  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another episode of Commission Thursday, where we believe that every believer is a light, every believer is the salt, every believer is Christ's ambassador and every believer is the book of John, chapter 9, verse 4.

    John 9:4

  2. The scripture says we must work the works of him who sent me.

  3. While it is day, night is coming when no one can work.

  4. I love the way this scripture is talking to us, because many of the times we think that we have all the time, especially as young people, we say that I will do this tomorrow, I will do this at the perfect time.

  5. So we waste our today because we are very optimistic of what life will offer tomorrow.

  6. But the scripture is reminding us that we are not so sure of what life carries for us, what life will offer for us.

  7. So the scripture is saying that we need to work what we are supposed to be doing today.

  8. Now let me clarify something when it comes to that point of working.

  9. I know many other times we say that I'm so busy I'm doing one, two, three, yet you're not productive.

  10. Now what the scripture is saying about you doing your work?

  11. It talks about how productive are you with where God has planted you?

  12. Because the main assignment we have in this generation is to be the light, to be the salt and to be the carrier of the message of good news.

  13. So how productive are you to influence the kingdom of God?

  14. How productive are you?

  15. How many people are you influencing with your gift, with your talent or any that God has placed under your care?

  16. How many people are coming to the light of God through your position of leadership?

  17. How many people are blessed by your resources?

  18. They can testify of the provision of God through you, because of the dimension of where God has blessed you, because of the dimension of where God has blessed you, how many people can testify that since God elevated you or God promoted you, one or two things have been happening because night is coming.

  19. When the scripture says that the night is coming, it talks about the shift of the season.

  20. I know today we have all the ability to accomplish this.

  21. Tomorrow we will not have that ability to do what we are doing today.

  22. So how sensitive are we to maximize every opportunity and everything that God has blessed under our care?

  23. Because the night is coming.

  24. Once the scripture about the night is coming, the ability or the grace, or the anointing that you carry that you're thriving with, will not be the same.

  25. And that day, the anointing that you carry, that you're thriving with, will not be the same.

  26. And that day, the only thing that will stand is when you'll face the judgment and you'll be as creation.

  27. And it's my prayer that, when that day come, you'll be bold enough, you'll be strong enough to say that when God blessed me with this, I was so productive and I maximized my opportunity, because I understand one thing that God designed me to be the light, to be the salt and to be the carrier of the message of good news.

  28. So in this particular week, may you arise and shine where God has placed you Go and blossom, because that's the only assignment we have as Christian.

  29. Be blessed.
