I'm going to ask a few words.
-
Praise God.
-
God is good, indeed, he is all the time.
-
I greet you all in the name of Jesus Christ this very morning.
-
My name is Pastor Andrew Mashina and I want to bring to you the meditation word that God has put into my heart as we continue reflecting on the uplifted kingdom language or intercession, and to say that there's a heavenly language.
-
There's a language in every sector, in every area, in every people of different calibre that you meet.
-
There's how you communicate with them.
-
There's a language and that's why, particularly those who teach children, they are taken for a special training at a childhood development to learn how to communicate to a child.
-
Those who speak to androids, those who speak to in the, in the sports world.
-
There's a language in every other area and therefore, as a believer, as a Christian, also, when we are communicated to our Heavenly Father, there's a way we communicate to him.
-
There's a language to that and how we need to actually face him and face his throne.
-
And my texts, or rather my text for meditation this very morning, comes from the book of zephaniah.
-
Prophet zephaniah, as he was prophesying in zephaniah, chapter 3, verse 9, he says for that time I'll change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the Lord and serve him with one accord.
-
In another version that I used here in my other version, it states for then I will purify the lips of the people, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder.
-
I love that.
-
I love that, and as I was reflecting about this and in the theme of the month, a Priveted Kingdom Intercession, the heavenly language, my title here is the heavenly language.
-
It gives me the dimension that I'd like us to reflect about.
-
And one is about restoration of unity.
-
Psalms 133 talks about unity of purpose and where the family that lives in unity, god, commands a blessing.
-
Second is about purification and holiness.
-
Matthew 12, verse 34 talks about out of the abundance of our heart, the mouth speaketh, so purification and holiness.
-
Matthew 12, verse 34 talks about out of the abundance of our heart, the mouth speaketh, so purification and holiness.
-
And the third is the universal worship, and that's what he's talking about Shoulder to shoulder, shoulder to shoulder.
-
So those three areas Restoration and unity, purification and holiness, and the universal worship.
-
The universal worship how do we go about it?
-
How do you find ourselves here?
-
In Hebrew, chapter 13, verse 15, it talks about how God sanctifies our leads so that the lips that are worshiping God are not the same lips that are talking ill about someone else.
-
They're not the same lips that are talking ill about you in the nation, for example, as those who are listening and following this from kenya.
-
If you are really, god has given you the niche, we have position in the nation of kenya, may we talk good about the nation of kenya, pray about the nation of kenya, intercede to it, to our father, about the nation of kenya.
-
May the same leap praise god, but don't talk about your nation't talk ill about your family or your child and expect different results.
-
May our lips be pure.
-
Indeed, like Zephaniah was talking about, he was professing about the children of Israel, how they have lived, and God said in the future.
-
The future is now In the future.
-
The future is now the modern church that people will worship God.
-
He will sanctify their lips.
-
May God sanctify our lips.
-
May we worship him in truth and in spirit.
-
May there be abundance out of our hearts to worship him in purity from our lips and from our hearts.
-
Therefore, we shall be, there will be harmony and there will be mutual service as we do so.
-
The second one is about the unification, or rather the unity and restoration whereby we worship God in truth and in spirit, whereby we not be separating among ourselves, saying that department or that ministry or that church, whereby there will be unity of purpose and when we do so, even as a family, we come together.
-
If we were worshiping the true God, the God of heaven, the God of earth, all of us would be worshiping, all of us will be trusting God unto it, not trusting Mormon's money, no, trusting the God of heaven in unity as a family, not going this direction and the other going the other direction.
-
May there be unity of believers as we worship.
-
I'm a pastor in charge of small groups, the house groups, and therefore, even as I teach them and I encourage them to worship and to believe this God in unity and in oneness, and that's how we tap the blessing the Lord has given unto us.
-
So, unity of purpose.
-
The third one is about the universal worship and call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder, meaning we shall be able to break barriers of religiosity, barriers of interdenomination whereby we shall say that we are having a day of prayer and fasting, and all believers, be it whether you are, from whichever denomination, we shall come together to that voice and we worship God in truth and spirit.
-
When we say we are going to an outreach to go to visit those who are less destitute in our community, we shall not say, now, that's a Baptist thing, that's a Presbyterian thing.
-
No, we shall all come together.
-
May there be that unity, may there be that universal worship that we shall worship God and do as he directs us to do.
-
And therefore my lary call this very morning, as we worship and as we meditate on this word in the Zephaniah, chapter 3, verse 9, and also in Hebrew, chapter 13, verse 15 to 21, may we understand those three things that there will be restoration of unity among ourselves as believers, where there shall be purification and holiness from our hearts and our spirits and therefore, so that our mouth shall speak forth and prophesy to our children, our nation, to the future that we know nothing about, prophesying with truth and in spirit.
-
And the third thing is about the universal worship worshiping this god without disregarding the color, disregarding the race it is, regarding the nationality you come from, disregarding the, the, the generation whereby we come together, from Generation Alpha, generation Z, millennials, alpha, all of us coming together to worship this God.
-
And that's what Zephaniah was prophesying to the nation of Israel, telling them a time will come, and for here I am saying a time is now.
-
That time Zephaniah was prophesying, it's already here with us and therefore, may we be found faithful in this area, may you as an individual, may you also desire to grow in these three areas that we have highlighted this very morning, and therefore, may God bless you.
-
May God help you as we do this.
-
Shalom, and God bless you as you proceed with your day, asante.
