Let us pray, father.
-
We thank you for this month of December as we continue to celebrate your goodness, this month being the month of Jesus' character unveiled to us in matters of destiny.
-
And so, father, we thank you and we really appreciate every person who has taken time to come, those watching us online.
-
And Father, as this word goes forth, may it minister to each one of us at our various levels, at our various platforms, at our various needs, at our various challenges.
-
And, dear Lord, I thank you because it doesn't matter where we are at, destiny will always break through for us to greater heights.
-
So we thank you for hearing our prayer, because we have prayed in Jesus' name and God's people said Amen.
-
Tonight we want to talk about destiny.
-
So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor you have a destiny, amen.
-
Do you believe that?
-
Do you believe that you have a destiny?
-
Tell your neighbor.
-
If you're not very close to a neighbor, just tell yourself I have a destiny, amen.
-
You are not an accident, amen.
-
And because you have destiny, you also have a purpose, and destiny predetermines our God-given purpose.
-
God did not leave you to what we call fate.
-
Don't leave by fate.
-
In other words, you live life like if it happens, fine.
-
If it doesn't happen, fine.
-
God has a bigger plan and a bigger purpose for you than saying those kinds of statements.
-
So I want to read you the scripture, romans, chapter 8, verse 28 to 32.
-
These are verses that we know very well and I want you to know that by the time I'm finishing.
-
You'll be very encouraged.
-
Amen, you'll be very encouraged.
-
The Bible says and we know that in all things God works.
-
So tell your neighbor.
-
God is at work and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.
-
In other words, when God is working, he's not working for evil, he's not working to do you bad, he's working to do you good.
-
He's working all the time to do you good, not to do you evil.
-
And we know that in all things, god works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to what His purpose.
-
Then he says for those God for new, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
-
And those he predestined, he also called.
-
Those he called, he also justified.
-
Those he justified, he also glorified.
-
What, then, shall we say in response to these things If God is for us, who can be against us?
-
He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will he not also, along with Him, graciously give us a few things?
-
How many things?
-
All things?
-
Now, before I go very far, let me just define a word that sometimes confuses us.
-
So let me go back to verse 28 and 29.
-
Then I'll talk more about what I want to talk about today.
-
And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called.
-
According to what?
-
According to what His purpose?
-
Please put that in mind, because we're going to talk about purpose.
-
Then he says for those, god for new, he also predestined to be conformed.
-
Now, that's the phrase I want you to pick about predestination Predestined Till your neighbor predestined.
-
Now pay to.
-
If you can just come back, because I want to illustrate this Hallelujah, god is good.
-
So the Bible says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us.
-
Now just stand next to me here In matters of destiny, especially to predestined, to pre.
-
The word pre-destined means to destiny.
-
Before Hello.
-
Many Christians read the Bible and this scripture confuses them, because they believe that God predestined us Some of us to go to heaven and some of us, whatever you do to go to a place we will not mention.
-
Hello.
-
So I'll pray.
-
When we talk about destiny, god is not talking about our end game.
-
He's not talking about where we shall end up.
-
So imagine pay to is Jesus Christ.
-
So let me read the advanced for you now, because your destiny is not in a place.
-
It is not in a location, it is not in a thing.
-
Your destiny is in a person.
-
That person is the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
So everything that God does rotates around Jesus Christ.
-
So when God is working all things for good is doing things for good for those who are in Christ.
-
Hello.
-
So now those verses for those God for new.
-
He also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son.
-
So if you're standing here, god already has put an image and he has already put Christ as the standard.
-
So whatever happens in your life, you must end up looking like Jesus.
-
Are we together?
-
So when God is conforming you, when God is purposing you, when God is designing you.
-
He has a picture in mind, and that picture is Jesus.
-
He's not trying to make you like your neighbor.
-
He's not trying to make you like a superstar.
-
He's trying to make you like one person that he put together, and that is Jesus Christ.
-
No wonder the Bible says if anyone is in Christ, his word is a new creation.
-
The oldest passed away, behold, the new has come.
-
And so there's only one image that God has a destiny for, and that destiny is the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
So he's getting you from where you are to make you like Christ.
-
The good thing is that you don't have to become like Christ by your own ability.
-
God is good and that is why.
-
So let me now read Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 1, the story of redemption.
-
This is what the Bible says, this story of redemption.
-
As for you, you are what You're dead, so you're standard.
-
You are dead, dead, dead.
-
Dead In your transgressions and sins in which you used to live, when you follow the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the earth, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
-
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts.
-
Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath, but because of his great love for us, god, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with who With Christ.
-
So Christ came.
-
Because it was only in Christ everything was going to work for us.
-
So, number one he made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in transgressions.
-
It is by grace you have been saved.
-
And then God raised us up with who With Christ, but Christ is the standard.
-
And then he seated us with who With Christ.
-
Number one he made us alive with Christ.
-
He raised us with Christ.
-
He then made us to sit together with Christ in the heavenly realms, in Christ, in order that in the coming ages we might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
-
So it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not for yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.
-
And then it says in Christ, for we are God's workmanship in Christ, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.
-
So look at your neighbor, tell your neighbor.
-
At the end of the day, you just have to look like Christ.
-
Amen, tell your neighbor.
-
That is destiny, that is God's purpose, amen.
-
All right, peter, you may be seated.
-
Don't forget my coffee.
-
So God's grand design is at the end of the day, we will look like Christ, not in terms of copy paste, but in terms of who he is, his creativity, his power, his love, his ability, his blessings.
-
That will be walking down here like little Christ's that's why we are called Christians Christ's to little Christ's on earth, looking just like Jesus Christ.
-
And who is making that happen?
-
God himself.
-
And so for us is to allow him to make that happen.
-
But within this destiny there is a purpose.
-
But how do we release this purpose?
-
And that's what I want to talk about today.
-
Purpose basically means intention, your intention.
-
What is the purpose of a book?
-
I'm talking to you.
-
What's the purpose of a book?
-
Talk to me.
-
What's the purpose of a book?
-
To read it.
-
Bible says write the vision down so that those who read it may run with it.
-
Now, when you meet a book and you don't read it, you basically are not fulfilling the purpose of that book Hararaya.
-
So the book has lost purpose because it was written to be read.
-
That is why the Bible is a book or a library.
-
The word Bible means library.
-
So to tell your neighbor, the word Bible means library.
-
So how many books are in this library?
-
Talk to me 66.
-
Now, of course there are some Bibles that have more books.
-
We are not going to go to those ones, but this is a library.
-
So when you are reading the Bible, don't try to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, because it is not one book.
-
Have you entered the library and decided that when are you going to finish?
-
When you go into the library you are looking for a specific book with a specific interest.
-
So you are going to check it.
-
That's what the Bible is.
-
That is why sometimes people who make resolutions they are going to read from Genesis to Revelation, they usually get stuck, especially when they reach the book of Leviticus.
-
Hello, because the book of Leviticus has certain things you are not even understanding.
-
You are not clicking them.
-
Then you decide I Balaak Summa Leviticus.
-
Let me read the book of Psalms After reading Psalms.
-
Proverbs is a very nice book, but then when you reach a clasio, you jump it plus the song of Solomon, because sometimes they don't interest you, but all those books in that library are inspired by God and profitable for teaching.
-
So this is a book called a Bible, but it has books, and the purpose for this library is that God has revealed himself through these many books and you can find the different angles of God.
-
Some of it is history, like Genesis.
-
Some of it is the books of wisdom, like Proverbs, psalms.
-
Some of it is just principles the New Testament, the Gospels Matthew, mark, john, luke.
-
They talk about Jesus and the life of Jesus from different angles.
-
So there's a purpose.
-
Tell your neighbor, there's a purpose.
-
There's also a purpose for your existence.
-
There is an intention why God created you and made you to be born in this season and in this time.
-
Thank God you're not born in 1890.
-
Hello, you're born in this season for a purpose.
-
There's an intention.
-
Purpose also means pleasure.
-
When God created you, he created you for his pleasure, for his joy.
-
He didn't create us so that he could kill us.
-
He didn't create us so that he could find out if we sin.
-
No, he created us for a reason and for a purpose to be conformed to his son, jesus Christ.
-
Purpose also means a goal that needs to be achieved.
-
Purpose also means to give counsel, to give guidance.
-
Purpose means a grand design.
-
There is a design for everything.
-
The vehicles are designed in a certain way, for a purpose.
-
You are designed for a reason and destiny determines our God given purpose.
-
But today, when I talk about purpose, I just want to look at three areas of purpose and how you can release your divine purpose, releasing your divine purpose.
-
Releasing your divine purpose, All right.
-
So let me read Romans 8, 28 one more time Romans 8, 28.
-
And we know that in all things, god works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
-
Let me read that in the amplified version.
-
See if it gives another angle of the word purpose.
-
And we know with great confidence that God, who is deeply concerned about us, causes all things to work together as a plan for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his plan and purpose.
-
So God also follows a particular plan and a direction and a purpose.
-
And so the three things I want you to remember today is for you to release your divine purpose, because it is already inside you, it is locked up in you.
-
For you to release your divine purpose?
-
Three things Our purpose to wait.
-
Number two purpose to walk and number three purpose to win.
-
You have a purpose in life and God wants to fulfill his destiny in you because it is already intact.
-
God is not confused about you being on this planet.
-
God knows why you are in this planet and some of the things you are going through for example, when you are sick and there is a high fever on you that is not God's purpose, hello.
-
So let me say that again so that you don't confuse these things.
-
When you are sick with high fever, that is not God's purpose for you, but you may be going through that to fulfill God's purpose.
-
Are you nearing me?
-
One time there was a preacher who got sick.
-
He is a preacher who never usually gets sick, but he got sick one day and he was very upset because he knows that Jehovah is Jehovah Rafa.
-
He got so sick that he was admitted in hospital, and where he was admitted it was not a nice view, but it was in the world, but he was very sick, but he is in the world.
-
While he is in the world, next to his bed was another guy who was also sick and groaning and just depressed.
-
So in the process of the doctor, the pastor, staying in that hospital, they started a conversation with this other guy, kind of found out his name and pretty soon he also told that guy by the way, I'm a pastor and I don't know why God has placed me in this bed, but I'm just surviving.
-
But in the process of talking, this other guy had never been to church, never gone to church, and he was so excited that in all his life of not going to church, there was a pastor next to him.
-
Hello.
-
And so he told this pastor by the way, I've never been to church and I don't care about going to church, but since you're next to my bed, tell me something about church.
-
And slowly the pastor began to tell him about church and about what happens to church.
-
And then these other guys started asking things about God.
-
That conversation went on because they stayed in the hospital for quite some time and the pastor was not getting well very fast.
-
Hello.
-
And so they were discussing and discussing and slowly from this guy who was very unwell, being very antagonistic about things of church and antagonistic about God, began to listen to this pastor and at the end of the day the pastor led this guy to Jesus Christ.
-
Why don't we give God a big hand?
-
And this guy was so excited that he had just received Christ and he was so thankful that, among so many, he had caught a pastor and brought him to hospital just to talk to him about Jesus.
-
Do you know, the next day the pastor was healed and the doctors are wondering what just happened.
-
He walked out of that hospital and went home because he had just fulfilled his purpose.
-
His purpose was not to be sick, his purpose was to find a place for him to go to hospital to speak to somebody who needed to receive Jesus Christ.
-
That guy got healed.
-
I don't know about the other guy, but I believe he also got healed and left church, because God knew this guy who is in hospital is going to die and he says he does not like God and he doesn't like church.
-
God had to look for a pastor to be sick because it was not God's will for him to be sick, but he needed to be sick to fulfill a divine purpose.
-
Who knows that?
-
You're going through what you're going through to fulfill purpose?
-
And though you want to get a Robert situation quickly, hello, god is taking you there so that you can fulfill that particular purpose.
-
Now let me show you this verse, because I'm still talking here James, chapter one, verse two.
-
The Bible says this.
-
It's an interesting verse.
-
It says this consider it what Talk to me.
-
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face what trials of many kinds.
-
So look at this, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
-
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
-
If any of you like Swissdom, you should ask God, who gives generously, and if you are in those challenging situations, ask for what?
-
Swissdom?
-
And that is what the purpose of waiting is all about, and I'm going to come back to that.
-
If you remember the story of Joseph, the reason he had to be in the pit, the reason why he had to be in Potiphar's house, the reason why he had to be in prison, god was fulfilling his purpose, but he needed to go through those stages.
-
He had to become the prime minister of Egypt because God wanted him to go through all these places, but there was a purpose being fulfilled.
-
So there is this purpose, called purpose to wait.
-
So let me read you these verses Isaiah 40, verse 28 and 31.
-
The Bible says this Because purpose to wait releases divine wisdom.
-
The Bible says this Do you not know?
-
Okay, let me read it again.
-
Do you not know?
-
Have you not heard?
-
The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth.
-
Hallelujah.
-
All right, okay, let me go.
-
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
-
He gives strength to who?
-
To the weary, and increases the power of the weak.
-
Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall.
-
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
-
They will soar on wings like eagles.
-
They will run and not grow weary.
-
They will walk and not be faint.
-
Now let me read this particular one in the New King James Version, because it replaces the word hope with the word wait.
-
So it says but those who do what Wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength.
-
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
-
They shall run and not be weary.
-
They shall walk and not faint.
-
Let me tell you this if you're going to release divine purpose, purpose to wait.
-
Waiting is a preparation period.
-
Waiting enables you to get wisdom that you need for future victories.
-
Wait does not mean you're waiting without doing anything.
-
Let me ask you the guys who serve you in restaurants are called what Waiters?
-
Now, when you meet them, are they lounging on sofas?
-
What are they doing?
-
They're waiting on you.
-
The word waiting is they are serving you.
-
They want Do you need a?
-
What kind of drink do you want?
-
They are waiting on you.
-
Do you want pizza or what?
-
What is it?
-
They want your order.
-
So they are waiting on you.
-
When you wait on the Lord, you are serving him, saying Lord, what do you want?
-
What can I serve you?
-
What can I prepare for you?
-
And as you're doing that, you're interacting with that person and you're not just sitting back.
-
You're waiting on them.
-
Waiting releases wisdom.
-
Let me read these verses in Proverbs, chapter 4, verse 1.
-
Talks about wisdom.
-
Tell your neighbor, you need wisdom.
-
It says this.
-
Proverbs here my children, the instructional of a father.
-
And give attention to know understanding.
-
For I give you good doctrine do not forsake my law.
-
When I was my father's son, tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, he also taught me and said to me let your heart retain my words, keep my commands and live.
-
Get wisdom, get understanding, do not forget, no, turn away from the words of my mouth.
-
Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you.
-
Love her and she will keep you.
-
Wisdom is the principal thing.
-
Therefore, get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding.
-
Exalt her, and she will promote you.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Exalt wisdom and wisdom will promote you.
-
She will bring you honor.
-
When you embrace her, she will place on your head an ornament of grace, a crown of glory.
-
She will deliver to you.
-
Hear my son, and receive my saying, and the years of your life will be many.
-
In other words, wait on the Lord.
-
I'm saying wait on the Lord.
-
Now there's a particular guy who thought he was much clever and he could not wait on the Lord.
-
Things did not go very well for him.
-
So let me read you that story.
-
First, samuel, chapter 13.
-
I want to read from around verse 5.
-
Alright, first Samuel 13.
-
This is the story of King Saul.
-
Very quickly, it says then the Philistines gathered to fight with Israel 30,000 chariots and 6,000 horsemen and people as the sun which is on the seashore, in the multitude.
-
And they came up and then camped in Miqmash, to the east of Beth Avon, when the men of Israel saw that they were in danger, for the people were distressed.
-
Then the people hid in caves, in tickets, in rocks, in holes and in pits, and some of the Hebrews crossed over the Jordan to the land of God at Gilead.
-
As for Saul, he was still in Gilgal and all the people followed him trembling.
-
Then he waited how many days?
-
Seven days, according to the time set by Samuel.
-
But Samuel did not come to Gilgal and the people was scattered from him.
-
So Saul said bring a bant offering and peace offering here to me.
-
And he offered the bant offering.
-
Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the bant offering, that Samuel came and Saul went to meet him that he might greet him.
-
And Samuel said what have you done, saul?
-
What have you done?
-
Saul said when I saw that the people were scattered from me and that you did not come within the days appointed and that the Philistines were gathered together at Miqmash, then I said the Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal and I have not made application to the Lord.
-
Therefore, I felt compelled and offered a bant offering.
-
Now let me ask you was King Saul purposed to make offerings?
-
Was that his purpose?
-
Whose purpose was it to do offerings?
-
Samuel, because Samuel was what A prophet and a priest.
-
The king was supposed to rule and to reign, so he was not fulfilling his purpose.
-
Now he then goes ahead and does the bant offering.
-
Now listen to what happened.
-
And Samuel said to Saul you have done foolishly.
-
You have not kept the commandment of the Lord, your God, which he commanded you for now.
-
The Lord would have established your kingdom of Israel forever, but now your kingdom shall not continue.
-
The Lord has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander of his people.
-
Because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.
-
In other words, he was.
-
What Samuel was saying is this you did not wait.
-
Hello, seven days looked so long and the guy couldn't wait.
-
But let me tell you this God is never late.
-
I'm talking to somebody.
-
God is never late.
-
Sometimes you may have waited for so long maybe the year 2023 has been so long, and you're just about to make a rash decision.
-
Let me tell you this your miracle may be waiting for you tomorrow morning.
-
I'm saying your miracle may be waiting for you tomorrow morning.
-
So don't jump to conclusions.
-
Don't feel that God has forsaken you.
-
God is still going to fulfill destiny, but just learn to wait.
-
The youth may become weary, faint-hearted, but they that wait upon the Lord shall do what shall renew their strength.
-
You have no idea that God already destined for you.
-
He knows exactly what he wants to do in your life.
-
But God is saying why don't you wait on me?
-
Why don't you build wisdom as you wait?
-
Learn from me.
-
Take my yoke upon you, because my yoke is easy.
-
My burden is light.
-
Papa's to wait.
-
Number two Papa's to walk.
-
Tell your neighbor Papa's to walk.
-
Genesis 5 this is a very interesting passage.
-
Genesis 5, 21 to 24 this is the story of Enoch.
-
I hope there is no Enoch in the house.
-
If you're in the house, are you're so blessed because I'm reading your story here?
-
The Bible says this Enoch lived 65 years and we got metacela.
-
By the way, methuselah is the one who lived for very long, longer than anybody else.
-
It is interesting, pastor Riggs, that Methuselah lived for a long time and died.
-
The father lived for some time and never died.
-
Hello.
-
And, by the way, pastor Riggs, if you go to the computation of the years of these guys, you'll find that Methuselah the reason why Methuselah died.
-
He actually should not have died.
-
He could have actually hit a thousand years, because he was about 900 plus plus plus.
-
He died during the flood.
-
He was one of the guys who refused to enter the Ark.
-
Hello, it was so bad, the guy would have lived longer.
-
But if you compute the years, when the flood took place during Noah's time, methuselah was still around.
-
He died in that flood.
-
But I'm not talking about Methuselah, I'm talking about Enoch.
-
So let's go back.
-
Go back to that verse 21.
-
Enoch lived 65 years and begot Methuselah.
-
After he begot Methuselah, enoch walked, did what Walked with who?
-
With God?
-
For how long?
-
300 years.
-
And had sons and daughters, hallelujah.
-
So all the days of Enoch were 300 and 65 years.
-
And Enoch worked with God and he was not for God to him.
-
Now, for me that's also interesting.
-
He lived.
-
For how many years did he live?
-
365.
-
Now turn 365 into days.
-
That makes what?
-
One year.
-
In other words, enoch lived his full life.
-
May you live your full life.
-
I'm saying may you live your full life.
-
In other words, he worked daily with God, did not skip a day and God took him.
-
What does that mean?
-
To work with God?
-
It simply means not only do you need divine wisdom as you wait on the Lord.
-
You need to have divine progress, because walking means progress.
-
Tell your neighbor I'm going to progress in Jesus' name.
-
How do you do that?
-
Galatians, chapter 5, verse 16 to 18, your purpose is to progress in life.
-
You need to go from one degree of glory to another.
-
This is what Galatians says.
-
I say then, walk where In the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the last of the flesh, for the flesh lasts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
-
But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law.
-
And I want to say this For you to walk, you need to be led.
-
So let me say that again For you to walk in the spirit, you need to be led by the spirit.
-
In other words, the only person who will give you progress, who knows where he's going, is the Holy Spirit.
-
So let him lead you, you do the walking.
-
I'm saying let the Holy Spirit lead you, you do the walking.
-
Live by the spirit, obey him.
-
Where he goes, you go.
-
Hallelujah, you know I was reading this verse which we usually say it Psalms 23, verse 6.
-
Let me read that and then we shall prepare to turn to tie up the message.
-
It says this Psalms 23, verse 6,.
-
Surely goodness and mercy shall do what Shall follow me all the days of my life.
-
Now let me take the word follow.
-
Let me read it in the amplified version Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life.
-
Now that word follow in Hebrew Pasariks, is the word raddaf, r-a-d-a-p-h.
-
Raddaf, the word follow, peter.
-
Come back here.
-
The word follow is kind of a very weak word.
-
It is.
-
It doesn't have energy.
-
So if I'm walking and he's following me, all right.
-
So I'm walking and he's following me, hallelujah.
-
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
-
Is he following me?
-
He's following me.
-
Now, the word raddaf doesn't mean the guy is casually following me.
-
Let me paint you another picture.
-
Imagine he is a rabbit.
-
It's hard to imagine, eh?
-
Just use your imagination.
-
And the rabbit is running around in the bushes, okay.
-
So running around in the bushes and suddenly the rabbit encounters a dog.
-
What do you think the rabbit will do?
-
The rabbit will take off.
-
What do you think the dog will do.
-
You have used the word chase Now, raddaf means to chase.
-
In other words, the dog locks the rabbit in its sight and no matter what the rabbit does, the dog is after that rabbit.
-
Goodness and mercy shall raddaf you.
-
Thank you, jesus.
-
You're trying to dark.
-
Surely goodness is after you, not just following you casually so that you pass and it misses you.
-
When God locks his eyes on you as the good shepherd, I'm telling you, it doesn't matter where you hide.
-
And so when we talk about purpose to walk, in other words, the Holy Spirit will follow you Then turn it the other way around and the Holy Spirit is now leading you.
-
Raddaf him, don't let him out of your sight.
-
Walk before him.
-
Chase him, don't let him out of your sight.
-
The promises of God Chase them, don't let them out of your sight.
-
Surely goodness and mercy shall chase you with all its energy.
-
Tell your neighbor this year you're not escaping.
-
Goodness will catch up with you.
-
Come on, somebody, goodness will catch up with you, amen.
-
Yeah, somebody will just send you a pizza that you did not ask for.
-
I am telling you, goodness will chase after you.
-
Hallelujah Promotion will come your way when you even had not even done your prayers.
-
I'm telling you, god will slap you with his blessings.
-
Why?
-
Because he's your shepherd.
-
You will not lack any good thing.
-
So, purpose to work, to chase after God, to follow him, study his word, study his ways.
-
You will find him.
-
The Bible says this.
-
As I tie this up, and I'm trying to tie Jeremiah 20, 29, verse 11.
-
Thank you, peter.
-
You may be seated.
-
May goodness reduff you, amen.
-
Yes, it says, for I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you Says the Lord plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
-
Look at the next verse.
-
Then you will call on me and you'll come and pray to me and I will hear your voice and I will listen to you.
-
Then, with deep longing, you will seek me and require me as a vital necessity, and you will find me when you search for me with all your heart.
-
That's what it means.
-
But I, finally, I want to say this purpose to wait, purpose to walk, but purpose to win.
-
I'm saying purpose to win, don't purpose to lose.
-
Life is not for us to lose, it's for us to win.
-
So I read these verses in the life of David when he first go live, from verse 33, fast somewhere, 17, 33.
-
David has just met King Saul and there's this conversation.
-
We're reading from verse 33 to 37.
-
Then Saul say to David let me tell you this there are many people who are going to discourage you in your life of purpose.
-
Some of them are very prominent people, some of them are kings, some of them are people of authority.
-
Now look, david is ready to fight Goliath, but listen to King Saul.
-
Then Saul say to David you are not able to go against this Philistine.
-
Then Saul said to David you are not able to go against this Philistine to fight him for your only young person.
-
Now let me read this in the take it back to NIV so that you can just flow a bit smoother Says this Saul replied you are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him.
-
You are only a young man and he has been a warrior from his youth.
-
In other words, I wanna experience.
-
Hello, you're just an intern, thank you Jesus.
-
But let me tell you this interns go to places.
-
I'm telling you don't, don't with Sisi Mique.
-
But David said to Saul I like this.
-
He had a determination to win.
-
But David said to Saul your servant has been keeping his father's sheep.
-
When a lion or a bear came and carried off a ship from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the ship from its mouth.
-
When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it.
-
Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear.
-
This and Saccamsa's Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God.
-
The Lord, who has rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear, will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.
-
Now you hear what Saul said.
-
Saul said to David go and the Lord be with you.
-
Now, that was not a statement of faith.
-
That was a statement of saying you are Kimbell and Beliaco.
-
You see, saul believed in his ama, in his everything.
-
David just trusted in God.
-
Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses, but we shall trust in the name of our Lord, our God, and we shall win.
-
Tell your neighbor, we shall win.
-
Tell your neighbor, we shall win in Jesus' name.
-
Do you know the rest of the story?
-
I'm not going to read all that, but there are people who can stop you from winning by their statements.
-
You're not a bull banner, you're a youth banner.
-
At how much do you have?
-
500.
-
500, my friend.
-
This thing requires 5 million.
-
Let me read that statement one more time, because now Saul has just released this guy.
-
Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic.
-
He said before you go, since you don't have an ama, what are you going to take?
-
Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic.
-
He put a coat of amon him and a bronze helmet on his head.
-
David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around because he was not used to them.
-
And then he said I cannot go in these things.
-
He said to Saul, because I'm not used to them.
-
So he took them off.
-
Then he took his stuff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and, with his sling in his hand, he approached the Philistine.
-
He was ready to win.
-
Hallelujah, he was ready to win.
-
So, ladies and gentlemen, if you're going to release your divine purpose, purpose to wait, purpose to walk, purpose to win, in purposing to wait is your gaining wisdom.
-
In purposing to walk, you're allowing time to progress.
-
In your purpose to win, god is going to give you divine victory.
-
That is your portion.
-
I'm saying that is your portion, hallelujah, that is your portion.
-
And I declare to you, like we've been declaring this couple of Sundays, you're going to finish this year strong.
-
Please stand up on your feet, because I want to say it one more time to you you are going to finish this year strong.
-
I'm saying you're going to finish this year strong.
-
You're going to finish this year strong.
-
Some things may not have come to be, but let me tell you this God can stretch the year for you, just for you to accomplish your purpose.
-
We have a few days before 31st of December, but God can stretch these few days, hello, and cause you to fulfill your purpose purpose to wait, purpose to walk, purpose to win.
-
Be like David.
-
Other people may want to stop you on the tracks because they have more experience than you, but let me tell you this it's not about experience, it's about who lives inside you.
-
It's not, it's about who lives inside you.
-
Some of you are going to get jobs that you're not experienced.
-
God is going to promote you.
-
Just boom, you'll find a place.
-
You'll find yourself in a place and you're telling yourself maze, I don't have experience for this position, but because God is in me, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
-
Hallelujah, something good is about to happen to you.
-
Allow goodness to chase after you.
-
I'm saying allow goodness to chase after you.
-
Stop saying the devil is all is after me.
-
Just turn around.
-
Tell your neighbor, the devil is not after me.
-
Tell your neighbor it is goodness that is after me and I will allow goodness to catch me before this year is over.
-
Amen, yeah, watch our goodness.
-
You can't have a neighbor.
-
You'll not recognize me next week.
-
Goodness will have captured me.
-
Amen, goodness, and loving, kindness and blessings.
-
They will chase after me.
-
Hallelujah thine the glory, Hallelujah amen, Hallelujah, Revive us up One more time.
-
Hallelujah thine the glory, Hallelujah amen.
-
Hallelujah thine the glory, Revive us again.
-
Tell your neighbor.
-
I am a candidate for God's blessings.
-
I am a candidate for God's goodness, hallelujah.
-
I am a candidate for God's breakthroughs.
-
It is my portion and there's nothing the devil can do about it.
-
You believe that Now give God one big hand.
-
Give him a big hand In Jesus name.
-
Amen.
-
Release your divine purpose.
-
Release your divine purpose because there is destiny inside you.
-
There is destiny inside you, so release that purpose.
-
Papas to wait, papas to walk, papas to win.
-
In Jesus name, let us pray, father, thank you, thank you.
-
Thank you so much for your word and Lord.
-
Regardless of what negative things may have happened to us, our papas is still to gain wisdom by waiting upon the Lord.
-
We are going to progress as we walk, like Enoch walked.
-
Enoch walked with God on a daily basis and he was not for God took him.
-
God was pleased with him.
-
May God be pleased with your walking, chasing after him, seeking him and finding him, because God loves to be found.
-
May you find him, find his will, find his ways, find him, seek his presence, because it is right there for you, papas, to win.
-
Don't let anybody stop you from winning.
-
People will try to stop you, they will try to give you their own ideas, they will tell you don't have experience.
-
But, father, today we are saying we, papas to win, like David, we will.
-
Papas to win.
-
Goliath may be huge, but our God is bigger.
-
Goliath may be humongous, but our God is almighty.
-
Goliath may look like a stone that cannot be broken, but our God is a stone breaker, he's a rock breaker.
-
And so, father, we lean on you and you alone, and we decree and declare we shall finish this year strong, to the glory of your name.
-
Thank you for hearing our prayer and, dear Lord, I pray for somebody who may have come in this service a little bit discouraged because of this and that.
-
But, lord, today they have made a choice to wait on you, to work with you and to win in your strength.
-
So thank you for blessing us and even as I prepare to release the blessing, I know that this word will sink in us, those watching us online and those present in this sanctuary.
-
And all glory goes back to you, because we have prayed in Jesus' name and God's people say amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen.
-
Give your neighbor a high five if you're next to a neighbor.
-
Otherwise, give yourself a high five, amen, yeah, give you.
-
You can give yourself a high five.
-
God bless you, amen.
-
Are you glad you came?
-
Tell your neighbor there's a miracle immediately after the service.
-
It is called a cup of tea, hallelujah, and you're welcome to have fellowship as you prepare to go home, and may you have a fantastic evening.
-
Those watching us online.
-
May the Lord bless you too and thank you for connecting with us tonight in a big way.
-
So lift up your hands.
-
As I bless as Father, in the name that is above every name, I decree and declare this blessing to God's people, and I decree and declare this May the Lord bless you.
-
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you.
-
May the Lord be gracious to you.
-
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and may the Lord give you peace.
-
May the Lord release shalom to you.
-
May the Lord give you wholeness and completeness in him.
-
Nothing broken, nothing missing.
-
You are whole and complete in Jesus Christ, and so I bless you in the name of the Father, I bless you in the name of the Son and I bless you in the name of the Holy Spirit.
-
And God's people say amen and amen.
-
Look at your neighbor.
-
Tell your neighbor, surely goodness and mercy Shall chase you and catch up with you all the days of your life, and you shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever, and there's nothing that the devil can do about it.
-
You are blessed to be a blessing.
-
You are favored to be favorable.
-
You are lifted to lift others.
-
In Jesus' name, amen.
-
And now with a grace.
-
My Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit Be with us now and forevermore.
-
Amen Shalom.
-
Enjoy the cup of tea.
