December Week 3 Theme vision. Embracing God's Grand Design: A Reflection on the Year and Hope for the Future

Hi Paki family and all those who have been following us online.

We give glory to God that he has carried us this far.

We are in December and we want to thank God.

We are in the month of empowered destiny, predetermined purposes.

I do not know, when you look back to the year, that was what you can thank God for.

I do not know what you are thinking about when we begin to think of probably what you wanted to accomplish and you are not able to do.

I don't know whether you are also looking back and seeing the much you have been able to accomplish and you are very excited about yourself.

I do not know what you have been thinking the whole of the year, from January to now December.

I pray that even as you look into the year, you can think with gladness because when the Lord created you, as in Psalms 139 from verse 13, this is what the Bible says for you formed my inward path.

You covered me in my mother's womb.

I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Motherless are your works and that my soul knows very well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret and skilfully wrote in the lowest parts of the earth.

Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed, and in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me when, as yet, they were none of them.

How precious also are your thoughts to me, oh God.

How grateful.

How great is the sum of them?

If I should count them, they should be more in number than the sand.

When I awake, I'm still with you.

So when you think of the goodness of the Lord in your life, when he created you, he formed you in your mother's womb, he put you together, he did not even seek your permission, he knew you long before you came into existence.

So already here, the predetermined, um, your purpose here on earth.

And it's not because of your performance, it's not because of who you are, it is because he is God and he has very good plans for you as his child.

And so if you feel you underperformed, if you feel you performed beyond what you expected, all this brings glory to God.

But you can't sit back and beat yourself, feeling very down that you have not probably managed what you intend to do because, um, you didn't manage.

If you get, you happened to give someone a smile, if you happen to give someone something little, if you happened to do anything good or anything that the Lord enabled you to do.

Remember it is God who has already accomplished the purposes in you, and so just rejoice in him, in him, tell him thank you and let God be God in your life, knowing that even in this year you are finishing strong because the Lord is with you, his purposes have been uh accomplished and you see your trust in God for the next year.

If I can remember the song we sung in Sunday school or we taught in Sunday school every single cell in my body is happy.

Every single cell in my body is well.

Thank you, lord, for giving me.

Every single cell in my body is well.

The fact that every single cell has been well in your body, that it has been well with you.

You could move here and there and all that has happened around you, if good or bad.

Give God all the glory because he loves you and his your future is in him.
