June Theme Vision Week 4: Restored by Favor: The Transformative Story of Mephibosheth

Greetings and welcome.

In the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, I have the joy of bringing you a word titled Located by Favor.

Located by Favor.

This word I bring us comes from the book of 2 Samuel 9, and I will read verse 3, verse 6, and verse 7.

This is what the Bible says In verse 3, 6 and verse 7.

This is what the Bible says in verse 3.

The king asked is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God's kindness?

When Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor.

David said Mephibosheth, at your service.

He replied, verse 7, don't be afraid.

David said to him, for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father, jonathan, I will restore to you listen to this I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather, saul, and you'd always eat at my table, located by favor.

This favor locates you by name, locates you for restoration and locates you for honor.

I'll say three things Locates you by name, locates you for restoration and locates you for honor.

The story I've just read is a story of a gentleman called Mephibosheth who had been treated badly by life and completely thrown in a place of darkness, far in a place called Lodiba.

But the favor of the king locates him, and the favor of the king brings him all the way to the king's table.

And this, located by favor that I'm sharing with, is active.

Favor is powerful, favor is divine.

Favor is a king's favor that is able to do something wonderful in your life and today receive it in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mephibosheth was located by this favor, by name of Jesus Christ.

In fact, the king calls him in verse 6, the second part.

He said David said Mephibosheth at your service.

He replied the favor of the king calls out Mephibosheth by name.

God's favor calling you by name.

God knows you by name and his favor is calling you by name.

No one can take your favor because it's designated by name.

It is labeled your name and may this kind of favor come in your direction.

That is labeled in your name, that nobody can take away.

And so this favor locates you by name.

Secondly, it locates you for restoration.

Now, when we read in verse 7, it says Don't be afraid, david said to him, for I will surely show you kindness.

For the sake of your father, jonathan, I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather.

The favor of restoration is coming in your direction.

You may have lost so much in your life, but this kind of favor brings back everything.

You may have lost so much in your life, but this kind of favor brings back everything.

May favor that is magnetic, favor that calls back everything that belongs to you, come upon your life.

It's a favor I'm talking about.

Mephibosheth is about to receive back that which was lost in his life.

He has come from a small place called Lodiba.

Now he's come all the way and the king's favor is at work.

God is about to restore everything in your life.

He has come from a small place called Lodiba.

But finally, this is favor that you know for honor.

You're located for honor by this favor.

In the last part of verse 7, it says the following and you will always eat at my table.

So Mephibosheth is lifted from that low place where he was and brought into the king's court, and the king's favor is speaking and saying you'll always eat at the king's table and I declare to you that God is lifting you from down there and he'll bring you to the place by this favor, where you can always eat at the king's court.

Make this your prayer today and you say may favor, divine favor, locate me, favor that calls me by name, favor that restores me and favor that brings me to a place of honor.

May this be your portion right now.

Receive this kind of favor in Jesus' name.
