We are reading from the book of Matthew, chapter 4, verse 18 to 20.

Matthew 4:18–20

I know it's on the screen.

Let me read from my copy here.

As Jesus was walking beside the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, simon called Peter and his brother Andrew.

They were casting a net into the lake for they were fishermen.

Come follow me.

Jesus said, and I will make you.

That's what I wanted to.

I know the one on the screen will be slightly different because it's a recent translation.

This translation says come follow me.

It's an IV.

Jesus said and I will make you fishers of men.

At once they left their nets and followed him.

At once.

They left their nets and followed him.

I don't know whether we remember the song we sang in Sunday school used to go something like fishers of men, fishers of men, I will make you.

There is a way we used to sing it.

I don't know.

Some people are sitting down and others standing up.

Was there something like that?

So let's go back to Sunday school.

So who are supposed to sit down?

How are we doing it?

When we say I will make M is for men.

So when we say, make the men stand up, so the men sit, or the men stand, the men sit.

We are not agreeing, so let me make a ruling the men sit, then fishers, they stand, then the ladies.

I don't understand the school.

Let me raise the key a little bit, I will make you.

I'm telling you.

I'm telling you you are on camera, you are on camera.

If you fall, you are on camera.

The world is watching you.

I will make you fishers of men If you follow me.

Let us give the Lord a mighty handclap.

Hallelujah, amen.

As we take our seats, in Jesus' name, I saw somebody pulling.

I don't know whether it's the husband or the brother or something.

He was still in F standing.

So we thank God.

We thank God for this morning.

This morning, briefly, with the time that we have, I just want to share briefly on the subject the making of a world changer.

The making of a world changer and let me begin by saying that the making of a world changer is a faith venture.

So when we are talking about empowered faith, we are talking about the faith that makes us and enables us to be world changers.

It is the undeterred conviction of a world changer that separates them from the ordinary.

The undeterred conviction and powered faith.

And the third conviction it is that conviction that makes the difference in the life of a world changer and distinguishes them from the ordinary.

It is that conviction that causes them to believe and to stand, even when every other person is seated or even when circumstances dictate that they should be seated.

I have a conviction in my heart though I may not know what tomorrow holds, I know I have on my side the one who holds tomorrow.

Praise the Lord, that is my conviction, and Paul says I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

By the way, I may not know where the finance bill is taking us, but I know on my side there is one who provides in season and out of season.

This coming week, I don't know how Manda Mano will go, if they are going to be there.

We are a country of democracy, all right, led by a constitution with rights, so maybe there will be Manda Mano.

I don't know which direction they will take us, but I know there is a God who is holding this country and he is the prince of peace.

He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can think or imagine.

And so what will cause us to stand out?

It is our undeterred conviction in times such as this that will cause us to stand out, even in times of difficulties.

And for a moment, let me address our nation and say this especially to our leaders History has taught us there is no great nation that was made great by destroying it one day at a time.

There is no great nation that was made great by destroying its infrastructure and businesses and things like that and destroying property.

No nation, history has taught us.

But also, there is no nation history has taught us that has ever been made great through chest thumping and bullets and tear gas.

No nation has been made great.

So we are calling upon our leaders that they would ask the Lord of wisdom.

Great nations were made great because of great leadership, because great men and women stood up in times of crisis and uncertainties and gave leadership.

What we need in our nation today is leadership, not these things that we are seeing from either side and we are speaking and saying there is wisdom for that leadership from our God.

If you ask of him, he will give it Amen.

And so, as a church, we are going to stand in that with an undeterred conviction and say that indeed, in times like this, we will stand up for our nation and the Lord is going to come through in Jesus' name.

The Apostle Peter passes the test of an empowered world changer.

When we think about a man who turned his world upside down, when we write, we come up with the list of men and women who turned the world upside down, who impacted the world, who changed the world.

The name of the Apostle Peter will be among the list.

But one of the things we may need to ask ourselves this morning is who is this Peter?

Actually, we don't have much about the profile of Peter.

We just know a few just can't details about Peter.

We know, first of all, that his name was Simon Peter.

At some point Jesus calls him Simon Peter, the son of Jonah, in Matthew 16, verse 17.

So that gives us an opportunity to know that his father was called Jonah.

We don't know what he was, where he was and what he was doing, but we also know that he had a younger brother called Andrew.

We have an idea that Peter was married because Jesus visits his house and his mother-in-law was down with a fever.

Tell your neighbor where there is a mother-in-law, there is a married person.

So we don't know the name of the wife, unless that has been found.

I tried searching the scripture.

I didn't see the name of the wife.

By the way, we don't know the name of his children, so we don't know much about him.

We actually know he came from a town called Bedside.

It was a small town, the west coast of the Sea of Galilee.

It was a small town, not a well-known town, not a prominent town In terms of education.

We know he was unschooled.

That is what the Bible says in Acts, chapter 4, verse 13,.

Acts 4:13

Because one day he stood before schooled men the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees, men who were well-versed with the law, scholars and they were able to discern that he was unschooled.

You know, you can stand before people and they discern you are unschooled.

They measured him and they said he was unschooled.

The Bible says that when they saw, they saw the courage of Peter and John, but they also realized that they were unschooled and they were ordinary.

That was his level of education In terms of occupation.

In the passage that we just read, we realize that he was a fisherman and he was not a large-scale fisherman.

He seems to be a subsistence, the one you do for living, just for living, not for life.

For living, there is a difference when you do something for living and for life.

If you don't do that thing, you won't live.

There is another one who is already living.

They do it for life.

Peter was not in that category.

He was in the category of if he doesn't have a catch, he has a stressful day.

But there is one thing we know, though we don't have a long profile of this man, there is one outstanding thing that we know from the passage that we just read.

We know that Jesus called him, that one.

We know Jesus called him.

I am here to encourage somebody.

People may not know you, it doesn't matter.

What matters is that Jesus has called you.

People may not know the town you come from.

The other day I visited some place with my wife and we used Google map to access the place, and Google map told us there is no way to that place.

There are great people from that place I wouldn't mention.

Some may be in the service.

People may not know.

Google map may not recognize where you come from.

But there is one great thing Jesus recognizes your address and he has called you, and he is calling you and he is making you into a world changer, this man who is not known but has been called by Jesus.

There are a number of things that then we see first forward.

In Acts, chapter 2, we see him boldly standing up and preaching the gospel and, in one day, 3,000 people come to Christ and are baptized.

This is the man whom Jesus has called.

Indeed, he is a world changer.

This is the man who performs miracles in chapter 3 of Acts, by healing the beggar.

In chapter 4, in chapter 9, he raises Dorcas and Tabitha.

Then he heals people by people who are just brought around his shadow.

They are healed in Acts, chapter 5.

Acts 5 · chapter mention

We see him there.

He heals a man called Ianeas in Acts, chapter 9, verse 34.

Acts 9:34

This man who is not known, he is now a miracle worker because Jesus has called him.

He is a world changer.

It is this man who demonstrates empowered faith and undeterred conviction, courage and boldness when he stands before the Sanhedrin and the leaders of the day and he boldly stands against the days tied.

The man who, at one point, could not stand the accusation by a little girl that he knew Jesus and was associated with Jesus.

Now he is standing before the powers that be in Acts, chapter 4, verse 19 to 20.

And he says you choose for yourselves whether we shall listen to you or whether we are going to listen to our God.

Look at the transformation that has happened in this man.

Indeed, because of the making of Jesus Christ, he has become a world changer.

It is Peter who steers the early church through crisis.

We see him in chapter 5 dealing with a disciplinary case in church, boldly calls out Ananeas and Sapphira and unfortunately they die because they were out of order in terms of church discipline.

It is this man who leads the church through a conflict situation when the Hellenistic Jews and the Hebraic Jews were arguing against one another.

In Acts, chapter 6,.

Acts 6 · chapter mention

This man is leading the church through crisis.

He is not known but is leading the church because something has happened in his life.

He is the man who leads the church in a time of persecution, when they first stoned Stephen.

In Acts, chapter 7,.

Acts 7 · chapter mention

This is the man at the helm of the church.

He is the man who leads the church through doctrinal crisis or issues.

The man who stands up at the Council of Jerusalem and he says indeed, we have received or been called by grace.

We cannot hold the Gentiles to follow the Jewish customs, a doctrinal issue.

This man is indeed a world changer.

From not being known, from a fisherman, he is the man now who is taking the gospel to the nations.

In Acts, chapter 10, he goes to the Gentiles.

What has happened to this man, this man who was timid, who was unknown, who was unschooled, who was unstable?

What just happened to him that now he has such a great profile of turning the world upside down?

I will tell you what has happened to him.

Jesus had invited him to a making.

Jesus is inviting you, is inviting me to a making.

Making from an ordinary person to an extraordinary person.

Making from a fearful person to a man of courage.

Making from one who is not known to one who is impacting their world.

Making from one who has not traveled from their village to one who takes the gospel to the nations the making of a world changer.

As I started by saying, this making of a world changer is indeed a faith venture, and I will talk about three quick things this faith does For you to be made.

Jesus is inviting us.

He said come I am underlining those words Come, follow, and I will make.

The characteristic of this faith is that number one.

It is a faith that responds to the master's call.

The beginning point of becoming a world changer is, fast and foremost, responding to the first call of Jesus Christ.

That call is the call to salvation.

Jesus comes around, he is walking, as the Bible says in verse 18.

He says that Jesus was walking beside the sea of Galilee and he saw two brothers, simon Peter and his brother Andrew.

And one of the questions that begs is were there other fishermen?

There were other fishermen, but Jesus, by grace, calls out Simon, and that is why in Acts, chapter 15, verse 11, simon is able to relate his calling and he says, in the midst of all this deliberation of the things that the Gentiles must do so that they can qualify to be Christians Because that is the conversation in Acts 15.

Acts 15:11

Peter stands up and he says no, we believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that we are saved, just as they are.

He says nothing else qualifies us, nothing else qualifies us to be world changers apart from responding to the initial call of Jesus Christ to become his followers.

You do not need any preparation to be called.

Jesus is already calling you this morning and saying come, follow me and I will make.

So.

That's the first thing If we are going to be world changers.

It's not about the things we know or the things we don't know.

It's about a response to the initial call of our Lord Jesus Christ to become.

He calls us to follow Him so that in the following he can make.

At this point let me say world changers are made.

They are not just born, they don't just mushroom, they are made.

The maker of world changers is Christ Himself.

Some of us can make ourselves great people.

Yes, we can.

We can have a great name, but if you are going to impact the world, it is about who you are, not what you have.

It is about what Jesus has made you, and the first step into the making is come, follow me.

Maybe you are sitting here this morning.

Have you responded to that call that says come, follow me?

That was the first call that Jesus made.

By the way, you also notice, he never told him come, follow me and I will make you a banker.

He never said come, follow me and I will make you a doctor.

He never said come, follow me and I will make you a carpenter.

Jesus was a carpenter, by the way, that was his craft.

He said come and I will make you a fisher of men.

So what does that mean?

God wants to use your platform as your mission field.

He's saying come and I will make you a banker for the kingdom.

So you may be an ordinary banker, but for you to be a world changer, you must go through a making so that your banking becomes your mission field and your platform to impact the world.

Jesus has called some of us to be pastors.

He has not called everyone to be a pastor, but he has called everyone to be made, wherever they are.

But the first call is the call to salvation, but the second call is the daily call.

Some of us already answered the first call and we are born again, but after that we stopped answering.

Our faith no longer responds to the call, the daily call, of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Not only did Peter respond to the first call and to salvation Come follow me but he continued to have a faith that responds to the daily call of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Those of us who are married, you probably have heard this statement.

Like me, I have heard and, by the way, as I say I have heard, I have also said it.

Have you heard the statement?

The things you used to do, the way you used to carry me, the way you used to greet me, the way you used to, and you can put everything, the way you used to take me out, you no longer do.

Why?

Because we already responded to the first call To condone, to condone, since you want to condone, to co-hopper.

But for that marriage to flourish, there has to be a response to the daily call.

So I keep reminding myself and we keep reminding each other.

Some of us, our parents, are asking us.

You used to listen to me, you used to obey me, you used to visit what happened to condone?

Jesus is not only calling us to respond to the first call, and that's why Peter says when he has caught nothing and he is an expert fisherman and Jesus says launch into the deep.

He had the opportunity to tell Jesus.

You know, first of all, you are a carpenter.

You know very little apart from making a boat.

There is nothing else you probably understand about fishing.

Now let me educate you, jesus.

We have been here since morning.

The fish have already gone.

No, no, no, no.

Peter said art, your word.

I will respond because it is your word.

I will respond because it is your word.

Yes, things may be very difficult, but Jesus is saying you will make it.

The question is will you respond because he's making you?

He's making you.

And Peter responds and the Bible says they caught much fish because the word of a carpenter made the difference.

The same Peter.

They are in a boat and they see a ghost coming towards them and everybody is frightened and Jesus says no, no, no, no, do not be afraid, it is I, jesus.

What does Peter say?

Peter says if it is you, lord, call me, tell me to come, just tell me to come.

And Jesus said come Because of responding daily to the voice of Jesus.

We only know two men in the world who ever walked on water.

The first one is Jesus.

The second one is a man who responded to the call to walk on water.

Why are we not working on water today?

It's because we have not responded to the call.

Why are we not in taking territory?

It's because we have not responded to the call.

Why are we not impacting?

It's because, yes, we responded to the first call, the call of salvation.

And sometimes, when we are giving our testimony you know the year I got born again it's a very serious and you can tell, but you have not continued to respond.

The making of a world changer is on the basis of a faith that continues to respond.

As pastors, if we don't respond to the daily call of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are not taking this church anywhere.

We have to keep responding and I thank God that our pastors keep responding.

They keep asking what is the Lord saying and for that reason we have a word in season, because God is speaking daily.

But number two, this faith.

Not only is it a faith that responds to the master's call, but it is also a faith that follows the master's footsteps.

A number of things we see here.

In the same passage, jesus, verse 19, says come, follow me.

Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of man.

The Bible says at once.

They left At once.

They left immediately, they left.

And what did they do?

Immediately, they left their nets and they followed him.

Jesus will make us world changers if we follow after his footsteps and not just following.

But we must be quick to follow his footsteps.

It must be immediately and that's why, immediately, peter leaves everything that he had and he starts following Jesus.

Not only should it be immediate, but it should be consistent.

You realize that when you read the stories of Jesus, peter is there almost every other time and for that reason, because of that consistency, he is one man who experiences the fullness of the spiritual realm of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us in Matthew, chapter 17 he was at the mount of transfiguration.

He beheld the presence of the Lord, he beheld the beauty of our God.

We are only going to become when we follow and when we get closer.

A story is told of a father with his son, and the son asked, if I recall well, asked how big is our God, or something like that.

And the father tried to explain how big God is.

Took the son outside and there was an airplane passing and he asked the son how big is that airplane?

And for sure it wasn't big.

It looked tiny.

Doesn't it look tiny when it's far away?

Then he took the son to the airport and then he saw the same airplane and the thing was massive.

And then he told his son how big is God depends on how close you are to him.

Some of us have not experienced a big God because we have been walking from a distance.

Some of us have not experienced a big God because we have taken a different direction.

Yes, we responded to the call.

We are born again, but we have taken a different trajectory.

Jesus is going this direction, we are going that direction, or we are just following him lazily so we cannot see the great things.

We are dragging our feet.

Peter was always at the spot of action, in fact, so much so that he actually followed him when he was arrested.

This is the only time Peter follows from a distance, but the point is he followed.

So G Peter is one of the apostles who witnessed everything that was done to Jesus and as he was witnessing, I can imagine.

And, by the way, next week Wednesday, that is the passage I will be looking at during our Wednesday service and the topic will be when faith gives way, because sometimes faith gives way, and then this story I'm about not to tell, I will tell it on Wednesday.

When faith does what Gives way.

At times faith gives way.

Peter must have observed what they did to Jesus and he thought if for sure they do the same to me, I may not survive.

That is why a little girl says Peter, I even knew you were there.

Hey, that man.

I have never seen him, but I'm following him.

Are you following Jesus immediately?

Are you following Jesus consistently?

Are you following Jesus unconditionally?

Some of us want to follow Jesus when there is much fish to catch.

Some of us want to follow Jesus when there is a walking on the water.

Some of us want to follow Jesus when bread is multiplying and 5000 people are fed.

But we don't want to follow him to the cross.

Yet it is at the cross when a real making happens.

Are the cross are the cross where I far saw the light and the burden of my heart Rolled away.

It was there by faith.

I received my sight and now I am happy all the day.

The great things of life happen when we follow Jesus to the cross.

The making of a world changer happens when we follow Jesus to the cross, and this is what happened to Peter when he saw the things that they did to Jesus and he still stood.

There is an impartation that happened in his life so that when he was scared by men, he was now able to stand because he was a witness of Jesus's victory on the cross.

He was a witness of Jesus's victory right before the man of this world.

He was a witness of Jesus being a world changer, and now he came out as a world changer.

The question is what have you witnessed?

What have you witnessed?

But thirdly, not only is it a faith that follows the Master's footsteps, not only is it a faith that responds to the Master's call, but it is a faith that fashions after the Master's molding.

It is a faith that is in Jesus's hands and allows Jesus to mold us, to shape us.

The man that Jesus meets is a mess.

The man that Jesus calls and says come follow me is a mess.

He is a mess in every way.

When you read the scripture many times Peter was somehow semi-naked.

There are times he comes before Jesus and he has to rob himself first.

This is a man who was used to probably wearing a shirt and a torn vest, without shoes, because he's fishing.

Do you wear a suit when you're going to fish?

No, you don't.

So even in terms of dressing, jesus had to make him.

It is when he saw Jesus many times that he remembered to dress up.

Jesus was making him.

The man who was a best.

Jesus ministered to him.

John, chapter 21, verse 12 to 13, tells us that Jesus prepared a breakfast for them.

John 21:12–13

Jesus will make you into a world changer by ministering to your needs.

He visited and healed the mother-in-law, put compassion in his heart.

Jesus is ministering to your needs because you are a world changer.

Some of us need comfort.

Jesus is bringing that comfort in Jesus' name because you are a world changer.

That comfort is part of his molding of your life, so that the Bible says in 1 Corinthians that we can comfort others with the comfort that we have also received.

The things that Jesus is doing to your life in terms of ministry are not just for sure of his making, his molding, his healing, so that you can bring healing to others.

He's forgiving you so that you can forgive others.

Praise the Lord.

He is loving you and embracing you so that you can embrace others.

He's ministering to you so that you can be a minister to others.

Molding being fashioned after Jesus, but Jesus also rebuked Peter.

We don't love being rebuked, but the making of a world changer includes rebuking.

The Bible says in Matthew, chapter 16, verse 23,.

Matthew 16:23

Jesus told him get behind me.

Satan, satan In our language today, that is what Jesus told Peter.

Pastor Simon, let us rebuk one another, but let's not go to the level of Jesus Satan.

But had Jesus not rebuked Peter that way, he will never have connected the magnitude of Jesus's calling for the cross.

He will never have appreciated that the cross is part of God's will.

Many times we don't appreciate that.

The cross, that pain, that suffering.

And the Bible says in Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 10, verse 7, 8, 9, that it is the discipline is for a time.

Hebrews 12:10

But I like what the Bible says there and it also scares me.

It says that the son who is not disciplined is an illegitimate son.

I don't know whether you got it.

It says is an illegitimate son.

You cannot stand with confidence before God and say I am a son.

If you do not accept his rebuke, praise the Lord.

The Bible doesn't tell us that Peter threw tantrums.

I think that he can digest that.

Did Jesus just call me Satan, me Peter, me Rock?

He just called me Satan.

Not only did Jesus rebuke, but he also taught Peter.

He taught him servanthood, servant leadership.

When you read John, chapter 13, 1 to 17, that is where Jesus washes the feet of the disciples and Peter immediately stands up and says not me.

John 13 · chapter mention

By the way, that was not a statement of humility.

Peter was not being humble.

Peter knew that what Jesus was doing is the work of the lowest in the Cudder.

So, first of all, he cannot allow him to do to him what the lowest does, because he is also a great man.

Will he do what the lowest can do?

So he was not being humble.

Again, jesus rebukes him.

He tells him if I do not wash your feet, you have no part.

Then Peter says okay, you know what you are going to wash my feet, but my whole body as well.

So you may say I am to end the interview.

See, even if you say I am to end the interview, have you had those conversations?

You have had those conversations, even if you say I am to end your gear.

To end your gear, it is up to you.

I am not going to end this In the 8th century, the Panditian Gage.

Peter in the Panditian Gage, but Jesus tells him calm down, calm down Again.

He removes foolishness, since the person who has already showered doesn't need to show again.

Let me go hopper, because the point I am making here is that for you to be a world changer, it must start by you having the right attitude, the attitude of a servant.

That's why Jesus tells them what I have done to you, you shall do to others.

In short, jesus is telling them you shall wash, you shall do the work of a servant.

But not only did Jesus minister to him, rebuke him, teach him, but he also restored him when Peter had fallen, in John, chapter 21, verse 15 to 25, jesus restored him, he called him back.

John 21:15–25

Becoming a world changer is a restorative work of Christ.

He wants to restore us.

Some of us have fallen and we have fallen badly.

In fact so bad that sometimes we decide to move churches.

Jesus is not calling us to move away, he is calling us for restoration.

Jesus wants to restore you.

Their marriage is here that Jesus wants to restore Because they are world changer marriages.

Their children here that Jesus wants to restore because they are world changers of children.

Their parents here, relationships between parents and teachers and children that God wants to restore because their world changer relationships.

There are businesses here that Jesus wants to restore because they are world-changer businesses.

Don't give up on yourself, because Jesus has not given up on you.

He's saying come, I want to restore you.

You are still a potential world-changer.

We are clay in the potter's hands.

We need to allow him to mold us.

Brothers and sisters, we shall not change the world merely by what we know or not, not by what we have or not, but by who we are and whom we allow Jesus to make us.

And the question this morning is this, as I conclude who are you?

Who are you?

That is the elephant in the room.

I wonder who is the one who is in the composition.

Now it is coming.

That is the elephant in there.

Do you know?

Some of us are very knowledgeable in scripture, but the question is who are you?

Some of us are mighty preachers I guess I'm almost in that category but the question is who are you?

Some of us occupy very influential positions, but the question is who are you?

Some of us are very wealthy materially, but the question is who are you?

Some of us are very eloquent, but the question is who are you?

Who have you allowed Jesus to make you?

Some of us hold very honorable positions, but the question is who are you?

Chairman?

And in Paki, by the way, we have very serious.

But, pastor Simon, when we talk to our colleagues out there, our peers, and we tell them what we are, they ask us so you are pastor of what I tell them?

Maturity pastor, maturity pastor.

There is no any other maturity pastor in any other church, it is only in Parklands Baptist Church.

But the question is who am I?

What have I allowed Jesus to make me?

Beyond the title?

Maturity pastor, what am I allowing Jesus to make me?

We have some very powerful leadership pogans in this church, very serious.

Almost everybody wants to be a part of them the pastors and decons board.

I am a member there.

But the question is, those of us who are sitting there, led by our Honorable Chair, who are we?

Whom are we allowing Jesus to make us to be?

We have another one, called the church council, led by our moderator.

Madam moderator, the question is who are we?

When we sit in that council, it is not the position we hold that will make the difference.

It is who we are that will make us world changers and get this church to the next level, not the position we hold.

We have another one, the BOT, and our BOT chair is here.

Wonderful, madam Betty.

But the question, madam Betty, we must ask ourselves while seated there, it is not just our profiles, it is not just who elected us.

It's the question of who are we.

But we have another powerful one I have dealt with.

It's called members.

I keep the register.

The question is who are we?

And if there's a church as Parkland Baptist Church, we allow Christ, even in this season, if we listen to his voice, if we follow him, if we are going to allow him to fashion us after himself.

This church is the hub of world transformation, in Africa and in the world.

Minus that we are going to go round and round in the wilderness without coming out.

May we allow ourselves to hear, to follow and to be fashioned.

Shall we stand up.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Just take a moment in your heart and tell the Lord.

Tell Him, lord, I want to listen to your voice, I want to respond.

Is there something the Lord has been speaking to you lately?

Is there an area that you stopped responding and you're telling Lord, I want to respond today?

Is there an area that you stopped following and you want to tell Him?

Lord, I want to follow.

I want to get back to the path of following.

Is there an area that the Lord is fashioning you and you have not just like a living sacrifice?

You have left the altar many times.

When the Lord wants to fashion you, tell Him, lord, I want to stay at the altar.

You pray for yourself, but I will help one category of people.

You are here and you have never responded to the first call.

It's the call of salvation.

You can never become a world changer until you respond to that call where Jesus says come, follow me, and maybe you are here online or here in the sanctuary.

You have not accepted that call.

I want to give you an opportunity in a minute or two.

Just walk to the front today and you can tell Him Jesus, I am here, you have called me, I have heard and I am coming so that I can follow you.

If we have such a person you want to respond to that call of salvation.

The rest of Jesus will work in your life as you follow Him.

Anybody you have come to the sanctuary, those who are online, you can let us know on the comment section and somebody will reach out to you and lead you to Christ this morning so that you can make that call.

Is there anyone?

As we sing one, just repeat that stanza.

Anybody, we are waiting for you, come.

If today you are saying I want to accept the Lord, jesus Christ and accept the call to salvation, just come, just come.

Jesus.

You do not merit.

He only calls you by His grace.

Anybody else worshiped Him.

Anybody else?

Nothing changes in your life until you first make a response to that call.

That is what Jesus is doing to you this morning.

I wish there was a way we can know whether online there is anybody so that we can pray with them.

One last opportunity Somebody you are saying I have not responded to that call.

Jesus is generously saying come, follow me, and today I will make you Come, follow me, I will make you.

Jesus is saying come.

Jesus is saying come.

He is saying come.

You are the one we are waiting for because Jesus is saying come.

The day of salvation is today.

You have been postponing responding to this call.

Jesus is saying come.

Today is the day that he is inviting you to make that call in the name of Jesus.

Let me request the PDB chair, kindly Just come and lead her to the Lord as I pray.

Father, in Jesus'.

Name, we thank you for your generosity in calling.

You say to Peter come follow me.

There was no merit, there is nothing that made him stand out.

You just said come follow me.

And today you are telling us come follow me and I will make you.

Today, lord, we want to respond to that call as individuals, but also collectively as a church, because the church that we'll allow will respond on a daily basis to the call, the church that will follow the footsteps and the church that will be fashioned after the molding of Christ is the church that will send the light to the world.

Lord, we must confess there are times we have not listened Individually.

There are times we have not responded collectively.

There are times we have not followed individually and there are times we have not followed collectively.

There are times we have been stubborn.

When you are molding us, even when your voice has been so clear, we have refused to be fashioned.

Today, we pray that you forgive us.

We pray that, indeed, one more time, give us one more time, give us one more opportunity.

Lord, release your Holy Spirit upon us with the same message one more time, but also give us the capacity, lord, give us the capacity and power our faith so that indeed we can respond.

We surrender to you this morning, thanking you that you have spoken to us and we know that even throughout the week, you will continue speaking to us In Jesus' name.

We pray Lord.

People say may the Lord bless you.

Oh, you are blessed in Jesus' name.

May the Lord keep you.

May the Lord speak to you this week.

May the Lord indeed show you and order your footsteps this week In Jesus' name.

May the Lord fashion you this week in the name of Jesus.

And you are coming out, by the end of the week, a world changer to offer the glory of our Lord Jesus.

You can do all things, I want to tell you.

You can do all things this week because Christ is going to strengthen you.

And now.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore.
