Praise the Lord.
-
Beloved of the Lord, I want to thank God for bringing us to another month of September and, as you all know, september is the month of birthing and we want to trust God to birth new things in our lives.
-
And one of the things that I would pray that the Lord births in our lives is the open door and divestment, uplifted kingdom warfare, where we are going to advance our ministry in the kingdom of God.
-
And as I was thinking through this, what the Lord was reminding me is that, as we move to this month of September, it is important to remember that the war that we are waging, we must be equipped as soldiers of the cross.
-
We know, even on normal circumstances, when the soldiers are going to the war, they must be properly dressed and equipped so that they can be able to win the war.
-
And so for us, beloved of the Lord, as we go out, let us remember we are the soldiers of the cross and if we have to win the battle, if we have to wage a warfare, we must be able to be very well dressed, with the full armor of God.
-
Paul reminds us in Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 10, from verse 10 to 18.
-
This is what the Bible says.
-
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
-
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against powers and blood, but against principalities against powers, against the rulers of this darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
-
Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all in the evil day, and having done all to stand.
-
Stand, therefore, having guarded your waist with the truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness and having stood, shooed your feet, with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the weakened one.
-
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication, for all the saints Praise the Lord.
-
What the Bible says is that we really have to put on the full armor of God, so that when we are fighting this battle, we know it is not our battle, it is the Lord's battle.
-
But then we have to dress with that full armor of God Because you remember, since the days of John the Baptist, we know the kingdom of God suffered violence, and the violence have to take it by force.
-
So, beloved of the Lord, we are not remaining the same again.
-
We are fighting this battle because the Lord Jesus is in us, the Spirit of God is in us.
-
So move out as you advance the kingdom of God.
-
This warfare we are going to fight, we are going to conquer, because Jesus is making for us, and I know we are conquering.
-
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
