for is full obedience.
-
If Jesus had settled for half obedience today we would not be having the benefits of obedience like we have partaken of the Lord's table and all the benefits and blessings that accrue from the finished work of God through Jesus Christ on the cross dying and then rising from the dead.
-
And he went full circle in his obedience And for that reason we have full circle benefits.
-
You find some families struggle and the struggle you're facing is a struggle that has been imposed on you.
-
It has come from elsewhere and some people really fight these things and they fight and they really sometimes really end up in all kinds of places, some of them having emotional breakdowns.
-
Others have mental breakdowns, other spiritual breakdowns, some are crippled in all kinds of spaces and places.
-
But it is possible to restore the mantle of obedience.
-
Another generation can come up and begin to do what God really wanted done.
-
And so you find for Terah he settled in the comfort zone verse 31 of Genesis, chapter 11.
Genesis 11 chapter mention
-
Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lord, son of Haran, and his daughter in law, sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canon.
-
But when they came to Haran they settled there.
-
That was short of the expectation, but I thank God that in Genesis, chapter 12, a man arises from that family called Abraham, who will restore the mantle of obedience.
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
I want to say obedience is everything as far as God is concerned.
-
And when you study the whole of totality of Scripture you will say the kind of things God does where people obey.
-
For example, genesis no, determined 28, verse 1 to 13 has 15 blessings of obedience determined 28, verse 1 to 13.
-
But shortly after that it follows Cassis rebellion, opens gates of all kinds of queer things that could happen to families, and we try to repair those things.
-
We pray, we fast, we do all kinds of things.
-
But the baton and trigger that God is looking for is simply obedience.
-
And he says when you obey, all these blessings will follow you.
-
Obedience pleases.
-
God makes God very happy When Jesus was baptized.
-
Like those people who are baptized, you know, god was very happy In Matthew 3.17,.
-
He's so excited about Jesus being baptized and he's doing it to fulfill all righteousness And he cannot keep it to himself.
-
God even speaks and he speaks with a voice and he's so happy And he said this is my son, whom I love.
-
With him I am well pleased These words are coming after Jesus is baptized And Parashambra shared about some of the little instructions and things that God says.
-
And until we honor those or keep those instructions, then certain doors remain shut The door of blessing, the door of divine pleasure, you know.
-
Even the veneer of our protection is lifted and the devil has a free way.
-
So I thank God for Abraham and Abraham's who are here today, the father figures, because fathers have a very, very important place in terms of leading the family as a platform.
-
You know, in the parts of obeying God, fathers voice, fathers authority, fathers leadership.
-
And as I talk about fathers, i'm also talking about even the women who have actually taken the role, because there is father the person, there is father the role, and we have women who have actually taken that role within families today, and they are their fathers, they are also mothers.
-
It's just like me.
-
I'm also a mother.
-
Does that sound strange?
-
I'm a single father, but I'm also a mother because I'm raising children.
-
Yeah, i'm raising children as a single parent.
-
So during mother's day, i also celebrated as a mother, hallelujah, i celebrated as a mother and I have prayed God, give me the grace of a mother.
-
I'm telling you, i have four daughters and one son.
-
Raising daughters is very interesting, and before I got to know the biological cycles and really master them properly, i would end up in hospital many nights And then I would be told mze nishidagai ni, she don't understand these things.
-
I say God, give me the grace to be a father and a mother at the same time.
-
And there's a mother here saying give me a grace to be a mother and a father.
-
And so thank God for these fathers like Abraham who rise up and they say we restore the mantle of obedience.
-
And, like I say, the word mantle is like a cover, is like a cloak that you can actually put around yourself, and so this mantle is a cover.
-
The cover of obedience is what I'm talking about today.
-
Earlier in the service, first service.
-
I paraphrased Acts, chapter one, verse eight, which says Acts one eight says you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea, samaria and to the atomous parts of the world.
-
I paraphrased it to say you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit mantles you.
-
It is the same word upon coming upon, when the Holy Spirit envelops you, the mantle of the Holy Spirit, and this mantle is upon every believer And for that reason, then, you can be a witness of God, of Christ, in Jerusalem, judea, samaria and to the atomous parts of the world.
-
The same word in Genesis, chapter one, when the spirit of God hovered over or brooded over.
-
It's a mantle.
-
We are all manteled in the atmosphere.
-
We have a covering called the atmosphere and we are inside this atmosphere.
-
So, number one, this mantle, this covering, the repair of it, the fixing of it, all those holes, the shame that is, you know, the gaps that are existing in the field of obedience, the mantle of obedience, there are three key things that are key in terms of the restoration of the same.
-
One is divine instruction, restored through divine instruction, and God gives very clear instructions.
-
This book, the Bible is a manual of life And there is instructions for everything.
-
Psalm 119, 105 says your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
-
God gives clear instructions and He gives Abraham.
-
Chapter 12, verse one.
-
The Lord had said to Abraham go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land.
-
I will show you.
-
Their instructions are very clear And let me say this that it is important that we bring instructions back to family, divine instruction back to the family unit.
-
I know there are some countries where they have kicked the Bible out of school and they have even kicked the Bible out of their homes.
-
But I hear challenges and fathers.
-
You have a role in providing this leadership to bring the Bible back to family and bring it to the center of the life of family.
-
In the earlier service I said we put this pulpit here deliberately to be at the center of this building, actually dead center of this building.
-
We put it here deliberately Under that top.
-
There this, looking like this building, looks like the African heart and you hit the fireplace in the middle and you put three stones, you have your pot and since we are a communal people, we are a family by design the African people, then you have your whole family sitting around and you're having three stones here, you're having your pot and food is getting ready, and I thank God that in this church we have chosen to keep the Bible central, the centrality of the Word of God and the importance of instruction.
-
That's Biblical base, and so every Sunday, we bring the Word as it is and we bring it from the Bible, and I would like to encourage every father who is here today if it's something that you're not doing to make a determination to bring the Bible back to the center of your family life, because that's a key ingredient to obedience.
-
It is impossible to obey without clarity of instruction, and this instruction comes from here.
-
If families are to live right, what to do with family, how should family function, how does a family look like?
-
All those things are here and we need to bring this Bible back to the center.
-
If you are doing it, i encourage you to continue doing it, and this Bible is amazing.
-
It is really really amazing As God's Word and manual that is speaking to life.
-
John 6.63 says these words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.
-
So the Word of God.
-
So my first point is just to say to restore this kind of obedience, we need to bring the Bible to the center.
-
Even as a person, even as an individual, bring the Bible again back to the center of your life.
-
Joshua was told.
-
Joshua 1, verse 8, this book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.
-
That you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, and then you shall be prosperous and you shall be very successful.
-
Bring the Bible to the center.
-
Authority comes from the Word of God.
-
Authority does not come from shouting.
-
You are a father, just raise your kids from the time they are small.
-
You know, using this You'll find it very easy later in life.
-
But if the Bible is kept out in the teenage and after teenage, you'll have to use a lot of muscle, you'll have to shout a lot.
-
Sometimes people get aggressive.
-
But let me say this when the Bible is at the center, then obedience is possible.
-
And when a nation brings the Bible at the center of its life, then the blessing of God comes upon that nation.
-
And so the first point there is restored through divine instruction.
-
If we observe the words of God.
-
Shakahola will not happen because you have people who know what God has said And if somebody comes and says something different or contrary, you're able to quickly say that is out of order, i will not obey man, i obey God.
-
I'm following God, i'm following His Word.
-
And so Abraham is not following a crazy person And that's why I believe Sarah believes him.
-
Abraham is not following a cult by taking all his things and they're going in a different direction.
-
No, no, no, no.
-
God is at the center of what he's doing and his obedience.
-
So Acts 17, verse 11 says the Jews at wine barrier Acts 17, verse 11, were more noble than those in, were more noble character than those in the Salonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and did what.
-
They examined the scriptures how often every day, to do what?
-
to see if what Paul said was true.
-
And that's why Pastor Ambrose has maintained scripture at the center, so that when you live on Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, these exciting two theologies and doctrines that provide shortcuts to life, and quick, you know those kind of doctrines, you are able to measure them again as the scripture which dwells in you.
-
And so you obey God.
-
And how do you do it through divine instructions, god speaking, and he speaks through his Word.
-
And when you take time to be in God's Word, then you can never be taken in the wrong direction.
-
But secondly, the other ingredient is assignment, restored through divine assignment.
-
In verse two and three of Genesis 12, the Bible says I'll make you into a great nation and I will bless you.
-
I will make your name great and you will be a blessing.
-
I'll bless those who bless you and whoever castes you I will cast, and all peoples listen to this.
-
All peoples on earth, thus underlying, will be blessed through you.
-
All peoples on earth will do what Bless through you.
-
God is about to do a miracle in this church.
-
He is going to provide visas for us to go all over the world, hallelujah.
-
And in a moment Pastor Ambrose will be coming, because we mentioned passports last Sunday as well as release the Father's blessing.
-
God will do it so that all nations may do what Be blessed through, through every one of us.
-
And that's what the Great Commission is about.
-
Go there for and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that have commanded you And lo, i'll be with you to the end of the age.
-
The assignment God desires that every talent, every gift be deployed to become a blessing.
-
That means there are, there is, a multitude of platforms.
-
Pastor Ambrose talks about this pulpit and says we have only one pulpit on a Sunday, but there are so many pulpits when we are dispersed and we go north, south, east, west, center, everywhere, so many pulpit.
-
And in those pulpit I declare you shall be a river of blessing in Jesus' name.
-
Let's give a hand to the Lord, a river of blessing in Jesus' name.
-
John 7 38 says out of you shall flow rivers of living waters.
-
And so what is the assignment?
-
To be a blessing to every nation.
-
And I want to encourage us when we pray, not just to pray for your village or your city, which is good in your nation.
-
Pray for the nations.
-
Some step tattoo us, ask of me the nations and I'll give them as an inheritance to you In Pastor Ambrose.
-
I thank God that our teams and people have been going out and this gospel is being preached everywhere.
-
We have our youth 78 of them right now in Lokitang, turkana, and they are preaching in Tondonyang, in Kotongun, among other places.
-
Hallelujah There.
-
There, let's give a hand to the Lord because of our young people, 78 of them.
-
We had Kileleshwa house group going to Kalulu girls in Makueni and I'm informed that 70 people 70 students and a teacher yeah, and one teacher accepted Christ.
-
We thank God that they are here.
-
We bless the Lord.
-
We had 100 people baptized.
-
Isn't the great commission being manifest here?
-
This is an obedient church and I want to say God is very happy with Parkland's Baptist Church.
-
I'm Ajay Biji, pigi makofi.
-
God is very happy with Parkland's Baptist Church.
-
We had three of our men today is men's conference three of our men.
-
They came here, we commissioned them and they have driven 14,000 kilometers to Cape Town praying and sharing the gospel.
-
Three of our men, william, james and Francis and they are back 21 days.
-
They went for 21 days and they are back, restored through divine assignments.
-
It's sort of asking so many questions.
-
Just simply say Isaiah 6, verse 8, here I am, lord, send me.
-
Here I am, lord, send me.
-
It should be easy for God to mobilize me and we should make it easy for God to mobilize me.
-
You know divine mobilization.
-
God gives the word, which is a mobilizer, but he also gives the assignment and he makes it very clear this is your life mission, this is your life purpose, this is what I want with your life.
-
But sometimes we have people who are Jonah and Jonah, son of Amitya.
-
In Jonah, chapter 1, verse 1 to 3, you find he gets clear instructions go to Nineveh I have heard, i've seen the evil in that place.
-
Jonah go and do something.
-
But you know what Jonah does He goes the other direction, trying to run away from the Lord.
-
Let me just read it.
-
The word of the Lord came to Jonah, son of Amitya go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up to me before me.
-
Look at verse 3,.
-
but Jonah did what Ran away from the Lord and headed for Tashish.
-
He went down to Jobah where he found a ship bound for the port.
-
After paying the fare, imagine just to go the wrong direction, he went aboard and sailed for Tashish to free from the Lord.
-
In fact, if you read further, he even went and slept, saying I'm going to run away from God.
-
I want to say it's impossible to run away from the call of God.
-
It follows you into your bedroom, it follows you in your workstation, it just follows you everywhere.
-
The assignment demands.
-
You know the assignment comes upon us and when time is ticking it's like you should have done this five years ago.
-
But this thing of procrastination is a bad thief of obedience, because they say I'm going to do it tomorrow, but God is saying it's going to be done now.
-
So, my son Alex, what the Lord has asked you to do got to be done now.
-
There is no more time in terms of waiting.
-
If you need to be broadcasting with BBC, you better get there.
-
you better get there and the visa I hope you have a passport.
-
As we pray today, my prayer is for you to get that opening.
-
Hallelujah, cnn, bbc and you also create a news channel that will serve the world.
-
God wants you to be a channel of blessing, because God has given you voice.
-
He has a golden voice and this voice, i declare, is going to be a blessing to the nations.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So what terror Abraham's father didn't do?
-
that assignment shows up in his son's life and Abraham says I am gonna do it.
-
And so this fabric of obedience is fixed, restored within your family line through understanding your purpose and mission.
-
They know and understanding your assignment, and so I thank God for Abraham who picked it up, and no wonder God begins to enter a covenant that will affect history through this one man and his family.
-
But I must move on and say restored through divine impartation.
-
I've talked about divine instruction, divine assignment, which is purpose, and then divine impartation, and here we are dealing with legacy, legacy, divine impartation.
-
This is passing the mantle to another.
-
And we have, for example, second kings, chapter 2, verse 9 to 15, where Elijah passes the mantle to Elisha.
-
you know that is impartation.
-
It passes from one generation one, a father figure, the fathers of the land, the fathers and fathers must every day be passing on the mantle.
-
You know, sometimes we talk about writing a wheel, which is kind of an end activity, but I dare say the wheel is passed on daily.
-
The wheel not when we are dead, on a daily basis as we choose to relate with our children.
-
There is a mantle we are passing, there's a wheel we are passing.
-
And so you find Elijah and Elisha, as you can see on the screen.
-
There they spent, they had a relationship, but it came time for Elijah to leave and Elisha actually picked the mantle later on.
-
You can read it second Corinthians, second kings, chapter 2, verse 9, all the way to verse 15, the best inheritance you can give inheritance and Elijah asked for double portion of this inheritance the best mantle inheritance you can pass to up to a child is not the tangibles, it is not the tangibles, it is not the land, it's not the cars, it's not the money, it is the values, it is the integrity you know, it is the Bible value, the, the value called scripture, the value called prayer.
-
The intangibles are the ones that will take your child anywhere in the world and they will succeed.
-
And this legacy element, or this impartation element, happens best through relationships.
-
And that is why time is essential.
-
Fathers I speak to fathers what children are looking for?
-
is you not what you can give?
-
they are looking for you, not what you have, and therefore be present, be available, because that is how this impartation actually happens and this is the easy way out.
-
Sometimes, as fathers, we want to buy our children the best gift.
-
Sometimes we spoil them and we think we are doing.
-
We are being fathers.
-
What is needed is spend time with them.
-
In fact, what Abraham does?
-
he takes everybody from verse 4 when he's obeying.
-
So Abraham went as the Lord had told him and lot, lot, even lot, was there went with him.
-
Abraham was 75 years old, and when he set out from Haran, he took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lord, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan.
-
And they arrived there.
-
Our spiritual calling is not just a simple personal journey that you walk and then you enter heaven.
-
We need to leave a legacy, and this legacy will be left through the line of relationships, and so we need to review the aspect of time and how we spend time with our family.
-
I know these days there are all kinds of places we can go, especially that when the premier league is on the weekends, we have these ones on Saturday, sunday, la Liga and all those, and you find we find ourselves in certain spaces with big screens and we spend all the time with that kind of crowd, except the family.
-
You know one thing Corona did that was good.
-
Was it called Corona?
-
have you forgotten the name of it?
-
just call Corona.
-
Yeah, it made us fit in small spaces, stay together.
-
I mean, god was.
-
It's like all of us just saying you guys, you just got to be home at a church.
-
I took one attendance.
-
Come here what we're going to money.
-
They are watching from there.
-
You want to be safe.
-
But you know, we were brought together very close to one another and then we say this mantle of obedience will be restored when fathers spend time with sons and daughters and actually walk with them and then coach them.
-
The word training is teaching with demonstration.
-
You know, teaching and demonstration make training.
-
And that's what the great commission said training them.
-
If you look at the great commission, training them to observe all that I've commanded you.
-
I have many sons.
-
Some are one biological, but I'm mentoring many other sons.
-
Some of them are here and I spent a my Wednesdays.
-
Every Wednesday morning section is mentorship time and I spent time with young people.
-
Friday afternoon I'm outside church in a hotel to meet some people who feel they don't want to come to the church, some of these politicians and leaders, and I'm just pouring out my life.
-
That's what legacy is about and obedience is you have to learn, you have to be trained to obey.
-
And these young people, especially young children, they look at you and then they start mimicking you.
-
Brother Joe, like my grandson, he was in my office today and when he comes there he figures out what is grander.
-
Doing my, he carries the Bible, like me.
-
I've noticed that he wants to sit on my chair.
-
I don't have to say a word, just by being me, me, you know.
-
Yeah, yes, this, and you can see.
-
By the way, this is Joe's grandson who is right here.
-
Let's give Joe a hand clap.
-
You know we're doing, write the picture, and I can see the little ones also there and the others who are there.
-
They keep their eyes on you.
-
They don't hear.
-
It's not the words, it's.
-
They just keep your eyes on your actions and within no time they start doing things you do if you drink alcohol.
-
They.
-
They're going to show up as teenagers with what you call them, those little ones, the packages I don't know them very well, is all yeah, and they'll come into a family meeting.
-
You're sitting there and they're holding it and walking it right into that family meeting.
-
You're a grandfather or you're a father and you're getting very embarrassed and you don't know what to do.
-
It just started someplace and that is why the obedience is training, really.
-
And fathers, fathers, fathers of the church, fathers of the nation, fathers of Africa, i encourage you to come from those lofty rostrums and come down, identify young people who begin to walk with them on a daily basis, the Paul Timothy model, the Elijah Elijah model, the Jesus and the disciples model, and you can never go wrong as far as that is concerned.
-
And so this fabric, this, this cloth or this mantle of obedience can actually be restored through those three things I say keep the divine, clear, divine instructions at the center, divine assignment and divine impartation.
-
And today I'm praying for somebody who is saying pastor, the mantle of obedience in my family has been broken, it has gaps.
-
It is in Tata's.
-
I feel like Adam and Eve.
-
You know, after they sinned they saw the one naked.
-
Why?
-
because the mantle, the cover of obedience was actually broken and they started seeing that like there were no naked and they went and tried to cover themselves with leaves.
-
But God had to come and try to get them fix that, that covering.
-
Today he's done it through Jesus Christ and I bless the Lord you may be here and you feel like in your family line, something settled in the comfort zone, but God wanted you to go another step.
-
And God is saying you need to move to the next level now obedience.
-
When God says go forgive, there are not two ways about it.
-
You just go forgive, reconcile.
-
There are not two ways about it.
-
Give, like Pastor Ambrose shared in Malachi, chapter 3, the tithe.
Malachi 3 chapter mention
-
They are not two ways about it.
-
So in different aspects of your life you know clear instructions and you feel you stopped somewhere.
-
A witness to somebody, tell somebody about Jesus and you try to figure out.
-
When did I last do it?
-
it's about a year ago.
-
I'm no longer passionate about it.
-
Even I don't have passion about it.
-
I've lost it.
-
So you feel like that gown, that mantle, has been broken somewhere and you need it restored.
-
I want to say today is possible.
-
It is just a recommitment to scripture, a recommitment to the assignment and also a recommitment to hold somebody else by the hand and let them see how you live your life and help them through with their obedience.
-
So I'm going to pray And with this person or persons, as I come to a time of prayer, let me just quickly say I come from a family of 13 children and the sixth born as the first one to get saved in that home And I sensed the call to have the mantle of obedience restored in my own family because people had gone all kinds of directions and was very chaotic.
-
And I was in high school And I want to say young people, you can make a big difference in your homes and in your family.
-
I was in high school And God gave me the courage and boldness to walk through the days and really share with my family, bring them to Christ.
-
But some brothers shared his story also here And I want to say it starts somewhere.
-
It all starts with a decision.
-
It just starts like Abraham.
-
God is speaking all the time.
-
Abraham rises, picks his wife, picks his family, obeys 100%.
-
It's not partial obedience.
-
And look at now the blessings of Abraham And Pastor Ambrose will come, as a father figure, to also bless us How these blessings have impacted the whole world.
-
You have an opportunity today, as I pray, to make that kind of decision as a father.
-
Father figure, not necessarily biological, can be spiritual father, foster father, prospective somebody say prospective father here prospective father, father by faith.
-
Even a young person can be a father, yes, a spiritual father.
-
You can actually make a commitment That as a father, as we celebrate Father's Day, i want to enter the responsibility, not just the personhood of father, but the responsibility of fatherhood, and I want to enter that place And I will father many.
-
I will be a father of nations And I tell you, when you pray that prayer, god answers it.
-
He opens those doors for you And you will be able to raise many sons and many daughters from all over the world so that families of the nations may bow down before Jehovah.
-
God, just stand up as we pray together.
-
You know yourself, you've listened to what I've shared and the three tenets and pillars of restoration of obedience, all through the family platform.
-
You know where you are.
-
As I begin to pray, may God quicken you to respond and commit to bring the Bible back to the center, to reconnect again with the assignment and to determine to hold somebody else by the hand and shepherd them to their destiny.
-
And I know, as we pray this kind of prayer, god is going to be honored and blessed And the nations will not remain the same again.
-
Father, in the name of Jesus, i want to thank you so much for Abraham and Sarah.
-
Thank you that they were able to pick the baton of obedience and they were able to respond to your word And for that reason they became the center of global blessing That today we talk about the Abrahamic covenant, we talk about the Abrahamic blessing.
-
We talk about the Abrahamic nation, we talk about the greatness of Abraham, but at the core of it was obedience.
-
God, you're about to lift somebody into greatness.
-
You're about to lift a family, give them a big name and a great name.
-
You're about to open the floodgates of the future and of destiny for an individual or a family, and even a nation, those who come from other countries.
-
But, god, you're waiting for somebody who will rise, like Abraham, and say I want the mantle of obedience restored in my personal life, in my family, in my village, in my nation and also in my continent.
-
Those of you who desire that you enter that space, that you move from the realm of the nominal to make people make, who live a legacy.
-
You can just raise your hand and put it down.
-
I may not even see it in the pavilion at home, but God will see it.
-
You're doing it for God, not for me, not for the church, not for a neighbor.
-
Just simply put it up and put it down.
-
My God, i thank you for the fathers you are raising today, thank you for the fathers of the Abrahamic order you are raising today And, lord, thank you that you take such people and you begin to walk with them.
-
I pray that your spirit now rests on those who have raised their hands, and also on their families And God as they set out to obey you by taking divine instructions, to obey you by fulfilling their life assignment, to obey you by mentoring somebody else, lord, as they take up this path of obedience.
-
My prayer is that the Abrahamic blessing would descend upon them, that, god, you would expand their territories, that, god, you would protect them and that, god, you would bring healing within those families, that your restoration would come and that now the mantle of obedience will come over them once again and that the enemy will not be able to penetrate.
-
Thank you, my God, for those who have made this decision today, because we've prayed in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, and we all say we all say, let's give a hand clap to Jesus, amen.
-
I now welcome Pastor Ambrose to do the Father's blessing and also those passports.
-
Let's give a hand clap to the Lord as he comes.
-
Thank you, let's appreciate, pastor Simon.
-
Amen, while we are standing, tell your neighbor the blessing is on you.
-
Amen, you believe that.
-
So how many of you came with your passports?
-
Just get them out, because we want to pray for them.
-
Just hold them and, as you prepare, the pastor, the chairman of the pastors and decon's board is here.
-
He wants to do a presentation and then we will pray.
-
Thank you so much.
-
Pastor Ambrose, good afternoon church.
-
Very well, a very short one.
-
On behalf of the main ministry and the entire church, we want to wish the two of you happy Father's Day.
-
These two gentlemen are our spiritual fathers for this house And the men after the conference.
-
Lot of gifting them, and within this package are two significant elements.
-
Number one is a study Bible, because obedience is adherence to instructions, regulations, laws or laws, and that is what they do here every day, expounding the regulations of the kingdom for us.
-
We are equipping them to be able to do it more And we are committing as a church to obey That one we can clap.
-
Number two is that there is a prayer show that you can cover yourself when you're praying, as a sign that also we as a church commit to cover you with our prayers, because we know that God will take us far when he also cover us with your prayers.
-
And therefore, without much ado, dicon Joe, go ahead and give Pastor Simon, our associate pastor, to blessing, and then I have the honor of extending this to senior pastor.
-
You are welcome.
-
And now that we saw that when he's declaring the father blessings.
-
we are all set, and then George will be blowing the shaffoon when we will be hearing the father blessings.
-
Welcome, pastor Andrews.
-
Amen, amen.
-
God bless you.
-
So, so, so much As I prepare to pray, now lift up those passports, because we are releasing you to the nations.
-
The Bible says ask me for the nations.
-
Now, while you are lifting that passport, put in your mind which nation you want to go Now.
-
I'm not talking about Kino.
-
I want you to There's a nation that you have, because we're going to pray that those doors open.
-
We also say that if your passport has never been stamped how many have passports that have never been stamped?
-
Just shake them Now.
-
I keep telling you Namanca is not very far.
-
Go to Namanca, come back, they'll be stamped, burn as if you were.
-
Begin to get your yellow fever certificates, because sometimes you can't go anywhere.
-
Get those things, covid certificates, whatever.
-
Get those things.
-
You have no idea that God can open your door tomorrow.
-
I'm saying God can open your door tomorrow, amen.
-
And for those of passports and been traveling again, this is our prayer for you also that God will also open more doors for you to keep Christ crossing the globe for the kingdom of God.
-
Let's give God a big hand in Jesus' name, amen, amen.
-
So lift them up, father.
-
In the name of Jesus, we celebrate the opportunity you have given Parklands Baptist Church members to travel across this globe.
-
Many of us have done that, but, lord, they are those who desire that reality to come for them, and so, as they lift up those passports, i decree and declare that God, who opens doors that no man can shut, will open that door for you.
-
We command the continents to open the continent of Africa to open for you the continent of the Americas North and South to open for you the European continent to open for you the Middle East to open for you the Asian continent to open for you Australia to open for you the islands of the nations to open for you.
-
We decree and declare that the nations are open for you.
-
In the mighty name of Jesus, whatever languages they speak.
-
We decree and declare that you shall get to hear them And you shall be able to decree and declare the word of God in those nations.
-
So we command that these passports are blessed, that you are blessed, and God is going to open doors for you.
-
God is going to provision for you to fly, whether it's flying by boat or whatever.
-
That God's grace will abound in your life.
-
So receive this blessing in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit And God's people say amen, yes, come on, let's give God a big hand.
-
Amen.
-
Now I want to decree the Father's blessing and I want to encourage the men, especially the men of Parklands Baptist Church.
-
These two items, this card and this booklet, get those two.
-
They are available today in our bookshop and out here.
-
Again, this card basically talks about the mantles the mantle of blessing, the mantle of prosperity, the mantle of favor, the mantle of leadership, the mantle of courage, the mantle of worship, the mantle of wisdom, the mantle of power, the mantle of double portion, the mantle of organizational implementation, the mantle of statesmanship, the mantle of missions.
-
Those mantles are yours, amen.
-
And so, as I release the Father's blessing, i pray that you get those items and begin to study them, begin to believe God.
-
And I want you to know those mantles will become your portion, they will be mantles.
-
Tell your neighbor, i will be mantled, hallelujah.
-
And I define the mantle here and I say the mantle is the invisible, supernatural impartation of God that releases us for divine assignments.
-
That's what Pastor Simon was talking about.
-
We have assignments ready for us which enable the kingdom of God to be advanced through us.
-
And it happens.
-
Not tomorrow, it starts now.
-
So tell your neighbor I am getting ready for my assignment.
-
When are you doing that?
-
You're doing it right now, some of you who are planning to get married.
-
Your husband is not in Kenya And I want you to know that as you travel with that passport.
-
thank you, jesus.
-
Somebody is locating you.
-
Amen.
-
Your wife is not in Kenya.
-
So you need to go ahead and get out of this place, go beyond Kino, and I want you to know that God is able to do exceedingly Abundantly, above what we ask of Imagine.
-
I want you to know, before this year has ended, about 50% of you will have traveled out of this country.
-
Jesus name, jesus name.
-
There are those of some of our Kenyans who have traveled into America and are among us, and those of you who have traveled and come to us.
-
We celebrate you As you prepare to go out again.
-
May God bless you.
-
So let me release the Father's blessing.
-
Please lift up your hand as a command, this blessing to us.
-
Father, you are an amazing father for you to have picked Abraham from a pagan society and said I will use this one to change the world, my God.
-
And then you blessed him And you told him, i will make you into a great nation.
-
I will bless you and, through you, the families of the earth will be blessed.
-
This afternoon, this servant of God is lifting up his hands towards God's people in the pavilion, those in house, those watching online, and I decree and declare to you today, in the name that is above every name, holy Spirit, as I speak, confirm this word in the lives of your people, and I bless you today with a blessing of unprecedented favor.
-
I bless you with a blessing of uncommon opportunities.
-
I bless you with a blessing of unlimited wisdom.
-
I bless you with the blessing of extraordinary engagements.
-
I bless you with a blessing of international networks.
-
I bless you with a blessing of record-breaking innovations.
-
I bless you with a blessing of triumphant breakthroughs.
-
I bless you with a blessing of vibrant health and strength.
-
I bless you with a blessing of relating with global economic impact.
-
I bless you with the blessing of declaring abundance and overflow.
-
I bless you with a blessing of family reunions and celebrations.
-
I bless you with a blessing of kingdom, advancement and dominion.
-
Receive this blessing from the Lord, god Almighty, who is the father to all who call upon his name and believe in his son, jesus Christ.
-
May his Holy Spirit manifest into reality all these blessings to you in the now.
-
I bless you in the name of the father, i bless you in the name of the Son, i bless you in the name of the Holy Spirit.
-
I declare that your Monday is blessed, your Tuesday is blessed, your Wednesday is blessed, your Thursday is blessed, your Friday is blessed, your Saturday is blessed.
-
Sunday, you're coming back with a testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ.
-
In the name of Jesus Christ, if you receive this blessing, you better say I receive it, i take it, it is my portion and there is nothing the devil can do about it.
-
Now give God a big shout and bless his Holy Name.
-
Hallelujah, hallelujah, amen, amen.
-
The gates are open for you.
-
I'm saying the gates are open for you In Jesus' name.
-
So go forth and represent Jesus well, represent the kingdom well, amen.
-
Are you glad you came Now?
-
I want to release you in a moment and I want to let you know The man.
-
Thank you for the week.
-
That's been an amazing week.
-
We celebrate all of you, like Pastor Simon said, and God richly, richly bless back to church and all of you who came.
-
Amen.
-
Let's thank God for many.
-
Amen.
-
You know this.
-
This this gentleman from DRC Congo who come to us have amazing names.
-
There's one who called Amen Anataka Mugeni.
-
It's a full name, anataka Mugeni, a mighty pastor, was pastoring here in Kenya for quite some time.
-
Amazing names, and if you need a name for your son, my friend, just name them those names.
-
Don't name them COVID-19 or TN or those.
-
Those kinds of things can be challenging, but as a father to this church, i bless you.
-
I bless you.
-
I bless you.
-
Receive it in Jesus name.
-
Look at your neighbor, telling neighbor, surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and you shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever, and there's nothing the devil can do about it.
-
Amen And now.
-
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever and ever.
-
Amen, shalom, have a great week.
