  1. We are reading the scriptures before we sit 1 Corinthians 15, verse 3 to 11.

    1 Corinthians 15:3–11

  2. This month we've been talking about open door grace, and today I want to share about grace activated.

  3. These are the words of Paul.

  4. This is what he says in 1 Corinthians 15, starting with verse 3.

  5. For what I received, I passed on to you as of first importance that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas and then to the twelve.

  6. After that.

  7. He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.

  8. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and, last of all, he appeared to James, then to all the apostles and, last of all, he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born, for I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

  9. But by the grace of God.

  10. But by the grace of God, but by the grace of God, but by the grace of God, but by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect.

  11. No, I walked harder than all of them.

  12. Yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

  13. Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach and this is what you believed.

  14. This is God's word, and God's people say it Amen.

  15. We may be seated, please, in God's house.

  16. We really want to take time to appreciate all of you for coming.

  17. We don't take it for granted.

  18. There's a song we used to sing that says I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord.

  19. It is.

  20. In the house of the Lord you find strength, you find joy, you find comfort, you find people.

  21. You're able to celebrate God's goodness, we're able to take the Lord's table together.

  22. We're able to pray for the children.

  23. We're able to give the children, we're able to give, and we want to thank you for every Sunday you give to the work of God and we don't take that for granted.

  24. But also in God's house, we receive God's word.

  25. God speaks to us, and he doesn't just speak to us on Sundays.

  26. God also speaks on Monday.

  27. I'm saying God speaks on Monday, every day he speaks, if we're able to hear his voice, and so we just want to say thank you and we bless you big time.

  28. We do want to.

  29. I don't know if the visitors acknowledge, but let me acknowledge particular ones.

  30. We want to celebrate with Ambassador Mike Mubea and Susan Hallelujah, god bless you.

  31. And yesterday they had something they call a rural show, hallelujah.

  32. And you know, mike Mubea went to the island as the ambassador of Kenya to Ireland and what he didn't know is that as he went, he also went with his daughter, hallelujah Shiro.

  33. And while he was there, the daughter was seen.

  34. I'll tell you, neighbor Alione Kana, and the evidence has come to Nairobi.

  35. We want to thank God for Hugh Armstrong and Shiro.

  36. Please stand up.

  37. These are the two who are about to get married, amen, and they look nice, and next Saturday there will be a blessing and then later there will be a wedding in Ireland.

  38. Tell your neighbor, get a passport.

  39. You know I keep telling you to get passports and you don't listen, but we celebrate you.

  40. Hugh's parents are here.

  41. Please stand.

  42. Mom and dad, we are glad you came.

  43. God bless you big time.

  44. Amen, thank you, amen, please.

  45. You may be seated.

  46. We'll be praying for them and just releasing them in that journey and we thank God.

  47. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor the word of God is coming your way.

  48. And so, even as we celebrate that joy, we also celebrate those who go through difficult time and sorrow.

  49. We want to stand with Peter Oloch.

  50. Peter, please stand.

  51. And Peter Oloch is bereaved.

  52. Let's be praying for him.

  53. His wife passed on suddenly on Friday.

  54. Let's be praying for him.

  55. His wife passed on suddenly on Friday and we want to remember him in prayer.

  56. There shall be a service, a prayer service, today at 3 pm at the youth sanctuary, as we remember them and as we remember him.

  57. Amen.

  58. So, peter, god is with you.

  59. We don't know why things like this have happened, but God is with you.

  60. So please be seated, even as I take a moment to pray for the word.

  61. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you in joyful times and in sorrowful times.

  62. We especially want to take time to pray for Peter and we believe that, god, you know why he's going through this valley.

  63. We don't understand it, but you're a God who is able to comfort those who need that comfort.

  64. So we bless him, pray for him.

  65. The Lord will watch over him.

  66. But also, lord, we celebrate those who are experiencing joy and celebration, and so, lord, we take time to thank you for our brother, ambassador Mike Mubea, and his wife Susan.

  67. We thank you, lord, for their daughter, shiro, who is preparing to get married to Hugh Armstrong.

  68. We thank you, lord, for the Rora show they had yesterday.

  69. We thank you for other planned blessings that are coming, especially this coming Saturday and later the wedding in Ireland.

  70. We just want to say thank you, thank you that you give us good things to enjoy, and so we pray even for the plans and the preparations and all that it takes to make these things happen.

  71. Lord, supply everything that they need according to your riches and glory.

  72. And, father, your word is coming and it's coming to your people who are going through various situations in life.

  73. The word is coming even to this nation, lord.

  74. Even as we pray for this nation and the challenges that this nation is facing, the leadership, lord, we pray for the nation.

  75. We pray for our young people, lord.

  76. We pray that, in all that is happening, that the voice of Jesus Christ will be heard, that, god, you will intervene in your own way, father, we pray that you will remember the cry of the young people, lord, more than the shouting and the singing and the running around.

  77. There is something they're trying to communicate.

  78. I pray that, lord, that something they're trying to communicate, I pray that, lord, that which they're trying to communicate will be heard.

  79. We pray for the leadership, we pray for the nation, that God will give them wisdom.

  80. The Bible says by wisdom a house is built, and so we pray for that wisdom across the board to our leadership, to our president, that God, jehovah, god, your wisdom will be given to them.

  81. This nation belongs to you, and we believe that you're taking this nation to the next level.

  82. And so we just want to say thank you, because we know that, even as I share your word this afternoon, there is a word for each one of us.

  83. And, lord, we are going to go out with celebration and rejoicing, because we know that the entrance of your word brings light.

  84. May that light shine in our darkness.

  85. And so we thank you for your grace.

  86. That is sufficient.

  87. If you believe that God is speaking to you, you better say I receive it In Jesus' name, amen, amen.

  88. Tell your neighbor grace is here.

  89. Many times when we think of grace, we think of salvation.

  90. So let me read this verse about salvation.

  91. The bible says in Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 8.

    Ephesians 2:8

  92. This is a verse we know very well.

  93. It's a good verse.

  94. It's a blessed verse.

  95. It's a blessed verse For it is by what?

  96. For it is by grace you have been saved.

  97. Through what Faith?

  98. This is not from yourselves.

  99. It's the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.

  100. So, pastor Simon, many times we handle grace when we are dealing with matters of salvation.

  101. We also handle grace when we are about to finish the service.

  102. Hello, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  103. I want you to know that statement is so powerful.

  104. If you got a revelation of what that is.

  105. You're sending people with God's abundance, favor, mercy, love, goodness.

  106. You're saying as you go, may this grace go with you.

  107. The grace of God is connected to Jesus.

  108. That is why we say may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  109. Love is connected to God.

  110. That's why we say may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  111. Love is connected to God.

  112. That's why we say and the love of God, fellowship, is connected to the Holy Spirit.

  113. That word fellowship means partnership.

  114. The Greek word for it is koinonia.

  115. Now, koinonia means different things to different people, hello.

  116. But it means partnership.

  117. May the partnership of the Holy Spirit be with you.

  118. Now.

  119. Many times, even in our Christian lives, we catch very little glimpses of who God is, and sometimes God may not reveal much to us.

  120. Kidogo, kidogo, small, small, because our systems are not able to fathom the vastness of God.

  121. And so, god's grace, sometimes you just need to have pictures to understand what that is.

  122. I went to Mombasa for the first time in 1975.

  123. Tell your neighbor, that was a good time.

  124. Just ask them were you born at that time?

  125. Hallelujah, I know, pastor Riggs was born.

  126. Pastor Riggs, were you born?

  127. You were not born.

  128. Hello.

  129. So in 1975, I go to Mombasa because I had just finished my Form 4 exams.

  130. We had a big holiday, my uncle was working for Kenya Ports and so I went there and stayed there for some time.

  131. I had seen Lake Victoria and I used to think Lake Victoria is huge, until I saw the Indian Ocean.

  132. I don't know if you have ever gone to Mombasa and seen the impact of what that ocean is, because it's a mass of water so huge, so large, it blows your mind.

  133. If you have never gone to Mombasa and you're a Kenyan, just ask your neighbor, just check with them.

  134. Briefly, because some of them I'll be saying things they don't understand.

  135. Hallelujah, so tell your neighbor.

  136. You need to be a local tourist.

  137. One has a favor.

  138. Now, just so that we see the kind of people we have.

  139. Let me ask for us who are here, how many of you have never been to Mombasa?

  140. Now, please don't lie, just be truthful.

  141. Okay, my brother never been to Mombasa.

  142. Oh, our people from Ireland have never been to Mombasa.

  143. Ambassador Mubea, is something going to be done?

  144. Is something just needs to be done?

  145. They need to see Mombasa.

  146. Please put up your hands to it Now.

  147. Why are you putting it here, your hand?

  148. I'm saying put it like this Never been to Mombasa, that little boy?

  149. You've never been to Mombasa, you've never.

  150. Why are?

  151. You've never been to Mombasa?

  152. Huh, you've never.

  153. Why are you putting your head down?

  154. My sister, are you the mother?

  155. Hello, little boy, come here, come, come, come, come, come, come.

  156. God bless you.

  157. What's your name?

  158. Who, who, halem, halem.

  159. Okay, where's your mom?

  160. Mom, come here.

  161. This is very serious.

  162. Where's mom, mom, mom, hi, mom, you're good.

  163. God loves you.

  164. Have you ever been to Kino?

  165. You've been to Kino.

  166. So this boy is lifting his hands.

  167. He wants to go to Mombasa.

  168. Is it possible for him to go to Mombasa by faith.

  169. People don't go to Mombasa by faith, they go by SGR Tell your neighbor SGR and by plane.

  170. Okay, now, one of these days how old is he now?

  171. Ten, okay, during the holiday this August, find an opportunity, meet him, okay.

  172. Okay, have you gone to Mombasa?

  173. Yes, he has never gone to Mombasa.

  174. He's still growing up, okay, so we are going to create a trip for you, okay, and take him for you.

  175. Okay, and take him with you.

  176. We're going to arrange that later, because this boy needs to see this vast ocean.

  177. God bless you.

  178. Pardon Island what about island Island?

  179. Now, it's my prayer that you visit Mombasa.

  180. So let me come back to my someone.

  181. Tell your neighbor, why are you interrupting Pastor Ambrose's someone?

  182. So, my sister, god is going to open that door.

  183. God has already opened that door.

  184. That boy has to see Mombasa.

  185. Anyway, I was saying this the day I saw that vast ocean.

  186. It amazed me, it blew my mind, because you turn this way, it's an ocean.

  187. You see to the horizon, you see these big ships and they go and they disappear.

  188. Ocean everywhere.

  189. And I thought I had seen the Indian Ocean, until one day, many years later, 10 pastors got an opportunity to go to Australia and at that time we flew the plane that was going to Australia, flew from South Africa to Harare.

  190. We flew from Nairobi to Harare, caught that plane and crossed the Indian Ocean to Perth, australia, then later to Sydney, and we went over the Indian Ocean to Perth, australia, then later to Sydney and we went over the Indian Ocean.

  191. I'm saying we went over the Indian Ocean and we went and went and went and continued wenting.

  192. We just went.

  193. I didn't realize the Indian Ocean is massive.

  194. It gave me a new picture of the Indian Ocean.

  195. The Pacific Ocean is big, the Atlantic Ocean is big and that picture showed me that the grace of God is like that ocean.

  196. Many of us yeah, come on, give God a big hand Many of us interact with grace in such small bits.

  197. We don't know that God's grace is so huge but we partake of it in such little portions.

  198. And it is my prayer, even as I share the message today, that this grace can be activated in your life, if you can just reposition yourself and see this grace that is so vast, it's so wide, it's so amazing, and that you can draw from this grace again and again and again and again.

  199. This grace is coming your way.

  200. I'm this grace is coming your way.

  201. I'm saying this grace is coming your way In Jesus' name, activating grace.

  202. And it handles four things.

  203. It does many other things, but today I want to just say four things.

  204. This grace needs to be activated and it activates four things.

  205. Number one salvation.

  206. Number two supply.

  207. Number three our shortcomings.

  208. Number four the wisdom we need in uncertainty.

  209. Number one salvation.

  210. This grace, salvation, is activated.

  211. Paul, writing, said this.

  212. So let me read those verses one more time Ephesians, chapter 2.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  213. But let me start with verse 4.

  214. The Bible says this about salvation.

  215. But because of his great love for us, god, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in transgressions.

  216. It is by grace you have been saved, and God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of what His grace expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

  217. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

  218. The reason why Paul is saying this Is because grace found him.

  219. He never found grace.

  220. Grace found him.

  221. I'm praying that this week Grace will find you.

  222. Grace will locate you.

  223. And for Paul, who was a Pharisee who knew the law but he did not have a personal relationship with Jesus, grace had to locate him.

  224. And so Acts chapter 9 gives a narrative of what happened.

    Acts 9 chapter mention

  225. So let me read those few verses for us.

  226. The Bible says this Acts, chapter 9.

    Acts 9 chapter mention

  227. The Bible says this Acts chapter 9.

    Acts 9 chapter mention

  228. Meanwhile, saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the lost disciples.

  229. He went to the high priest as he, as he neared, just go back.

  230. He went to the high priest, okay, and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus so that if he found any there who belonged to the way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

  231. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly tell your neighbor.

  232. Suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

  233. He fell to the ground and he heard a voice saying to him Saul, saul, why do you persecute me?

  234. Who are you, lord?

  235. Saul asked I'm Jesus, whom you are persecuting?

  236. He replied Now get up and go into the city and you'll be told what you must do.

  237. The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless.

  238. They heard a sound but did not see anyone.

  239. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing.

  240. So they led him by the hand into Damascus.

  241. For three days he was blind and did not eat or drink anything.

  242. In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias.

  243. The Lord called to him in a vision Ananias, tell your neighbor, god knows your name.

  244. Even those names that people don't know, the names that are not in your ID, the name your mother calls you when you have done something wrong.

  245. He knows your name.

  246. Hallelujah, yes, lord.

  247. He answered.

  248. The Lord told him go to the house of Judas on Straight Street.

  249. I like this one because God also knows your address.

  250. God knows where you stay.

  251. I know you keep saying you live in Lovington Kumba.

  252. You come from Lovington West.

  253. Hello, god knows where you stay.

  254. And he asked for a man from Tassas named Saul for his praying.

  255. In a vision, he has seen a man named Ananas come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.

  256. Lord Ananas answered I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem, and he has come here with authority from the chief priest to arrest all who call on your name.

  257. But the Lord said to Ananias and I love what he said go, this man is my chosen instrument.

  258. I want to tell you this you're chosen.

  259. Grace will choose you.

  260. He is a chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and the kings and to the people of Israel.

  261. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.

  262. Then Ananas went to the house and entered it, placing his hands on Saul.

  263. He said Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  264. Immediately something happened.

  265. Something like scales fell from Saul's eyes and he could see again.

  266. He got up and was baptized and after taking some food, he regained his strength.

  267. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus.

  268. At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.

  269. Tell your neighbor that is grace, hallelujah.

  270. Such a transformation, such a change and grace activates salvation and I pray that.

  271. If you are here and you have never engaged that salvation, let me tell you this salvation is not about you being a baptist.

  272. Salvation is not about you being a presbyterian.

  273. Salvation is you having a relationship with a.

  274. His name is Jesus Christ.

  275. But secondly, very quickly, grace activates supply.

  276. The Bible says this 2 Corinthians 9, verse 8 to 10.

    2 Corinthians 9:8–10

  277. Because many times we think that salvation is just grace is about salvation.

  278. Let me tell you this God cares about what you care about.

  279. It says this and God is able, tell your neighbor able.

  280. God is able to bless you how Abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

  281. Let me read this in the Amplified Version.

  282. The Amplified says it this way God will supply.

  283. It says, and God is able to make what?

  284. All grace, every favor and earthly blessing come in abundance.

  285. Where To you?

  286. Put your name there, because this week God's grace will reach To you.

  287. Put your name there Because this week God's grace will reach out to you In abundance, to you, so that you may always, under all circumstances, regardless of the need, have complete, what Sufficiency in everything.

  288. Have complete what Sufficiency In everything, being completely self-sufficient in him and having an abundance for every good work and act of charity.

  289. God will supply your need according to his riches in glory.

  290. And you know sometimes when we're talking about supply.

  291. Sometimes we think about the big things, the big things, but sometimes God will supply something that got lost, a key that you have been looking for and you cannot find it.

  292. And that key is so important.

  293. God is able to cause that key to show up.

  294. God will supply.

  295. God will supply.

  296. God will supply.

  297. Grace will make supply to come your way.

  298. This same grace is able to supply even when things have been taken away from you, hallelujah.

  299. You know the story of Job.

  300. Job, in one day, suffered a tsunami of heartache.

  301. One day, everything turned around.

  302. One day, fire fell, children died, oxen taken, camels taken.

  303. One day, in one day.

  304. I even wonder how Job survived.

  305. If it was today, job would be in a psychiatric hospital.

  306. One day.

  307. Boom, how can a man handle it?

  308. Making things worse, the wife tells him now, when things are outside, it's okay, but when they come into the house and your biggest pillar tells you, cast this god and job still stands and says I don't know what is happening, I don't know why it is happening, but it has happened.

  309. Blessed be the name of the Lord, our God.

  310. And then he made a statement which is half true.

  311. He said this God has given and God has taken away.

  312. Now I want to say this so that you don't communicate foolishness, even as you do certain things.

  313. Tell your neighbor foolishness out.

  314. Wisdom in God gave, but who took?

  315. Let me speak to the other ones on this side.

  316. God gave, who took, satan took.

  317. God never takes anything away from you.

  318. He gives and he gives again.

  319. But you see, job did not know that and sometimes we say things we don't know the bigger picture.

  320. We don't know that God was vouching on Job's righteousness to tell the devil.

  321. Listen, job is a righteous person.

  322. And the devil says if you can just take some things away from him, this guy, his faith is going to be crushed, he's going to curse you.

  323. And Job didn't know.

  324. But let me tell you this From Job chapter 1 to Job chapter 40, job was struggling, his friends were telling him all kinds of things and Job was just struggling with this whole thing until grace showed up.

Job 1 chapter mention Job 40 chapter mention

  325. And I'm telling you, god will remember you, grace will come your way.

  326. And God showed up, grace came.

  327. There's a time when God shows up.

  328. The Bible says this in Job 42, verse 10.

    Job 42:10

  329. Let me read those verses, because grace will come your way, grace will come your way.

  330. It says, after Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

  331. For the first time, we have not even heard of his brothers and sisters.

  332. When grace shows up, your relatives will show up.

  333. Hallelujah, your relatives, it says.

  334. All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house.

  335. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and gold.

  336. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part.

  337. He had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen and 1,000 donkeys, and he also had seven sons.

  338. How many sons had he lost?

  339. How many had he lost?

  340. Look at your neighbor, ask your neighbor, sunday school Likupita.

  341. How many sons did he lose?

  342. Okay, get time.

  343. I don't want to read Job chapter 1, but get time to read that.

    Job 1 chapter mention

  344. But God restored.

  345. He had seven sons and three daughters.

  346. Look at their description.

  374. God may not give you back what you lost, but let me tell you this God can collapse the years from 2024 and 2019 and bring them boom so that it is like nothing ever happened.

  375. Nothing ever happened.

  376. Your friends may have continued their life.

  377. Nothing happened to them.

  378. They were okay, and so for nearly four years, everything was working out, and they're quite ahead of you, quite ahead of you.

  385. In Jesus' name, come on, somebody better receive it now.

  386. In Jesus' name, yes, he's able to do it.

  387. That's what God says.

  388. He's a God of supply.

  389. Somebody is saying I don't know how he's going to do this.

  390. I don't think he's able to do this.

  391. But let me tell you this you know God uses strange things to do this.

  392. I don't think he's able to do this, but let me tell you this God uses strange things to restore things.

  393. God uses things you did not expect to make things happen.

  394. You know, there's a story in the Bible called the famine in Samaria.

  408. It's one something.

  409. One seventeen.

  410. Tell your neighbor, ambrose is about to finish the message About this time.

  411. So check your clock.

  412. This time tomorrow, tomorrow is Monday.

  413. Okay.

  414. About this time tomorrow, a seer of finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seers of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.

  415. Now listen to what this guy and believing believer.

  416. This guy said this.

  417. The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God look, even if the Lord should open the flood gates of heaven, could this happen?

  418. Elisha said.

  419. You will see it with your own eyes, answered Elisha, but you will not eat any of it.

  420. Then God now uses unlikable people.

  421. Now there were four men with what?

  422. Leprosy at the entrance of the city gate.

  423. The reason why they were there?

  424. They were thrown out.

  425. They were outcasts.

  426. They said to each other I like this conversation.

  427. Why stay here until we die?

  428. If we say we'll go into the city, the famine is there and we will die, and if we stay here we will also die.

  429. So let's go to the camp of the Arameans and surrender.

  430. If they spare us, we leave.

  431. I mean, that is simple.

  432. If they kill us, I love that statement.

  433. The bible says at dusk they got up.

  434. These were lepers and I keep saying they shuffled, shuffled.

  436. At dusk they got up, went to the camp of the remains, shuffling, shuffling.

  437. At dusk they got up, went to the camp of the Arameans, shuffling, shuffling when they reached the edge of the camp.

  438. No one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite, and the Egyptians came to attack us.

  439. So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys and they left the camp as it was and ran for their lives the opposite direction, shuffling, shuffling, shuffling, shuffling.

  440. God can use a shuffle to bring a miracle.

  441. Let me tell you this God will supply your needs.

  446. Listen to this the men who had leprosy.

  447. I like these guys.

  448. These are simple guys.

  449. I like them.

  450. The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp, entered one of the tents and did what they ate and drank.

  451. Then they took silver and gold.

  452. Why didn't they take silver and gold first?

  453. Tell your neighbor, ninja, ninja, all right.

  454. They took their silver clothes and went off and hid them.

  455. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also.

  456. Then they said to each other you guys, what are we doing?

  457. What we are doing is not right.

  458. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it from ourselves.

  459. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us.

  460. Let us go at once and report this to the royal palace.

  461. So they went and called out to the city gatekeepers and told them hey, you guys, we went to the Aramean camp and no one was there, not a sound of anyone, only tethered horses and donkeys.

  462. And the tents left as they are.

  463. The gatekeeper shouted the news and it was reported to the palace.

  464. The king got up in the night and said to his officers I will tell you what the Arameans have done to us.

  465. They know we are starving, so they have left the camp to hide in the countryside, thinking they will surely come out and they will do ABCD.

  466. The king thought it was a trap.

  467. God was saying an opportunity has come this week.

  468. You will be surprised.

  469. I'm talking to somebody now.

  470. This week.

  471. You'll be surprised.

  472. Grace is coming your way.

  480. Then he said this God, remove these things from me.

  481. But the Lord said to me my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

  482. And Paul said, therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.

  483. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in life, for when I am weak, then I'm what I'm strong.

  484. Pastor Simon, let me just read a passage here to show you the shortcomings.

  493. He says, through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report, genuine, yet regarded as imposters.

  494. Known, yet regarded as as unknown, dying and yet we live on, beaten and yet not killed, sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.
