Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor you're still looking good, better than this morning, and tomorrow you will shine in Jesus' name.

Amen, please give God a big hand.

Amen, amen, be seated.

Be seated, please.

It's always a joy to be in God's house, praying, interceding, doing all these things, because we believe God answers prayer.

You believe that God answers prayer.

That's why we pray.

We also come to hear God's word because we believe that God speaks.

This is not a lecture.

Ambrose has not stood up here to give you a lecture.

In fact, many times when I come up to preach, I'm not just giving you a word, I'm also listening to a word, because as I'm speaking, god is also speaking to me.

So God has a word for you, but also God has a word for me.

So we're all listening.

We are kind of eavesdropping on what God is saying, because there's a conversation that God is having in the spirit realm and we are just privileged to be able to tune in Hallelujah.

So look at your neighbor, tell your neighbor, let your spirit tune in.

Amen.

It is interesting that this is the first day of the month of November.

Isn't God good?

Why don't we appreciate him?

Amen.

And last week, was it last week when I was preaching the other one?

Okay, and I promise you that I would finish my sermon.

But let me tell you this that sermon is, in the spirit, it will not be finished.

And so, because today I want to open up this month's theme, the month of Empowered, empowered, empowered.

Last month it was the month of Empowered Strategy.

One of the strategies we pushed and pushed was the strategy of believing, because I want you to know that there are some things that are getting locked, even though they are for you.

They are locked simply because you're not believing.

And everything that God brings our way, we are able to receive it by believing.

And sometimes we grow and say unless I see, I will not believe.

Now, in the Old Testament, a lot of people dependent on what they saw, the miracles they saw, to believe God.

In the New Testament, jesus told Thomas blessed are those who believe and yet have not seen.

Because we have entered another dimension, we've entered another level.

We go beyond what we call the senses.

When children are small, they need all the senses, they need to feel the mother, so they are carried there all the time.

Hallelujah, when you leave the baby here for just a few minutes the baby begins to be jittery because the baby is not feeling the mother.

So the baby feels the mother when the mother is carrying the baby.

The baby also learns to smell the mother.

Hallelujah.

Because when somebody else picks the baby, the baby doesn't smell the smell of the mother because the mother has connected to this baby in a certain way.

So there are senses.

The baby tests, he tests, he tests, not test, he tests.

He knows how the mother's milk tastes.

So all the five senses hearing, seeing, tasting, all that smelling.

But when the child grows and grows and grows pretty soon, the child doesn't even need to see the mother.

The child will know that mom is around, whether mom is seen or not, hallelujah.

And so this believing thing begins to come to a place where the Bible says the just shall live by faith, the just shall believe, they shall believe God.

Even when he doesn't seem to be close, when he doesn't seem to be felt, you can still believe, you can still connect with this God.

Watch it, because there I spoke about expectation.

Tell your neighbor expectation, because believing creates an expectation.

You begin to expect God to do something.

How does expectation come?

It comes when a word is spoken, when a promise is given.

So, for example, this month God has released a word and he has said is the month of empowered breakthrough, which means there is an expectation An expectation of what?

Of breakthrough.

But you know, you can actually miss that entire breakthrough If you don't have an expectation.

You can walk through the first of November.

You come to the 30th of November, have no breakthrough because you didn't expect it and you did not position yourself for it.

And then you wonder ah, we said this is the month of empowered breakthrough, but I saw no breakthrough.

But let me tell you this, because God has said it God will make it happen, god will release that breakthrough.

For those of you who have this theme vision book, read the declarations of November.

They'll blow your mind because God is setting us up for breakthrough.

In October, when I was talking about believing, I tried to define the word believing, because the word believing sometimes for believers has become so familiar that it loses its power, it doesn't mean anything.

It's like again when you ask somebody do you believe in God?

They say yes, I believe in God.

But if you push Kedogor, you begin to realize they don't believe in God.

They believe in the concept of God.

They have an idol called God in their heads and that God.

If that God lets them down, they scream and shout.

But let me tell you this may you go beyond the concept of God and believe in God himself.

He's the God of breakthrough, and I want to read you a passage that we'll talk about breakthrough, so that we can define it and so that you can connect with it.

I want to read from 2 Samuel, chapter 5, verse 17.

2 Samuel 5:17

Around that time David had been anointed.

He was anointed by Samuel, but now he then got anointed again in Hebron.

Tell your neighbor Hebron, hallelujah, he's anointed.

But as he's anointed, that anointing Causes some people to get scared.

And the people who got scared by the philistines.

And you remember, david had fought with the philistines left and right.

You know, even remember the one time the philistines came and stole everything, stole things from him the malachites, and and he had to Look for them.

So the philistines had been fighting with David all along From the day of gulayah.

And let me tell you this there are some two giants in your life that never seemed to give up.

They keep popping, like gulayah.

Another day they pop out, like the philistines.

Then they pop out and they pop out, and maybe this year they have been popping out.

Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor.

The Lord has an answer for those pop outs, amen.

So listen to this story.

It's an amazing story.

I want to read it from verse 17.

It's what David is speaking here.

There's something that is happening.

It says now, when the philistines heard that they had anointed David, let me tell you this when god anointed you, you are in trouble.

One, as if you were when, when, when, when.

When the enemy hears you have just been anointed, you are in trouble.

You know, for example, every year we have the anointing service, and please begin to prepare for the next year in january for the anointing service, because it's coming.

But it is interesting, when you get that anointing day shows up.

That day after you get anointed, my friend the devil and his relatives just show up and they give you a hard time.

And let me tell you this when trouble hits you from every direction, that is a sign that god has anointed you.

That does not mean the spirit left.

No, the spirit is attracting opposition.

And and these philistines just show up because David was what Anointed.

Now look at that.

Now, when the philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the philistines went up to search for who For David.

Now, david was not giving them any problem, they just showed up because David was Anointed.

And David heard of it and he went down to the stronghold.

So there were places he used to hide, so he went to the stronghold.

The philistines also went and deployed themselves in the valley of refaion.

So David does what he does best Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we shall trust in the name of the Lord, our God.

So David inquired of the Lord.

He went searching for the Lord, saying shall I go up against the philistines?

Now, remember, I like that because he did not go in and start what we call a pity party prayer.

Oh god, the philistines are after me.

God help, what am I going to do?

No, he just said listen, this, the enemy is next to me.

I'm going to fight them.

So David inquired of the Lord saying shall I go up against the philistines?

Will you deliver them into my hand?

And the Lord said to David go up, for I will Doubtless Deliver the philistines into your hand.

Let me tell you this this month the Lord will doubtless Deliver you.

I don't know if somebody had just taken that in Jesus name, the Lord will do something.

He's saying I'm going to fight, this fight for you.

So David went To a place called Baal Perazim and we're going to go back to that word, baal Perazim.

And David defeated them there and he said the Lord has broken through, the Lord has broken through.

So when you're talking about breakthrough, many times we think about it is me who is breaking through.

But God is saying it is me who is breaking through.

The Lord, just go back.

Let me finish that scripture.

Go back to the Lord has broken through.

Okay.

Next sentence my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.

Therefore, he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.

Now let me explain, because sometimes Hebrew words give you problems, but you have somebody who studied Hebrew.

Thank you, jesus.

Now that word Baal.

Where have you ever seen that word Baal?

Huh, the prophet of Baal.

So let me ask you that word, baal.

Is it a bad word?

Let me, let me, let me talk to the people here.

Baal, baal, is the Baal a bad word?

Now, have some confidence.

Is it a good word or is it a bad word, or is it a bad word?

Is it a good word or is it a bad word or is it a neutral?

Word Is neutral.

Okay.

So I'm trying to help you so that you don't use some words in the Bible.

But because Baal has been used in the Bible, so much for the evil gods.

Yes then, baal is not a good word.

But here Baal is being used for who?

For God, because Baal is just a simple word.

It means A master.

That's what it means.

So if you can say master Jesus, and so you can say in Hebrew, baal, jesus is just a neutral word, mr, so and so, but in those days it stands for God, but here it is the Lord Perazim.

Now that word perazim comes from the word Peretz, peretz.

If you're pronouncing the word Peretz, because it is written P-E-R-A-Z in Hebrew the Z is usually T-S, it's a tricet.

So that's how Hebrew say Peretz.

But we say Peretz and some people say and when?

Now, when you say perazim, anytime you put I am on a Hebrew word it becomes plural.

So when you have the word Elohim it means God, but in what?

In plural?

Hallelujah Mananita.

Now, the word perazim means To break through, but it's not just once, to break through many times.

And so it says he called the place Baal perazim because the Lord broke through To the enemies.

Let me tell you this your enemies Cannot defeat God.

But, saeed, if you know that verse that says when the enemy comes like a flood, the Lord will rise up against him, he will lift the spirit of the Lord, will lift A standard against him.

In other words, when the enemy comes to you like a flood, the Lord will also hit the devil like a bigger flood.

So when the enemy comes to you like a flood, the Lord will hit him like a tidal wave, at tsunami.

That's the God yourself.

Come on, give him a big hand as a God yourself.

So David calls that place perazim, the Lord of our breakthroughs.

And so today, as I share because I'm going to just summarize my thoughts I want to say three things.

Number one that empowered breakthrough.

Number one we need to understand the source, the key and the significance of breakthrough.

The source, the key and the significance.

And I want to read another verse in the bible which is found in Micah.

Sometimes we say Micah, um, it's a, it's a book many of you don't read, some of you just like reading Mark John, psalms 23.

So now let me help you read Micah on Micah.

Micah, chapter two, verse 13.

We're talking about the source of breakthrough In the time of David.

Who was the source who brought him the victory God did.

May God be your Baal perazim.

May God breakthrough for you.

Now.

Listen to this.

This is the verse the one who breaks open Will come up before them.

They will break out, pass through the gate and go out by it.

Their king will pass before them with the Lord at their head.

Now let me read the same verse in amplified version.

The amplified it says it this way, brings it out in a nice way.

It says the breaker, the Messiah who opens the way, shall go up before them liberating them.

Now let me say that for you, now, prophetically, for month of.

November, this month.

It doesn't matter what obstacle it is, it doesn't matter what position it is the breaker.

Tell your neighbor the breaker, the Messiah himself who opens the way.

He is opening away for you this month of November.

He is the breaker.

Don't try to break that door.

Your strength is too small.

Hallelujah, you know, have you ever tried hitting a door?

There are some doors that are easy.

You know, you bang it and it opens.

Then there are some doors when you hit it, you find it was made with wood that never moves.

You hit it and you feel it yourself.

One time in September, I used to play soccer Tell your neighbor, amen, by the way, long time ago, when we were still teenagers.

And, by the way, those days, can you imagine those days, our team, which was we used to sustain Nairobi South B, our team was called Liverpool FC.

So this Liverpool thing, I've worked with it for a long time, because you never walk alone.

So one time we were playing football, playing football, playing football, playing football.

Then, as I was running with this, because I played in many places, I used to be a goalkeeper, I played back and also played as a striker.

So this particular time I was right in front with the ball, and so there was this ball I was going out to hit.

I was going to hit this ball when the guy the back on the other team is a solid guy.

So when I hit the ball, he also hit the ball.

So you know, I hit the ball, he also hit the same ball and the ball was between us, but because he had muscles three times mine, it was like I hit a wall.

I felt the vibrations go through my leg.

I realized I had met the breaker.

Let me tell you this the devil is after you, is about to meet the breaker.

The situation that you're facing is about to meet the breaker.

Let the two meet.

Jesus is coming through.

That is your breakthrough and, by the way, I stopped being a striker from that day.

I can tell you amazing things about football.

I can tell you another one.

When I was a goalkeeper this is what made me actually leave soccer I was a goalkeeper and there was a penalty shootout and I was waiting for this ball.

So this guy comes and hits the penalty.

Now, instead of being, like Ronaldo, just just hitting the ball into the corner or hitting the ball through the other corner, the guy hit the ball straight at me.

Let me tell you this I grabbed that ball and I got stuck where I was standing for a few seconds.

I put the ball down, I left the field and I never went back.

I started playing basketball.

Tell your neighbor, amen.

Well, I'm trying to tell you this when a force is meeting with another force, you better be sure that the greater force is on your side.

The Bible says if God is for us, who can be against us?

And for David, when the Philistines attacked him and he said, lord, shall I go up to them?

He said go, for I will with you.

And then God suddenly broke through.

But let me tell you it is very interesting, because the enemy will fight you again and again.

But let me finish this verse.

The breaker, the Messiah, who opens the way, shall go up before them liberating them.

They will break out, pass through the gate and go out.

So their king goes on before them, the Lord at their head, this man, first of November, god, is going before you, he's going ahead of you in Jesus name.

I'll tell your neighbor the Lord is in my.

First of November, second of November, third of November, the fourth of November, the fifth of November and then write dot, dot, dot 30th November.

Yeah, we're going all the way.

Tell your neighbor, we are going all the way in Jesus name.

So whatever the enemy has placed for you, don't worry.

Whatever it is, even on the 10th or the 15th or the 20th, don't care about that.

The Lord is with you today.

The breaker is with you today.

He is your breakthrough.

I don't know if you have caught that, but you must believe it, because sometimes you say I have too many challenges.

The financial challenges for me this month are horrendous.

But let me tell you this the breaker is with you.

The breaker is with you.

He's your source, he's one who fights for you.

Let me go back to second Samuel, because there was another story just after verse chapter five, verse 20.

The Bible says this chapter five, verse 20.

All right.

So David went to Baal, to Baal perazim, and there he defeated them and he said as waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.

So that place was called Baal perazim.

Now you think the fight is finished.

But look at this sometimes the devil has no share.

The devil tends to just show up again.

Look at the next verse.

The Philistines abandon their idols there and David and his men carried, and they left their images there, and David and his men carried them away.

Now look at the next verse.

Then the Philistines went up once again and deployed themselves in the valley of Rafaim.

Therefore, david inquired of the Lord again, and that is why I'm going to that next point.

The next point is the key.

The key to your breakthrough is prayer.

The key to your breakthrough is what it's prayer.

David inquired the first time and God gave him a breakthrough.

The enemy comes again.

And what does David do?

He inquires again.

So he says.

Therefore, david inquired of the Lord and he said you are.

So David inquired of the Lord and he said you shall not go up the first time.

What did the Lord say?

Go up.

So sometimes in prayer, please listen to instruction, because sometimes the Lord changes his instruction, hello.

Therefore, david inquired of the Lord and he said you shall not go up.

So he told him instead, circle around behind them and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees, and it shall be.

When you hear the sound of marching in the top of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly, for then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines, and David did so as the Lord commanded him, and he drove back the Philistines from Geber as far as Gezer.

Let me tell you this if the Lord fought for you in October and the enemy shows up again in November, you will still go through.

You will still go through why the Lord is your source of breakthrough.

The key to that breakthrough is one it's prayer Prayer.

Don't give up on prayer, and remember this.

The second prayer may have a different instruction Jeremiah 33, verse 3,.

Jeremiah 33:3

Let me read that for us.

This is a verse you know.

Jeremiah 33, verse 3, it says call to me and I will do one.

Jeremiah 33:3

I will answer you and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

So there are things you don't know.

When you inquire, the Lord will show you.

Tell your neighbour, don't give up on prayer.

Amen.

The Lord wants to breakthrough.

He is perazim.

Now I want to go to the third part, the significance of breakthrough.

Significance.

While I'm getting there, let me say this why would you need a breakthrough anyway?

Because in life we face opposition.

A breakthrough happens when there is pressure mounting up, when there is luck, you need breakthrough.

When you're in bondage, you need breakthrough.

When there's a sense of limitation, you need breakthrough, and the Lord is the source of your breakthrough.

By the way, the word perets that word perets is an interesting word.

There was a guy in the Bible who was called peres.

I don't know if you've ever read that Peres.

It's a very interesting story.

Of course, you know, when the Bible puts some things in the Bible, when God put things in the Bible, he just puts them the way they are.

Because the story of peres is very interesting?

Because it was a story of incest where a father gave his daughter to the son and the son refused to take her and so the daughter had no way to get children.

So the daughter set up the father and in setting up, the father found a way of sleeping with him.

Then she got pregnant with twins.

Those are stories in the Bible.

Sometimes we don't understand why God put them in the Bible, but he just happens to put them in the Bible, because life happens.

Tell your neighbor, life happens.

When it happens, it just happens.

There's no theology in it, it just happened.

That's the story of peres, very interesting story.

But I want to show you where the word, why it's called peres and how important, how significant that is for you.

I want to read it in Genesis, chapter 38.

Genesis 38 · chapter mention

I want to read verse 27.

Genesis 38.

So that you're able to read some of these stories.

They're interesting stories.

It says this now, it came to pass.

This is now the lady she's about to give birth.

Now, it came to pass at the time.

Let me read this in the NIV, please, all right.

When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb as she was giving birth.

This is a very interesting story.

As she was giving birth, one of them put out his hand, and so the midwife took a scarlet thread and tied it on his wrist and said this one came out fast.

Interesting is this.

But when he drew back his hand now, remember, this is happening in the labor ward, hello when he drew back his hand, his brother came out and she said so, this is how you have broken out, and he was named Prez.

Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his wrist, now came out and he was named Zara.

Now let me read this in the New King James version, or let me read it in the amplified, because it says it's interesting in the amplified.

So every time you talk about breakthrough, remember it is a breaking out, breaking through.

Now, when it came time for her to give birth, there were twins in her womb and when she was in labor, one baby put out his hand and the midwife took his hand and tied a scarlet thread on it saying this one was born fast.

But he pulled back his hand and his brother was born fast and she said what a breach.

Now that what breach means a break?

It means a breakthrough, a break.

It says what a breach you have made for yourself to be the fast born.

So he was named Perez.

Breach, break forth.

Hallelujah.

After what, his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his hand, was born and was named Zara.

Zara means brightness.

Let me tell you this there are people who are brighter than you, but you're about to break before them.

I'm telling you you're about to break before them.

You're about to break you for them.

There are situations that are coming your way.

There are new ideas that are about to break through into your life.

May the dumb ideas not come out.

May great ideas be the ones to come forth fast.

In Jesus name.

So that's what Perez is used in many ways in the Bible and it was interesting.

I found some of them and they just translated differently.

Let me give you one of them Proverbs 3, 10.

This is a verse you know, proverbs 3, verse 10.

Proverbs 3:10

It says this Let me read nine, because then 10 will make sense.

Nine says this Honor the Lord with your what, your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase.

Now look at the next verse.

So your bonds will be filled with plenty and your vats will Perez with new wine.

It means it will overflow.

Let me tell you this this month, there's an overflow coming your way.

There's an increase coming your way, an overflow that you did not create, an overflow that God will create for you.

Some of you will be so shocked.

There are resources that are in secret places, that are about to be released to you, secret places.

There's wisdom that you didn't have in October that God is bringing your way in the month of November.

There's wisdom Some of you will be so shocked.

There's a suddenly coming your way.

And who is engineering it?

The source.

And who is the source?

The Lord.

And what is the key Prayer and the significance is this the Lord will provide for you, the Lord will fight your battle.

So that word overflow means they come from the word Perez.

Let me give you another one Genesis 30 30.

Genesis 30 30 is the story of Jacob and Laban and how Laban was giving him challenges in the marketplace.

But listen to this.

That's a conversation, for what you had before I came was little.

Now he's telling Laban For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount.

That word increased is the word Perez.

You're going to increase this month.

I'm saying you're going to increase this month.

Tell your neighbor there's a Perez in my life.

Yeah, there's a breakthrough in my life, amen.

Yes, I don't know if you have ever watched this National Geographic about extreme weather.

I'm talking to extreme weather where, where, where there's, there's a flood and the rivers burst their banks and then, as they go, they burst their banks into the town and then they are carrying vehicles and houses.

The force of the water is so much that it carries everything in front of it.

Let me tell you this there's a river from heaven that is going to carry all the obstacles on your way from you, in Jesus name, in November 2023.

I don't know if somebody has picked that up in Jesus name.

Yes, by the time you show up, the path will be cleaned out.

The path will be cleaned out.

Your month is being cleaned out by the forces of God, the parades of God, the breakthrough of God in Jesus name.

God is going to increase you, god is going to enlarge you.

Same chapter 30.

I want to read the verse 43, because this is the last verse in that chapter talking about Jacob.

It says this Thus the man that is Jacob became what?

Exceedingly prosperous and had large flocks and female and male servants and camels and donkeys.

So go back that word.

Just go back to verse 43.

He became exceedingly prosperous.

That word exceedingly is that translated Hebrew word parades.

He became breakthrough, prosperous, not just a few feelings.

Hello, if, when God shows up that's what I'm telling you this month God is showing up, when he shows up in your life, the breakthroughs that are going to come your way will be exceedingly, abundantly, above what you ask or imagine, and it all depends on your believing.

Do you believe it?

Let me say this you're going to have an uncommon victory.

You're going to have an uncommon victory.

You're going to overwhelm the opposition in Jesus' name, hallelujah.

Let me give you another one more word verse on parades Isaiah 54, verse 3.

Isaiah 54:3

Isaiah 54, verse 3, says this and this one, you know it's a good verse and it says this For you shall do what Expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations.

Isaiah 54:3

Of course, the previous verse.

If you go to verse 3, the previous, I think it's verse 2, go back to verse 3.

Verse 2 it says this Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings.

Do not spare.

Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.

Why?

For you shall expand.

Let me read that in the amplified version, just that, verse 3.

Because that's parades.

You shall boom, break the boundaries, for you will spread out to the right and to the left.

You are about to parades to the right and to the left.

You are about to break out.

So do what, get ready, expand the mind, stretch it forth, begin to believe for things that you never believed, god for Because God is about to break through for you.

He's about to break through for you.

I'm saying he's about to break through for you.

He's about to break through for you, in Jesus' name, empowered breakthrough.

I needed to define these words for you, so that when we talk about breakthrough this month, you will know what we are talking about.

We are on the same page and the breakthrough is not you breaking through walls, the breakthrough is God breaking the walls for you.

Amen, he is the source.

Remember the pastor said the breaker.

He is your breaker, he will go through, he is in front of you.

You can trust Him, you can depend on Him.

Hallelujah, may those angels come your way.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and he does what he delivers them.

And you know, angels are like the security detail.

You know, sometimes, when a dignitary is going through the crowd, sometimes they can get crushed by the crowd, by the security detail are doing what A pushing people aside?

The angels are breaking through for you so that you can pass easily, without being overwhelmed by the crowd.

And the crowd may be the problems, the worries, the anxieties, the pressures of life, but God has released His angels To be your protocol.

I'm saying the angels will be your protocol this month.

They will be your protocol this month, and so please stand on your feet as I read this verse.

Since we are talking about angels, how many of you believe in angels.

Now let me say it this other way we don't believe in angels so that angels can save us.

Only God can save us.

But we believe in angels because we know that God has released them for us, and there are many of them.

So Psalms 91 says this God.

Psalms 91 because that is the heavenly protocol that God has given to us.

He says he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide.

So let's read it together One, two go.

He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord.

He is my refuge and my fortress, my God.

In Him I will trust.

Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings you shall take refuge.

His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon day.

A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.

Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked, because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most high.

You are dwelling in place.

No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling, for he shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in some of your ways.

Amen.

So go back.
