October Week 3 Mission Monday: Transformative Journeys: Sir Henry's Passion for Global Gospel Outreach

Welcome to Mart 28, route 1820, where we bring you Mission Story or Story from the Mission Field.

My name is Sir Henry and I serve in Parklands Baptist Church in Mission Department championing international outreach pillar.

Today I just want to share with you the experience, the touch and the moments in the mission field.

The mission field is where we experience the real power of God.

The Holy Spirit gives us the ability and the power to go out and do exploits in the world.

So as we go witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ this is what we are assured from the book of Mark, chapter 16, verse 15, going into the world and preach the gospel, and these signs shall follow them.

Mark 16:15

That believe in my name, they shall cast out demons in my name, they shall speak in the new tongue in my name, they shall drink deadly things and it shall not hurt them.

This is where we are able to see and experience the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us in the mission.

One of the mission experience I can share with us is when we went to the school outreach and this school outreach it was a moment where we are considering this topic, heeding the Call in Acacia Crest, and this is where we confronted the power of darkness from different angle and different perspective of the students and we are able to see God counseling every work of darkness in the life of these students.

This is where we see the turning around of lives from the power of darkness into his marvelous light.

We don't know what we have until we begin to exercise it.

And this is the moment, this is the time where we are sharing these mission stories just to inspire you so that to be engaged and be involved.

The Bible says ask me of the nation and I'll give it to you.

The nation is waiting for us just to arise and shine and to let the light shine through us so that those nations may believe the power of the gospel.

So God is counting on you, god is counting on me, and the way to engage is by one being available, two being willing to be sent and the third thing, the Lord will do it.

He'll give us the ability to do the work.

So avail yourself, be willing and the Lord will give you the ability.

One of the testimony that we hear every time we go to the mission field is that it transforms you and it transforms the people around there.

So it is an inbound and outbound transformation.

When you go to this mission field is when you will see, indeed, the real transformation happen in the mission.
