September Week 3 Theme Vision - Unlocking Spiritual Power: Overcoming Life's Battles Through Faith

Praise the Lord, welcome to the third week of the month of September.

We continue to focus on our theme Open Door, advancement, uplifted Kingdom, warfare.

Talking about warfare, as believers, we need to know that we are in a battle, but this battle is not our own, it is the Lord's battle.

And therefore, when Paul is speaking to the church at Corinth, in 2 Corinthians 10, verse 3, he says and just quickly he brings out three things from this passage when he's writing to the Corinthians, it is here that he tells them about the nature of our warfare.

2 Corinthians 10:3

And when you combine this with Ephesians, chapter 6, again verse 12, paul, talking about warfare, once again describes the nature of our warfare.

And he says for our struggle and you can replace that with warfare For our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces.

It is important to understand the kind of warfare that we are engaging in.

And when we get to understand the nature of our warfare, then we are going to do the next thing.

We are going to do the next thing we are going to use the appropriate weaponry.

And therefore, in verse four, he tells us that the weapons we fight with are not weapons, again, of this world.

So our weapons are not guns and machetes and all manner of weaponry you can think about.

They will not help us in the warfare, in the battle that we engage in.

But it goes ahead to tell us that our weapons have divine power.

This divine power is to demolish strongholds.

This divine power is to demolish strongholds.

You may look weak, but the weapons that are at your disposal for the war that is before us and the battle that we engage in, they have divine power.

They do not contain worldly power and with them, then, paul is telling us, we are able to demolish strongholds.

Are there strongholds in your life?

Guns may not demolish them, fighting a brother or a sister may not demolish them.

But when you activate the divine weapons, the weapon of prayer, the weapon of faith, the weapon of God's word, into your life, you are able to break down the strongholds.

And then he goes ahead to say that these weapons accomplish.

What is the accomplishment of these weapons in our warfare?

He says Make it obedient to Christ and we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience once your obedience is complete.

Therefore, our weapons, the weapons that are divine that we use to wage war in the spiritual realm.

They bring everything under the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ and therefore, every situation that you are facing in this life.

Today, I am here to assure you in this month that, as you engage prayer, as you engage faith, as you engage the word of God in your life, faith, as you engage the word of God in your life, all this will be brought under the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ and therefore we can confidently say that the battle belongs to the Lord.

May God give you victory over and over again, so that you can glorify his name and you can give a testimony of his doing in your life.
