November Week 1 Theme Vision: Empowered by Faith: Finishing the Year Strong with Divine Renewal

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and as we step into the month of November, we really want to thank God for the year.

God has been good to us.

Indeed, god has opened a door that no man can shut, and God has given us an amazing opportunity.

And especially as we step into this month, we are stepping into a month and we are talking about open door renewal, uplifted kingdom refreshment.

You are very aware that just last month we talked about open door ability, uplifted kingdom power, and so this same God is stepping with us into the month of November.

And many times, when people reach the month of November, they feel they are finished, their strength is winding down and they just don't know what to do because the year has been heavy for them and that by the time they're finishing they will just have no strength.

But I want to bring to your declaration today that this month is the month of open door renewal.

I want to say three things about the open door renewal that's before us.

Number one the Spirit renews us.

Number two the Word refreshes us.

And three the Kingdom of God gives us a perspective to finish strong.

I want to start by the Spirit renews us.

You need to know.

The Bible says in Isaiah 40, verse 31,.

Isaiah 40:31

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

They shall mount up with wings like eagles.

They shall run and not be weary.

They shall walk up with wings like eagles.

They shall run and not be weary.

They shall walk and not faint.

The God we serve is a God who renews us.

He's a God who refreshes us, and he does that by the Spirit of God who dwells within each one of us.

The Bible says Do not be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit, so that you may be able to sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody in your heart.

The Holy Spirit in us is a Spirit who renews us, and I want to tell you this you're going to finish this year strong, not because of what you have, not because of what you have done, but because the Holy Spirit renews us and prepares us for the next season.

And so capture this word this month regardless of what you have gone through, the Holy Spirit will renew you.

In fact, he's starting that today.

But secondly, the word of God refreshes us.

The Bible says that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

The Bible tells us that God's word is like water that refreshes us.

When Jesus Christ was talking to the woman, the Samaritan woman, he said if you knew the one who was asking you for living water, you'd ask him for water and you'd thirst no more.

And Jesus said I give you a drink and that drink will become a well spring inside you to refresh you on a daily basis.

That same book, in John, it says Jesus is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.

And so this month, allow the Word of God to refresh you, to refresh your mind, to refresh your spirit, to refresh your heart, so that you're able to accomplish the purposes of God and fulfill them in this season and in this time.

But thirdly, as we talk about open door renewal, we cannot forget the kingdom.

Jesus said in Matthew 6.33, seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

He says don't be worried about this, don't be worried about that.

We're going to sleep, we're going to what you're going to eat.

The Gentiles, the pagans, look for these things, but it's for you.

Seek first, the kingdom of God.

That kingdom is what enables you to be able to finish your course and to finish it strong.

And we have been saying it, pastor Simon has been saying it, and we want to decree and declare it to you again that in this month of November, as you are renewed and refreshed, the kingdom of God will enable you to finish strong.

Why?

Because the kingdom of God is where the action happens, and so may the Lord bless us this week.

Please again remember open door renewal, the Holy Spirit renewing you, the word of God refreshing you and the kingdom of God enabling you to finish strong.
