[SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians chapter 5 verses 7-3.

[SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7-3 says, therefore, hurts out the old yeast that you may be a new batch since you are unleavened for even Christ

[SPEAKER_00]: Our Passover has been sacrificed for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, let us cheat the feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not with old yeasts, nor with the yeasts of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

[SPEAKER_00]: God bless and honor the reading of His Word.

[SPEAKER_00]: You may be seated.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are 10 federal holidays.

[SPEAKER_00]: 10 federal holidays.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first, and I'll go through these.

[SPEAKER_00]: I went through a couple of years ago, but I'll go through it again.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first is New Years, which is coming up, but I'm not New Years.

[SPEAKER_00]: The second is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

[SPEAKER_00]: The third is, I'm going in order once the year begins.

[SPEAKER_00]: The third.

[SPEAKER_00]: is Washington's birthday, which doesn't think it's celebrate like it used to.

[SPEAKER_00]: The fourth is, I don't really consider it to holiday, but I'm gonna say it anyway.

[SPEAKER_00]: The fourth is, June, Tenth National Independence Day.

[SPEAKER_00]: I personally think we don't need one, but that's just my opinion.

[SPEAKER_00]: June, Tenth National Independence Day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Say, what day is that?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're celebrating the day that slavery was ended, and I can understand that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't wanna show a thing it should be called Independence Day, but that's because the fifth is Independence Day.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the day that America celebrates its independence.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then there is the sixth, which is Labor Day, which we know, we know that day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then you're like, you're like, well, you know, that's a whole night thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then we have the seventh, which is Columbus Day, Columbus Day, then we have eight, which is Veterans Day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Veterans Day, and then we have number nine Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, and then there's 10 Christmas Christmas.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we all know Christmas and appreciate that, but there are many, many other holidays that are not federal, many are not literally holidays, but celebrations.

[SPEAKER_00]: of joy and that's fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, all those days that we just went through, did you know that there's only one literal holiday of all those days, only one.

[SPEAKER_00]: and that is Christmas, so many days really holy, but with that there's another one that could kind of be celebrated as a religious holiday or holy day, that's what holiday means, holy day, and that in old English, well I'll go do it, the holiday came from the old English word, I'm gonna say my best, holiday, uh,

[SPEAKER_00]: But there is another one that can kind of sort of be considered a spiritual day.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that's Thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm talking about the federal holidays, okay?

[SPEAKER_00]: If Thanksgiving because it was meant to thank God, we'll talk more about that next week.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's meant to thank God to thank the Lord God for what we have.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, Pastor Smith to have a pair of brains.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's meant to eat turkey.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's meant to watch football.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's meant to look, look, look, look, I love all those things.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love watching Charlie Brown eat popcorn and jelly beans.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm talking about, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: I still watch it.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you know, I didn't wear it today, but I have a Charlie Brown watch.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love all those things, but here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though those things are all didn't fun,

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not why things giving it.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that next week.

[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta be here, though.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll talk about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, those days, those days, all those legal federal holidays, only one is truly a holy day.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, Easter, which is not a federal holiday, Easter is a wonderful, truly holy day.

[SPEAKER_00]: So of all the true holy days on to Christmas and Easter,

[SPEAKER_00]: Christmas in Easter through Holy Days.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the problem is, the true Holy Days for sure because they're about Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people don't use those days to celebrate Jesus, you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: So in some places like England, when they use the word holiday, they think of a patient.

[SPEAKER_00]: But in Israel, in the Bible, there are many, many, many celebrations.

[SPEAKER_00]: They have the Jewish faith and traditions, and that's what usually they become.

[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, holidays.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Bible says that these are holidays, the Holy Days, because they these vacations, these feasts are there for spiritual meaning.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so that is why today's title is Feasts Time, Feasts Time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now yes, I won't lie to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: The reason why I want to talk about feast time is because I wanted your stomach to get the waiting, waiting for the food to come about.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, I want you to start thinking about that food this back there, perky late and getting ready, so that your stomach gets a growling and talking to you but that's not the only time.

[SPEAKER_00]: The other reason is so that we could talk about the feast in the Bible.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do our best to go through them all because there are, believe it or not, there are nine feast, only seven of the Old Testament to the King.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, no, they were there.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the only seven that were given by God in the early times, it doesn't mean that the other ones aren't valid.

[SPEAKER_00]: They are, but we'll talk about them.

[SPEAKER_00]: The eighth one came at the late Old Testament.

[SPEAKER_00]: The ninth one came in between the Old and the New Testament.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want to do know this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus celebrated all nine of these feasts.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus celebrated all nine of these feasts.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want to make that very clear.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so let's go through the Jesus festivals.

[SPEAKER_00]: These feasts, seven holy purposes that God appointed.

[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, these were God appointed times.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's two additional celebrations that also mean things.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are four celebrations in the spring.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are three in the fall, and plus the two additional celebrations, one usually is in December, at least in our month, and another one is in March.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the spring feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about the spring feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first one is Hey Sock, and I want you to understand, I'm doing my very best.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't speak to you, it's too very well, he brewed.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I went through in my own way.

[SPEAKER_00]: and I listen to how they pronounce that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can't tell from down there, but I wrote it out in how it sounds.

[SPEAKER_00]: And in some ways I even had a change of ways written so that these eyes could understand what that's supposed to say.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, pay sock, pay sock is how it's pronounced.

[SPEAKER_00]: But what does pay sock mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: It means pass over.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it means.

[SPEAKER_00]: It means pass over.

[SPEAKER_00]: that's what pays off means.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the Passover, this is the foundational, the foundational thesis is the beginning of all the feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now this is not New Year's time, but let's say that if New Year's was the first celebration we had in the year, what's it is, this would be like that in the sense that this is the feast that starts off feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for good reason, the six feasts that follow are built upon this feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's found in Leviticus 23 verse 5 and I'm going to

Leviticus 23:5

[SPEAKER_00]: Leviticus 23 verse 5 says this, on the fourteenth day of the first month at evening in the Lord's Passover.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it is the first month of the year.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is the first month of the year, even though it's a different time of the year for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is...

[SPEAKER_00]: it is the first month of the year and is the Lord's Passover.

[SPEAKER_00]: But also, not only does the start that, it also starts the second feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: The second feast of 11 bread starts when this one starts.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they start together and we'll get into that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the best word to use to describe this Passover, or excuse me, pays off our Passover, the best word to describe what took place in

[SPEAKER_00]: These people needed to be redemption.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had been slaves for so very long.

[SPEAKER_00]: For years upon you, over 200 years they had been slaves, for so very, very long.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Israel was redeemed so that they could worship and serve the true living God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, all those false gods, you have to understand.

[SPEAKER_00]: These people have been living in a sinful place and have them sinned come upon them, just like you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just like you, some people say, well, the Jewish State don't have to, yes, they do.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're just like you, sin, sin, sin.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so God decided to use some examples of that.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: This redemption is not without cost.

[SPEAKER_00]: Blood had to be shed.

[SPEAKER_00]: Blood had to be shed.

[SPEAKER_00]: You see the symbol that's coming up here?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I thank you, dude.

[SPEAKER_00]: Blood had to be shed to show the cost they had to have them.

[SPEAKER_00]: all the lambs sacrificed in Egypt pointed to the one true Lamb of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I think you see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: You see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: You see, somebody will say, well, that's just all Jewish stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, haha.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just Hebrew faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's pointing to the faith that is Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what's so beautiful about these feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: It makes me excited.

[SPEAKER_00]: Can't you tell?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I think you can.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting all pumped up.

[SPEAKER_00]: It points towards Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: Look, the Lamb, oh, I'm going to read this to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: It takes, let me say it again, all the Lamb's sacrifice.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of Lamb's who are sacrificed.

[SPEAKER_00]: One for each house, and God had direction for them.

[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't just say, well, take the blood like a vampire.

[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't say that.

[SPEAKER_00]: He said, take all the Lamb and take it and eat it up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Eat it up every bit of it, even to the bone.

[SPEAKER_00]: Eat it up, eat every bit of it up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't waste, have it all.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what they did?

[SPEAKER_00]: They ate it, every bit of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: All the lamps of their house.

[SPEAKER_00]: It took them all in.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what, also happened, it said this.

[SPEAKER_00]: It said, all the lamps sacrifice that you did pointed to.

[SPEAKER_00]: One true Lamodot was takes away the sin of the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: John chapter one, right this down.

[SPEAKER_00]: John chapter one, 29.

[SPEAKER_00]: John had talked about a Messiah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about John the Baptist now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though it's written by John, did it cycle?

[SPEAKER_00]: John, the Baptist said this.

[SPEAKER_00]: The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is that Lamb, the very Lamb.

[SPEAKER_00]: Number two, what is the second piece that we're gonna talk about?

[SPEAKER_00]: On Living Bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what is on Living Bread?

[SPEAKER_00]: I almost brought it out today.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do it another time.

[SPEAKER_00]: We talked just about bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: We might do that this spring.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: What is on Living Bread?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's flat bread, I call it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's bread that's flat.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not talking about your fat little cousin.

[SPEAKER_00]: You said on the one-to-bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about that kind of flat bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've done that by accident.

[SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever tried to take bread home and you said in the back, and maybe a bottle of pop or milk falls on the flat and zip?

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about that kind of flat bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about the kind of bread that doesn't rise.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: There's no yeast in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's no yeast in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've had some people who've used old yeast.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Mac doesn't rise or it's too sick.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not what Jesus is talking about.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the Lord God, by the way that weren't in the same.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's talking about not having any use to talk.

[SPEAKER_00]: He went here and we had a Peter bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what that's flat bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: Peter bread is the best example what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna buy some Peter bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's the best example.

[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the time it comes out of Israel, when you buy it, in most cases.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can buy it right out of Israel, what I'm gonna do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna go right down to the world market that they have down there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna buy it right out of Israel.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to make sure it's close as I can get.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I want you to see, as flat as could be, I've had it in Israel.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's good though, it's good.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's no big Mac, I'll tell you that, but it's good.

[SPEAKER_00]: All that being said is good bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's only the why.

[SPEAKER_00]: The feast was to last for seven days.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those right with the the the pace up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if the 11th bread is last for seven days, all 11 products were to be removed from the household.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, 11 to be found at all.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so imagine going to the kitchen right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Back there, you're going to have yourself some of the best homemade bread you ever had in your life.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of 11 in that jazz.

[SPEAKER_00]: But even at the smell of cooking.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to steal some, but I didn't, I don't steal.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I wanted some.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's good, 11 bread, however.

[SPEAKER_00]: All the 11 that was made out of that bread is that my house.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if we were celebrating this, all that 11 would have to be removed.

[SPEAKER_00]: No use to talk.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, at least the little use has to be taken.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, at least all of the use tests we've taken out has no 11 whatsoever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Has to be removed.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because 11 represents sin.

[SPEAKER_00]: Levin is a symbol in this case.

[SPEAKER_00]: Levin is a symbol of sin.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the feast is found in Leviticus, chapter 23, 6-8, and this is combining the feast with the Passover, which makes this an eight-day celebration in all, and the one word that fits this feast is sanctification.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Messiah was set apart.

[SPEAKER_00]: His body would not decay in the grave.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the sin has to be removed completely.

[SPEAKER_00]: They said in those scriptures that they would get down and they would have to sweep away all 11 every bit of it, not a bit to be found.

[SPEAKER_00]: Number three, the third feast, the first fruits.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another name for this feast is called

[SPEAKER_00]: y'all on how big a room.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the third feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: It starts on the second day of the Feast of Unlimited.

[SPEAKER_00]: Brad, see how these feasts all go together these three at least.

[SPEAKER_00]: They all go together.

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all on how big a room it starts on the second day of the Feast of Unlimited Brad, and it's also known as the first fruit.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what does that mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: When I was a kid, I hear him say first fruit, I was getting all excited.

[SPEAKER_00]: I thought they'd tell him that orange isn't stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love oranges.

[SPEAKER_00]: But no, this is not talking about actual fruit if you find it in the fruit bin and the grocery store, not at all.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is talking about what you grow.

[SPEAKER_00]: According to Jewish understanding, it occurs on the 16th day of the Hebrew month of Nissan.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is the first crop planted in the winter, the barley harvest.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first fruit in the harvest is cut.

[SPEAKER_00]: and it is prescribed in a prescribed ceremony and presented to the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: You give the first to God.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what does that mean?

[SPEAKER_00]: The very first thing, no, it just means you give your best to God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Give of your best to the master.

[SPEAKER_00]: Give of the best act you have.

[SPEAKER_00]: You give the very first and the very best.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's like when you get paid.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some people, they get paid.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they say, OK, I'm going to give.

[SPEAKER_00]: But this wake is that payment to the house for this way is payment to the car.

[SPEAKER_00]: But this way is payment to whatever.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know the first thing you really should do.

[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I'm not trying to take a live.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you that the right way to do this because, if you put God first,

[SPEAKER_00]: It should be, you take your tie at that first.

[SPEAKER_00]: Tie is a tenth of what you make.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what tie is means tenth.

[SPEAKER_00]: You take a tenth out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say you make a thousand dollars and take out a hundred then.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you take out a hundred and you put that towards God.

[SPEAKER_00]: You make two thousand and take out two hundred.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't afford that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can't afford not to.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's what you do.

[SPEAKER_00]: You get the best of what you have, the very best.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anything beyond a tenth is offering.

[SPEAKER_00]: what you do.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that is how they are to do, get the very first for the best of what you have.

[SPEAKER_00]: It starts with counting of the sheep, the count of sheep, and the get the best of the sheep to the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Number four is Shaavu.

[SPEAKER_00]: Shaavu, actually Shaavu.

[SPEAKER_00]: Shaavu means a feast of weeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Feast of Wigs, another name for the Feast of Wigs or Shavuot, believe or not, is Pentecost.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we talked about Pentecost in Sunday School, and I told you what Pentecost means, or did I?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, Pentecost means 50th.

[SPEAKER_00]: 50th.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, one great thing about 50th,

[SPEAKER_00]: 50th means 50 days after Passover.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they was celebrate, Shog Road, 50 days after Passover.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when you get the Acts chapter two, I'm not telling you to turn there.

[SPEAKER_00]: But when you get the Acts chapter two, you will find out that the Pentecost, that's when everyone starts speaking in tongues, that happened 50 days after the Pentecost.

[SPEAKER_00]: 50 are excuse me, 50 days after the,

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, after the Passover, 50 days.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, just shortly after Jesus Christ died, that's what I have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, the feast was the first fruits of the way to harvest.

[SPEAKER_00]: One word that connects the feast is the word orientation.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the great thing about the feast of weeks, what they want to tell you is that first fruits of the wheat harvest with the first fruits, Israel was to bring two loaves of bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: Only there's the only feast where the lemon bread was used.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I'm telling you this, because coming up in Christmas time, when we have our little light, ceremony,

[SPEAKER_00]: We have 11 bread that we give to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: We actually use all that bread that my mom makes.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to use that and that light service as well as do.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the reason why I'm telling you this is because the only time that you get one to bread in the Bible, 11 bread, why do they do this?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the two of those are presented.

[SPEAKER_00]: One is to represent the Jews and one is to represent the Gentiles.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they do this because one in the Messiah is what they're talking about.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it's talking about how the Messiah is coming and it's how they talk about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: They talk about how the Holy Spirit is used to bring them to the Lord and bring a new, to bring them and have there to be broken down and the Holy Spirit brings them up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then there's the fall feasts.

[SPEAKER_00]: The fall feasts is known as rasha, excuse me, rasha no, rasha shana, which means the feast of trumpets.

[SPEAKER_00]: What is the feast of trumpets?

[SPEAKER_00]: The one word that will connect it to the feasts is the in-gathering.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the trumpets, the rasha shana points to the future with the Messiah returns to rescue the righteous and the judge the wicked.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the feast of trumpets is

[SPEAKER_00]: because Jesus Christ will judge the wicked, and He will judge the righteous too.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if you get scared being thought of being judged by Jesus Christ, I got some good news for you.

[SPEAKER_00]: He will be judged, but the good news is, when it gets time to judge you, he's not gonna judge you by your actions.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna judge you by his on the cross.

[SPEAKER_00]: You understand?

[SPEAKER_00]: And by his resurrection.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's true that your actions here for Christ will be judged.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some people seem to believe if you make them a stake.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God's gonna check that against me and when I stand before him, God is gonna kick me.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's already taken care of.

[SPEAKER_00]: Done a good blood.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just learn from it and apologize for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Number six, yum, cup tour, y'all can pour.

[SPEAKER_00]: Imagine when you came forward and ask Jesus to save you from your sins.

[SPEAKER_00]: You remember that day very well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, maybe you're one who hasn't done that yet.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're one who believes just by believing Jesus' real that you're going to go to heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe you're one who thinks I'm a good enough person because I give to the poor.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or you're thinking, right now, I'm a good enough person.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm here today to eat turkey.

[SPEAKER_00]: I got news for you.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not good enough to go to heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're only a tone.

[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, a tone mate is upon you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Only because of the blood of Jesus, because of the grace of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk a bit more about that in a few weeks.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you have to know that Y'all can pour the day of a tone that was so important because it was the covering for all the previous year's sins.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why it was important.

[SPEAKER_00]: all the people come together and there was a sacrifice of blood, the sacrifice of the innocent animal was to be found.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it says this on Leviticus 1711, for the life of the flesh is in is in the blood and I have given it to you, he's got talking.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have given it to you on the altar to make a torment for your lives, for it is the blood that makes a torment for the soul.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's so important.

[SPEAKER_00]: God is speaking to them.

[SPEAKER_00]: because it's considered the most holy day in the Jewish Bible calendar.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is the extension of what was started on Russia, Shana.

[SPEAKER_00]: What was started on that day, repentance and self-evaluation was completed on Yanthapur, with a torment and regeneration.

[SPEAKER_00]: This day of a tournament points to the future day when Israel repents of her sins and turns to the Messiah of salvation.

[SPEAKER_00]: When Israel's gonna point to God and say, and they're gonna say, Lord God, where's the Messiah and they're gonna realize, they missed the boat.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is the Atonement.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is the blood.

[SPEAKER_00]: And his blood was shed for you on the cross and he rose up again on the grave.

[SPEAKER_00]: You realize that now.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I pray and hope you do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray and hope you do.

[SPEAKER_00]: The last of the seven fees, the first seven that Jesus made in the book of Exodus, is the feast of Tabernacles, the feast of booths.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you've heard of this.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Jewish Thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_00]: Believe it or not, the Jewish Thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not saying that they have a little parade.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying they have a football game while they're in the booths.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying they're eating turkey.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that at all.

[SPEAKER_00]: But this is the feast of Tabernacles of booths, the Jewish Thanksgiving, and the command to do dwell and booths, they build these little booths.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is also known as, I'm not even going to try to say it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a man, a simicath of Tuna, which I'm sure I said wrong.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is a time of our rejoicing is what it means.

[SPEAKER_00]: The one word that can summarize this feast is habitation.

[SPEAKER_00]: They have a date in these booths and they give thanks and to the Lord God and they thank you for all they've done.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then we have the last two.

[SPEAKER_00]: The eighth one is Perum.

[SPEAKER_00]: Perum is the story of Esther, where they cast lots, and God saved them.

[SPEAKER_00]: He saved them for being destroyed.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's, you've heard of this, the ninth piece.

[SPEAKER_00]: The nice feast, maybe you've heard of it, maybe you have it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that is, oh, Hanoga.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you've heard of Hanoga.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm not going to be a bit lied to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: And first I had a hard time for an accident.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason is, did you know originally the Hanukkah word had a sea in the beginning of it?

[SPEAKER_00]: It had a C with the H because the way that they pronounce Hanukkah sounds like somebody going at the Hawkeleudia.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know sounds horrible, but they go Hanukkah, I'm not doing that to the church.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing that because I want to say clean here.

[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, Hanukkah Hanukkah means the festival of lights.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this celebration is a rededication of the second temple of Jerusalem.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it was.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was a Jewish victory over the Greek Syrian army in 164 BC.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is not found the Bible.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is found in the middle of the olden testament.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what if it's not the Bible?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, it is because Jesus does celebrate.

[SPEAKER_00]: It talks about it in the Bible.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the Mac Abes were Jewish followers as soldiers of Judas Mac Abes.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when he took the temple back, he took the temple back from these people, the Greeks and the Syrians.

[SPEAKER_00]: He took the back.

[SPEAKER_00]: They could only, but when it happened, they could only find a small jar of oil.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, while ago I took a little bit of oil,

[SPEAKER_00]: And I put it on that wonderful, beautiful baby.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I put it on them to celebrate and dedicate him to the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: But these people had to have oil to put their lamps.

[SPEAKER_00]: And to burn that oil to show into the Lord that we are dedicated to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: But when they did that, they only had enough oil.

[SPEAKER_00]: Enough oil to last for one day.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they knew that.

[SPEAKER_00]: But they could not find enough.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, God made that oil to burn for eight days because God is unstoppable and why eight days because it took them eight days to get more concentrated oil.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's blessed oil to come to the land.

[SPEAKER_00]: It come to the temple.

[SPEAKER_00]: So God sent that oil, but for the whole eight days when they're waiting for that oil,

[SPEAKER_00]: that Hanukkah, assuming that candle that oil continue to burn until they got more consecrated oil.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is why they have, I'm sure you've seen it, the little Hanukkah candle.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you ever see that Hanukkah candle that eight-like candle, the Hanukkah candle, that's why it's that way, because it took eight days, they were able to have that oil.

[SPEAKER_00]: It should have only lasted one.

[SPEAKER_00]: How could they have it because of God?

[SPEAKER_00]: God gave them light.

[SPEAKER_00]: It folks, this is a good thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good thing because Jesus is our light,

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus doesn't burn for eight days.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus burns for eternity, and it goes on and on and on.

[SPEAKER_00]: That light will never be burnt out if you feel right now that your light is burning out.

[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is not the light.

[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is you keep putting your hand over that light and the people can't see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I say to you right now, remove your hand, remove the darkness around you, make sure the light can be seen.

[SPEAKER_00]: For some, people tradition gets in the way, yes, even in Hanukkah, and other things, people let traditions get in the way at Thanksgiving and other times in at meal times.

[SPEAKER_00]: The let tradition get in the way, but folks, it's not tradition, and needs to be the meaning of the tradition.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is what God said to the Jewish many times.

[SPEAKER_00]: He said that Judaism and Jewish faith, and Jewish religion is not the light.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is the light.

[SPEAKER_00]: In Colossians 2A, it says, beware.

[SPEAKER_00]: Colossians 2A, beware less.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone captivate you through philosophy, evane deceit, and through tradition of men, and the elementary principles of the world, and not after crimes.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is not the things of the world that we need to celebrate, not traditions of Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, even people who celebrate Christ's lot of times get so caught up in tradition and folks, I gotta be honest with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've done it myself back when I was younger.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, if we don't read this version, then we're not reading the right version.

[SPEAKER_00]: If we don't celebrate this way, we're not celebrating the right way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Folks, it has to be Jesus and Jesus alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm talking about the daspo.

[SPEAKER_00]: Colossians 3 23 whatever you do do it hardly as for the Lord and not for men.

[SPEAKER_00]: We are to have a feast every day of our lives a feast for the Lord We are to eat true spiritual food and that's what I'll talk about before we leave here true spiritual food Right now you're about to go to the back

[SPEAKER_00]: And when you go back here, you're gonna have yourself, oh, not a food.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I have no idea how much, but I know it's gonna be good.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna have turkey back there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I imagine a whole bunch of casseroles.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who here likes casseroles?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I do, boy.

[SPEAKER_00]: You give me away from casseroles.

[SPEAKER_00]: Casseroles will swallow me whole.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I love them, or who I do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pumpkin pie.

[SPEAKER_00]: Shut up, cuz you're getting everyone hungry.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's one of their own purpose.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll tell you there's so many other great things.

[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're subbed the much greater in physical food.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's necessary because food is your fuel.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's necessary.

[SPEAKER_00]: The folks, spiritual food, is also necessary.

[SPEAKER_00]: True, spiritual food.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a feast.

[SPEAKER_00]: We need to feast, we need to feast on the spiritual food each and every day.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I dare say, you're out today, you ever been a church, you hear the word, you read the word, you praise the song, you go through it all.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then by the time you get there next time, you feel dry, you feel like you have no more dry.

[SPEAKER_00]: You feel like you're all worn out, I need to go to church, I need to go to church.

[SPEAKER_00]: But what if you missed your time to get there, you might feel, here's a problem.

[SPEAKER_00]: You've not been eating.

[SPEAKER_00]: You've not been eating.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you went a whole week without eating, physical food, you'd be dead.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you went a whole physical week without drinking, you'd be dead.

[SPEAKER_00]: How did Jesus do?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because he is the Lord God and he knew what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: But how do you do it?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm gonna tell you how you do it because you starve in yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's how you're starving spiritually, we need to eat the spiritually.

[SPEAKER_00]: What did Jesus say?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's go to that.

[SPEAKER_00]: When Jesus was gone for 40 days without eating, he was tempted by Satan.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what Satan doing to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: He wants to give you worldly food to eat on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Satan came to him and said, have some bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give it to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Satan wants to give you worldly food to eat.

[SPEAKER_00]: It might be, I don't know what your weakness is.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need to guess.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever that wordly food is, Satan wants to make you that bread for you to eat.

[SPEAKER_00]: But he came to Jesus, Jesus said this in Matthew 44, but he answered in his Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, Matthew 5.6.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the one he says, Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's start with those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled.

[SPEAKER_00]: Folks, you can have righteousness because you have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will guide you through the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can eat on that word, live on that word.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you think you can't go on any further, have you ever had a scripture come to you?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's something I can keep going.

[SPEAKER_00]: You think I don't have ready to give up and I'm gonna keep going further.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a bit, and this is the physical thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a bit exercise and you're ready to give up, and all of a sudden you have this,

[SPEAKER_00]: won't come over you you just had this ability keep on falling just a little further I'm ready to happen and tap out and ready to give up and I can't go on for something who I can keep going a little bit further why so people say oh it's exhilaration well folks the spirit can give you exhilaration the spirit can keep you going calling the Jesus in the world will come upon you John 4 John 4 32 34

[SPEAKER_00]: but he said to them, I have food to eat of what you do not know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, the disciple said to one to another, has anyone brought him anything to eat?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because they thought he was talking about physical food.

[SPEAKER_00]: But Jesus said to them, my food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna turn it, John 6.

[SPEAKER_00]: John 6, 22.

[SPEAKER_00]: John 6, 22.

[SPEAKER_00]: The following day, the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there except the one which his disciples had entered.

[SPEAKER_00]: and that Jesus had not entered the boat with his disciples but that his disciples had gone away alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, their boats came from the Tiberius, excuse me, from Tiberius near the place where they had eight bread, where they had eight bread when the Lord had given things, so they'd eaten the day before, or right before that.

[SPEAKER_00]: When the people there before saw that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they also gotten the boats and came to the

[SPEAKER_00]: Verse 25, when they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, Rabbi, when did you come here?

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus said to him, truly true that I say to you, you seek me not because you saw signs.

[SPEAKER_00]: but because you ate of the loaves and were filled, do not work for the food, which perishes, but for the food that which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give you.

[SPEAKER_00]: For God the Father has said his seal on him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then they ask him, what shall we do that we may work the works of God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus answered them, this is the work of God

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, they said to him, what sign do you show then that we may see and believe you?

[SPEAKER_00]: What work will you perform?

[SPEAKER_00]: Our Father is a man in the desert as it is written.

[SPEAKER_00]: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then Jesus said, truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then they said to him, Lord, give us this bread always.

[SPEAKER_00]: And listen to this now.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus said to verse 35, Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever comes to me shall never hunger, and whoever bleeds to me shall never thirst.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I told you that you have seen me and yet you, excuse me, and yet do not believe.

[SPEAKER_00]: All whom the Father gives me,

[SPEAKER_00]: will come to me and he who comes to me, I will never cast out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Listen that now.

[SPEAKER_00]: All he gives me, I will never cast out.

[SPEAKER_00]: For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who set me.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the will of the Father who has set me.

[SPEAKER_00]: That all whom he has given me, I should lose nothing.

[SPEAKER_00]: but should raise it up at the last day, verse 40, this is the will of him who sent me that everyone who sees the sun and believes in him may have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jews didn't murmured about him because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: They said, is this not Jesus the Son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?

[SPEAKER_00]: How is it then that he says I have come down from heaven Jesus therefore said to them do not murmur much yourself, no one can come to me unless the father who has sent me draws him and I will raise him up on that last day.

[SPEAKER_00]: it is written in the prophets, they shall all be taught by God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, everyone who has heard me, excuse me, everyone who has heard and has learned of the Father comes to me, not that anyone has seen the Father, it's that he who is from God, he has seen the Father, truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me has eternal life.

[SPEAKER_00]: One more time,

[SPEAKER_00]: and they die.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the bread which comes down from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: That one may eat of it and not die.

[SPEAKER_00]: I and the living bread was came down from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.

[SPEAKER_00]: The bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my pledge.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus Christ is the bread of life.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's the only one that can save us for eternity.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is the food that we need to eat up.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is the food that we need to protect of.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so many people are looking for answers.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so many people are afraid to talk about the answer.

[SPEAKER_00]: So many people are afraid to feed the poor.

[SPEAKER_00]: But folks, I'm telling you, that is your job to tell the others out there in the world that you know of the feast that they can have today.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about telling them to come meet here and build a hand.

[SPEAKER_00]: They can eat here each and every week.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it is your job to tell them there is but one feast in that feast is through Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: And today as you eat back there, that's gonna be wonderful, loving.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when you eat that wonderful bread, that's great, but I want you to remember this when you take a bite of that bread.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is the bread that keeps on going and never stops.

[SPEAKER_00]: At first Corinthians 10, one through four,

[SPEAKER_00]: listen what Paul said.

[SPEAKER_00]: I would not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, the cloud was Jesus by the way, under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all the same spirits of food and all drank the same spirits of drink for the strength of the spirits of rock that followed

[SPEAKER_00]: But don't just feast off his approved.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pizzle food comes and goes.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember when I was a kid, I'd eat a mom and dad said, and don't eat, we're having dinner here a little bit.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't snack too much, don't over snack.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember thinking, if I eat at all, if you can't tell, I snack, we're not sure of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I remember thinking, if I eat too much, I don't ever be able to eat again.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're felt like that, you go to Pondros.

[SPEAKER_00]: You may have Pondros.

[SPEAKER_00]: You go to Benancer somewhere there, so much alike, same name even, in a sense.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you go to eat of those places and you go out there, feel like you've got the bust.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, I'm never going to eat it again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what folks?

[SPEAKER_00]: You give it several hours.

[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta eat again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Spearsly speaking, you need to keep this feasting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Never stop feasting, every spirit of food comes to go to the food.

[SPEAKER_00]: So feast, feast time is upon us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Never go hungry.

[SPEAKER_00]: Never let yourself spiritually start.

[SPEAKER_00]: Remember that not just today, but everyday.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you go to eat, pray, pray for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Always pray for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: You say, well, that's a old superstition.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, listen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Being grateful to God is never superstition.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the way to be praying for you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pray as you be.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pray as you walk.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pray as you talk.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pray as you be grateful.

[SPEAKER_00]: Always eat to the Word of God, spiritually.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we close with first Corinthians 1031.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, whether you eat, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God, there's God for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord Jesus, I pray right now that you will help us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Help us to be obedient, help us to be grateful, and Lord help us to feast on your word and evoke prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: to remember Lord that we should feast continuously and to be glad to feast upon your word.

[SPEAKER_00]: And how much these things mean or spirits will speak to.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Lord, I pray that we continue to feast upon you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray Lord God that we will feel your blessings upon us, pray you bless each and every, every morsel that we forsake for you in a praise and Jesus name.
