April Week 2 Theme Vision: Uncommon Easter Wisdom: Sacrifice, Humility, and Eternal Hope

Hi Paki family.

Easter is around the corner.

What a joy we are in the month of impartation of uncommon wisdom.

As I think about Easter, I think about the wisdom of God and the commonless scripture of John 3, 16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

This is a time to reflect on the wisdom of God for giving us Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and when I think of this, we are talking about uncommon wisdom.

I have three points to share about this wisdom that can cause us to reflect about the work of Jesus on the cross.

The first point is sacrifice and love.

This is the wisdom of sacrifice and love.

Sometimes, when we think about Jesus on the cross, we do not even remember the sacrifice he did for us and the way he loved us so much.

John, chapter 15, verse 13,.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this that someone laid down his life for his friends.

God sacrificed for us his only begotten son so that we can receive that love.

We are not supposed to feel awe for Jesus on the cross when we think of how he was beaten, when we think of how he was really ridiculed on the cross.

But we are supposed to think about that sacrifice, about that love, so that we can receive him in our heart and so that he can make us the righteousness of God.

But if we just do not take that sacrifice and that love for ourselves and also give it to others, then we have not even acknowledged this wisdom, this uncommon wisdom.

I pray that we'll be able to acknowledge that sacrifice and the love of Jesus.

And secondly, the uncommon wisdom of humility and obedience.

Of humility and obedience, philippians, chapter 2, verse 8.

Philippians 2:8

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient, to the point of death on the cross.

You can imagine if Jesus did not humble himself, if Jesus did not obey God so that he could go, he could accept to go to the cross and die for you and me, what would have happened of us?

I pray that we acknowledge what Jesus did on the cross, just by being humble on the cross, just by being humble, by being obedient.

So we can also do the same.

We can accept this humility and we can accept his obedience by allowing him to be Jesus and Lord of our lives and also being able to serve others in humility and obedience, because that is what uncommon wisdom calls us for.

And finally, we are talking about hope and resurrection.

When we think again about Jesus and the work of the cross, we think about hope and resurrection.

Sometimes we dwell so much on what has happened here.

John, chapter 11, verse 25 to 26, says Jesus saying to her I am the resurrection and the life.

John 11:25–26

Whoever believes in me, though he die yet, he shall live, and everyone who lives and believes in him shall never die.

What a joy.

Do you believe?

Yes, I do believe, for myself.

I do not know my sister, my brother, if you believe.

I do not know whether you know the importance of having hope and resurrection, because when Jesus died on the cross and he was buried, and we are hopeful that the same thing will happen to us, that we will have this hope in resurrection, that we are trusting in God for resurrection that is here, so beloved of the Lord.

Just know that for you to have that wisdom, you must be able to accept that sacrifice and love that Jesus did on the cross.

You must be able to accept the humility and obedience that he did for us on the cross and the hope and the resurrection.

We should not dwell on the challenges and the successes of this life Without realizing that our life and our hope Is hidden in Jesus Christ.
