23rd October Theme Vision: Thriving in Challenging Times: Exploring Biblical Wisdom, Abundance, and Diligence

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and again I want to say we have a great week coming our way and we bless the Lord for bringing us this far.

This month, even as we talk about being world changers, we're emphasizing the theme of the month empowered strategies and today I want to talk about impacting your world.

Why am I sharing this?

Because Daniel impacted his world.

Nobody has forgotten Shadrach, meshach and Abednego.

Nobody has forgotten.

Even the powers of Nebuchadnezzar could not stop these guys.

They are the ones who impacted the world.

And what is this they had that enabled them to impact their world?

That you yourself can also impact your world, not only this week but this year.

Three things they had a mindset of abundance.

Number two, they had a mindset of wisdom.

And number three, they had a mindset of diligence.

I want to start with the first one, the mindset of abundance.

One of the things these guys knew was this they could not lack anything.

God was their provision.

And when you begin to understand that the world has its own challenges, the world has its own valleys and mountains, and when you begin to look into yourself and feel maybe you don't have what it takes, you're not going to survive.

But if you're going to thrive, like Daniel, you must remember this that God is your source of abundance, Abundance in providing for you anything that you need.

And when you talk about abundance, when we talk about just money, we're talking about everything you need.

The Bible says in Philippians 419, my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory.

Your mindset must always be that God is your provision, that when the need come, god will already have the supply.

When you don't know which direction to go, god will show you, the way Jesus said in John 14, 6, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life.

No man comes to the Father, but through me.

You must be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is your provision.

Have a mindset of abundance and you'll survive, you'll thrive in this world.

But secondly, these guys had a mindset of wisdom.

They relied on the wisdom of God.

Proverbs, chapter 24, verse 3, says by wisdom.

Proverbs 24:3

A house is built by understanding.

It is established by knowledge.

Its rooms are filled with precious treasures.

We live in a world, what we are calling the information age.

People have so much information but they have so little wisdom.

And that is why these guys.

They had knowledge.

Knowledge was everywhere, just like today, knowledge is everywhere on the internet, on YouTube, everywhere.

There's so much information, but the world is struggling with the issues of life because there's so little wisdom, and that is why we need to have a mindset of wisdom, relying on what God thinks about a situation and God will tell us.

The Bible says if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask God, and it shall be given to him generously.

God is not holding wisdom.

God wants to give wisdom.

God wants to give wisdom about marriage.

He wants to give wisdom about relationships.

He wants to give wisdom about finances.

He wants to give you wisdom about how to get to heaven.

He wants to give wisdom about how to live on this planet.

He wants to give wisdom about how to parent your children.

God wants to give wisdom and he has already given it.

And if you're going to impact your world, number one, have a mindset of abundance.

But secondly, have a mindset of wisdom.

But thirdly, daniel and his friends had a mindset of diligence.

These guys were diligent.

They were not lazy.

They were diligent in what they did.

They were focused, they knew what they wanted to achieve.

They had goals and they focused on those goals and they were able to achieve those goals.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11.6, and without faith it is impossible to please God.

For whoever you would draw near to God must believe that he is, and that is a reward of those who diligently seek him.

Mindset of diligence Currently we have so many people who are lazy in their faith.

No goals, no focus.

They think that things will just happen.

But God is saying things happen to those who have a purpose, to those who pursue.

And so today, this week, remember this if you're going to impact your world, have a mindset of abundance.

God will provide for you.

Have a mindset of wisdom.

Ask for wisdom, god will give it to you.

But have a mindset of diligence, be focused, be strong, pursue what you want to get and you'll get it, because diligence will be rewarded.
