  2. I greet you in the name of Jesus and another week of God's blessing is before us and today we want to talk about the new year.

  3. We have said that this year God has given us a theme and the theme is the year of the uplifted open door.

  4. The Bible says in Revelation, chapter 3, verse 7, hour 2, 8 and I want to just speak verse 8.

    Revelation 3:7

  5. Jesus is saying and he says behold, I open a door before you that no man can shut, and I shut, and no man has given us an open door vision and it is very important for us to catch it.

  6. We were talking about this last time, that we need to catch the vision, but today I want to talk about this open door vision, and it is an uplifted door.

  7. It's not a door that is in front of you.

  8. The Bible says in Revelation, chapter 4, verse 1, that Jesus spoke to John and said come up here.

    Revelation 4:1

  9. So the door is uplifted and it is important for us to be able to walk through this door.

  10. And it is uplifted for three major things.

  11. Number one uplifted to see.

  12. Uplifted to walk.

  13. Uplifted to possess.

  14. God is uplifting us in 2024.

  15. The Bible says forget the former things, do not dwell on the past.

  16. And in this season God wants to lift us up.

  17. He's actually lifting us up to a new dimension.

  18. Number one uplifted to see.

  19. God wants us to see.

  20. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 9 and 10 what our eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor the heart conceived, god has prepared for us.

    1 Corinthians 2:9

  21. There are things that God wants us to see.

  22. God wants us to see is to see His glory.

  23. God wants us to see who he is, not just what he does, but who he is.

  24. And when we see who he is, we're going to begin to understand who we are.

  25. Because many times we get distracted by so many things.

  26. We get distracted by this leader and that leader, this challenge and that challenge.

  27. But God says I want you to see Me.

  28. So this vision is uplifting us to see God in a new way.

  29. Secondly, it is uplifting us to walk in a new place.

  30. The Bible says in Matthew, chapter 6, verse 33, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you.

    Matthew 6:33

  31. We have been called to walk in the kingdom and in the kingdom way.

  32. The kingdom way is a way of righteousness.

  33. The kingdom way is walking according to the principles of the King and the principles he has placed us in the kingdom as we do.

  34. That.

  35. This vision is going to open up for us in amazing ways.

  36. How are you walking?

  37. The Bible says walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.

  38. But thirdly, this vision, this open door vision, is uplifting us not only to see, not only to walk, but also to possess.

  39. God wants us to possess his inheritance.

  40. The inheritance is not for angels, the inheritance is ours.

  41. The Bible says in 1 Peter for you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

  42. God wants us to possess that which he has possessed for us in Christ.

  43. So this is an open vision, open door vision, number one, uplifting us to see God's glory, uplifting us to walk in the ways of the kingdom.

  44. But thirdly, uplifting us to possess all that God has for us.

  45. I like that scripture that says in John 10, 10, that thief comes to steal and to kill and to destroy.

  46. But I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.

  47. May God give you all that is yours in this season and in this time.

  48. So be uplifted to see, be uplifted to walk, be uplifted to possess all the life that God has in store for you.

  49. May God richly bless you in Jesus' name, amen.
