August Week 2 Theme Vision Week 2 - Uplifted Kingdom Intercession

Praise God.

I greet all in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior.

This very day, as we meditate on the Word of God, on the approved kingdom intercession, approved kingdom intercession, interceding for ourselves, interceding for one another, and therefore I would like us to dive into the Word of God.

The disciples who walked with Jesus at some point in Luke, chapter 11, asked Jesus teach us how to pray.

They realized there's a language, there's a way you are supposed to intercede, and they realized maybe they were doing it amiss and maybe that's when they were not getting the results.

As we meditate on this word, as we meditate on the word in the Matthew chapter 6, as Jesus taught them how to pray Matthew chapter 6, from verse 9 to 13, and I read pray then like this our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors and lead us not in temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

It is just a simple kind of a template on how we are supposed to face our Father in heaven.

As a father.

I am a father.

When my children are coming to me, they want something.

There's a father.

I am a father.

When my children are coming to me, they want something.

There's a language, there's a tone they use so that I can listen to them and actually I can be able to provide what they need and therefore there's a language.

You don't approach your father just the way you approach your mom and every other sector.

If you were to approach the president, there's a language that we tend to use and therefore, in this kind of a template that Jesus gave to his disciples and now in the modern church, modern Christians, three aspects that I see coming out of that text, or that text that we have just read about one advancing God's kingdom.

That we see it from verse 10, where he says and may your kingdom come and may your will be done when here on earth, as it is in heaven.

That's one.

The second one is provision and sustenance.

God will provide, give us our daily bread.

And the third one, deliverance and forgiveness.

Forgiveness verse 12, when it talks and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And those three areas.

That's what I like the two minutes that we have as we meditate on it this very day, one advancing God's kingdom Verse 10 he talks and may your kingdom come.

May your will be done.

That is divine order, justice, peace and righteousness.

When we come to God, we ask what is your will?

You knew us.

You are the one who have given us, this very day, gift of life, gift of health we are not in hospital Wherever you are.

Whichever, the issue is reflecting on the divine order and on divine direction in the area that you are trusting God for, and therefore recognizing his order, that he's the one who has authority and power to do everything, advancing God's kingdom beyond where you are, to the others and as you do so.

Matthew, chapter 6, verse 33, talks about seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the others shall be added unto you.

And therefore, what is that that you are trusting God for?

Seek ye first, his kingdom and his righteousness.

The second is about provision and sustenance Verse 11, he talks about give us this day our daily bread.

What is our daily bread?

Behold the physical, the bread that we can eat.

Build the emotional aspect, the spiritual aspect, telling God you are the provider, you are the one who gives us all that we need.

As we pray not only for ourselves, we pray even for the others.

We pray for those surrounding us, our neighbors, our communities, our nation, particularly now when we reflect about the national floods where all nations, during the Olympics, are gathered.

As a believer, as a Christian, are we praying for all those, because God is the one who gives the gift, provision and sustenance.

And the third one is about deliverance and forgiveness.

Forgive and forgive us our debts verse 12.

Where the importance of spiritual cleansing, the importance of divine protection and many more about all those.

And therefore, as we reflect this very day, may God remind us may God help us to start about advancing his kingdom that he's the one who provides and sustains us and, above all, that he's the one who provides and sustains us and, above all, that he's the one who forgives and delivers us from all the evils and the calamities that we face.

And therefore, may you have an uplifted day of interceding, not only for yourself but for the others and all for his glory.
