Theme Vision_June Week 1:The Liberating Power Of The Anointing For Jubilee Freedom

Happy new month! Happy new month of June 2026! What an amazing season we are in! Every month we are unpacking the Jubilee story, and friends, I must say that I am really excited.

Allow me to give a shout out to the month to the theme of June.

Liberating power of anointing, enablement connected.

Liberating power of anointing, enablement connected.

It's gonna be really exciting to see how the theme of anointing, the topic of anointing, interacts with the theme of jubilee.

And the two scriptures that stand out for me is Isaiah 10 27, which says that, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Also, Isaiah 61, verse 1 and 2, which is echoed by the Lord Jesus in Luke 4.18.

Luke 4.18 says that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.

From these scriptures, we can see Jesus defining anointing as divine enablement, divine empowerment to liberate.

And I will very quickly look at the role of the anointing as far as Jubilee is concerned.

You see, the foundation of Jubilee, as we have been learning this year from the different preachings that have been going on in church, the foundation of Jubilee is Leviticus 25:10, which says that you shall consecrate the 50th year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants.

So we realize that Jubilee gives authorization, divinely authorized release.

So, what is the connection between anointing and jubilee?

Jubilee divinely authorizes release.

It speaks of freedom from bondage, restoration of inheritance, cancellation of debt, and return to rightful identity.

So we can take from these scriptures that the anointing enforces jubilee freedom.

This month, one of the things you will need in your personal life and even in our personal life corporately as a church is the anointing that enforces freedom.

Because when the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, that anointing is to proclaim liberty, it's uh an anointing for release.

We are saying that this is the acceptable year of the Lord, this is the acceptable month of the Lord.

So jubilee is not just a declaration, it's not just declared, but jubilee is enforced by the anointing.

I want to also add that the anointing breaks what jubilee cancels.

According to Isaiah 10 27, the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

As you move on through this month, I want to tell you that the anointing ensures that the yokes we are breaking in this season are destroyed permanently.

This month, enforce your liberation.

This month, declare what is that area that you need the anointing to break yoke.

And as you do your declaration and as you spend time engaging, I believe that Jubilee has given you the right to be free, and the anointing will give you the power to stay free.
