October Theme Vision Week 2; Exploring the Power of Spirit-Led Excellence: Lessons from Daniel 5

Greetings and blessings to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ.

I have an amazing word for us today, titled Spirit-led Excellents, and this word comes from Daniel, chapter 5, verse 13, up to verse 16.

Daniel 5:13

And the context of it is that King Belshazzar, who was in charge of Babylon, when they were having a party, saw a hand right or a finger right, some things on the wall, and he was shaken.

He could not figure out what it was about.

His wise men and chantas and everyone in the kingdom could not interpret.

But finally they found this one guy called Daniel who could figure it out.

And Daniel was able to figure it out because God's Spirit was in him.

And no wonder the King says in verse 14, I have heard that the Spirit of the Gods is in you and that you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom.

And so the verses I'm reading are Daniel, chapter 5, verse 13, up to verse 16.

Daniel 5:13

So Daniel was brought before the King and the King said to him Are you, daniel, one of the exiles my father, the King, brought from Judah?

I have heard that the Spirit of the Gods is in you and that you have insight.

Listen to this you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom.

The wise men and the unenchanters were brought before me to read this writing and tell me what it means, but they could not explain.

Now I have heard that you are able to give interpretations and to solve difficult problems.

If you can read this writing and tell me what it means, you'll be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around your neck and you'll be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.

Can you imagine if it was you and you are given such an offer?

But let me say three things that Spirit led excellence did for Daniel.

And these three things, if you allow the Holy Spirit to function in your life, god's Spirit will do for you.

Number one Spirit led excellence brings Daniel before the King In verse 13,.

So Daniel was brought before the King and the King said to him Are you, daniel, one of the exiles my father the King brought from Judah?

Spirit led excellence, bring Daniel before the king.

It doesn't matter how hidden you might feel, like you are, but if you allow the Holy Spirit in your life, finally, kings, you'll be brought before kings.

Isaiah, chapter 60, verse 3, says kings will come to the rising of your dune and nations, they will come to your light.

But number 2, spirit led excellence will help you unlock mysteries.

This is what happened for Daniel.

He was able to unlock mysteries and visions that others could not do.

The spirit of excellence is the spirit of revelation, and so he will help you unlock mysteries.

And today you know life is complicated.

It is very coded.

You meet friends who are hiding things, who might lead in the wrong direction, even the business sector, and you need revelation on your daily life.

Daniel was helped to unlock the mysteries by the Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians, 2, verse 9 and 10 says what no eye has seen, no ear heard, no, the heart of man conceived, god has revealed to those who love him.

1 Corinthians 2:9

But finally, spirit led excellence qualifies Daniel for leadership.

God's spirit makes you a leader.

You know, zechariah 4, verse 6 says it's not by power nor by might that you make it, but by God's spirit.

Zechariah 4:6

Daniel offers excellent leadership because of God's spirit.

So what have I said today?

The Spirit led excellence will bring you before kings.

Spirit led excellence will help you unlock mysteries and Spirit led excellence will qualify you for leadership.

And I pray today you'll submit to the Holy Spirit and cause you to rise like Daniel rose in a foreign land, you know, in the diaspora, and he became third in rank in Babylon.

Simply because of the Holy Spirit, I want to say you have a future, you can rise, you can succeed.

A rise and shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
