  1. of women in the presence of our God.

  2. He is a King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

  3. He is here, he is about to minister to us and he is doing us good and I believe that you have enjoyed the service so far and I believe that God Almighty is about to do something extraordinary in this place because he is here.

  4. Wherever God went, where Jesus went, he did something good and I believe he is going to do something good in our Mid-East this beautiful evening.

  5. I want to just bring only one announcement before I get to the word of God.

  6. Our brother, our pastors, pastor Simon, his brother, is not feeling well and he has not been well for the last two weeks.

  7. He was taken ill last Sunday, but one, and now he is currently in ICU and we are praying for him and want to believe in his healing.

  8. We want to trust God that our pastor's brother he's called Andrew Kamau that he'll be well.

  9. So for the last two weeks he has been in ICU and the bill has been going up and up, and so as a church we have come together to support that family, to pray with them.

  10. Every day at one o'clock we gather together to pray from one o'clock up to 1.30 to stand with Pastor Simon and the whole family.

  11. Pastor Riggs has been able to speak to him this evening and the brother is still in ICU.

  12. So if you want to give towards Andrew Bill, this is the pay bill number 805-8281.

  13. The account name is your name.

  14. So please, let's join hands and pray and also take time to pray for our pastor.

  15. It's not a very easy time for that family.

  16. They have been having a very difficult two weeks and we trust God that he will be able to stand.

  17. As you know, our senior pastor is on leave and therefore our associate pastor is currently the one who is reading the church, so it becomes even a heavy burden for him.

  18. Will you mind us we take time to pray for that family?

  19. Let us pray, heavenly Father, we thank you so much for our brother, andrew Kamau, who is not feeling well and he's in hospital.

  20. We have been praying and we've been standing and we've been telling God that we need a miracle on him and that, god, we know that you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above.

  21. We can never ask, think or even imagine.

  22. We also know that, god, you're standing with that family, that Degwa's family.

  23. Oh God, we want to pray for our associate pastor, pastor Simon, even in this very difficult time in their family.

  24. We want to proclaim the peace of God upon them as we speak, the supernatural power of God to heal our brother and to make him well.

  25. We know that God, you are able and that God you shall not disappoint.

  26. We are standing with this family this night and saying God, may the healing power of Jesus tremendously move to our brother's life and make him whole, for it is in Jesus' name we pray.

  27. Amen, Hallelujah.

  28. I also want to appreciate our pastors.

  29. We have Pastor Riggs who is in the house.

  30. I also want to appreciate our senior pastor, who has given me the opportunity to share the word of God this evening.

  31. He is on leave.

  32. He is taking time just to write the theme book for 2025.

  33. I know this evening he'll be leaving the country and also we are praying for him and we thank God for what is happening to his life and we are so grateful.

  34. I want to honor him for the opportunity he has always given unto me and also being able to stand with me, and I am forever grateful.

  35. I don't take it for granted.

  36. I want us to share the word of God this evening and I want us to read the scriptures.

  37. We shall be reading from the book of Mark, chapter 5.

    Mark 5 chapter mention

  38. Mark, chapter 5.

    Mark 5 chapter mention

  39. If you can find yourself in Mark, chapter 5, then verse 21.

    Mark 5 chapter mention

  40. Then we shall read all through to verse 35.

  41. Mark, chapter 5, verse 21 to 35.

    Mark 5:21–35

  42. The Bible says when Jesus had again crossed over by the boat to the other side of the rake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the rake, him while he was by the rake.

  43. Then one of the synagogue readers named Jairus came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet.

  44. He pleaded anistry with him my ritual daughter is dying.

  45. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.

  46. So Jesus went with him.

  47. The scripture continued to say under the care of many doctors had spent all that she had.

  48. Yet instead of getting better, she grew worse.

  49. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought if I just touch his clothes, I'll be healed Immediately.

  50. Her breathing stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

  51. At once, jesus realized that the power had gone out of him.

  52. Jesus realized that the power had gone out of him.

  53. He turned around in the crowd and asked who has touched my clothes?

  54. Jesus, you see the people crowding against you.

  55. His disciples answered and yet can ask who touched me, but Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.

  56. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet, trembling with fear, and told him the whole truth.

  57. He said to her Daughter, your faith has healed you.

  58. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.

  59. While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.

  60. Your daughter is dead.

  61. They said why bother the teacher anymore?

  62. Every time I've ever read this scripture, it's one of the scriptures that every time I read I get some goosebumps, because it's a scripture that has changed my thinking, my life.

  63. It has made me to be who I am in the area of prayer, and this is a wonderful evening when we are speaking about the open door language, an uplifted intercession, an amazing month that we have had, that we have been speaking about access granted, and so whenever I read about this story, it gives me a dimension of life, about prayer, and today I want to speak to us in a very short time, and then we shall have time just to make sure we pray A prayer that gets the attentions of the heaven, a prayer that makes sure that heaven stops everything and attends to you because of the kind of prayer that you have made.

  64. There is a prayer you can make and use a language that will make the heaven just decide that today we must attend to you and today we are going to be hearing about such kind of a prayer, and then we are going to make such a prayer that can stop the heavens and answer and attend to your life.

  65. This is a woman that, when we are talking about access, granted, it's a woman who is suffering from bleeding for 12 years.

  66. This is a woman that we are talking about when we are saying that there is a door that has been opened but she is struggling to access Jesus.

  67. This woman had had two issues that was nagging her that could make her not being able To access where Jesus.

  68. Was this woman?

  69. One thing she was a Jew and in tradition that time, as a Jew, to be able to access A man Was a big deal.

  70. Just because she was a Jew, she could not be able to access a man was a big deal.

  71. Just because she was a Jew, she could not be able to be in a place where men are and Jesus being God but presenting himself as a man.

  72. It was very difficult for this woman to bring her case to Jesus Just because she was a woman, so she was disadvantaged.

  73. Another thing is that in the traditions is that a woman who was bleeding could not come to public.

  74. And so for this woman, who was struggling for 12 years bleeding, had a problem to access Jesus because she was bleeding and she could not come to public.

  75. So she was there when the church was talking about an open door.

  76. She could not be able to access this open door because she was disadvantaged, she was bleeding.

  77. So we have a woman who is affected by the traditions Because women could not appear to Jesus Because he was a man, and so they could not come close to where this man was.

  78. Another disadvantage to her is that she was bleeding.

  79. She had been bleeding for 12 years.

  80. Then this story introduced a man.

  81. The Bible says that there was a man who was the leader of the synagogue, a man who had the diary of what was happening in the spirit life, a man who knew where Jesus could be accessed.

  82. A man who knew where Jesus could be accessed, a man who was a man like Jesus, was A man who had authority because he was in synagogue, he was a deacon, he was a big man, he was a pastor.

  83. He was the man that could be able to access where Jesus was.

  84. And the scripture says that he comes to Jesus.

  85. He knows that Jesus is in town and he comes in front of Jesus and says my daughter is sick and dying.

  86. In fact, the scripture says that he fell on his feet and he made a drama.

  87. But there is another woman who cannot make a drama.

  88. She is disadvantaged.

  89. She doesn't know how granted access means, because every time she wants to access the granted access, she could not get through Because she was just a woman and she was bleeding.

  90. On this other side there, just a woman and she was bleeding.

  91. On this other side there is a man who can access Jesus at any time.

  92. In fact, what we read the scripture says that she speaks to Jesus and he tells Jesus would you come to my house?

  93. I don't want you to heal her here.

  94. I want you to come to my house, where my daughter is.

  95. She had an access.

  96. But there's another woman who has no access.

  97. She has no access, who could not even appear in front of Jesus because of her condition, but another man who could be able even to command the king of kings to come with him to his house to go and heal her daughter.

  98. Can you see such kind of thought, a picture that is displayed here Two things had happened.

  99. Thought A picture that is displayed here Two things had happened the very year this daughter was born.

  100. The scripture says that that daughter if you read verse 42, it says that this daughter was 12 years.

  101. So the very year that this daughter was born is the very year this woman got sick.

  102. She has been struggling for 12 years trying to look for healing and the scripture says that every time she spent money with the doctors, the scripture records and says that everything got worse and she could not access Jesus Because every time she wanted to meet Jesus, the two issues appeared to her You're a woman and you're bleeding.

  103. You're a woman and you're bleeding.

  104. You're a woman and you're bleeding.

  105. Every time you want to come to this church and God wants to minister to you, you always come with your issues I am a woman, I'm broke, I'm not important, I have failed God, I'm a sinner, I'm not important, I have failed God.

  106. I'm a sinner, I'm not okay, I cannot meet Jesus.

  107. You have been here like a woman, but you have been having issues and so when you come to church, you see the deacon and you see the pastors and you feel these guys are accessing Jesus anytime.

  108. But for me, I come, I stay in the pews, but they talk about an open door, but when I look at my life, I don't think there is a door that has been opened Because I'm disadvantaged.

  109. I got a child in high school and everyone got to know about it, and so they have labeled me the sinner of the day.

  110. In fact, they don't want me with their youth, Because the moment they see me with their youth, they think I'm going to affect their children.

  111. So I come with an issue of blood.

  112. For 12 years, a woman, a woman, a woman.

  113. For 12 years she's struggling with one single issue of bleeding.

  114. But the Bible says this that this woman looked at Jesus and knew something can be done.

  115. And the scripture records and says that she said with her mind if only I can touch the hem of his garment, I don't need him to know my name, I don't need him to even come to my house.

  116. I don't need him to do anything, even to know my name.

  117. I don't need him to even come to my house.

  118. I don't need him to do anything, even to know my name, but only if I can touch his clothes.

  119. My life can change.

  120. This bleeding can stop, and I want to bring to your attention this.

  121. The reason that this woman understood that this man, I don't need to do anything with him, the only thing I need is to touch his clothes is because it took time to study about Jesus, and so she knew the authority that this man was carrying around.

  122. I want to ask ourselves do we know the power of the king that we follow?

  123. Do we know the authority of the God we love?

  124. The Bible says that this woman said in her mind if only I can touch the hem of his garment, because this is a woman who knew what the word says.

  125. It says that everything that comes out of his mouth will not go back void, but it will accomplish what he has meant for, because he knew that his word is alive and active.

  126. A double-edged sword that penetrates and active.

  127. A double-edged sword that penetrates.

  128. He had studied along that this is a Jesus who finds the disciples' mother-in-law sick and he heals him.

  129. This is a woman who knew that Jesus has raised people from the dead.

  130. This is a woman who knew that something can happen when I touch the authority that he has.

  131. I want to tell you the prayers that changes or makes heaven to have an attention of you are prayers of a woman, are prayers of a young man, are prayers of a man who knows the authority Of the one he is praying.

  132. The day you will know the very power that is operating Inside him.

  133. It will make you to pray and you pray without doubting.

  134. You pray without seizing.

  135. You pray with confidence because you know he doesn't need to know my name.

  136. He doesn't know.

  137. I don't need to have a title.

  138. All I need to know is that if I come to Patron's Baptist Church, I don't come to meet a man.

  139. I come because there is a God who has power.

  140. I come because I is a God who has power.

  141. I come because I know his word says that he will never leave me, never forsake me.

  142. I come because I know that he doesn't condemn me but he loves me.

  143. I come because I know that nothing shall ever separate me from his love.

  144. I come because I know that he who started good work in me will never, never stop doing good in my life.

  145. I come to pray to a God who says that his ears are attentive to my cry and his eyes are looking at me.

  146. So I will be spending time looking at what God is.

  147. I will be spending time looking at what God is.

  148. I will spend time understanding who God is.

  149. I will never mind about titles.

  150. I will mind about what he says, because I don't know, I don't care.

  151. He doesn't need to have met me before.

  152. All I need is to touch the hem of his garment.

  153. When you know who God is, you enter into a prayer with aggressiveness, with authority, with an understanding.

  154. There is a God who hears prayers and there's a kind of prayers that moves God.

  155. When we pray and we know who we pray, how many people sit down to search who it is?

  156. This woman says I don't need to touch his face, I don't need to touch what he has.

  157. All I need is his clothes.

  158. If I can touch his cloth, he has authority and power.

  159. He has the power that can move from his body to his clothes, to my life.

  160. This is the kind of prayer that makes sure everyone looks at you and they cannot see anything.

  161. But you can tell them there is a power that operates in this place.

  162. This is what's going to make you have passion in prayer.

  163. This is the language of heaven.

  164. When you know for sure that his word is eternal, it fails not.

  165. The Bible says in the book of Psalms 98 that his word has been settled in heaven.

  166. When you know his word has settled in heaven, when you know his word has settled in heaven, you are so powerful and so clear that I'm praying a God who hears my prayer.

  167. When you know of Isaiah 40, verse 8, the scripture says that the flowers wither and the trees fall, but his name, his word, remains.

    Isaiah 40:8

  168. So you stand and you say the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God endures forever.

  169. You are assured of that.

  170. So it doesn't matter how sick our brother is, every time I'm praying for him I'm saying your word says that we are healed.

  171. I don't care what the devil says, I know what the word says.

  172. This is a prayer that moves the mountains.

  173. When we know for sure who our God is, can you imagine what happened that day?

  174. The scripture says that there are so many people around Jesus.

  175. And this woman made her mind and said if I only can touch her hem.

  176. And she went and touched the cloth.

  177. And the scripture says Jesus was surprised.

  178. Somebody has touched me, not somebody I've met before, not somebody with a title, but around you, there's somebody amongst you who have touched me with an understanding that there is authority and power that operates in me.

  179. There are people who pray, but they don't know God, they don't know his power, they don't know his mysteries, they don't know how he picks men.

  180. They do not understand.

  181. They just stand around him, they walk around.

  182. Understand.

  183. They just stand around him.

  184. They walk around him.

  185. They make prayers.

  186. You know the kind of prayers we pray.

  187. Oh God, I don't know if it will happen or we start like this Father in the name of Jesus.

  188. I know I'm a sinner, I'm not good enough, I'm not perfect and nothing happens in my life.

  189. But God, on this issue, please will you mind.

  190. This is a woman who says if only I can touch it shall.

  191. It says it shall.

  192. It's not, maybe it will not happen.

  193. She doesn't come with an attitude.

  194. Maybe, maybe if I only touch him.

  195. He said if I touch him.

  196. If I touch, touch him.

  197. He said if I touch him, if I touch his child, this is not maybe, you know, let me just pray for his son.

  198. This son, father, in the name of Jesus, this son may change, not may.

  199. This child will change.

  200. I am confident Because I know who, he who is.

  201. I'm praying.

  202. You know, father, in the name of Jesus, I don't know, this month will I get some rent.

  203. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

  204. Maybe I will get somebody who will give me some fare home.

  205. I shall get fare home.

  206. This is a kind of a prayer that can make you change.

  207. You know these kind of prayers we make.

  208. You sinned last year and even today you're still repenting that sin.

  209. Father, in the name of Jesus, forgive me for what I've done.

  210. You know, jesus, last year I prayed you forgive.

  211. I know I am forgiven, settled and everything is working out in my life.

  212. This is the kind of prayer that changes life.

  213. This is the kind of prayer that changes life.

  214. This is the kind of prayer that makes your life different.

  215. All these people were touching Jesus.

  216. They were just touching him.

  217. They were going with him, they were scrubbing with him, they were walking around him, but nothing was changing.

  218. But there was this woman who her touch was different, because this kind of a touch is a touch of no reach.

  219. It's a touch with a revelation.

  220. This is the kind of prayer you just don't close your eyes and you walk around Wednesday evening, You're not saying anything.

  221. This is the kind of prayer you know what you need before you go home.

  222. This is the kind of prayer you know what you need before you go home.

  223. This is the kind of prayer that makes me understand that if I know, if I only know that he is God, I will pray and I don't care what my neighbor thinks about me.

  224. The Bible says that there was this man.

  225. His name was Jairus.

  226. This was a guy who was in church.

  227. He had learned about Moses, he had studied about David, he knew everything that was happening in church and he knew the authority and the power of Jesus Christ.

  228. So when he heard that Jesus was around and the daughter was sick, he said he appears.

  229. This is a man who will find himself in an office.

  230. Everything is working.

  231. He doesn't pray for us, like us, for rent or even for bus fare.

  232. This is a manager.

  233. This is a big guy, but he knows you're in your office.

  234. I know that my God will do it.

  235. This is a man who had authority and he knew what God can be able to do.

  236. What am I saying?

  237. I'm saying this when you're in low moments and when things are working out, you must know your God.

  238. When things are okay, you're not having issues with your husband.

  239. In fact, he calls you sweetie.

  240. Even in that time, I still know my God, because the Bible says that this morning, this man, jairus, woke up and the daughter was sick.

  241. Well, there was a woman who had spent 12 years sick.

  242. One day he wakes up and the daughter has been okay, but this time she was dying.

  243. They are met on the same day with the issue that is taking them to grave that one who had struggled, that one that things were not working out, and a man who had spent time in church and everything was okay, upright and okay.

  244. But the two of them, they have one thing in common they knew who Jesus was.

  245. Look at your neighbor and ask them do you really know who Jesus is?

  246. Amen, because the two of them, they were in a place where they needed Jesus.

  247. Sometimes we shall need Jesus when we're in the lowest points of our lives, and sometimes we shall need Jesus when we're in the highest points of our lives.

  248. We all need Jesus.

  249. These are two people who needed him.

  250. The scripture says that these girls one or the two girls were dying.

  251. The scripture says that this woman, every time she went to see the doctor, things were going bad to us, she was dying.

  252. And when Jairus introduces the story, she says my daughter, my daughter, is dying.

  253. The two daughters were dying.

  254. And the defining thing was did they know jesus?

  255. In fact, if you read where we stopped, 36, 37, after that, jesus, because of how he was squeezed by people who were doing nothing.

  256. The scripture says that he told them let not be followed by a crowd.

  257. We can read that 37.

  258. The Bible says he did not let anyone follow him except Peter, james, john and the other brother of James.

  259. He told the rest you have been around here, you have been doing nothing, go back.

  260. They have been quarreling.

  261. How can you say that you have been touched?

  262. Everyone is around you and is touching you.

  263. Jesus looked at them and said these people don't have faith.

  264. You have been touched.

  265. Everyone is around you and is touching you.

  266. Jesus looked at them and said these people don't have faith, let them go back.

  267. He carried those people who had faith.

  268. I want to be amongst the number, people who know Jesus, people who don't waste time, people who came to church and they will go back home again.

  269. Just wake up and go.

  270. But for us, we are not going back again the same way we came.

  271. We have to stand up and touch the hem of his garment.

  272. We must wake up and tell God that I need a change in this area.

  273. I want this to happen.

  274. This must change.

  275. This must have a solution.

  276. This must get changed.

  277. This thing must come out.

  278. This woman didn't know about any other thing.

  279. All she knew there is faith that gives heaven attention.

  280. How do you build that faith?

  281. How do you come to that point that you can look at a situation that is dying?

  282. You know, I've been set up, pastor Riggs, in a place that I looked at things and people say, timor, they pray and they open their eyes to see how I'm going to pray about it.

  283. How do you build your faith that you can play about something?

  284. You make a prayer over something that everyone allowed you.

  285. They have given up.

  286. You need to start building our faith.

  287. You need to spend time reading the word of God.

  288. These are not prayers.

  289. We pray, father, in the name of Jesus.

  290. We bless this food, whoever made these potatoes?

  291. These are the kind of prayers we make because we know where the food came from the Lord, the giver of bread, the heavenly father.

  292. If you want to get the passion of prayer, get to read your word, get to know about that issue that you've been trusting God over.

  293. What does the scripture say?

  294. The day you will know that, the issue you have been praying for and what the Bible says about it, you shall have authority.

  295. This is the cloth that we have to touch.

  296. Jesus had some clothes he had worn and this woman had to touch the cloths of Jesus for her healing to happen.

  297. I present to you a cloth that you can touch and your healing come to be.

  298. This is the cloth, for this is the power of God given to everyone who believes.

  299. This is the authority.

  300. Those clothes that Jesus was wearing.

  301. They represented authority that at the touch of that cloth, the healing was dispensed.

  302. This is the same cloth that Jesus carries around that.

  303. If you study this word and you know the power that Jesus carries around, that, if you study this word and you know the power that it carries forth, then your life will never be the same again.

  304. I want us to stand up.

  305. I have seven minutes and I want us to spend seven minutes in prayer.

  306. I want you not to pray, maybe, but say it shall be.

  307. Start to say it shall be.
