Hello, I hope you're doing well.
-
Today, on Commission Thursday, we're going to talk about how we can be able to reach the younger generation, and on today's verse we're going to share a verse from the book of Proverbs, chapter 9, verse 10.
-
I'll be reading from the NKJV version, and it says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
-
We have an opportunity to reach the different education sectors and make sure that whatever information we share with these young ones is able to instill the fear of the Lord and therefore they will be able to have an understanding of who God is and to even live a life that is pleasing to him.
-
David says that how can a young man keep his ways pure?
-
By putting the word of God in his heart, and therefore we have an opportunity to make sure that the gospel of God is reached in each and every level of learning, from the kindergarten to even the university.
-
And how can you be able to do that?
-
In the school outreach ministry, we have an opportunity for you to share the gospel of God through the internet, through rallies, through weekend challenges and even attending the CU sessions and making sure that whatever is being taught is the truth of God, and we know that we are in a different generation.
-
Therefore, the learning is a bit different.
-
There's a lot of social media influence, there's a lot of information being passed, but we have the grace.
-
We have been given the grace by the Lord to be able to do anything and therefore we have enough grace to reach this generation.
-
So I welcome all of you to partner with the missions department through the school outreach ministry to make sure that your children, your neighbor's children and the children in your community have been reached by the gospel of Christ.
-
Have a blessed week ahead.
