June Week 2 Commission Thursday: Embracing Our Role as Ambassadors of Christ: Spreading the Gospel Globally

Welcome to Commission Thursday.

This is where we believe every believer is a salt and the light of the world.

Every believer is an ambassador of Jesus Christ, representing the kingdom of God.

Today we want to talk about reaching out to nations.

Nations are very important because God is the God of global world and he desires that whole world come to the realization that he is the Savior.

He is God and he deserves to be worshipped.

John, chapter 3, verse 16.

John 3:16

This we see the love and the demonstration of the Father.

Demonstration of the Father, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life.

This is the demonstration of the love of God towards the nations.

He desires that everybody and everywhere to come to the knowledge of truth.

It is not the will of God that anyone to perish.

That's why he has provided a solution for all of us to be saved, and that is through the cross.

Reading from the book of Matthew, chapter 24, verse 14, this is what the scripture says in NIV version and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24:14

Here we receive the commission to go out and preach the gospel, to reach out to every nation, every place, everywhere with the gospel of Christ.

Therefore, we are commissioned to preach, bringing the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ to the very people that need it.

We are called also to teach, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And also we are given the mandate, the authority and power from the Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples in all the nations.

And that is the message.

And you can engage, you can participate by actively, willingly, engaging at the forefront or supporting those who are going out for the mission field.

That is the message and I pray that, even as you hear that God is going to speak to you, to engage actively as we reach out to the nation.
