Amen.

As we stand, we want to read the scriptures.

We are reading from Genesis 41.

These are familiar verses on the life of Joseph.

As we talk about empowered breakthrough, this is Joseph before Pharaoh.

The Bible says so.

Pharaoh sent for Joseph and he was quickly brought from the dungeon.

When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh and Pharaoh said to Joseph I had a dream and no one can interpret it, but I have heard it is said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.

I cannot do it.

Joseph replied to Pharaoh, but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph in my dream I was standing on the bank of the Nile when out of the river there came up seven cows, fat and sleek, and they grazed among the reeds.

After them seven other cows came up, scrawny and very ugly and lean.

I had never seen such ugly cows in all the land of Egypt.

The lean, ugly cows ate up the seven fat cows that came up fast, but even after they ate them no one could tell that they had done so.

So they look just as ugly as before.

Then I woke up in my dream.

I saw seven heads of grain, full and good, growing on a single stalk.

After them, seven other heads sprouted, wither than thin and, scorched by the east wind, the thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads.

I told these to the magicians, but none of them could explain it to me.

And this is the word of God.

And God's people say we may be seated in God's presence.

What a blessing to be in God's house.

Amen.

Before I pray, I just want to appreciate visitors who have come.

One of the places in Angola is called Luanda.

Now, luanda is just past Kisumu.

There's a place called Luanda, but there's one which is very important in Angola and, your excellency, we celebrate you, we thank God you're here.

But they are also accompanied by Reverend Leo Sumba Ben Sal and we want to celebrate him and we thank God for him and we thank God for the family they are visiting with us.

He's the secretary general of all the Baptist churches in Angola, amen, and he's also responsible pastor of Baptist Church of Combat Tentas I don't know if I've said it correctly and we thank God for just this opportunity that they are here with us.

Please, let's give God a hand for this wonderful family.

Now what language do they speak in Angola?

Portuguese, not Kikamba, hallelujah.

So we thank God for the African agenda we have and engaging the countries that speak Portuguese.

That's Angola.

What is the other country that speaks Portuguese?

Brazil.

We are talking of Kenya.

We are talking of Africa.

So there's Angola, mozambique.

So tell your neighbor knowledge is important, amen.

So one of these days, when you go there, I know they will receive you well, amen.

So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor.

Ask your neighbor do you have a passport?

If they say no, tell them the only Luanda they can go is the one in Kisum.

We don't need a passport.

Amen, let us pray.

Father, we thank you so much for this opportunity to celebrate those who visit with us, but also we want to thank you for the opportunities we have in the continent of Africa, and especially the Angolan ambassador to Kenya and the visitor, our dear Reverend Densau.

We just want to thank you and we bless his family.

We bless the ambassadors family, their friends and the opportunity we have had to engage with them in various ways here in Parklands Baptist Church, and thank you for many doors that are open because of our engagement with the continent of Africa.

We want to thank you for your word and Lord.

I believe that somebody has come to hear your word.

The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.

There is a proceeding word for each one of us from your heart, from your mouth, by your spirit.

To us.

May we receive that word.

Those of us who are here in the sanctuary, those in in the pavilion, those watching us online and made the name of Christ be glorified and God's people say amen.

This month, what is the theme?

Empowered breakthroughs.

And just to recap from for those who are visiting with us, the word breakthrough or breakthroughs come from the word perazim in second Samuel 520.

That's where we find that word.

So let me read that verse and then we'll pick it up, what God wants to tell us today.

The Bible says so.

David went to Baal perazim and there he defeated them and he said as waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.

So that place was called Baal perazim.

Baal stands for Lord or Master, and perazim stands for breakthrough.

And it's not just singular breakthrough, it is breakthroughs in plural.

I told you earlier that the word perazim in Hebrew, when you add an I am at the end, it becomes what?

Plural.

When it is just perets, that's how it is called perets, that is singular.

But when you say perazim, it becomes plural because God wants to bring to you many breakthroughs.

I'm saying God wants to bring to you many breakthroughs and he is your breakthrough.

The Bible says, and he has said it God will break out, god will break out.

God does not want you to break out, god will break out for you.

Another word for break out is like a bust.

You know, sometimes when a, when a river gets flooded, it busts.

It's our banks, when it busts its banks, and now it is totally not under control.

That's called perazim.

It has done what burst out, made the Lord burst out for you in this season and time.

Yes, may the walls that stop you be broken through by God Himself, because God is your breakthrough.

Don't try to get a breakthrough, let God be your breakthrough.

The Bible says in Micah, chapter 2, verse 13 either we say Micah, we say Micah, and again it is talking about God who breaks through for us.

Micah 2:13

The Bible says the one who breaks open the way will go up before you.

They will break through the gate and go out.

Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.

It says it very interestingly in the amplified version.

So in the amplified this is how it it reads and we saw this last time.

It says the breaker, the Messiah who opens the way, shall go up before them liberating them.

They will do what break out, pass through the gate and go out.

So their king goes on before them, the Lord at their head.

And I want you to know the Lord has gone before us.

He's breaking out for you in Jesus name.

Now, joseph, because that is the character for the month Joseph experienced, the God of breakthrough.

Life will squeeze you, life will put you in a corner, but in Jesus name, life cannot contain you.

Amen, life cannot contain you because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

So never feel squeezed in a corner, never feel that you're stuck somewhere.

There is a God who lives.

He will always break through for you.

That's the God of Joseph, and God prepared Joseph.

Like I said sometime back, at 17 years of age, god had already seen the future.

God sees the end from the beginning.

So God has seen this.

God has seen the life of Joseph, seen the life of his family.

God already had a plan and I want you to know that God has a man amazing plan for you.

He knows you from from the time you are conceived into in your mother's own.

Jeremiah got very scared at his young age and said God, I cannot speak, but God had a plan for Jeremiah.

The Bible says in Jeremiah, chapter 1, verse 5 and sometimes, when you are put in a situation you can't talk, you feel that the task is too big.

Jeremiah 1:5

Let me tell you this the God in you is bigger.

The Bible says before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

By the way, let me go back to around verse 3 so that we can pick that conversation.

The Bible says in verse 3 okay, take it was for.

The word of the Lord came to him in the 13th year of the reign of Josiah, son of Ammon, king of Judah, and through the reign of Jehochim, son of Josiah, king of Judah, down to the fifth month of the 11th year of the Decar, son of Josiah, king of Judah, when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.

And so the word of the Lord came to me saying before I formed you in the womb, I did what I knew you Before, before.

Let me tell you this your destiny is not tied to your parents.

I don't know if you look like your mother or your dad.

Your destiny is connected to the one who knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb.

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you Before you were born.

I set you apart.

I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Alas, sovereign Lord.

I said I do not know how to speak, I'm too young.

But the Lord said to me do not say I'm too young.

You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

And so God had a plan and, thank God, many years later, jeremiah writes in Jeremiah 29, verse 11.

Jeremiah 29:11

Because God had spoken to him, now he could look back.

It says for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.

Plans to do what?

To prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope in the future.

And so for Joseph, god had a plan at 17.

He did not know the things that God had really planned for him, but God began to reveal them to him through dreams and he saw himself as a ruler.

He saw the people bowing before him.

But what he didn't know is this Between the dream and the reality, god was going to shape him and prepare him for that place.

And sometimes, when God uses certain things to shape you, you get scared and you wonder has God left me?

But let me tell you this God now began to use even his family members, used the circumstances in his life, and God used number one, the pit.

Number two, potiphar's house.

Number three, the prison.

And maybe he felt I'm stuck here for the rest of my life.

What he didn't know, that these were just stages, bus stops to destiny, hallelujah.

And why did God have to do that?

Because God knew that no matter where you stop, he's your breakthrough to the next stage.

You stop and the devil want to bury you, but God breaks out on your behalf.

So, in the pit, breaks out into Potiphar's house.

Potiphar's house breaks out when the wife accused him for wrong things.

Let me tell you this if you have been accused for wrong, count it a privilege and an opportunity.

Hallelujah, because God will use that opportunity to break out for you, to break out for you.

There are some people who live such an easy life.

They do not need a breakthrough, hallelujah.

They just need to float into the situations of life.

But let me tell you this in Potiphar's house, break out into prison.

It's like you're going from bad to worse, but from where God is standing, you're going from good better, best.

You're going to the palace.

For you to be in the palace, you must have visited a pit.

Why?

The Bible says this in Romans, chapter 5, about the situations and circumstances that shape us.

Romans 5 · chapter mention

This is what it says and I like that verse.

Romans 5,.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord, jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Not only so, but we also glory in what Our sufferings.

We get excited that we are suffering.

We get excited we are in the pit Because suffering, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.

Let me tell you this Joseph would have had it very rough in the palace without the ability to do it.

Passavier, passavier, perseverance.

Then it says perseverance now builds into what Character and character produces, what Hope.

It has not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

And so there are some things we have to go through, but remember this we are going through, we are not going into, we are going through Hallelujah, through, through, through, through, through, through, through through.

Why Somebody is breaking out for us, breaking out for us.

That needs to be a rap song Break out, break out, break out, break out, break, break, break, break out, break out.

So if you're stuck somewhere, sit back and just say Lord, thank you, you're my breakout out of this place.

You have a broken heart, it's okay, the Lord will break out for you.

And so Joseph positioned himself in certain places because God was going to use him.

And today I want to talk about three areas and three keys they're called divine keys to break through.

Number one is the key of knowledge, number two is the key of faith and number three is the key of release that it is important for us to have knowledge, to have a revelation of God, because the Bible says my people perish for lack of what?

Of knowledge.

And many times when you're stuck in a situation, it's not because you're evil, it's not because you are wicked, it's because there is a knowledge you need.

And that is why, when God put dreams into Pharaoh's heart, god knew that there was an answer to that.

But it was going to come through Joseph, and Joseph was going to be the one who releases that information.

But Joseph had gone through situations and circumstances that prepared him to step into the house of Pharaoh and give him a solution.

Let me tell you this there's no situation in your life that does not have a solution.

And so the Bible says in Genesis 14, 41, starting with verse 14 there.

So let me read those verses for us.

It says this so Pharaoh sent for Joseph and he was quickly brought from the dungeon, and brought from the dungeon when he had shaved and changed his clothes.

He came before Pharaoh.

You know, when I read that statement, your destiny can change in moments, from the dungeon, from the prison to the palace.

Some things can shift because God does amazing things.

But the Bible says Pharaoh said to Joseph I had a dream and no one can interpret it.

But I have heard it is said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.

Now Joseph puts it in the right perspective.

He says I cannot do it, I don't interpret dreams just like that.

And you put pastors into those kinds of situations.

You come and tell Pastor Ambrose, me I had a dream.

What dream did you have?

I'm going to say this was happening.

And then this was happening.

What do you think God was saying?

I'm listening to that dream and I said I wish I knew, because there are times we actually do not.

No, we don't interpret dreams just out of the blue.

And Joseph said there is one.

If he gave you a dream, he can give you an interpretation.

And this is what he said I cannot do it.

Joseph replied to Pharaoh.

But God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.

Tell your neighbor, you need knowledge, you need revelation, you need an answer for what you desire, hallelujah.

You need an answer.

God is ready for you.

God is ready for you.

Moses was stuck between a rock and a hard place the sea and the Egyptians, and they needed knowledge.

They needed to know what to do.

Do they go back to Egypt or do they go and start swimming in the sea?

Hello, let me read these verses for you.

The Bible says in Genesis, chapter 14,.

Genesis 14 · chapter mention

I want to read from verse 12.

The Bible says this Genesis, genesis, not Genesis, sorry.

Exodus, exodus, exodus.

14.

The children of Israel are complaining, they are screaming at Moses and they are saying didn't we say to you in Egypt leave us alone, let us serve the Egyptians.

It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert.

By the way, do you know how long these guys had stayed in Egypt?

For more than 400 years.

And now they are saying we wish we had stayed there.

Then Moses answered the people, do not be afraid, stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.

The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

The Lord will do what Will fight for you.

You need only to be what To be still.

And then God told Moses what to do.

Then the Lord said to Moses why are you crying out to me?

Tell the Israelites to do what, to move on, raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea.

On what Dry ground?

God would have said I want you guys to swim.

But he said no, you're not swimming, you're going on dry ground.

God has knowledge, god has a revelation, god has an instruction and he knows he's going to give an answer for what you need.

And for Pharaoh, though he didn't understand the dream, joseph said God already has broken through for you.

Amen, of course.

He later interpreted the dream and he said you have two dreams.

They are basically the same.

The reason why God has repeated it twice?

Because he's going to do what he said Hallelujah.

There was a woman whom God was going to give a breakthrough.

So let me read her story briefly.

First, kings, chapter 17,.

Starting at verse nine, the Bible says God had to deal with two men, I mean one man and a woman.

And the Bible says this to Elijah go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there.

I have directed a widow there to supply you with what?

With food.

Let me ask you did the widow know about that information?

God was dealing with Elijah.

But God wanted to break through in two people's lives Elijah's life and the widow's life.

The Bible says so.

He went to Zarephath.

When he came to the town gate, the widow was there gathering sticks.

She was on her last time.

She just said I'm finished, I'm done.

This situation is too bad.

And, by the way, I believe she had rumors that the situation had been caused by who?

Elijah, he was the cause of this problem.

He's the one who professed that it's not going to rain and according to his word, it was not going to rain.

So he went to Zarephath.

When he came to the town, a widow was there gathering sticks.

He called to her and asked would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?

As she was going to get it, he called and said and bring me, please, a piece of bread.

And then the woman said as surely as a lord your God lives.

She replied I don't have any bread, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jar.

I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it and that.

Now you know what this verse tells me it is good to eat.

To die when you're full.

Dying hungry is a big problem.

But this woman was at the end of her rope.

But let me tell you this in her pit God was going to break out.

And God had to break out in Elijah's life, but in the process break out to the woman's life, because God will surely give an answer To the desire of that woman.

And maybe the woman was crying out and said oh God, when will you do this?

When will you do this?

When are you going to come?

And then God sends somebody the woman knows was the cause of the problem.

Can you imagine?

Elijah is nothing other than that.

Howdy, howdy, can I come in?

Elijah is in front of the one who caused this problem and let me tell you this there are some people who have caused you problems, but God will use them to give you a breakthrough.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.

And for some of you it may be your mother-in-law.

Thank you, jesus.

Somebody is saying you do not know my mother-in-law.

Not that one.

But you see, when God is the one breaking out for you, he can use anybody, he can use anything, he can use the prophet and the Bible says Elijah said to her don't be afraid, go home and do as you have said, but first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son, for this is what the Lord says.

The God of Israel says the jar of flour will not be used up and the jar of oil will not run dry Until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.

She went away and did as Elijah had told her, so there was food every day.

For who, elijah?

And for who the woman?

And for who else?

God does exceedingly, abundantly, above what we ask or imagine, because God will break out for you, and when he breaks out for you, everybody around you gets affected.

Everybody around you becomes the blessing Hallelujah.

He broke out.

God also broke out for Solomon, who was facing a very difficult decision in his life.

He had just become a king and he was going to face a lot of things that he needed to decide upon.

And he was going to say I want to bring you to your attention.

The Bible says this in 1 Kings 3.

Let me read those verses 1 Kings 3, we are starting with verse 16.

He's facing a very interesting issue and sometimes, for those of you who are lawyers and sometimes you deal with issues sometimes you just need wisdom.

The Bible says now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

Pardon me, my Lord, this woman and I live in the same house and I had a baby while she was there with me.

The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby.

We were alone.

There was no one in the house but the two of us.

During the night, this woman's son died because she lay on him.

So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I, your servant, was asleep.

She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.

The next morning I got up to nurse my son and he was dead.

But when I looked at him closely, mothers tell your neighbor mothers, you know mothers look at their babies.

They turn them and turn them and they know the baby.

That's mother.

The next morning I got up to nurse my son and he was dead.

But when I looked at him closely in the morning light I saw that it wasn't the son I had born.

The other woman said no, the living one is my son, the dead one is yours.

But the first one insisted no, the dead one is yours, the living one is mine.

And so they argued before the king.

And the king said this one says my son is alive and your son is dead.

Well, the one says no, your son is dead and mine is alive.

You know, it is moments like this you need a breakthrough Hallelujah.

Then the king said now this is God just giving him direction.

The king said bring me a sword.

So they brought a sword for the king.

He then gave an order Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.

Now who needed the legs and who needed the heads?

A very difficult situation.

The woman now see how God plays this thing out.

The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king please, my lord, give her the living baby, don't kill him.

But the other insisted and said neither I know, you shall have him.

Cut him in two.

Then the king gave this ruling Give the living baby to the first woman, do not kill him.

She is his mother.

Hallelujah.

Come on, let's give God a big hand.

And the Bible says when all Israel had the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.

God will tell you what you need to know.

When you don't know what to do and how to do it, god will come through.

He will break out for you with wisdom that is not of this world, hallelujah.

And so the key of knowledge, the key of knowing what God wants you to do, is very important, but very quickly, the key of faith.

You need to believe when God tells you to do something.

You need to believe when God gives you an answer.

The Bible says this Joseph, genesis 41, 25,.

And they are engaging with Pharaoh.

This is what he says.

Then Joseph said to Pharaoh the dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same.

God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do.

You know, when God gives you an answer, he also knows what he's going to do about it.

God is not just going to give you an answer and tell you now sort yourself out.

God also wants to be part and parcel of fulfilling that dream.

He wants to do something.

And for Pharaoh, god was saying I have given you two dreams because I really want to do something for this nation and something for the people that you're ruling.

I believe, even for nations like Kenya, god wants to do something for us.

Sometimes we may think that Kenya is too big.

God doesn't care about Kenya.

Let me tell you this God does care about this country and who knows, god can choose a Joseph, and that Joseph is sitting in this church this afternoon.

Now, don't interpret what I've said wrongly, because for some of you are saying why is it Joseph?

Why can't it be Jane?

You know, because it needs to be a woman or it needs to be a man.

God can use anyone.

When I say Joseph, I mean men and women at the same time.

Do you receive that?

God can do that and God is already using many of you to bring solutions to this nation, to bring solutions to this country.

Look at your neighbor, don't doubt your neighbor.

Just look at your neighbor, because some of you are saying, not the one I'm sitting next to and maybe that's what Pharaoh thought when he saw him.

But God will do something.

God wants to do something.

God wants to do something and God will do it for us.

The Bible says in Matthew, chapter 8, a man with leprosy came wondering can God do anything for me?

Matthew 8 · chapter mention

Now listen to that story.

The Bible says this because God will do it for you.

When Jesus came down from the mountain side, large crowds followed him.

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said Lord, if you are willing.

Many times we come with an if statement to God and God says I already know the plans I have for you.

I will do it.

Don't tell me if, because God will do it for you.

A man with leprosy came and said if you are willing, you can make me clean.

Jesus reached out his hands and touched the man, because lepers were not supposed to be touched.

But Jesus goes ahead and touches the man and he said I am willing.

He said be clean Immediately.

He was cleansed of his leprosy.

In other words, the leper just needed to have faith and believe that God cared about him enough to do something about his situation.

Let me read the next story, because it just follows about what Jesus wants to do.

Then Jesus said to him see that you don't tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as I had testamented to them.

When Jesus had entered Kepanaum, a centurion came to him asking for help.

Lord, he said, my servant lies at home, paralyzed, suffering terribly.

Jesus said to him shall I come and heal him?

The centurion replied Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof, but just say the word and my servant will be healed, for I myself am a man and authority with soldiers under me.

I tell this one go, he goes, and that one come and he comes.

I said to my servant do this, and he does it.

When Jesus had this, he was amazed and said to those following him truly, I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

What kind of faith is that?

It's the faith that believes that if you ask God for anything, god will come through for you.

Just say the word, just say the word, just say the word.

Let me tell you this there are many times that God will come through for you without any drama.

Hello, without any drama.

He'll break through a very difficult situation with zero drama, but let me tell you this for many of us pastors, we want drama, we want things to happen.

If I was Jesus, if Jesus was us, not the other way, if Jesus was a Pesambra and this guy just said, just say the word I said.

But if I just say the word, nobody will be there to see what will happen For me.

I will start saying bring the man to me, bring the man to me, and I will ask for Pastor Rigan and the worship team come today.

We want to see a miracle, we want to see the hand of God move in a mighty way and as God moves today, you're going to know that I'm a prophet from the living God and before we have the miracle, we're going to take an offering in the name of Jesus Christ.

As you see the power of God move upon this lady, now this, this servant, now servant.

I want you to know that I am a man of God.

A man of God, say God.

You know, the guy says he's a man of God and he's from Murangah.

I'm a man of God.

By the way, pastor Simon had a birthday yesterday.

Let's celebrate Pastor Simon and from time to time, if you get to listen to Pastor Simon Kineley, and especially now that he has come from America, you will hear that coming out somewhere A man of God.

But you know, sometimes we look for all this drama because we don't know who we are and we want the glory to come to us.

But I accept it.

But it needs to go to who?

To God.

And Jesus is not here to do drama.

Jesus is here to have compassion, to reach out to us even when nobody has to get to know about it.

Hallelujah, that's the God we serve.

That's the God we serve.

But let me finish that story because Jesus said this is great faith.

This is the kind of faith I'm looking for.

And then he says I said to you that many will come from the east and the west and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, isaac and Jacob.

Right, give me the nice verse, but the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside into the darkness where they'll be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Next verse then Jesus said to the centurion go, let it be done just as you believed it would.

And his servant was healed.

At that moment, no drama, no gymnastics.

The word of God made it happen.

May the word of God make it happen for you In Jesus name.

In Jesus name, so believe God, believe God, god will come through for you.

But I want to tie this by telling you the last key.

The first one is the key of knowledge, the key of faith, but also the key of release.

And I want to just read Genesis 41, 32, and 33.

The Bible says this, and Joseph is still handling this situation of the dream.

And then he says the reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God and God will do it soon.

But what I like about this percidive is that not only did Joseph have knowledge of what was God was going to do, not only did he have faith that God would actually do it.

He then released the matter to God.

He said Pharaoh, now take over from here.

Choose a man of your liking, let them handle this situation.

I have finished my job.

And there comes a time that, when you really want to break through and you have the knowledge that God will do it you have faith that he will do it.

There comes a time when you now need to release the problem to God.

Just release it.

How God is going to work it out, let it be his decision.

Amen, let him handle it.

Let it go.

Don't put your hands into it.

You're going to create a problem.

We say it this way now, in some ways Let go and let God Amen, because he is your breakthrough.

He will break out for you how he will get that job.

Only God knows how he will provide for you.

Only God knows.

That's what Moses had to do.

That's what David had to do.

David said some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God.

What did David have to do?

David had to go to the river and collect five stones.

David had to put one stone in the sling.

It is David who had to run to us, goliath.

It is David who had to swing the sling, but the moment David released the stone, it was no longer in his hands.

It was now in the hands of who Of God, where the stone was going to land, though David was a very skilled man, very skilled, like some soccer players, very skilled, especially the ones who take penalties.

Very skilled.

For me, if I took a penalty, if I was going to hit a ball, take a penalty, what I'm looking for is just making sure the ball goes to the goal, just shoot the ball to the goal.

But there are some of these amazing guys and then when you hit that ball, hit it with everything you have.

But there are some guys who come, they look at the ball, they put the ball there, then they go back Just two steps, then they come and as they come, they just go and the ball goes in.

The goalkeeper goes that way and the ball goes this way.

They are skilled, but let me tell you this Even in our skill, when we have released that thing to God.

God will take it where it needs to land.

Let go.

Let go Because he is your breakthrough.

Come on, let's give God a big hand.

It is called the key of release.

The mother of Jesus comes to Jesus and says they don't have any wine.

And Jesus said what does that have to do with me, woman?

And then the woman leaves.

Jesus goes to the servants and she tells them whatever he tells you to do, do it.

And she goes on to her own business.

She let go and let her son do what he knew how best to do it.

That is one of the most challenging places.

We don't want to let go.

We want to know how it will go.

Go for an interview and you go through the panel.

You are interviewed and you even want to know if you won before you even leave the panelists.

So are you guys?

If they call you, fine.

If they don't call you, fine, god is still your breakthrough.

I finish with this Early in our marriage, martha got pregnant.

Hallelujah, I'm saying hallelujah.

But in that season Martha went for a test at Nairobi Hospital Blood test and then she was called and she was told she was HIV positive.

Martha came home and told me that story.

Those are the days when HIV was just crazy, moving around For three days.

We lived as a couple, by the way.

It was so crazy because I started, we started asking each other who I remember in my head I really started doubting Martha.

I said how, how?

You think?

Now on the other side, she's also so.

So I thought this guy was a pastor, a man, a God.

For three days, let me tell you this, we cried, we prayed, we just didn't know and we just said, god, we don't know which way, and anyway, if we are HIV positive, god, just help us to walk this journey.

We don't have to have the blood transfusion.

We don't know.

We just started life as a couple.

Mata was working at Nairobi Hospital.

So she goes back, you know, and they call her and they tell her we apologize, they had used somebody else's sample.

You know that's when you sit back and say Hallelujah, because even at that time I was saying my ministry is over If the church gets to know.

But let me tell you this.

Those three days it reached a stage where we just said we are letting go and we are letting God take his position.

I've never shared that story.

I know you have never heard it, but maybe God is just telling me to tell you this, that we have gone through those kinds of places.

We've been in the pits, we've been in Potiphar's place, we've been in prison.

But God has privileged us to be in the palace in Jesus' name.

Jesus' name, jesus' name.

But being human, I didn't know that really, you can really doubt one another.

Really, I really doubted it.

I needed to apologize and say I knew it is not me, it is you.

But she was saying, thank you, I knew it was you, it is not me.

But when we released it to God, when we let go and let God, even if we had become actually HIV positive, god would have known how to make a way where there seemed to be no way.

And I'm talking to somebody online, I'm talking to somebody here in church, I'm talking to somebody in the pavilion.

I don't know what you're going through now, but there's one who breaks out.

He will break out for you, he will break out for you, he will break out for you.

I'm saying he will break out for you Financially.

He will break out for you Health wise.

He will break out for you Relational wise.

He will break out for you as a nation.

He will break out for us.

In Jesus' name.

Now you better give God a big hand, bless his holy name, amen, amen.

Please stand on your feet.

While you're standing on your feet, tell your neighbor, don't just look at me like that.

The one who breaks out is on my side.

Yes, now, please don't call Martha.

And that's Martha.

It was not a true story, but God has been good to us and I know God has been good to you.

I want you to take a moment in reflection that, as you pray, and as I prepare to pray for you, that, whatever it is, I want you to begin to encourage yourself and say Jesus will break out for me.

Yes, he already knows.

For Pharaoh.

He already knew the answer.

For Joseph, he already knew the answer For Elijah.

He already knew the answer For the woman in Zarephal.

He already knew the answer.

He will break out for you.

He will break out for you.

Take courage, he'll break out.

These are the divine keys to breakthrough the key of knowledge God will give you his answer.

The key of faith he has promised to do it, trust him.

The key of release God will establish it for you.

So let go and let God come through for you.

Father, thank you for your people as they are praying, as I'm praying, we are standing on that rock that says God is our perazim.

He will break through like the break out of waters for us.

We may not see the answer, we may not see the open door, but he who promised will do it because he is faithful.

And so, father, I want to pray that this coming week, starting this afternoon, the one who breaks out for us will go before us.

Lord, this nation is filled with things that we need you to become our breakout.

We need you to be our breakthrough.

Maybe his Excellency, the president, is at a place where he does not have answers, like Pharaoh did not have an answer.

Break out, breakthrough for him, breakthrough for this government, breakthrough for the ambassadors that are in this country.

We celebrate the Angolan ambassador to Kenya.

Breakthrough for him, breakthrough for many ambassadors, even as they represent their countries in this land.

Breakthrough for them.

Breakthrough for their countries, breakthrough for this church and many churches that represent you in this nation of Kenya and the continent of Africa.

Father, we thank you and we bless you.

May you give us that sure word.

May we believe you and have faith.

May we release matters when we know you have already given the instruction and you have already given us a promise.

Let them let go.

Let's release it to you, because surely you will come through for us.

Father, what a blessing to be in God's house, what a blessing to be with God's people.

And now, father, touch us again as we go out and meditate on this word.

May we know the God who goes before us has already won the battle for us.

So thank you for hearing our prayer, and not only hearing our prayer, but answering our prayer.
