1 Corinthians 2:11

For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them?

In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.

The person without the spirit does not accept the things that come from the spirit of God, but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the spirit.

The person with the spirit makes judgment about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments.

Amen, amen.

I invite us to take our seats.

Take my silver and my every power, as thou shalt choose.

The next answer says Take my will and make it thine.

It shall no longer be mine.

Take my heart, it is thine.

Own it shall be thy royal throne.

It shall be thy royal throne.

This is our prayer, this is our desire that this afternoon, as we sit in your presence, lord, take our will, take our silver.

Take our will, take our silver, take our intellect, take everything that will inform or form our minds, so that, lord, today we can connect with the mind of Christ.

We pray that, as your word comes through Father, may you speak to me.

It's my desire that you will speak to me and speak to each one of us.

I pray, lead me in your Holy Spirit.

That, lord, wherever you are working today, I will join you there as you minister to your people.

In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.

Impartation of uncommon mind shift, spirit-led discernment, and this is our theme for this month.

And in this theme today, I would love to share with us, briefly on the subject, pursuing God's thoughts.

Pursuing God's thoughts, pursuing God's thoughts.

The city of Corinth, to which Paul is writing to the people there, the Corinthians, was one cosmopolitan hub, one characterized by commercial success, or commercially successful, one that we can say was intellectually sophisticated and one that we can also say was spiritually confused, because this is a city that drew people from diverse cultures, because it was a commercial hub.

It was a commercial city.

It drew people from different backgrounds, different systems of thinking, different beliefs, but it is also a city that was known for its immorality and idolatry and, combining this in terms of worship, there was a goddess known as Aphrodite, who was the goddess of sensual love, immorality.

It is in this very complex, then, kind of a setting that the man Paul shows up to a city that is complicated in this manner, a city where people are engaging in all manner of trade and in the worship of idols, a city that did not know God.

This is where Paul then shows up with a radical call.

And he shows up not just with a call to say you can actually change your behaviors.

He comes with a radical call that says you actually need a new mind.

He comes with a radical call that says you actually need a complete mind shift.

Paul is introducing wisdom that is not derived from natural mind, it is not derived from professionalism, it is not derived from intellect or philosophy, it is not derived from experience.

It is not derived from cultural beliefs, but one that, we must say, is spirit-led, and it is discerned through the Spirit of God.

It requires a willingness for one to abandon the natural mind in order for that person to be able to connect to the wisdom that Paul is introducing.

Paul is showing up among a people who are talking about business.

They are very good when it comes to trade.

They are talking about innovation.

They are talking about different ways of doing business.

They are talking about lands and territories to conquer business-wise.

They are talking about navigation, because it was a coastal city, and they are talking about, you know, whatever people are bringing together and adding value.

They are also talking about you know, philosophies and other things that they are learning.

They are talking about the stars and the moon and they are exchanging wisdom.

You know, when you walk among lawyers and you are not a lawyer, first of all, they are called learned friends.

They greet one another constitutionally, in a legal way, and the jargon that they use if you don't have a legal mind, you will get lost, and yet they are enjoying themselves as they challenge one another at that level.

If you walk around with engineers and they are speaking that engineer mind.

And you know, sometimes our senior pastor gets into that line of engineering and he's talking about force and mass and you remember those things, those things that were not making sense.

Matter anything that has weight and occupies space Was that matter.

It was called that.

Matter was anything that occupies space and has.

That is where Paul learns, and then he starts talking.

That is where Paul lands.

And then he starts talking about a man who was born in Jerusalem, born to a virgin, and these guys are wondering what are you talking about?

He's saying he was nailed to the cross, he died on a cross.

And if you believe in that, what are you talking about?

In fact, at some place they called him a babbler.

They were saying what are you talking about?

In fact, at some place they called him a bubbler.

They were saying what is this bubbler saying?

We are talking about the stars.

We are talking about cosmos.

We are talking about medicine.

We are talking about business.

We are talking about technological breakthroughs.

We are talking about AI.

You know, pastors are afraid of AI.

Ai is not a demon.

It has been there for some time, for a long time, and I encourage those of us who are believers, and especially for us pastors I think, pastor Simon being our team leader, especially the pastoral team we need a training on AI.

Yes, so if we can get a course, so that we don't see AI as a demon to cast but as a tool to use for the glory of the kingdom of God.

But Paul shows up in that conversation and so that also when we meet these congregants because many of them are using AI we are not lost, we can also be part of the conva.

Paul shows up, that is the environment.

Paul is showing up.

But then, when he shows up, he is coming with an uncommon way of thinking, a foreign way of thinking that is not known, and that is what he is introducing.

And it is in that context that, brothers and sisters, from this passage, I want us to draw three uncommon mind shift principles that can enable us to pursue God's thoughts and delving right into it.

The first one is for us to pursue God's thoughts, we must abandon our natural mind.

When I was thinking about this particular principle at first, I had written we must abandon our minds, but I thought oh, my mind told me, how do you abandon your mind?

But I think that the correct place we must abandon our minds If we are going to pursue the thoughts of God.

Our minds do not have the capacity, because the Bible says as high as the heavens are from the earth, so are my thoughts different from your thoughts and my ways different from your ways?

Even AI doesn't have the capacity to handle the mind and the thoughts of God, because actually AI is, it is a combination of our collective thinking.

We are the ones who have fed it with the information that it has and, of course, with time, it keeps mutating and also developing its own.

I think it's a little sophisticated.

It's not very sophisticated, all right, all right.

But even with that it is able to control the minds of man, but it cannot discern the thoughts of God.

The thoughts of God require something else and therefore, verse 11, the Bible says for who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them?

In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

And then verse 14 tells us the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God.

Paul, when he's writing to the Corinthians because he's writing later, after he had visited them, in chapter 2, verse 1, he tells them.

And so it was with me.

Brothers and sisters, when I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom, as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.

Then, verse 2, he says for I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus and him crucified.

He says I came to you in weakness, with great fear.

But another version says that, for I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Christ.

I did not come with human wisdom, a wisdom that depends on the natural mind.

Paul is saying I deliberately chose to abandon my mind, my natural mind, my mind that is informed by my culture, but instead I came to you with the mind and the wisdom of God, because then that way I am able to connect to the thoughts of God.

He chose instead to rely on the Spirit's revelation.

Why?

Because the natural mind, no matter how educated or informed or eloquent it, is incapable of accessing or understanding divine truth.

Now I want you to understand that we need to be intellectuals, we need to go to the highest level we can in our fields, but I want us to understand that even with that, we are unable to pursue the thoughts of God, because even that it is limited.

And now, when Paul came, this way he says I came and I was speaking about the cross.

I chose to focus on the cross.

I chose to focus on the cross and say that on the cross of Jesus Christ, a man dying on the cross, he was revealing God's love and grace for us.

Then he tells us the natural mind of the Jews.

For them this was a stumbling block, and for the Greeks, he tells us this was foolishness.

I have come with the message of the cross and this kind of thinking is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Greeks.

Why is it a stumbling block to the Jews?

Because they have applied their natural mind.

They are supposed to be knowing better, because they had the benefit of the prophets, they had the benefit of the law, they had the benefit of the word that God had given them, but they engaged at the natural mind, and so even their hour of visitation.

The Bible says that they were unable to discern their hour of visitation.

That is what Jesus says the natural mind.

How about for the Greeks?

Of course the Greeks, or the Gentiles.

They engaged in the philosophies of this world and therefore the message of the cross will not make sense to them.

Brothers and sisters, I want us to think of the mind as a network, the mind as a network, the mind as a server where we draw our thoughts.

Your mind as a server, your mind as a network.

It is the source of your thoughts, source of your thoughts.

Your mind has been built over time by different factors, including your culture.

And you hear people say in our culture we don't do things that way.

Where I come from, we don't speak like that.

Where I come from, we don't think like that.

And so I want us to think of the mind, which is the source of your thoughts, as a network.

And when we are talking about network, you know, you understand the language of network.

Sometimes there are networks that are poor.

No, poor network, I'm having no signal.

There is a friend of mine, we shared a class, and you know, from one of the African countries, but let me not mention the country.

But this brother, even sending a message on the chat was very difficult and you know, I kept wondering Kwanye their network is like, how Kwanye their network is, how you cannot even send a message.

And you can have that difficulty because you have poor network.

When you think of your mind as a network and God's mind as an alternative network, let us make a comparison.

So your mind on one hand, god's mind on the other hand.

Your mind at best will always have poor network.

At its best it will be poor network.

What do we expect from a poor network?

We expect poor and weak thoughts, but God's mind will always be a strong network.

What do we expect from a strong network?

We expect clarity, we expect accuracy.

The thoughts of God are clear, they are accurate, they are dependable, because his network is a strong network.

Our minds, at best, they will always have a fluctuating network.

The network is fluctuating and that is why when you are attending an online meeting, you keep disappearing and reappearing, lefting and coming back.

That is the strength of your network.

It is a fluctuating network.

And there are Christians who are experiencing fluctuating networks in their lives.

On Sunday they are born again, they are praising the Lord, but then on Monday the network starts going down.

By Sunday it needs recharge.

No wonder we come to the house of the Lord.

But there is a spirit.

The spirit of God is able to enable you have a strong network on Sunday and a strong network on Monday, and a strong network on Tuesday and on Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday, and you still come back to the house of the Lord, connected.

Why?

Because the network of God is steady.

It is consistent.

Therefore, what do we expect when the network is steady?

We expect that God's thoughts are consistent.

That is why God is able to say even though you are faithless, I remain faithful.

That is why the Bible tells us that God has demonstrated his love to us, that while we were still sinners, his network of love was still steady.

That network reached us.

You know some of us when people have wronged us, our network reached us.

You know some of us when people have wronged us, our network goes down.

I will not be surprised if part of the seven names that you have in your list, it is some people who have wronged you and you are telling God.

Oh God, do something about them.

No, I want you to change that and say God, do something about me so that my network can go up and.

I can forgive them.

Then you struck them out of that list.

But A network that fluctuates.

But also, when you look at our network, it is a mind.

It is a network that is unreliable.

You know those networks that are unreliable and we don't want to mention names because we are not promoting any network, but you know there are networks that are very unreliable.

You don't know whether it will happen or not.

You are getting my point.

And sometimes they disappear when it matters most, when you are just ready for that interview.

When you are ready for that interview, you see yourself frozen and guys are on the other hand.

You know they had told you get a reliable network.

Now where are you looking for a reliable network?

So you are still talking, but you are facing yourself like this, you are not moving.

And the other side, they are saying you have already, brother, get a reliable network.

God's network is reliable.

Now, what happens with unreliable network?

It causes anxiety.

You have anxious thoughts.

But God's network, god's mind, as a network is eternally trustworthy.

It is reliable.

Anytime you plug into God's thoughts, you are connected to heaven and you are downloading from heavenly thoughts.

The natural mind is spiritually blind.

It is self-centered, it is limited in vision.

It is also resistant to God and it is a temporal, but God's thoughts require that we abandon that mind.

Human thoughts can inform, but only God's thoughts can transform.

Human thoughts can speculate, but only God's thoughts can be precise.

Human thoughts can argue, but only God's thoughts settle a matter.

That we may have different opinions, but if God says you are loved, you are loved.

If God says you are forgiven, you are forgiven.

There is a blind man whom Jesus heals, and then people start arguing.

They are even wondering were you born blind?

This man had been there blind for how many years, by the way, anybody who remembers he had been blind for how many years?

Okay, there was another one we know who was an invalid for 38 years.

You don't know how old he was for 38 years.

But this other one was also a grown man.

They say he was a grown man.

So give him a grown man's age.

He was 40 and above.

Now, for 40 years these guys had seen him blind.

But when he is healed they ask him were you really blind these 40 years?

You are really blind Because the natural mind is unable to comprehend.

The man gets to a place and he says all I know, among all these arguments, among all these philosophies, there is one thing that I am sure I was blind but now I can see, and it is this man called Jesus.

That is what the mind of God does.

When we abandon.

We are able to say I.

I may not explain it, but one thing I know I was this way, but now I am this way.

It is when we abandon the natural mind.

But, secondly, it is when we connect to the mind of Christ.

For us to pursue God's thoughts, we must connect to the mind of Christ.

For us to pursue God's thoughts, we must connect to the mind of Christ.

The Bible says in verse 16, but we have the mind of Christ.

It says who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him.

And then Paul says but we have the mind of Christ.

The mind of Christ connects us to God's thoughts.

The pursuit of God's thoughts is not just about abandoning our minds.

It is about aligning ourselves to the mind of Christ.

It is a mind shift that moves us from dependency on that network that we have said is poor, is unreliable, to moving to one network that is reliable, that is strong, and that network is the mind of Christ, the believer is invited into an intimacy with the mind of Christ.

This mind is not natural.

This mind doesn't deploy natural thinking.

It is a mind that has been renewed.

It is a mind that is redeemed.

It is a mind that is able to perceive life From a different perspective.

You know, one of the questions you need to ask yourself Is what are you bringing to the table?

What are you bringing to the table and I want to encourage us Brothers and sisters One of the things that we can bring To the table and I want to encourage us brothers and sisters one of the things that we can bring to the table of life that the world does not have is the mind of Christ.

That, whether you are a doctor, whether you are an engineer, whether you are a businessman, whether you are a judge, whether you are a politician, whatever you are, be the best at it.

But I want you to take it a notch higher by invoking the mind of Christ.

That is the difference you bring to the boardroom, because everybody in that boardroom table has a first degree.

Everybody in that boardroom table has over 20 years of experience.

Everybody on that boardroom table maybe even has a doctorate degree, and all of you are peers.

You're actually peers when you segment all those things.

The question is, as a believer, what do you bring different to the table?

You are saying I am bringing the mind of Christ.

That is the mind that was in Joseph Though he was in prison.

He had the mind of Christ.

The Bible says that wherever Joseph was, god was with him and therefore, when he stood before the king, and when all the philosophers of the land, when all the magicians of the land, when all the theorists of the land, they could not interpret the dream of the land, when all the magicians of the land, when all the theorists of the land, they could not interpret the dream of the king, this man, who was both learned, eloquent, but with an extra thing in him, the mind of Christ, was able to interpret the king's dream.

Not only did he interpret the king's dream, but he drew for him, within five minutes, a strategic plan that would move the country through a season of abundance and into a season of luck and bring the entire world around to come and plug into this economy and save the entire world, because what he brought at the table was the mind of Christ.

That's how he drew that strategic plan.

And you see, when you do that, then the next question is who else?

That is the next question who else I am listening to that strategic plan?

Who else I am listening to that strategic plan?

Who else I am listening to that pitching?

When you pitch, who else, who else?

But you?

And Joseph was appointed the prime minister.

There was nobody else who could, because that strategic plan needed that level of thinking to be finalized to the end.

You know, sometimes we do strategic plans and we don't even get a quarter of them when, and they're very good, very good.

What are we lacking?

A drive of the mind of Christ.

I'll give you another example Daniel, you remember Daniel, and the king has appointed all these setraps.

It is like appointing a cabinet.

He has this cabinet because he had appointed three of them like prime cabinets and then there were these 120 setraps that he had.

And every time the king sat at the cabinet with these 123 people, there was always something about Daniel.

At the cabinet with this 123 people, there was always something about Daniel.

And I would imagine with time the king would listen to the senior advisors, he would listen to all these other men and then finally he would say Daniel.

And as the king is reflecting about what Daniel has said and the way Daniel is conducting his affairs, every time he is alone and he's reflecting in his mind.

He's thinking how can I ensure that my kingdom prospers and I don't make losses?

I think Daniel is the man and I would imagine probably Daniel was not the closest to the king.

So how did the rest know that the king was planning to make him in charge of the entire kingdom?

It tells me Daniel was not necessarily the one closest to the king.

And those close to the king, the king will keep saying hey, did you hear what Daniel said?

Did you hear his point?

Have you captured Daniel's point?

And you know those are the points you make in a boardroom and the secretary is told quickly, record that one, that one, but this one record.

What is the difference?

The mind of Christ when the mind of Christ, when the mind of Christ is at work.

There is a difference.

It will be noted, the difference will be there.

How are we going, then, to acquire this mind of Christ?

Brothers and sisters, I suggest that we must walk closely with Jesus.

We must come closer to him every day.

Jesus is saying follow me and I will make you.

Many times we start with Jesus, but as we continue growing from one level to another, we start working with him at arm's length.

Many times we start with him very closely when you come here and we marry you as new couples oh, you are with Jesus.

But the moment you start hitting the road of marriage, you start having Jesus at arm's length.

Many times you invite us to the marketplace and for sure we come and anoint your businesses.

We come and launch that opportunity that God has given you.

You start with Jesus, but the problem is that with time, you start drifting and you start moving away from him.

The farther you get away from Jesus, the poorer your connectivity to his mind becomes, to his mind becomes, and I want to propose that the higher you go, probably the more time you need to invest in being closer to Jesus, because this Jesus, his mind, helps us to think differently.

How can we then acquire this mind?

It is by abiding with him.

The Bible says abide with me and I in you, says Jesus In John chapter 15.

When you come to Christ, you are given access to that supernatural perspective.

That is his mind.

Paul says.

I sought to know nothing but Jesus.

You know, I was just thinking about my sister here.

How do you sit down and donate to a church 80,000 whistles?

80,000 whistles, I need five, mine, for my wife and our three children.

Now, brothers and sisters, let us do a quick math.

Let us assume every whistle was one shilling.

I know you could be asking what is a whistle?

What is it?

It's something very small.

But let's become economical.

If every whistle is there a whistle for one shilling, let's give it a market value of one shilling.

I have never bought a whistle.

If every whistle was one shilling, it means our sister has spent 80,000 Kenya shillings to get us whistles.

Okay, because you are saying, okay, let's discount it.

You don't know business terms.

When you buy in bulk, you get the benefit of what.

What is it?

See, also, there is a terminology.

There is a terminology Something has scales, economy of scales.

We don't have people in that area.

You enjoy the economics of.

So let's say she enjoyed the economics of scale.

So we give it 50 cent Per Per whistle.

It is still a hoping 40,000 Kenya shillings.

One individual Do you want us to reduce it to where?

To get it here right?

And I believe it is, a whistle is more than a shilling.

Brothers, if one person with a mind that I believe it is not a natural mind mind because I had never thought of bringing 80,000 whistles to church and of course I'll tell you I was blessed by that ministry of that team, they really blessed me If that person has been impacted by Revival Week and she's able to put her 80,000 shillings to give us whistles so that we can celebrate the King of Kings and somebody else can be touched in his life and even 3,000 souls come to Christ.

What we require is the mind of Christ and things will change.

I am under the mind of Christ.

I want to give a proposal because I'm under the mind of Christ.

The dome we have been told the dome is 3.6.

Nobody has sent me.

I was just really battling with 80,000 whistles.

It is mind-blowing.

Do you know that we are going to use them for around eight revival weeks, revival seasons, every season, giving 10,000 of them to the church For the next eight years.

We have a supply of whistles to praise the Lord every year.

Now, if you give, you don't return.

If you give, you go with it, you don't return, right?

Or, pastor Riggs, you start telling us 80,000, I won't return.

There was a time Pastor Editha gave us another good thing.

I didn't return it Because I served, but I told her I didn't return.

It was a beautiful one.

I still bake in it in my home.

Brothers and sisters, we are talking about a budget of 3.6 million.

We are about 3,000 of us here.

If each one of us, by this evening, sends 1,000 shillings to that pay bill, if each one of us, under the anointing of the mind of Christ, sends 1,000 shillings, where is that pay bill?

1,000 shillings, where is that pay bill?

Iwekehap, 1,000 shillings, by this evening we shall have raised 3.6 million.

No partner, no, nothing, because partners don't give 1,000.

When now the partners start giving us a million and 2 million and 3 million and 5 million, when million and five million, when partners come, they will find us with our 3.6 million and they will find us with an endowment fund that we can start funding our revival weeks every year without touching our normal budget.

Let me see how many believe that is the mind of Christ.

I believe it is the mind of Christ.

So, senior pastor, if these people just obey that and I will finish, I will finish here.

But if they just speak that alone and say by evening, today, because if you add those of us who are watching online, we are now close to 8,000.

If each one of you just sends 1,000, we don't want more than that 1,000, you know, before the end of this week we can have, we can raise the 15 million that is required for revival.

And then the men and women entrusted with that budget should also walk under the mind of Christ so that they utilize that budget to multiply for the kingdom of God.

That's why we are called stewards.

But so that you can move with that point, let me tell you how that point is activated.

That point is activated by the third one, that not only do we need to abandon our natural minds, not only do we need to connect to the mind of Christ, but we also need to be spirit-filled, spirit-led in our thinking.

Be spirit-led in your thinking.

Verse 12 tells us this, and I'm closing my Bible so that you know I'm finishing.

Verse 12 tells us this what we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

And verse 13 tells us the spirit teaches, the Spirit explains the spiritual realities, not using human language but using Spirit-taught words.

When we depend on the Spirit of God, the Spirit of God then picks the thoughts of God through Jesus Christ, and then he deposits them into our hearts and he brings them not through words of human thinking and intellect but through spirit-taught words.

Spirit-taught words come with power.

Spirit-taught words come with power.

Spirit taught words come with conviction, brothers and sisters, because the word of God is spirit breathed.

That is why it has the power to convert a sinner into a believer.

My book, if I write my book and put my thoughts only, at best it can motivate, at best it can entertain, at best it can inform.

But when I write a book under the unction of the Holy Spirit and I bring in the mind of Christ in that book by bringing the word of God to bear on it, then it becomes an evangelistic tool.

And that's why the tool that the senior pastor is putting in our hands is a tool that is going to transform, because it is a tool that has been birthed out of a spirit-led mind.

You know, I was sharing with some friends and I was telling them if there is a region geographically where the spirit of God is in plenty I'm just using human words where the spirit of God is in plenty, I think it is Africa.

I think Africa, the spirit of God, every corner, and in Africa, the spirit of God, every corner.

And in fact, you know, christianity has shifted to the global south.

Now, before we talk about what Christianity is doing in the global south, let's think about what Christianity did in the global north.

The technology that you see, the advancement that you see in the global north.

Go and read your history.

It was driven by Christians, many Christians.

When we talk about, for example, the abolishment of slavery, it was some Christian members of parliament, some politicians, led by who Wilberforce, and they agitated and they came to the table, they argued, they were using standing orders, they were not using the Bible, they were using standing orders, they were using the law.

They were driven by Christ speaking the language of parliament and one time slavery was abolished.

And we can talk about many other Christians.

So when we talk about the global north.

We are talking about the impact of Christianity in business.

We are talking about look at America.

One of the things they talk about is their constitution and their founding fathers.

They talk about liberties and all that.

It is what the word of God says when the son of man gives you freedom, you are free and free.

Indeed, their advancement is because of Christianity and one of the questions we need to ask ourselves in Africa.

No-transcript, and I was telling these friends, you know, sometimes we have reduced the Holy Spirit to tongues, only that all that the Holy Spirit can do is tongues.

All the Holy Spirit can do is people somersaulting and rolling down and poving, and then we say, oh, we were visited by the Spirit.

Brothers and sisters, I am here to declare the Spirit of God knows economics.

The Spirit of God knows wealth creation.

The Spirit of God knows matters climate change.

The spirit of God knows matters infrastructure.

The spirit of God knows matters politics.

The spirit of God knows matters business.

The spirit of God knows matters governance.

We need to go deep and be the change that the world is expecting.

You can do it as a lawyer.

You can do it as a lawyer.

You can do it as a business person, you can do it as an economist, you can do it as a politician.

Others did it.

It is our time, as Africa, to do it.

Let me declare that the solutions of Africa are found in Africa.

The solutions of Africa do not require aid that is attached to an agenda.

It requires men and women connected to the Spirit of God.

It does not require politics that come with an agenda.

It requires men and women with the mind of Christ who allow themselves to be spirit-led.

They bring solutions.

You won't tell us what our families should look like.

As Africa, we know what our families should look like.

You will not tell us what our men should look like.

As Africans, we know what men should look like.

You will not tell us what women should look like.

As Africans, we can know what women look like.

When we connect to the Spirit of God, we are going to download his thoughts through the mind of Christ and we are going to bring light to the world.

What we are lacking is that it is a church that is still led by a natural mind.

When the church captures these three, and my prayer, brothers and sisters, let us stand up, let us not walk into this revival with a natural mind.

Please stand to the person next to you and tell them, even if it is only for this revival season, it will be a waste of resources.

Just stand to someone, tell them, even if it is just for this revival season, let us connect to the mind of Christ.

That is what will make a difference.

We have limited you to our home fellowships, house groups.

We have not allowed you to manifest in the office, in the business, in the marketplace, in the.

Instead, we have gone with the natural mind.

That mind does not have power to transform, but the mind of Christ has.

We have even moved in our homes, bringing up our children, relating as husband and wife, and we have left you out.

Forgive us.

Today, we desire, even as we step into Revival Week, we desire more of you.

We desire a fresh start, we desire a fresh connection.

There are many things that we started with you and somewhere along the way, we have leaned on our own wisdom, and that is what Proverbs reminds us Lean, not on your own understanding, but in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your ways prosperous.

We have only acknowledged you in a few things.

As we get into this revival, we want to acknowledge you in all things.

We pray that out of this revival there will be men and women who are going to go back to their communities and bring about transformation.

We have lawyers here, we have accountants, we have doctors, we have managers, governors, we have everybody.

Lord, that person who has a caravan that we require so that we can go around and call people, like the Samaritan woman did.

She went back to the village and she called everyone.

She was running around.

Lord, we want to go around this city and say come and meet a man.

His name is Jesus, his name is Jesus.

Lord, the dome that we require so that when you bring these people that you have called, like the Samaritan woman, they will come and find a place where they can engage with you and their lives will never be the same again.

We want to be partakers of that blessing.

And it's very simple, lord.

With a thousand shillings each one of us by close of business today, we can raise that budget.

Help us to think like Christ.

When the disciples came back to Christ, they had come with food to them.

Food was a priority.

And then Jesus tells them I have food that you do not know about.

Father, make us, make the food of Christ our priority.

And he said that food is to do the will of God.

Make it our priority this week so that we can indeed do the will of God.

And with all this, may the Lord bless you.
