October Week 4 Commission Thursday: Unleashing Your Potential: Embracing the Call to Transform Lives

Welcome to Commission Thrive, where every believer is a witness of Christ, an ambassador of Christ and the salt and the light of the world.

I'll begin by asking a question Are you ready?

Today we are reading from the book of Matthew, chapter 9, verse 37.

Matthew 9:37

And that, yet it say that If you are a believer, you have the Holy Spirit in you and you have the ability to go and reach out to win souls.

And so the Bible is reminding us that the harvest is plentiful, so we don't have an excuse.

Maybe you are asking yourself a question that is it a must that I go outside there and preach the word of God?

In your neighbors we have people who don't know Christ.

So that is the mission field.

There is a quote that says that every heart with Christ is a missioner and every heart without Christ is a mission field.

So those people who don't know Christ, they're the mission field.

So it can be your neighbor, people whom you work with in your workplace, in your business.

So those are the people that don't know Christ.

So we have been called to reach out to those people so that they can receive Christ, because, again, the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few.

So are you ready?

So you have to be ready so that you can proclaim the gospel of God, because we have the ability, yes, and the ability comes from God only.

So, as Christians, we have the ability to reach out to others, and the ability comes from God.

It doesn't come from us, but God has given us the ability.

So we don't have an excuse.

As long as you are a believer, you have to preach the word of God, and we have different abilities and talents.

So be reminded that you are supposed to go outside there and proclaim the word of God.
