We thank God for each one of us.

We are reading our scriptures from the book of John, chapter 9, verse 1 to verse 11.

John 9:1

And it's a very interesting story John, chapter 9, verse 1 to 11.

John 9:1–11

This is what the Bible has recorded for us.

As he went along that is Jesus he saw a blind man, a man blind from birth.

His disciples asked him, rabbi, who sinned this man or his parents, that he was born blind?

And of course we try to ascribe a reason to every form of suffering, and one of the reasons sometimes we come to is a genealogical or generational, and these are very important question.

They raise now that he's he's blind.

Is it that somebody sinned in his lineage?

Then Jesus answers the question in verse 3 neither this man nor his parents sinned, said Jesus, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

As long as it is day, we must do the works of him.

Who sent me?

Night is coming when no one can work, and that's true, we have only a window of time to serve.

Then the night comes.

While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

After saying this, this is what Jesus did His part or his pit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva and put it on the man's eyes.

Go, he told him, wash in the pool of Siloam.

This word means send.

So the man went and washed and came home seeing His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him, because he came home.

He came home seeing.

When he left home he wasn't seeing.

They come back home, he's seeing.

So the neighbors start commentating and those who had formerly seen him begging asked isn't this the same man who used to sit and beg?

Some claimed that he was and others said no, he only looks like him.

But he himself insisted I am the man.

How then?

Why are your eyes open?

They asked.

He replied the man they called Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes.

He told me to go to Siloam and wash.

So I went and washed and then I could see that last part.

I want us to read it together.

So I went as he described what happened, just that part of the full stop.

Once again, we are so grateful that we, in peacetime can gather in a service like this one and that, god, we can look at your word.

We really appreciate this fact and therefore we commit ourselves into your hands, all of us who are here and those who are following the service online.

My God, we commit ourselves into your hands and we pray.

Speak to our hearts In Jesus' name.

We pray and we all say Amen, we may have our seats.

The title of the message today is Impartition of Uncommon Vision.

As you know, pastor Ambrose has opened the gates of the year for us.

I know, pastor Ambrose, you are watching this service online.

Thank you very much.

You have started us very well this year and, as we've entered this year and you know, the theme is here, the theme is here.

I want us to read it loudly, all of us.

Let us read it together.

The year of the Lord's and common spirit-led impartition.

All right, let's say it again the year of the Lord's, uncommon, spirit-led impartition.

And every month there is a division.

The emphasis of the month of January was uncommon vision, impartition of uncommon vision, and Pastor Ambrose has led us very ably through that first session and I'm kind of completing this last Sunday of the month of January and we thank God for taking us this far.

There are three things I want to share under impartation of uncommon vision.

One, a gift from God.

This impartation of uncommon vision is a gift from God.

Secondly, it's manifested through obedience.

And thirdly, it results in glory to God.

So, first of all, a gift from God.

The passage we just read is a passage of giving of vision and God gives it to a man.

He gives it to that man and this demonstrates and proves that God is able to give vision to anyone.

And therefore in the text we find a very uncommon event happening to a common person.

It is a very uncommon event happening to a commoner.

This gentleman, as we have read from the scriptures, was born blind.

In other words, he read from the scriptures was born blind.

In other words, he never saw light.

He was born blind.

But the one who is Mr Light shows up in his environs and Mr Light gives him the gift of vision.

And the gift of light.

I want us to read John 9, verse 4 and 5.

John 9:4

This is amazing.

This is what the Bible says in verse 4 and 5.

As long as it is day, we must do the works of him.

Who sent me?

Night is coming when no one can work, and he said while I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

And after that he goes ahead to prove that he is actually the light.

He is the I am, but he's saying I am the light of the world.

Today I again state the fact that Jesus is the light of the world, and in the absence of Jesus is utter darkness.

If you remove Jesus, then you remain with darkness.

A family where Jesus is not centered is in darkness.

Although it may have this artificial and all these other lights we have around, it is in darkness.

The lights we have around it is in darkness.

A village that doesn't have Jesus at the center is in darkness.

A city that doesn't have Jesus at the center is in darkness, and a continent that is devoid of Christ is actually in darkness.

An individual who hasn't made Jesus the center of their life is actually in darkness, spiritual darkness.

And so Jesus is the light of the world and he came to bring light to our world, and today I pray that every pocket of darkness, light may enter there and chase away that darkness.

In Jesus' name, in your homestead, in your life.

We are praying today that the margins of darkness may be pushed to oblivion, you know, by light marching forward, as it happens in this passage.

And so, when Mr Light shows up, vision must happen.

And I thank God for the way Jesus demonstrates that vision is possible.

And here we are talking not just about physical vision, we are also talking about spiritual vision.

We are talking about vision on the spectrum from the unseen to the seen, the whole range Vision.

We talk about vision, the whole range, the whole range Vision.

We talk about vision, the whole range.

In 2 Corinthians 4, verse 18, the apostle Paul says let's fix our eyes.

Let's fix our eyes not on what is seen, the tangibles like this one, because that is very limited vision Not just on what is seen but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.

And so today we pray 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 9 and 10.

What no eye has seen, 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 9 and 10.

However, as it is written, what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard and what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared for those who love him.

These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit, spirit-led vision.

By his Spirit, the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

So let us pray today, this service for Africa.

Let us pray God give us your kind of vision.

God open our eyes that we may see.

And I want to say that God wants to stretch us through vision, this word stretch, which is the word of this year.

God wants us to stretch us through vision and he wants us to grow our vision beyond the small circle where we have been seeing and begin to see beyond that small circle.

And God wants to stretch us through vision.

Of course, the vision he has given us is bigger than us.

If you look at the Great Commission, the statement of the Great Commission is a statement of both vision and mission.

In that scripture there is both vision and mission, because vision anchors mission, obedience bridges vision into mission.

And so in one scripture Matthew 28, verse 19 and 20, god gives us both vision and mission.

He wants to stretch us.

And when we look at what God wants us to do, it is beyond a village, it is beyond a city, it's even beyond a continent.

It is beyond a city, it's even beyond a continent, it is global.

God wants us to have that kind of vision and therefore he's opening our eyes today in a new way.

The same way he touches this man, he grants him vision.

God wants to grant us vision, he wants to refresh our vision.

So in that verse, matthew 28, he says therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I've commanded you, and surely I'm with you always, to the very end of their age.

So he tells them to go, and then he tells them what to do when they go.

And throughout the Bible, god stretches his people through vision.

Pastor Regan, when you are praying in the morning, you prayed Isaiah.

He says in the year King Uzziah died, isaiah saw the Lord.

Isaiah 6, verse 1.

Isaiah 6:1

And then, after that, following that vision, he's taken to a place he's seeing wonderful.

He's seeing God.

You know the train of the Lord.

Let me just read In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and lifted, high and exalted, seated on a throne, and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Above him was seraphim, each with six wings.

With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying and they were calling to one another Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.

The whole earth is full of his glory, if you jump to verse 8.

Just jump to verse 8 now.

Within the context of this vision, this man is being stretched.

Then he hears the voice of the Lord saying whom shall I send and who will go for us?

And then he responds and he said here I am, send me, here I am, send me.

We are praying the first month of January.

God give us vision.

That is the whole month, the whole January.

That's what we've been doing and we have been praying for vision impartation.

And the vision impartation we are praying for is not just a common vision.

We are praying for the uncommon vision and therefore it is time for us to put aside our small vision and begin to embrace the kingdom vision so that the Lord would actually stretch us.

In Genesis, chapter 13, from verse 14, god takes Abraham somewhere and he's actually stretching his vision.

Sometimes we live in a small space, while God, your destiny, god, has ordained something bigger for you than what you're actually experiencing now.

Yet that which restricts and limits you is just vision.

You know you are living a mission less than you are calling, because the vision is small.

The Lord said to Abraham after the Lord had parted from him, look around from where you are, look to the north and south, to the east and west.

All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.

I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted.

Then he goes ahead and says go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.

In the first service I said that you can never go beyond your vision, and it's very true.

So God puts him there and he says look this way, look to South Africa all the way those nations Look, all the way to the north or Egypt and up there, Look to the west and look to the east.

Look around, just open your eyes.

And I thank God for the young generation because they connect with this very quickly.

Young generation of Africa, the vision you have Pastor Ambrose talked about the dream is valid.

Let me also say your vision is valid, hallelujah, it is valid.

And God is positioning you.

You are in Nairobi.

This city, this country, is a hub of the region.

It is placed somewhere along the equatorial line.

Is it a latitude?

You know the latitude and longitude.

It's a latitude, isn't it?

Yes, and we are at the zero latitude.

God has put us at a very, very, very, very strategic location, a very, very important place Nairobi.

I'm telling you, the destiny of Nairobi is big.

Do you want me to start prophesying?

I get excited and I get here.

God has placed you, blessed you, in an anchor city, but also an anchor nation, and God has a vision and dream for the nation.

Yes, he has for you, but he also has a vision and a dream for our country and also for our city.

And we must not leave less or below that which God has ordained for us.

And I want to say opening our eyes is critical to the understanding of where we are and also what God is about to do.

And that is why God is giving this person vision that they may begin to see and begin to understand and begin to live out the destiny that God ordained for him.

And therefore, vision comes from God.

Now you can get vision from elsewhere.

Therefore, vision comes from God.

Now you can get vision from elsewhere, but let me say, vision comes from God.

The vision that's really for you and the one that will lead you to become everything God wants you to be, is a gift from God.

And this man is given vision.

He's not paying a cent he doesn't pay a dime, like they say for the vision that is granted, and the vision he's getting is uncommon to him because he was born blind, never seen at all.

Sometimes we take it for granted when we see, you know, you, look around, you can see, we take it for granted.

But for this particular person, never seen before, but suddenly something uncommon happening to a commoner, god is coming through for somebody, hallelujah.

And God is able to do something big, something uncommon, something tremendous as a gift, and don't have to pay a cent for it For anyone, for everyone and for anyone.

And so you're listening to me on the line and here I want you to know that God is saying in the month of February, because he has given us vision in the month of January.

Now we are going into February and we shall be considering as all a life.

God is saying that I am going to do uncommon things among common people.

Is somebody connecting with that?

That's what God is saying right now.

I'm going to do like I did for this guy.

I'm going to do something uncommon and sometimes we sit back there thinking God has forgotten me.

I'm saying God is passing by and God, that family, that individual who has stayed in the dark space for a long time, where you can't see, you know a long distance and you've been there for a long, long time, restricted and you know, kind of put in a box by darkness.

God is saying that darkness is lifted and light has come, Because it's Mr Light and he has given us vision.

And this coming month we shall see the uncommon in a way unprecedented.

Hallelujah, glory to God.

And that is why Elisha prayed for his servant when they were surrounded by the Aramean army, the king of Aram, he wondered who is giving my secrets, kumbay?

Elisha was even knowing what's happening in the king's palace and so he wondered who is this Kumbay?

God can give revelation, kumbay, god can give insight.

We are living in a world.

Things are very complex, but God can give you insight, god can give you revelation, and that revelation and insight can actually lead you to very great spaces.

In 2 Kings, chapter 6, and from verse 8, what does it say Now?

The king of Aram was at war with Israel.

After conferring with his officers, he said I will set up my camp in such and such a place.

And the Bible goes on to say the man of God sent word to the king of Israel beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.

So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God Time and again.

Elisha warned the king so that he was on his guard in such places.

This enraged the king of Aram.

He summoned his officers and demanded of them tell me which of us is on the side of the king of Israel.

None of us, my lord.

The king said one of his officers, but Elisha, hallelujah the prophet.

May God give you revelation.

May God give you insight, like he did for Elisha.

It is possible.

Who is in Israel?

Tell the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.

Talk of intelligence, go find out where he is.

The king ordered so I can send men and capture him.

The report came back.

He is in Dothan.

Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there.

They went by night and surrounded the city.

When the servant of the man of God, he had limited vision.

I tell you the spectrum is from the seen to the unseen.

That that's what God wants to give us Now.

This servant has limited vision, he's just seeing with the physical eyes.

When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city.

Oh no, my Lord, what shall we do?

The servant asked Don't be afraid, I'm saying to somebody don't be afraid, hallelujah, the prophet is speaking.

Hallelujah, don't be afraid.

The prophet answered.

Let us read together the next lines those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

Let us make it first person.

Make it your own now.

Those who are with me are more than those who are with them.

Let's give a hand clap to the Lord.

Amen.

Why was he having fear?

Because he had a vision deficit, restricted vision, and it was not the full spectrum vision.

And Elijah prayed open his eyes, lord, so that he may see.

Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

May God open our eyes today to see what he has in store for us.

And I'm telling you what God has in his stores for me and you this year is just amazing.

May God just open our eyes to see what he has in store for us.

But I must move on to manifested through obedience, and I say that manifestation how you are reached to manifestation is obedience.

This impartation of uncommon vision is manifested through obedience.

Now, that's a process.

The first one was the source In verse 6,.

From verse 6, we just hear what happens there.

John, chapter 9, verse 6 to verse 11.

After saying this, jesus spat.

My version says this one is saying spit.

He spat on the ground, made some mud with the saliva and put it on the man's eyes.

Obedience makes vision a reality.

You can have a well-written vision Very well, and the Bible, of course, has a vision and mission God's mission and vision for me and for you and for the church.

You can have a very well-written vision, but if it is not coupled with obedience then it remains a vision, a wish list.

You know, just something nice feeling, and I know that oftentimes we become experts in forming boards in writing, articulating vision, the semantics around it and the commas and the full stops, and every other year we refresh them by rewriting and reworking and bringing it like new directions.

I want to say what God gave us was written 2,000 years plus and it has not changed.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Obedience is what brings that which is in you into reality.

What God has shown you becomes a reality when you obey, and that is why, when Abraham was shown the whole extent of the place, god had to say now walk around, go, go, because as you walk it becomes yours Vision.

You'll go as far as your vision, but as you begin to walk, then you begin to own and possess that which was cut out for you by God long time ago, and you begin to occupy the whole space that God gives you.

In Joshua 1.3,.

God tells Joshua everywhere you step, I've done what I've given to you.

And sometimes our feet limit us also.

Not just the vision, but also our feet, our seeing, but also our going, and these are a twin thing here.

So you start going this way, start going that way, start going the other way, and obedience then begins to make that uncommon vision a reality.

And very quickly people start looking and they say, hey, look, this thing is forming, this thing is becoming.

And they say, hey, look, this thing is forming, this thing is becoming.

We thought this guy was a nobody, would never become something, but suddenly his eyes have popped open because he obeyed, he listened to the king of kings, because vision comes from above and he listened to those words.

And those words are these ones here.

You know, psalm 119, 105 says your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

He listens very clearly and then he starts living according to that word and he goes to the pool called Siloam and there is mud on his face.

And let me say, sometimes you look down on God's strategy.

Isaiah 55, verse 18, says God's ways are not our ways, neither are his thoughts, our thoughts.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so are his ways above our ways and his thoughts above our thoughts.

And sometimes the way God works is different from the way we think.

So he has mud.

Maybe he's meeting people.

They're wondering what is the problem.

But this guy must get to Siloam and nobody's going to stop him Because he knows the manifestation and the reality of this vision shall be accomplished when he gets to the pool called Siloam, meaning sent.

And when he gets there and he does what Jesus told him, the full instruction you know in the Great Commission it says obeying everything I have commanded you, the full instruction he knows, once I do it and that is now the faith factor.

Also, I know my sight will come.

And so eventually he goes.

He gets there and washes his eyes and lo and behold, lo and behold, a guy who never saw suddenly darkness is chased away, his eyes pop open and I want you to imagine with me for a moment what he went through, just if you close your eyes and then you open, just like this.

Just imagine with me what he went through when, for the first time in his life, he's looking this way and the other way.

Everywhere he's seeing people and he's seeing things that he had never seen before.

Once again, I say what no eye has seen, nor your heart, nor the heart of man conceived.

No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived.

God has prepared for those who love him and is done it by his spirit.

May we pray that God opens our vision spectrum beyond just the little we are seeing, and we say God, open my eyes today in a new way and in a new version, because there's so much more.

There's so much more, there's so much more.

There's so much more to see the young people of Africa.

There is so much more.

There is so much more.

There is so much more to see.

God has given vision.

Obedience will make it a reality and therefore, what God has shown you, get down to doing it and do not delay.

You know, the church in Europe was started because Paul had a vision.

He saw a vision of a man from Macedonia and because he obeyed Acts, chapter 16, you know from verse 6,.

Because he obeyed Europe, the gospel entered Europe for the first time.

This is what it says.

Paul and his companions traveled through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.

When they came to the border of Myasia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

So they passed by Maesha and went down to Traos.

During the night, paul had a vision and a man from Macedonia standing and begging him come over to Macedonia and help us.

After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once there was no delay to leave for Macedonia and help us.

After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once there was no delay to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

From Traos, we put on our to sea and sailed straight for some difficult names there, and the next day we went on to Neapolis.

From there we traveled to Neapolis.

From there we traveled to Philippi this is obedience at work A Roman colony and the leading city of that district of Macedonia, and we stayed there several days.

On the Sabbath, we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer.

We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.

God will sort things out when you obey.

You may not know the destination well, but God has gone to that destination already.

All he's looking for is obedience.

The contingencies will be sorted out by God himself.

So when?

Let me begin to speak to the women.

Go back, go back a bit, just a bit.

Yeah, begin to speak to the women who had gathered there when she and the members of her household have you jumped something?

Or probably that version doesn't.

Oh, it's there.

The Lord opened her heart.

It is Lydia, one of those listening to a woman.

Okay, verse 13, then.

One of those listening was a woman from the city of Theatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth.

She was a worshiper of God.

The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.

When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home.

If you consider me a believer in the Lord, she said come and stay at my house and she persuaded us.

Now, this is a businesswoman, dealer in purple.

It was material for royalty and for special occasions, and she's a wealthy woman.

The Lord touches her heart, she turns around, she opens.

Her house Must be a big house.

She opened that house and she allowed the servants of God to operate, to make their headquarters that particular house.

That house was a place where the church at Philippi was planted, and the church at Philippi and we read the book Paul's letter to the Philippians it is there in the Bible was opened in the home of a lady called Lydia.

She offered her home.

This was how God worked, as Paul obeyed the vision that he had actually seen, and the church at Philippi was birthed and developed from that homestead and that was the first church in Europe, the whole of Europe.

Gospel penetration in Europe.

The entry was through the house of Lydia and that is where they met and something big started happening.

I tell you, obedience is what makes the vision a reality.

I know Paul had a vision and his vision was that the gospel is not just for the Jews alone, but also to the Greeks.

Paul had a global vision and he was breaking boundaries, but probably he didn't have a script on how it was going to be done.

But you see, god heard it and as he began to obey, just as you are.

Don't wait for more money, don't wait for more studies like theology.

Don't wait for a you know a setting, a nice setting for things to happen, you know.

Don't wait any longer.

God has said go.

Obedience is what actualizes the vision and you don't owe it to any person.

The vision has come directly, not by proxy.

The vision has come from above.

The vision is for everyone, implementation is for everyone and obedience, therefore, is what you offer God.

And God is looking for nothing less than obedience.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Sometimes we bring sacrifices, but God is looking for obedience.

Young people of Africa, don't wait any longer.

God has spoken to your heart.

Don't let anyone despise your youth.

This is your time, this is your season, this is your day.

In the first service, I prayed for a young man called Tony, and I've mentored him.

I've seen him come up.

He went to Jomo Kenyatta University, the College of Engineering, and did a five-year program there, engineering, and he graduated first-class honors.

So he was here with me.

I call him.

Now a door has opened for him to go to South Africa and he's got the Mandela Foundation scholarship.

Hallelujah, this young man from this church.

Yes, he's a very young man and he's going to do a two-year master's program in mechanical engineering, fully paid for.

God will sort it up.

God will sort it up.

God will sort it up.

Don't be afraid.

Timothy had fear.

2 Timothy, chapter 1, and verse 6.

And it is a verse that we are looking at this year 2 Timothy, chapter 1 and verse 6.

For this reason, I remind the young people to fan into flame the gift of God.

Young people, you are very, very gifted, very, very gifted.

Now what is needed?

Don't be afraid anymore.

Fan that gift into flame.

You know it's a gift of God.

It's come from God, not by proxy, and this gift which is in you has come through the laying on of God.

It's come from God, not by proxy, and this gift which is in you has come through the laying on of hands.

And I remember for Tony, he knelt down here in the first service I laid hands.

Yesterday we had the anointing service, which was very wonderful, wonderful and powerful.

I thank God for Pastor Ambrose and leading us.

Pastor Ambrose, thank you very much for leading us through the anointing service.

Let's give a hand to the Lord.

I appreciate it.

God bless you, and you know there was an impartation, so January vision, vision imparted At the end of January.

We have anointing and there is an anointing impartation connecting with a vision.

And now, as we get into February, march, april, like that, we are commissioned.

Everyone now is commissioned.

Acts 1.8 says you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, judea, samaria and to the other most parts of the world.

And so, my brother and my sister, february, god is coming through.

I want to repeat again February, god is coming through.

Cooperate with him, don't be afraid.

You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind.

And fear can limit your inheritance.

When God has said I'm giving you five nations, in fact I'll give you a regional job and you shall be hallelujah, is somebody connecting?

I'm saying there are jobs that will come, people will be brought in by God, and even the people, he is coming, hallelujah, and he will bring you.

You know there is a word we use, the last anointing.

Remind me of the last anointing Upgrade, upgrade.

And I asked my sister in Tanzania what is upgrade?
