Embracing an Abundant Life: Unlocking Eternity, Victory, and Fruitfulness with Jesus

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and we are thanking God for an amazing month that God has given us, talking about open door connection, and the major point about this connection is that Jesus Christ is our connection.

Jesus said in John 10.10, the thief comes to steal and to kill and to destroy, but I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.

And so we are talking about life in three areas that we are connected to through our Lord, jesus Christ.

Number one, connected to eternal life.

Secondly, connected to a victorious life.

And thirdly, connected to a productive life.

Now, talking about eternal life, jesus Christ was talking to Nicodemus in John chapter 3, and he said this For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

We are connected to eternal life and not only connected to it.

Eternal life actually comes to reside inside us.

John chapter 1, verse 11, says the Lord came to his own people, but his own people did not receive him.

John 1:11

But to those who received him, who believed in his name, he gave them the power to become the children of God.

Jesus Christ connects us to eternal life.

Jesus is our eternal life, and this life is not just a matter of saying it will go forever and ever and ever.

No, this is the life of God himself that we are connected to.

But secondly, jesus Christ connects us to a victorious life.

Many times people get saved, they're born again, but they're always struggling, they're always challenged.

Now the Bible is clear.

In the book of Romans, chapter 8 and verse 31, says if God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare his own son but delivered him out for us all, will he not give us all things with him?

Much later he says in verse 37, in all these things, we are more than conquerors.

My brother, my sister, god has connected you to a victorious life.

Not only do you have eternal life, you have a victorious life.

And then, thirdly, we are connected to a productive life.

Jesus, speaking, said this in John 15.

He was talking about the vine and the branches, and he said this in verse 1.

I am the vine, you're the branches, and my father is the gardener.

And then, in verse 5, he says that if we abide in him and he abides in us, we bear much fruit, because he's the vine and we are the branches.

I want to tell you this God wants us to be productive, god wants us to bear fruit, and so this week, as we talk about open door connection, remember we have been connected to a life that number one is eternal and number two is victorious and number three is productive.
