The title of the message today is Unleashing Kingdom Power Through Prayer.

Unleashing Kingdom Power Through Prayer.

God's power moves like a river through prayer, and when we pray, god begins to do something.

God is waiting for the believer's prayer for him to do the works of heaven here on earth.

For him to do the works of heaven here on earth.

And Moses, aaron and Hur know and understand the place of trusting God in terms of victory, whether victory about small things or victory about big things.

And so Moses, aaron and Hur go up a hill and they have a clean strategy of overcoming the enemy, and that strategy is prayer.

They lift up their hands.

Moses lifts up his hands to God and as long as his hands are up, the Israelites are winning, but when his hands are down, the Amalekites are gaining ground.

I am today calling us to the place of prayer and really trusting God for our victories.

In our own strength, we can only do so much, but with God we can achieve a lot.

I want us to be reminded today that there is one name honored in heaven, on earth and under the earth, and heaven comes to attention when that name is mentioned, and that name is the name Jesus In John, chapter 14, verse 12, what does it say?

Jesus himself is saying something John, chapter 14 and verse 12.

Verily, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than this, because I'm going to the Father.

You know he's going to the Father and I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

So in verse 13, he says the name and then in verse 14, you may ask me, you may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.

When you pray and you sign in the name of Jesus, then what God has promised to do, he says he will do.

And when you pray for power and you pray in the name of Jesus, I assure you that God is going to come through.

Secondly, prayer that is specific.

Prayer that is specific.

When you come to pray, don't just use words everywhere.

Let the agenda you know the agenda of prayer come soonest, because whatever you're praying for needs God's power immediately.

And therefore, you know, articulate your agenda.

You know what is it you want from the Lord.

Jesus prayed differently.

The Pharisees and Sadducees would use so many words, but Jesus, because of his relationship with God and also knowing why he was he was a man on a mission, why he came on planet earth his prayers were very, very precise, were very, very precise, and the disciples looked at him praying like that and they said Luke, chapter 11, verse 1, they said teach us to pray, because they looked at how he was praying and his prayers were different.

You know, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.

The prayers of Jesus were different because they were on point and God wants us to pray specific prayers.

Finally, prayer that is expectant, unleashing kingdom power through prayer.

You need a prayer that is expectant.

The outcome Now let me go back to the book of Exodus, chapter 17, and looking from verse 12.

When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it.

Aaron and Hur held his hands up, one on one side, one on the other, so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with a sword.

Then the Lord said to Moses write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.

Moses built an altar and called it the Lord is my banner, he said.

Because hands were lifted up and this is the outcome here, verse 16.

Because hands were lifted up against the throne of the Lord, the Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.

Now this prayer bore fruit, and the fruit of this prayer was victory.

The evidence of this victory was an altar, you know, raised, called Jehovah is our banner and simply meaning Jehovah Nissi.

And this was supposed to be said to generations, to remind generations that prayer works.

Yes, prayer is work, but prayer also works.

Remind generations that the victory we are enjoying today has come out because of prayer.
