May Week 2 Commission Thursday: Healing Hands in Times of Crisis: The Power of Medical Service and Compassion

Hi everyone.

I would like to take this opportunity, as a mission chairperson and medical outreach champion pillar, to emphasize on a few things on how we can use our expertise and giftings to serve the Lord in our various sectors.

Our reminders are based on the scripture from 1 Peter, 4.10, which reminds us to and says each one of us should use our gifts that we have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.

For instance, this time of we are affected by flooding in various zones.

I'll call upon all relevant medical expertise across the board, be it a medical practitioner, be it a pharmacist, be it a nursing officer, whoever you are a psychologist, a psychiatrist we call you Abon to come, come and serve, come and help, because it is God-given skills that we can use and reach out to somebody.

At this time and point point.

People are suffering mentally, they're suffering physically and they need us to reach out to them and through this we'll be serving and behaving as a salt and light, because there are those in darkness right now they cannot even see Christ.

Because we'll reach to them through our expertise and they'll put a smile on their face again.
