Happy new month, happy new September 2025.
-
The theme for the month is impartation of uncommon overflow, spirit-led abundance.
-
Anytime you hear the word abundance, I want you to visualize harvest.
-
I want you to visualize rain, the coming of the latter rain, the former rain and the latter rain.
-
I would like to read to us from the book of Joel, chapter two, verse 23 up to verse 25.
-
Be glad, ye, children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord, for he has given you the former rain faithfully, and he will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain.
-
In the first month, the threshing floors shall be full of wheat and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
-
So says the Lord.
-
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locusts have eaten, the crawling locusts, the consuming locusts and the chewing locusts, my great army, which I sent among you in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
I just want to point out some things in this scripture that are making my spirit rejoice and be glad.
-
The first one is an invitation to rejoice.
-
God is calling us, as a church, to rejoice through these words, which says be glad, be glad.
-
We have a reason to be glad.
-
God has carried us along faithfully from the first month of the year to this nine months of the year.
-
God has been faithful.
-
He has carried us, carried our families on eagle's wings, he has carried our church and he has shown us his faithfulness.
-
He's calling us to be glad.
-
He's inviting us to rejoice.
-
And why should we rejoice?
-
We need to rejoice because God is about to bless us, and I can only imagine women who are pregnant in this month.
-
They are in their ninth month and they are starting to look forward for a blessing.
-
They've already done their shopping.
-
They've bought clothes for the baby, they've bought everything they need, and now all they are waiting for is for the manifestation.
-
This is our month of manifestation.
-
God is going to bless us.
-
I also like how the Lord is calling us.
-
He's calling us children of Zion, meaning that we belong to him.
-
He's recognizing that we belong to the household of God, the household of faith.
-
The next thing from this scripture is there is a sound.
-
There is a sound of abundance.
-
This is the sound of abundance of rain, and God is telling us that he's going to send us not just ordinary rain.
-
He's going to send us the former rains.
-
He's going to send us the former rains.
-
He's going to send us the autumn rains, but he's also going to send us the latter rain.
-
These are the spring rains.
-
What this means is that there will be sufficient rain to water the crops so that harvest cannot fail.
-
I don't know what it is that you have planted.
-
I don't know what it is you are waiting for.
-
I don't know what it is that you have planted.
-
I don't know what it is you are waiting for.
-
I don't know.
-
But what I know is that I can hear the sound of abundance, I can hear the sound of rain, and I want to promise you that there is going to be a rich harvest.
-
Everything we are doing in this season, the seed we are planting and I know that many of us are planting the seed of the word Many of us are serving diligently.
-
Many of us are focused, focused on the great harvest that God is going to give us, including a harvest of souls.
-
Let me tell you that there is going to be abundance, as the dim vision is saying spirit like abundance.
-
The other thing is that there's going to be a mighty harvest.
-
Anytime you hear about harvest, you think about the farm, you think about the fields.
-
You think about the livestock, you think about the chickens, you think about the cows.
-
You think about your business, you think about the marketplace, you think about income, you think about your investments.
-
This scripture is telling us that, as a result of the visitation of God, what God is going to do there is going to be an abundance of harvest.
-
The threshing floors will be full of grain.
-
No longer are we going to sell empty shelves.
-
No longer are we going to sell there is nothing.
-
We will no longer be saying hakuna.
-
When people come to us needing a service or needing anything, we will not be saying there is nothing to offer, because the scriptures here is telling us that there will be.
-
The threshing floors will be full of rain and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.
-
What this means is that there is going to be a divine visitation and this visitation is going to come with divine restoration.
-
Friends Parklands Baptist Church.
-
God is about to restore us.
-
God is about to visit us and restore us.
-
The word of God says that there's going to be a divine restoration.
-
God is promising to restore even what we have lost and to repair the years the locusts entered and the crops the locusts destroyed.
-
God is calling you out of your situation and he's telling you be glad.
-
It is our month of experiencing abundance in every area of our lives.
-
Shalom, shalom.
