Come on, let's give God a big, big hand.
-
You know, king Charles was here the other day.
-
Now the king of kings is in the house.
-
We better give him a big, big hand.
-
Please be seated Just briefly and look at your neighbor.
-
Tell your neighbor you're looking good, better than last month, and this month you will shine in Jesus' name.
-
Matter matter, sparkle, sparkle, shiny, shiny.
-
Wear shades plus career umbrella Amen.
-
It is so good to be in God's house and you're looking so nice.
-
You should be standing here and seeing yourself.
-
You look amazing.
-
Just a couple of acknowledgments.
-
We want to appreciate visitors who are in our medist reverend Jerry Dillard, we want to appreciate your presence coming from the greater Pioneer Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, georgia.
-
Amen, hararuya, amen.
-
Also want to appreciate a lady I've seen in the service from Phoenix Arizona, esther.
-
Please stand, and I know her family is also here.
-
God bless you.
-
Santa Esther, amen.
-
When I was in Phoenix Arizona recently thank you Jesus she hosted me.
-
I was in her house, amen, amen.
-
And her son, josie, was my personal driver while I was there, amen.
-
So this family is a blessed family.
-
In Atomebariki was Santa Buenos.
-
If you will, we also want to stand with the Leverence Church across the board.
-
Our brother, our friend Apostle Dr Joe Kayo rested recently and he entered glory, and so we want to stand with the Leverence Church concerning this matter, and Apostle Joe Kayo was a good friend.
-
He preached in this church.
-
Amen, and we thank God for a life well lived to the glory of God, and let's pray for the church, the leaders, bishop Mark Aoki and the entire team at this time as they celebrate his life.
-
Buenos, if you will, I want also you to congratulate each other for how well you performed last week during the fire drill.
-
Amen, yes, come on, appreciate yourself.
-
Amen, amen.
-
I don't know what you are thinking when the smoke went up and the alarm went on, but we were told that all of us were outside in our various stations within five minutes.
-
Amen, that was amazing and we really want to appreciate each one of you for just cooperating with our fire marshals and everybody who was there and the team that organized that.
-
We also want to let you know that our Parklands Baptist School is currently interviewing four children to come to our school here.
-
We have interviews tomorrow and Tuesday and then on the 14th and the 15th we want to welcome the primary school, the JSS school.
-
The principal is the principal here, mr Kirui, that short man, but I come here so that people upstairs can see you.
-
This short gentleman from the hills, ukuju, is our principal, mr Kirui, hallelujah, and I don't want him to say anything because when he starts talking he usually talks for three hours nonstop.
-
So, principal, we appreciate you.
-
God bless you, sal.
-
I remember when we were getting the JSS junior secondary school ready, mr Kirui used to come with a school uniform, the red blazer, and he used to sit here looking very interesting, but that is his passion, one, as if it were.
-
We thank God for that.
-
Last week, I promised kicks for those who are having birthdays between the 29th and the 5th of November.
-
Some of us were very eager.
-
You sent your names and your birthday is in December.
-
Tell your neighbor, that is great faith, hello.
-
And so I also asked you to write your names down and give them to JJ or to Riggs, and thank God for those who gave their names immediately.
-
They are those who gave names much later, but your names needed to come in that same day, and so the list that we have is for 39 names.
-
Those were 39 kicks that have been baked by none other than Martha Nyong'au and then paid for by Pastor Ambrose.
-
And so when you go to the table where the cakes are and your name was not written you didn't write it anywhere except on your ID Please do not go to that table.
-
This is an instruction.
-
Don't even go to pick.
-
Don't go.
-
If your name was written, you are called yesterday and so you know yourself.
-
Now, this promise was just for this last week.
-
I have not made any other promise.
-
This is a disclaimer, so that you say but Pastor said, yes, I said, but for that limited time.
-
Who knows, god may inspire me, especially when Pastor Maschine is having a birthday, but since he's planting trees, he doesn't need any cake.
-
But we want to thank God.
-
So those are things I needed to bring to your attention before we go very far.
-
And I would like to ask us now to stand as we read the scriptures and we give God the glory and the praise.
-
This month is the sub thing, for this month is what Empowered Breakthroughs.
-
I want to read from 2 Samuel, chapter 5, 17 to 20, a short story about David.
2 Samuel 5 chapter mention
-
And he's the one who came up with that statement, the Lord of breakthroughs.
-
And so it says in verse 17,.
-
I want to read from verse 17.
-
Second Samuel, chapter 5, verse 17 to 20.
-
Now, when the Philistines had that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David.
-
And David heard of it and went down to the stronghold.
-
The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the valley of Refaim.
-
So David inquired of the Lord, saying shall I go against the Philistines?
-
Will you deliver them into my hand?
-
And the Lord said to David go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.
-
And so David went to Baal Perazim and defeated them there.
-
And he said the Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breakthrough of water.
-
Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
-
This is God's word.
-
And God's people said shall we be seated as I pray Again, appreciating those in the pavilion, those watching us online?
-
God bless you, father, thank you that your Holy Spirit is here with us.
-
And so, holy Spirit, open our eyes to behold wondrous things in your word.
-
For, holy Spirit, all scripture is inspired by you, profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully equipped, ready for every good work.
-
And so anoint our ears, anoint our hearts, anoint us even as we put your word into action, and may you receive all the glory and all the praise, because we have prayed in Jesus' name and God's people said amen.
-
As you know, one of the things, as you introduce a subject, you have to define certain words, because then they help you understand what you're talking about.
-
The word breakthrough, or breakthroughs, comes from the word we've just read, perazim.
-
Tell your neighbor perazim, now, perazim, is it a singular word or is it plural?
-
I'm asking.
-
If you don't know, you just say I don't know.
-
Is it singular or plural?
-
Plural?
-
Why is it plural?
-
Okay, for those who don't know, in Hebrew, when you add the two letters I am on a word, it becomes plural.
-
In English, you add an S, it becomes plural.
-
For example, el Shaddai, el Shaddai.
-
By the way, shaddai is also plural, but it's just another word.
-
But El stands for what?
-
God?
-
So you can say God Shaddai.
-
El Shaddai, by the way, for your information, means breasts.
-
So if it is one breast, you say Shadd.
-
When there are two, you say Shaddai.
-
So when God says I am El Shaddai, the mighty one, it just means Elohim, the God who, the breasted one, the provider of milk that never runs dry.
-
Hallelujah, that's El Shaddai.
-
That's what it means.
-
And so God in himself has a female side in him, in terms like a mother Hallelujah, he's the breasted one.
-
When we say the breasted one, don't look at the those one.
-
I told you Bodybuilders.
-
Don't look at that.
-
It is the one who provides our nourishment on a day-to-day basis.
-
But El Elohim now you see, an I am has been added.
-
So Elohim is God in plural, and that is why the Bible says in Genesis and God said let us let Elohim make man in his own image, in the image of God.
-
He made them male and female.
-
He made them so Elohim.
-
If you wrote it in English properly, it is actually G-O-D-S.
-
Hello, this is just a lesson helping you.
-
Are we?
-
together.
-
So those are Hebrew words.
-
Sometimes when they're written in English you sometimes don't understand them.
-
So the word perazim is plural, coming from the word peretz.
-
Now peretz is written P-R-E-Z, but in reality in Hebrew it is written T-S, so you say peretz, like people in western Kenya.
-
When you say it like that, you have that T-S.
-
Now what I've just said for the help of some is ground nuts.
-
So peretz is a brick in a wall or a tear in a cloth.
-
It is a brick that sometimes, when water feels a dam and breaks it, there is a breakthrough.
-
Are you telling this?
-
That's peretz Perazim.
-
If you ever get time to read a story of a mother who was giving birth, it's in Genesis.
-
Very interesting story.
-
She had twins, so when one was coming out, it is the hand that came out and the lady who was helping the midwife took a red ribbon and tied the hand of this boy, but then the hand went back into the womb and the other boy came out fast and this boy who came out or passed through was called peretz because he broke through before the other one, and so this word.
-
Sometimes, when you think of breakthrough and empowerment, we want to break through into this situation.
-
Sometimes we don't consider it used for God, because David uses it for God and said God has broken through and he called the place Baal perazim.
-
Baal those days is just God's, or a word for God, or a word for Lord, or a word for Mr or Sir, so you can say, like when we used to say Sir Charles, you can say Sir Peraz, hello, the Lord of the breakthrough.
-
That's what we are talking about this week and this coming month, in fact, not coming this month.
-
So let me read this verse in Micah, or Micah, chapter 2, verse 13.
-
It's a book you have not read this year, but so it will help you to just fill in one of your achievements to having read this book Micah.
-
Micah, chapter 2, verse 13, says the one who breaks open will come before them.
-
They will break out, pass through the gate and go out by it.
-
Their king will pass before them with the Lord at their head.
-
Now, when you read this in the amplified, this is what it says.
-
Same verse it says the breaker.
-
Now it identifies who the breaker is and who is this breaker, the Messiah.
-
And he says the breaker, the Messiah who opens the way.
-
Oh, ladies and gentlemen, may God open the way for you in this month of November.
-
May the Messiah go ahead before you and break through.
-
You don't have to struggle.
-
Let him break through for you.
-
The breaker, the Messiah, who opens the way, shall go up before them liberating them.
-
They will break out, pass through the gate and go out so their king goes on before them, the Lord at their head.
-
May the Lord be at your head.
-
May you seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you.
-
The character for this month is Joseph.
-
Tell your neighbor Joseph.
-
God is using Joseph to begin to explain to us what breakthrough is all about.
-
Joseph had a very interesting life.
-
He was beloved.
-
He was the 11th child of Jacob.
-
Jacob had a big family.
-
I think it was a Kenyan family.
-
How many wives did Jacob have?
-
Now, ask your neighbor if they ever visited Sunday school, just so.
-
How many wives did Jacob have?
-
Two, four, okay.
-
So how many are we saying okay, so that we don't argue?
-
There is who is the first, one layer, the other one, okay.
-
Who are the others?
-
Bill, her, zilpa, hariruya.
-
Now, just so I can help some people understand where we are, go to Genesis, chapter 37, we are reading verse one, the story of Joseph, very quickly, because we're putting some of these things together now.
Genesis 37 chapter mention
-
Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Kenan.
-
This is the history of Jacob.
-
Joseph, being 17 years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers, and the Lord was with the sons of who, bill, her, and the sons of Zilpa, his fathers.
-
Thank you, jesus.
-
So, even though they are concubines, they are also called wives.
-
Now, this is just a family.
-
God is not trying to explain or give a principle that when you become a Christian you should have four wives.
-
That's what.
-
What he's saying.
-
It just life happens.
-
And if you read the story of Jacob, just life happened to him.
-
He ended up with 12 children.
-
Now you have Joseph.
-
Okay, there was also a daughter somewhere, but they have.
-
Jacob is 11 in that line, he's 17, and the Bible says God began to work in his life because God had a plan.
-
Tell your neighbor, god has a plan.
-
The plan of Joseph was this this is Joseph, this is what he was, he's going to go through and this is the nation he's going to impact.
-
This is Joseph.
-
He's 17, he's cocky, he's proud, he does whatever he wants to do, and yet God has a plan for him.
-
God knows that if he takes Joseph to Egypt when he's 17 and puts him on that throne in Pharaoh's house, everything is going to go haywire.
-
There are some of us who want to go to state house, but currently we have a village mindset, and staying in a city to be taken to state house with a village mindset, you're going to bring this country down.
-
So God makes sure that he has to break through into your life and prepare you for that state.
-
So my three major points are this your mindset needs to be dealt with so that the landscape you go through will model you and prepare you to go to the high state where God wants you to release an impact.
-
So three points mindset, landscape, high state, not deep state.
-
Take note of that, hallelujah.
-
So God knew that there's nothing that can happen here until God deals with Joseph's mindset.
-
And how does he do that?
-
By beginning to break through into this boy's life through dreams.
-
And so in Genesis 37, verse 5, this is what the Bible says very quickly now, now that you know the picture, and this is what the Bible says now, joseph had what?
-
What did he have a dream?
-
Now, joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers and they hated him even more.
-
So he said to them please hear this dream which I have dreamed.
-
There we were binding sheaves in the field.
-
Then, behold my shift.
-
Now, remember, he's quite cocky 17.
-
And he's saying and it depends how he said it, there, there, we were binding sheaves in the field.
-
Then, behold, my shift arose and also stood upright and indeed your shifts stood all around and bowed to my shift.
-
And his brother said to him now they are now interpreting the dream for him, but he doesn't know.
-
God is trying to get into this guy's mindset.
-
He's beginning to tell him I have great plans for you, I have a great future for you, but I want you to allow me to shift your brain, to shift your mindset, so that you can get ready for what is I'm about to do.
-
And he's saying young man, open your heart.
-
The Bible says in Revelation behold, I stand at the door and knock.
-
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him.
-
One of the biggest challenges that God has concerning humanity is that they have refused to let him through.
-
The Bible says in John, chapter 1, verse 11,.
-
He came to his own people, but his own people did not receive him.
-
But then there was a remnant.
-
It says but to those who received him, he gave them the power to become.
-
When your mindset begins to change, you begin to become, you begin to get formed, you begin to shift and you begin to change.
-
Hallelujah and Joseph needed that changing.
-
So God uses dreams and this guy begins to dream.
-
And let me say this there are people who made a lot on dreams.
-
I dreamt this.
-
I dreamt that, you know, the lion was chasing me and I wasn't able to reach very far.
-
How many of you have had those dreams?
-
Some of them have ever dreamt that you were in a field and there was money everywhere, money, money.
-
You were picking dollars, you were picking them and just before you put them in your pocket you woke up and it was just and you feel so bad.
-
Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
Then you decide I need to go back to sleep to continue that dream.
-
But you know, there are some dreams that God uses to just communicate his word.
-
He just wants to use dreams to communicate his word.
-
Let me give you a few examples here very quickly.
-
One of them is found in Ephesians.
-
Of course not Ephesians.
-
Matthew 2,28.
-
Very quickly, just so that you understand these dreams and what kind how God communicates Matthew 2,28.
-
The Bible says this 28.
-
Matthew 2,28.
-
Or there's no 28.
-
Ah, okay, maybe I let me take this other one, matthew 2,22.
-
Let me read that the Bible says but when he heard that Achelas was raining over Judea now who is that?
-
So go to verse 21.
-
Verse 21.
-
Amakuna 21.
-
Then he arose, took the young child and his mother who is that?
-
Joseph Joseph and came into the land of Israel.
-
And then the Bible says but when he heard that Achelas was raining over Judea instead of his father, herod, he was afraid to go there.
-
And, being warned by God, how, in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee.
-
So God was communicating to him.
-
Matthew 2,19.
-
Let me read that for us Matthew 2,19.
-
Then the Bible says now, when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to who?
-
To Joseph, in Egypt, saying arise, take the young child you know and go back home, tell your neighbor, amen.
-
So God uses dreams to communicate certain things that are important to us.
-
But let me tell you this God has really helped us, so that sometimes dreams confuse you.
-
One of the things God has done is given us the scriptures.
-
The Bible says all scripture is inspired by God, profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully equipped, ready for every good work.
-
So don't so much rely on dreams, but, when they come, assess them according to the word of God.
-
One time I had a dream.
-
I was sleeping this is many years ago and I dreamt that a snake had grabbed my big toe and I was walking in the field.
-
I was just walking and suddenly this snake grabbed my toe.
-
I started jumping up and down in the field trying to get the snake off my feet.
-
What I didn't know is that, when I was sleeping, the blanket that I had covered myself had a hole in it, and somehow, in my movements in the bed, my big toe had entered that hole, and so, subconsciously, I began to have a dream that a snake is on.
-
So in my dream, basically, I was just shaking in my bed trying to get my toe out of.
-
Now let me tell you this I cannot interpret that dream.
-
It has no spiritual significance.
-
It was just a toe that had gone through a hole in the blanket.
-
Maybe God was telling me get another.
-
Thank you, jesus.
-
I didn't understand that at that time.
-
By the way, it's a long time ago, so don't blame Martha.
-
That was many, many years ago when we were staying in Iceland.
-
God is good and all the time.
-
So God is trying to get through the mindset of this guy and he's using dreams and slowly he begins to understand the purposes of God.
-
Of course he could not interpret them.
-
Much later he would interpret many dreams, but at this particular time God was opening his mind.
-
The Bible says in Romans 12, verse 2, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
-
And renewing of the mind doesn't happen once a week or once a month.
-
It happens on a daily basis.
-
Let God's word shift your mind, change your mind and some of us.
-
Our mind really needs to be changed.
-
How?
-
Through your imagination.
-
What are you imagining?
-
What are you thinking about?
-
God is trying to deal with you through your thoughts.
-
The Bible says for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways.
-
And then he says but I want my thoughts to become your thoughts, to change your mindset.
-
God wants to bring new ideas in your mind.
-
Some of us are stuck with our old ideas.
-
We don't want to change our village mindset.
-
We are holding onto it so hard and we just want to be there.
-
But God is saying I am taking you places.
-
God is giving you books.
-
Some of us, the last time we read books was when we left high school.
-
When we left college, we forgot books.
-
Let me tell you this you need to be a reader.
-
Just look at your neighbor and ask your neighbor which book did you read last week?
-
I know they are saying I didn't read a book, but you are surfing the net all over Now if you cannot read a book.
-
Get information.
-
Go to Google.
-
Get proper, good information, not about who ate this and who ate that and who did this and who did that.
-
Get good information.
-
The Bible says by wisdom.
-
A house is built by understanding, it is established by knowledge and it's rooms are filled with precious treasures.
-
Get good ideas.
-
The Bible says whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is a good report, think about these things.
-
Think about them.
-
And so God was reaching out to this guy through visions, through ideas, and something began to shift.
-
Something began to change and I want to tell you this for those who are stuck with the mindset of the past, the Lord is not able to use you in the future.
-
But I want to go quickly from mindset to landscapes, because at landscape level, life began to happen for Joseph.
-
And let me tell you this life will happen to you very quickly when you begin to seek the mind of God.
-
The Bible says this in Genesis 37, verse 18, if I can read those few verses very quickly, because crazy things began to happen to this boy.
-
The Bible says he had gone to visit his brothers and the Bible says now, when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to doer, to kill him.
-
Then they said to one another look, this dreamer is coming.
-
Come.
-
Therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit and we shall say some wild beast has devoured him.
-
We shall see what will become of his dreams.
-
But let me tell you this when God gives you a dream, there is nobody who can stop you, there is nobody who can derail you, because God will give you something that he will come bring to pass, like he said always, I keep repeating this verse God is not a man that he should.
-
He is not a son of man that he should change his mind.
-
When God gives you his dream, I'm telling you that the devil cannot stop it, because the devil doesn't even know what that dream is about.
-
Let me finish that scripture.
-
So the brothers are conspiring, they want to kill him, but thank God, one of the brothers by the name of Ruben, but Ruben had it and he delivered him out of their hands and said let us not kill him.
-
And Ruben said to them shed no blood, but cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him, that he might deliver him out of their hands and bring him back to his father.
-
And they took him and cast him into a pit.
-
And the pit was empty.
-
There was no water in it and they sat down to eat a meal.
-
Then they lifted their eyes and looked and there was a company of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead with their camels bearing spices, balm and ma, on their way to carry them down to Egypt.
-
Let me tell you this sometimes you may have a dream, but your friends have thrown you into a pit, situations have thrown you into a pit.
-
In other words, life is happening, you have a dream, you have something to bring to pass, but life is happening.
-
On the way to that dream and we want to serve God you end up making a lady pregnant who is not your wife.
-
Life just happens.
-
You start dealing with issues of children, of a wife, of a lady, come we stay, and life is happening and that which God wants to fulfill in your life seems to be going to be derailed by the life that is happening to you.
-
But let me tell you this with those landscapes, god will not take away that dream.
-
He will still put that dream.
-
It will still be alive.
-
So don't let the happenings of life stop you from trusting God.
-
If Joseph had to allow those things now he's in the pit he says, oh God, I'm in a pit.
-
Please, I want to go home.
-
I don't want to go to this place.
-
God, take me back to my father.
-
Let me tell you this this guy was going to stay a long time from seeing his father From that comfort zone.
-
He was going to see nothing, because God was not interested in just making him dream about his family.
-
God was interested in about giving him a dream that would change a nation.
-
God thought of a nation.
-
Then he looked for a boy who could allow his mindset to be prepared for that stage.
-
Let me ask you are you prepared for the stage of life God wants you to make a difference?
-
We are talking about being world changers, but God is saying, before he reaches here, his mindset needs to be changed.
-
But I'm going to take him through the landscape of life, very uneven landscape, but it will teach him, it will help him and begin to prepare him for this place.
-
Many examples in the Bible Daniel, shadrach, meshach and Abednego.
-
Chapter one they are in Babylon.
-
They are excelling, but in the process Nebuchadnezzar begins to beat on them, put them in the fire.
-
Daniel ends up in the pit of lions.
-
Landscape problems.
-
But let me tell you this the God who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.
-
Come on, let's give God a big hand.
-
So don't get stuck with the challenges of the landscape.
-
They are building you up, they are preparing you.
-
You have a child.
-
You're married.
-
It is not a legal marriage.
-
Come we stay.
-
You're stuck with those things.
-
You have debts, you have issues.
-
But let me tell you this.
-
Focus on God.
-
Repent for what you need to repent, ask for forgiveness, but rise up and keep going.
-
David is in Potiphar's house.
-
Another problem is happening.
-
He's in Potiphar's house, god is blessing him, things are going very fine and he just feels Maze, I've reached, I'm going according to plan.
-
And then another lady shows up who completely wants to delay, to derail him.
-
But he has a mindset, he has a way of thinking.
-
This lady grabs him.
-
You talk about men raping ladies.
-
This lady wanted to rape Joseph.
-
A crazy scenario.
-
And Joseph said look, it is a bad thing where your husband is concerned.
-
It is even worse where God is concerned.
-
And he took off.
-
Guess what the lady goes.
-
It is like a movie.
-
He goes and tells the husband Maze, this is what happened.
-
And she screams this guy wants to rape me.
-
Of course, potiphar is not thinking twice.
-
He throws this guy into prison and Joseph is wondering why is all this happening?
-
I thought when I was dreaming, people were worshiping me, people were bowing before me.
-
What is this?
-
I'm in prison, but guess what?
-
Genesis, chapter 39, verse 23 look at what God says here.
-
Amazingly, let me tell you this God is with you.
-
I'm saying God is with you.
-
You may be a single mother, but let me tell you this you're going to affect nations.
-
In Jesus name, god is with you.
-
You may be a single father means a child, amen, but the Bible says this he's in prison and the Bible says the keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because the Lord was with Joseph and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.
-
That's David in prison.
-
That is you in your prison.
-
The Lord will still cause you to do what prosper life happens.
-
I dreamed how a dream happened.
-
But now life happens.
-
But it is taking you closer to your miracle.
-
He thought he was going down, you know, into the pit Potiphar's house, into prison, down, down, down.
-
His perspective was down, down, down.
-
God's perspective was what.
-
The pit was up.
-
Potiphar was up because the next stage is where there's prison.
-
After prison is what is Potiphar's house?
-
I mean Pharaoh's house.
-
And so guess what?
-
God is still talking.
-
He talks to Joseph in a dream, then he talks to guys in prison in a dream, and then he talks to Pharaoh in a dream to get Joseph into the high state.
-
Tell your neighbor, from my mindset, through the landscape, I'm heading to the high state in Jesus name.
-
Tell your neighbor you may not believe it, but I believe it.
-
It is my portion.
-
I have faced my own challenges.
-
I have fallen, but I have reason.
-
My eyes are on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of my faith.
-
So if you don't believe me, you wait until I'm the highest state.
-
When I'm there, envy me because I'm in high places in Jesus name.
-
Let me tell you this God is taking you to the high place.
-
It may not just be a position physically, it may be a place of influence.
-
It may be a place where your life, that your story, begins to change other people's lives, because the landscape writes your story and it is not your story, it is his story.
-
That is why it is called his story, hallelujah.
-
Your story is good.
-
It has issues in them, but it is good.
-
It is the only God writing it out, not you.
-
So Joseph finds himself on the other side and let me read you those verses how he reached there, and I'm telling you God is a good God.
-
Let me tell you this the landscape may be challenged because of family ishma lights, potifer, potifer's wife, prison, two officials.
-
But guess what?
-
Even if you're forgotten for two years.
-
God remembers you.
-
God does what remembers you.
-
So God goes to state house and makes the Pharaoh to begin to dream, and he cannot decipher the dream and so he looks for everybody.
-
Then one of the officials remembers I.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's a guy who interpreted.
-
Let me tell you this somebody will remember your service to them, somebody will remember.
-
Others may forget, but somebody will remember your skill.
-
Somebody will remember your service, and one you are really needed.
-
They are the ones who will recommend you.
-
You know, there are people sometimes who want umbrellas to recommend them.
-
So because I'm the senior pastor they sent us, say umbrellas, give us your recommendation.
-
When I look at the name, I don't know that person.
-
I don't know their history, I have no idea.
-
So what kind of things am I going to write?
-
A very short note this person is a member of Parklands Baptist Church.
-
I have seen him in the services and sometimes I've seen him on the screen.
-
But I vouch for you that he comes to Parklands Baptist Church full stop and that's the recommendation.
-
But let me tell you this they are people you have impacted, who know you, and they will recommend you.
-
And these people recommended this boy to Pharaoh.
-
He was able to decipher the dream, he was able to give the direction forward.
-
And now listen to what now happened, because I'm finishing with this Genesis 41, verse 37.
-
The Bible says this it was amazing story.
-
It says so.
-
The advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh.
-
Let me read this in the NIV version so the advice was good.
-
I hope your advice to people is good.
-
Hello.
-
Now, in this one it says the plan.
-
So the plan seemed good to Pharaoh and to all his officials.
-
So Pharaoh asked them can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?
-
Then, for our said to Joseph, since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you.
-
Let me ask you where do you think he got all the discerning from?
-
From where the landscape.
-
He began.
-
He became patient, he persevere, he knew how to deal with situations in Farah's, in Potiphar's house.
-
He knew how to handle those things.
-
Sometimes, dikon Joe, when I read that story, when now I'm going to finish this when, when Joseph now had all the power in Egypt and now people were coming to ask for food from him, who do you think was one of those people, potiphar's wife.
-
Interviews were happening.
-
So she arrives, peh-meng, and Joseph looks at him and he says you look familiar.
-
Have I ever seen you anywhere?
-
And this lady says I have never seen you.
-
I do not know you.
-
But guess what Joseph said how much do you need?
-
And give you?
-
You need 12 bags.
-
Joseph gave him, gave her 20.
-
Because there are people as you go high the ladder who have messed you up.
-
But God lifted you up when they need help.
-
One day.
-
You don't tell them, sasanim e kupata.
-
The reason why you are there is to serve some of the people who have really messed you up.
-
Listen to this story.
-
As we finish, pharaoh is saying you shall be in charge of my palace and all my people are to submit to your orders.
-
Only with respect to that throne will I be greater than you.
-
So Pharaoh said to Joseph I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.
-
Then Pharaoh took his signatory from his finger, put it on Joseph's finger.
-
He dressed him in robes of fine linen, put a gold chain around his neck.
-
That is the beginning of bling, blings, hallelujah.
-
And no, christians don't like gold chains.
-
They don't like putting anything around their necks because it passes a wrong message.
-
Maybe they are drug loads, things like that, but this guy gets a bling, bling, a golden thing around his neck.
-
He made him ride in a chariot as his second in Command.
-
The people shouted before him make way, make way.
-
Thus, go back.
-
Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.
-
Then Pharaoh said to Joseph I am Pharaoh, but without your word, no one will lift a hand or foot in all Egypt.
-
Pharaoh gave Joseph the names of Fennath Pannear and gave him Asenath, daughter of Potipharah, priest of On, to be his wife.
-
And Joseph went throughout the land of Egypt.
-
I call that the high state.
-
Somebody better give God a big hand.
-
You may be down here, but you're going through the landscape, and this God, who began this work here and he has worked with you through this landscape, will bring you at last to where he wants you to have the greatest impact to the nations, to the county, to the cities of the world.
-
It is my prayer Let God break through into your mind, let God break through your landscape, let God bring you where he wants you to be.
-
In the name of Jesus, tell your neighbor I am that person in Jesus' name Now safe, with conviction.
-
I am that person and God is taking me places.
-
I'm renewing my mind through the word of God.
-
I may be going through a difficult patch, but I know it is temporary.
-
Pretty soon, even today, I may be called to the high state.
-
Check this space in Jesus' name.
-
Hallelujah, this is what we call breakthrough.
-
Shall we stand.
-
Have you learned anything?
-
Break through.
-
The Lord is your breaker.
-
He's gone before you.
-
You have become unstoppable.
-
There's nothing that the devil can do about it.
-
Now shake yourself.
-
Stand straight, head up, shoulders up.
-
Tell your neighbor watch me.
-
Miracles are coming my way.
-
In Jesus' name, now give God a big hand.
-
Come on, come on, come on, let's give God a big hand.
-
Hallelujah Come on, come on, come on, let's give God a big hand, celebrate him, celebrate him.
-
Come on, somebody.
-
Come on, come on, glory Amen.
-
Amen.
-
This month is a different month for you.
-
Believe, all things are possible.
-
Amen.
-
This card.
-
I would really ask you if you have not gotten this card, get a copy.
-
Get copies.
-
This will help change your mindset.
-
Amen, I want to pray.
-
Let's pray, father.
-
While I'm praying, wherever you are, what is this that has stopped you moving?
-
What has happened to you in the landscape that has paralyzed you?
-
Fear, discouragement, disappointment.
-
You are stuck in a pit.
-
You are in Potiphar's house, as a housemate or a houseman.
-
You are in prison, maybe prison of addiction, of prison of failure, prison of depression.
-
You are in prison, but guess what?
-
The Lord is with you.
-
The Lord is with you.
-
The Bible says the Lord blessed him and God's favor was in him, for the Lord was with him.
-
As I'm praying, I'm telling you the Lord is with you.
-
The Lord is with you.
-
Believe it.
-
You're coming out.
-
You may be going through the valley of the shadow of death, but you're coming out from to the other side, where the Lord has prepared a table before you in the presence of your enemies.
-
God is anointing your head with oil.
-
Your cup will run over.
-
Believe him, look up to him.
-
I look up to the hills.
-
Where does my help come from?
-
My help comes from the Lord, the make of heaven and earth.
-
Look to him.
-
Look to Jesus.
-
He has not stopped working in your life.
-
May he change your mindset, no matter what happens to you through the landscape.
-
Remember, god has reserved a place for you in the high state.
-
Father, these are your people and I thank you for them those watching us online, those in the pavilion.
-
My God, may we carry this word with us into the situations of life.
-
May we emerge greater than when we started, for he who began a good work in us will bring it to completion in Christ Jesus.
-
So, father, I pray for somebody who seems to be in darkness.
-
May light break through into their lives.
-
Somebody who is sick.
-
May healing break through into their lives.
-
Somebody who doesn't know what to do.
-
May wisdom break into their lives.
-
Let there be a breakthrough into your life.
-
So, father, thank you.
-
Why don't you take a moment to thank God for your life, for you, for you for you?
-
Come on, release that burden to him.
-
Tell him God, I'm seeing things from a different angle.
-
My mindset is changing.
-
Come on, tell him.
-
God loves to hear your voice.
-
He loves to hear your prayer.
-
Talk to him.
-
He's not condemning you.
-
He loves you just the way you are.
-
Father, we bless you.
-
We bless you.
-
We bless you, thank you, we honor you, we acknowledge you.
-
This month of November is our breakthrough month.
-
We bless you, lord.
-
Now God has answered your prayer and if you believe it, you better say I receive it, I take it, it is my portion, and there's nothing the devil can do about it.
-
In Jesus' name, now give God another big hand.
-
Thank him, amen, amen.
-
Are you glad you came?
-
I'm glad I came.
-
Amen.
-
I want to bless us as we are released, Our visitors again.
-
Thank you for being with us.
-
Out through the main door to your right is the Karibu Center.
-
You're welcome, and if you're a visitor just passing through and you still have time in the city, please come again.
-
And then come again, and then come again.
-
And if your pastor is missing you from where you came, just tell them I'll be back soon.
-
Amen, and my brother thanks for being here with us and God bless you, even as you serve while you are with us in this country.
-
Mom, it's good to see you.
-
Bless you, sana, amen.
-
So give your neighbor high five as I prepare to bless you.
-
I did not ask you to slap them, I just wanted you to just give them a high five.
-
For some of them you can give them a ten Peng.
-
Come on, try that.
-
A ten, a high ten.
-
Somebody is sitting next to his wife and says watch out, jinger, you know, one of the places to be very happy is in church, and Paki is that place.
-
We can laugh, we can celebrate, we can just enjoy God's presence, because God is a good guy.
-
So don't walk in in church like you have swallowed lemonade, but we give you good news and Jesus is the good news.
-
Come on somebody.
-
Jesus is the good news, jesus is the good news.
-
Amen.
-
Yes, he's good.
-
Even when we go through this landscape he's good.
-
He's good all the time, and all the time God is good.
-
There's a destination we are going, there's a destiny that is ours.
-
And guess what?
-
The Lord holds our hands as we go through this landscape, and even he will not let us go.
-
He holds us so that he can bring us to the destiny.
-
And in that destiny, it is a destiny to serve.
-
If you read the rest of the story of Joseph, he was there to serve and he served.
-
He was not just there to sit.
-
He was there to serve the nation, and when his family came, he still served them.
-
May you serve this week.
-
Amen, deacon.
-
Joe.
-
This is a service.
-
People come to be serviced.
-
After they have been serviced, they go out to do what To serve.
-
That is our mandate, amen.
-
So then, don't waste the petrol that has been put into you, the oil change.
-
Don't go and park somewhere and wait for next Sunday.
-
Do something for Jesus Christ.
-
Let your light shine before man.
-
Amen, amen, amen.
-
So let me bless us.
-
In Jesus name, father, in the name that is above every name, I decree and declare to your people may the Lord bless you.
-
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you.
-
May the Lord be gracious to you.
-
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you.
-
I decree and declare that you are blessed in the city.
-
You're blessed in the countryside.
-
You're blessed when you sit down.
-
You're blessed when you rise up.
-
Your family is blessed, your children are blessed, the work of your hands is blessed, for the Lord is with you.
-
I decree and declare that your Monday is blessed, your tuesday is blessed, your wednesday is blessed, your thursdays is blessed, your Friday is blessed, your Saturday is blessed, and guess what?
-
Sunday you're coming back with a testimony in Jesus' name, in Jesus' name, in Jesus' name.
-
So I bless you in the name of the Father, I bless you in the name of the Son, I bless you in the name of the Holy Spirit.
-
And God's people say now, look at your neighbor, tell your neighbor, surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life.
-
And you, yanni, you, you shall dwell in God's house forever, and there's nothing the devil can do about it.
-
You are blessed to be a blessing.
-
You're favored to be favorable.
-
You're lifted to lift others up in Jesus' name, amen, amen and amen.
-
And now, with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore.
-
Amen, shalom.
