  1. [SPEAKER_00]: that's all now turned to the book of prophets chapter three.

  2. [SPEAKER_00]: And as you do that, Proverbs chapter three, we're going to read verses five, which you've heard for me several hundred times, but Proverbs chapter three verses five through eight.

  3. [SPEAKER_00]: And after you turn to Proverbs chapter

  4. [SPEAKER_00]: three, verse five through eight.

  5. [SPEAKER_00]: If you could please stand on of the reading of God's Word, it would be appreciated.

  6. [SPEAKER_00]: And if you have a physical reason why you can't, well that's okay, I understand how to read it do.

  7. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I really, really do.

  8. [SPEAKER_00]: But it says in the book of Proverbs, which is a beautiful book, right after songs.

  9. [SPEAKER_00]: Proverbs chapter three, verse five through eight.

  10. [SPEAKER_00]: Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

  11. [SPEAKER_00]: and lean not on your own understanding.

  12. [SPEAKER_00]: In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

  13. [SPEAKER_00]: Do not be wise in your own eyes.

  14. [SPEAKER_00]: Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

  15. [SPEAKER_00]: It will be health to your body and strength to your bones.

  16. [SPEAKER_00]: God bless and honor the reading of his word.

  17. [SPEAKER_00]: And you may be seated.

  18. [SPEAKER_00]: three, that's RE, sometimes dash, depending on how you look at it, RE is not really a word, even though in some places it can't be used as a word, RE.

  19. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's house for now, it's today.

  20. [SPEAKER_00]: RE is in the beginning of so many words, it truly is.

  21. [SPEAKER_00]: I had started looking this up.

  22. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize how many words began with three.

  23. [SPEAKER_00]: It's sometimes it's not pronounced that way.

  24. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not as rare.

  25. [SPEAKER_00]: But three is the beginning of many, many words of fact.

  26. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm wearing the tie that I'm wearing today because of rain here.

  27. [SPEAKER_00]: Rudolph, the red R.E.

  28. [SPEAKER_00]: Red knows reindeer.

  29. [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't think of it elsewhere.

  30. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I wore that.

  31. [SPEAKER_00]: They both start with R.E.

  32. [SPEAKER_00]: But red reindeer.

  33. [SPEAKER_00]: R.E.

  34. [SPEAKER_00]: So R.E isn't being with so many words.

  35. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, looking at the police in English, it probably more than that.

  36. [SPEAKER_00]: But in English is at least over 900 words that start in R.E.

  37. [SPEAKER_00]: over 900 words.

  38. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot in it.

  39. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot.

  40. [SPEAKER_00]: So, re is a versatile prefix.

  41. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's derived from a Latin language, what I said is probably more than just English.

  42. [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's derived from a Latin language.

  43. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I was like re.

  44. [SPEAKER_00]: What's that?

  45. [SPEAKER_00]: It was very interesting.

  46. [SPEAKER_00]: So, it's a prefix.

  47. [SPEAKER_00]: It goes before the words.

  48. [SPEAKER_00]: And as a child like the re and my favorite

  49. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, in my loan, did you all like recess?

  50. [SPEAKER_00]: If you went to the public school, we all like recess.

  51. [SPEAKER_00]: Recess was fun.

  52. [SPEAKER_00]: So we, you know, we don't know what I was thinking what the re was to this session.

  53. [SPEAKER_00]: So we went into the re, but that was always fun because another thing I enjoyed in the 80s has long before some of you all were even born.

  54. [SPEAKER_00]: But the re, there's a song the way it relax.

  55. [SPEAKER_00]: You can do it.

  56. [SPEAKER_00]: So that was a fun thing.

  57. [SPEAKER_00]: You could relax it, recess, or whatever.

  58. [SPEAKER_00]: Always a lot of fun.

  59. [SPEAKER_00]: but do you may not know this or maybe do?

  60. [SPEAKER_00]: Read has three definitions.

  61. [SPEAKER_00]: Read number one is what we'll call it.

  62. [SPEAKER_00]: Read number one means again.

  63. [SPEAKER_00]: again, to repeat, to redo, to rebuild, to restore, to restart.

  64. [SPEAKER_00]: This is re-number one.

  65. [SPEAKER_00]: Re-number two is to go back to go backwards.

  66. [SPEAKER_00]: It means to return, reflect, respond, review, recede.

  67. [SPEAKER_00]: I find that little offensive, recede, uh, and uh, repeat.

  68. [SPEAKER_00]: And then there's read number three.

  69. [SPEAKER_00]: Read number three is undo, like reverse, readjust, recover, reassemble, rediscover, or reboot.

  70. [SPEAKER_00]: Now these are the types of read.

  71. [SPEAKER_00]: And the title of today's sermon is read.

  72. [SPEAKER_00]: What I know is a bizarre title.

  73. [SPEAKER_00]: It is.

  74. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the kind of thing that we usually do.

  75. [SPEAKER_00]: But once we have bizarre things, but it is going to apply to each and every one of us.

  76. [SPEAKER_00]: Every Christian has a read,

  77. [SPEAKER_00]: in our life.

  78. [SPEAKER_00]: I say every day, I mean, so we're 900 words, but we all have reads in our life.

  79. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's take a look at the read.

  80. [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, read number one is again to repeat, to rebuild, to restore, to restart, to re-gift.

  81. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I say forgive, because we just went through Christmas.

  82. [SPEAKER_00]: And re-gift is a word that happens at Christmas time.

  83. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, you don't have to feel ashamed of it.

  84. [SPEAKER_00]: It does happen.

  85. [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen re-gifting happen even this year.

  86. [SPEAKER_00]: There were people re-gift.

  87. [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever heard a re-gifting?

  88. [SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?

  89. [SPEAKER_00]: It means if you receive something you already have or that you didn't want or need or whatever, you know, you're trying to be nice about it.

  90. [SPEAKER_00]: But a year goes by and suddenly you're regifting.

  91. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a problem.

  92. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes people re-gift not realizing they're giving it back to the person they gave to them.

  93. [SPEAKER_00]: That's regifting.

  94. [SPEAKER_00]: People do that sometimes.

  95. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they're like, oh, I've got to give these whatever.

  96. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll say pencils.

  97. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm just throwing that out here.

  98. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll pencil safety.

  99. [SPEAKER_00]: So only of these pencils to sew it.

  100. [SPEAKER_00]: So it seems like something like, yeah, the problem is sister Heather.

  101. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just using her because I saw the sister Heather gave this to me.

  102. [SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm giving him back to her at the ladies, not out or whatever.

  103. [SPEAKER_00]: And she's all like, oh, yeah, they don't realize they give it to me.

  104. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's okay.

  105. [SPEAKER_00]: And I love mine not the same thing.

  106. [SPEAKER_00]: So re-gifting sometimes can do that.

  107. [SPEAKER_00]: And it can be redundant.

  108. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not the re for you anyway.

  109. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's what re-gifting can be.

  110. [SPEAKER_00]: And we see that we'll go to another read.

  111. [SPEAKER_00]: It happens to Christmas sometimes.

  112. [SPEAKER_00]: But here's the most important thing.

  113. [SPEAKER_00]: about get Christmas.

  114. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the greatest and reasonable time.

  115. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus came.

  116. [SPEAKER_00]: and he was born so that we could be reborn.

  117. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, it's a rebirth.

  118. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why he was born.

  119. [SPEAKER_00]: He was born so that we could be born again.

  120. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why Chris was so beautiful about.

  121. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to John 3-3.

  122. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a beautiful scripture of John 3-3.

  123. [SPEAKER_00]: We know about John 3-16.

  124. [SPEAKER_00]: We talk about it quite a bit.

  125. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just about everybody does.

  126. [SPEAKER_00]: But John 3-3 says, Jesus answered him.

  127. [SPEAKER_00]: Now remember, who's he talk to here?

  128. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we talk about this quite a bit.

  129. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is speaking to the apostle here.

  130. [SPEAKER_00]: Speak to the apostle who one day help, bury him, and it's a beautiful scripture.

  131. [SPEAKER_00]: He says to him, truly, truly, that's an Nathaniel Bible.

  132. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a truly, truly, our excuse of an Nicodemus.

  133. [SPEAKER_00]: Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  134. [SPEAKER_00]: So unless we have a rebirth and are born again,

  135. [SPEAKER_00]: We can't go to heaven.

  136. [SPEAKER_00]: So thank God for the rebirth that the Lord Jesus gave to us.

  137. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the most important read of all time.

  138. [SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah.

  139. [SPEAKER_00]: Now we're going to go to read number two.

  140. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is back backwards.

  141. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, sometimes we can see how the reads can intertwine.

  142. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mean that you change the definition, but we see the two reads go together at times.

  143. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so read number two, back backwards.

  144. [SPEAKER_00]: one and we have is reflect to look backwards, to look upon things.

  145. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people say, never look back, never look back.

  146. [SPEAKER_00]: And I can understand that.

  147. [SPEAKER_00]: I can.

  148. [SPEAKER_00]: It's important not to go backwards, but to look back can be important to remember where we once were.

  149. [SPEAKER_00]: to remember where guys taking us now.

  150. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, sometimes we get so, I guess the word I'm looking for is spoil.

  151. [SPEAKER_00]: We get so control or act, we forget where we want to war.

  152. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why it's important to have rear view mirrors, rear view mirrors, so we look back and see who's behind us and what's going on.

  153. [SPEAKER_00]: If we don't look back,

  154. [SPEAKER_00]: We may get danger.

  155. [SPEAKER_00]: You may see, hey, look, I just came from here and I'm going forward.

  156. [SPEAKER_00]: God wants us every once in a while, the whole spirit might remind us to look back, say, see, look how far you've come.

  157. [SPEAKER_00]: This is important.

  158. [SPEAKER_00]: That kind of read is good.

  159. [SPEAKER_00]: The look backwards, not to go backwards, but to look backwards for moment.

  160. [SPEAKER_00]: So you can respawn, respawn.

  161. [SPEAKER_00]: It is a review.

  162. [SPEAKER_00]: You can have a review of once was.

  163. [SPEAKER_00]: And this can also help you to refresh.

  164. [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to be refreshed.

  165. [SPEAKER_00]: Important about being refreshed.

  166. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know, one thing that's great, even in the morning, we are here for Senate School this morning.

  167. [SPEAKER_00]: We have people who bring treats or are one of our brothers earlier.

  168. [SPEAKER_00]: He brings us donuts and things.

  169. [SPEAKER_00]: So we could be refreshed.

  170. [SPEAKER_00]: And we have a lot of people who bring things and they make coffee and things.

  171. [SPEAKER_00]: So you'd be refreshed.

  172. [SPEAKER_00]: And then ready.

  173. [SPEAKER_00]: In case you didn't have breakfast.

  174. [SPEAKER_00]: And so we have this refreshing thing and I have people who bring your water usually.

  175. [SPEAKER_00]: So I can be refreshed and keep going for 47 minutes.

  176. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm joking, but that looks like your face was great.

  177. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, but anyway, we need to be refreshed, but we need to be refreshed in the word to look back in your week as you go forward.

  178. [SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing how the Holy Spirit has you look back in your brief fresh with the scripture.

  179. [SPEAKER_00]: And suddenly in your life, there's a refreshing to, oh, that's right.

  180. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like the Lord God said in John 3, 16, or whatever scripture it might be.

  181. [SPEAKER_00]: One reason why we refresh you some of the same scriptures again and again and again and again.

  182. [SPEAKER_00]: Why?

  183. [SPEAKER_00]: So you could be refreshed when you needed.

  184. [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to know these things.

  185. [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to know these things so that you don't receive.

  186. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're not talking about my hairline now.

  187. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about so we don't go backwards.

  188. [SPEAKER_00]: So we don't go backwards.

  189. [SPEAKER_00]: So that we don't return the way we once were, the word return,

  190. [SPEAKER_00]: Right after Christmas, one thing that happens a lot is returns.

  191. [SPEAKER_00]: There's an awful lot of gift returns.

  192. [SPEAKER_00]: When I used to work at Sam's Club or other places, you would see returns like you would believe the day after Christmas, the 26th for instance.

  193. [SPEAKER_00]: You would see returns like you would believe there'd be a lot of, oh my, a long line.

  194. [SPEAKER_00]: You say, wow, we've got a lot of people here today.

  195. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, this is like,

  196. [SPEAKER_00]: But then you see that it would be all going to this one of the lines, this is returns.

  197. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of returns that come on on December 26th, I went to Best Buy once.

  198. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember what I bought a gift for somebody.

  199. [SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like it was a movie or something and they got it from two other people that year.

  200. [SPEAKER_00]: So I had to return it and get them something different.

  201. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember what it was.

  202. [SPEAKER_00]: I got it.

  203. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't recall.

  204. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't care.

  205. [SPEAKER_00]: The point was I went to the store on the 26th after working on a and I was in line for a long time.

  206. [SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like hours.

  207. [SPEAKER_00]: It probably wasn't probably 30 minutes.

  208. [SPEAKER_00]: But you know how it is when when you're walking in line you feel like a you feel like cattle you're just.

  209. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's how you feel.

  210. [SPEAKER_00]: That's how those things are.

  211. [SPEAKER_00]: But people return things.

  212. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's the way people are.

  213. [SPEAKER_00]: We recall things.

  214. [SPEAKER_00]: It's good to recall to look back, to learn from it.

  215. [SPEAKER_00]: It can be bad, but it's not.

  216. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a good thing.

  217. [SPEAKER_00]: However, we don't want to go backwards.

  218. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't want to backslide.

  219. [SPEAKER_00]: There was a woman in the Bible.

  220. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know her first name.

  221. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what it is.

  222. [SPEAKER_00]: But we know that her husband's name was Lot.

  223. [SPEAKER_00]: and law had a wife, and she looked back.

  224. [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody would say, what's wrong with that?

  225. [SPEAKER_00]: She was just recalling, I don't know, she was.

  226. [SPEAKER_00]: The fact is, God looked at her heart, and her heart, in her heart, she looked back to a place called Sodom, and in Sodom, she was looking back longing to go back, longing to backslide, longing to live in a sinful, disgusting,

  227. [SPEAKER_00]: horrible, worshiping false God's place where these men were living with men and women with women and doing filthy disgust to where we get the word sotomy from.

  228. [SPEAKER_00]: These horrible, horrible, horrible things and she wanted to live there because she wanted that more than following God.

  229. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what God does it want us to do.

  230. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't we, if looking back to remember where we once were so we can move forward is one thing.

  231. [SPEAKER_00]: Looking back because we'd rather go backwards than forwards is a whole other thing.

  232. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people want to return their salvation.

  233. [SPEAKER_00]: was makes you wonder if they even had salvation.

  234. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, that's not my place.

  235. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not God.

  236. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't say, well, there must have never been a Christian.

  237. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to do that, but I will say this.

  238. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make you wonder about the attitude that was in their heart.

  239. [SPEAKER_00]: If they say, I don't want to keep salvation, I'm giving it back, well, first of all, if you're truly saved, you cannot lose it.

  240. [SPEAKER_00]: But, because it's in the Bible, however, you can wonder if a person truly had it if they don't want it anymore.

  241. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to wonder these things.

  242. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to wander.

  243. [SPEAKER_00]: It says in Colossians 3, 23, 3, 24.

  244. [SPEAKER_00]: It says in Colossians chapter 3, verses 23, 3, 24, and whatever you do, do it heartily as for the Lord and not for men.

    Colossians 3:23

  245. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 24, knowing that from the Lord, you will receive, there's a good RE, receive the reward of the inheritance for you serve the Lord Christ.

  246. [SPEAKER_00]: we should receive the reward from following the Lord God, not following people of this world.

  247. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to remember that.

  248. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's not go backward before.

  249. [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to have a reunion.

  250. [SPEAKER_00]: We're just talking about this little lot of our work we folks.

  251. [SPEAKER_00]: It's good to have a reunion with fellow believers at church in such.

  252. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to have a fellow reunion every single week.

  253. [SPEAKER_00]: I was talking with a couple of my believers and fellow brothers, sister, Christ is important as some people, they say, well, I can watch it on television.

  254. [SPEAKER_00]: I can watch it on YouTube, and that's great.

  255. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got people watching right now, that's wonderful.

  256. [SPEAKER_00]: If you can't come to church, I'm so glad that you have the ability to watch us.

  257. [SPEAKER_00]: That's great too, to watch other wonderful ministers and such, by the way, I don't know what I'm saying.

  258. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm wondering if I'm saying it's wonderful, that God can talk to you through others.

  259. [SPEAKER_00]: When I am saying however he is, even though that's wonderful and you can do that all week long,

  260. [SPEAKER_00]: if you have the ability, if you have been given the ability to get together with fellow believers and receivers of Christ, do so.

  261. [SPEAKER_00]: And also, watch these other messages, make sure to fellow believers, followers of the true Word of God, not just someone who says they know Christ.

  262. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's important because you should be together with fellow believers.

  263. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what it says of fully men, our filaments and some people say, but believe in one seven and I've got a few of these.

  264. [SPEAKER_00]: Believe in one seven says, for we have great joy and encouragement on account of your love because the hearts of the saints, that means believers, the hearts of the saints are refreshed through you, brother.

  265. [SPEAKER_00]: We get refreshed when we get together.

  266. [SPEAKER_00]: Refresh.

  267. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans, chapter 15, verse 32, so Fuleiman was written by all.

    Romans 15:32

  268. [SPEAKER_00]: He wrote Romans as well, and first Corinthians, which we'll go through all.

  269. [SPEAKER_00]: It says in Romans 1532, so that I may come to you with the joy by the will of God and may be refreshed together with you.

  270. [SPEAKER_00]: Something about getting together with fellow believers.

  271. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm not talking about it.

  272. [SPEAKER_00]: You all agree on every little statement.

  273. [SPEAKER_00]: That you agree on every little thing, I'm talking about the fact that you guys are all brought together through the blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and that you can feel the Holy Spirit together, and that you agree there is but one way into heaven, and that you've all been saved by the grace of Jesus and folks, that's how non-believers come to Christ, is by the love of Jesus, not because you're right, because you're not right, but Jesus is right, and he brought you together, and he brought you to salvation through Jesus.

  274. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Pastor, don't you think I'm right now?

  275. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're right.

  276. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, I don't think I'm right either.

  277. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, I'm not sorry.

  278. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I'm right.

  279. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're right.

  280. [SPEAKER_00]: I think Jesus is right.

  281. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the one, not you.

  282. [SPEAKER_00]: I think you're lost and bound for hell if you weren't for Jesus Christ.

  283. [SPEAKER_00]: That kind of know you are.

  284. [SPEAKER_00]: And you deserve it.

  285. [SPEAKER_00]: And so do I.

  286. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, boy, that sounds so harsh, Pastor.

  287. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know.

  288. [SPEAKER_00]: Honesty is.

  289. [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, it's very harsh.

  290. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I'm not telling you God who said, you need to go to hell.

  291. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that.

  292. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying with love and compassion, we need to be honest with them.

  293. [SPEAKER_00]: Say that every single one of us are getting what we don't deserve when we go to Jesus.

  294. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, it's a gift that just keeps on giving everlasting life.

  295. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is a reward that we don't deserve.

  296. [SPEAKER_00]: Praise it all for that.

  297. [SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah.

  298. [SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians, 1618, they have refreshed my spirit and yours, therefore acknowledge these men, getting together with brothers and sisters, Christ, there's a beautiful thing.

  299. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I've learned oftentimes?

  300. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that every Christian has a loving heart, I know that.

  301. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it's because we're falling back on our old flesh.

  302. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we do that.

  303. [SPEAKER_00]: But sometimes what everybody is happy together and they're following the Holy Spirit and we come into church and we don't feel right and we're saying, ah, I'm not getting along with those people because of blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and brother whistle bridges and you know, you start following that, you know, I use these goofy names.

  304. [SPEAKER_00]: The reason why,

  305. [SPEAKER_00]: you're not usually getting along with them, has nothing to do with Brother Whistle Riches.

  306. [SPEAKER_00]: Lots of us have to do with you.

  307. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you came in, you're not feeling good.

  308. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, and maybe it's not the place for you.

  309. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's another church, and that's fine.

  310. [SPEAKER_00]: If that's the way God has called upon you.

  311. [SPEAKER_00]: But it could very well be that you came in with the wrong spirit.

  312. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you came in and you were mad because someone cuts you off on the highway, or maybe you're mad because someone didn't have your favorite hot pocket at the store, or maybe you're mad or whatever it might be, or someone cuts you off and get into the line.

  313. [SPEAKER_00]: And I understand, we've all had our bad day.

  314. [SPEAKER_00]: But folks, you know what I think we ought to do?

  315. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like we wipe our feet off at the door.

  316. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we should wipe our spirit off at the door.

  317. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

  318. [SPEAKER_00]: Wipe your spirit off at the door and get in there, so you can make sure you're refreshed.

  319. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you get home, you're going to be feeling also good.

  320. [SPEAKER_00]: It's something that's hard to rest.

  321. [SPEAKER_00]: That's another RE word.

  322. [SPEAKER_00]: Hard to rest because you get so refreshed from the Holy Spirit, praise the Lord God.

  323. [SPEAKER_00]: Am I alone?

  324. [SPEAKER_00]: Am I the only... Don't we sometimes come in feeling like I don't want to be here?

  325. [SPEAKER_00]: Like Oscar the Grats and we leave here feeling good and bouncing because it's the Holy Spirit, not us.

  326. [SPEAKER_00]: it's beautiful.

  327. [SPEAKER_00]: And here's a beautiful one.

  328. [SPEAKER_00]: Acts chapter three, Luke wrote this down.

  329. [SPEAKER_00]: Acts chapter three, 19 through 21.

  330. [SPEAKER_00]: Acts chapter three, therefore, oh, it's beautiful.

  331. [SPEAKER_00]: A couple of RE words, wonderful.

  332. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm doing a Sesame Street show here, but using these letters here.

  333. [SPEAKER_00]: But we have RE, therefore, this was verse 19 of chapter three, therefore, repent,

  334. [SPEAKER_00]: and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the one who previously was priest to you, Jesus Christ.

  335. [SPEAKER_00]: whom the heavens must receive until the time of restoration.

  336. [SPEAKER_00]: See other RE words.

  337. [SPEAKER_00]: Restoration that God spoke through all his holy prophets since the world began.

  338. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, what's this going on here?

  339. [SPEAKER_00]: This is Peter speaking to the people who are speaking out in tongues because they are to receive crisis or personal or in Savior.

  340. [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, you may have people in your life who do not understand there's but one way.

  341. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been told on Facebook, they've been told all over the place on YouTube and other places.

  342. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you got to be as a nice person.

  343. [SPEAKER_00]: Folks, that's nonsense.

  344. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no such thing as a nice person.

  345. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.

  346. [SPEAKER_00]: I know so and so down the street.

  347. [SPEAKER_00]: She's so nice.

  348. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  349. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  350. [SPEAKER_00]: She might be nice.

  351. [SPEAKER_00]: She might have made you cookies and she might have made you hot chocolate for Christmas.

  352. [SPEAKER_00]: That's wonderful.

  353. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying she's not nice measured towards you or towards other people.

  354. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying she's not good enough to get the heaven on her own.

  355. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we're saying.

  356. [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Rogers seemed like a real nice guy.

  357. [SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't nice enough to get to heaven.

  358. [SPEAKER_00]: The reason why Mr. Rogers is in heaven right now and he isn't heaven is because he was born again by the blood of Jesus Christ and was even a minister.

  359. [SPEAKER_00]: So I know that I will meet Mr. Rogers, Fred, I believe it's a name.

  360. [SPEAKER_00]: It will meet him in heaven because he and I are both saved by the blood of Jesus because we're both known that we were evil on our own.

  361. [SPEAKER_00]: And we were refreshed by the blood, amen.

  362. [SPEAKER_00]: Read number three.

  363. [SPEAKER_00]: That's hard to say.

  364. [SPEAKER_00]: Read number three, undo, undo.

  365. [SPEAKER_00]: It means reversed, read just, reset.

  366. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I know when we have to do our clocks, twice a year, what's I would shoot?

  367. [SPEAKER_00]: Undo themselves.

  368. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to readjust our clocks, right?

  369. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to reset them, kind of knowing in it.

  370. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's another one for you.

  371. [SPEAKER_00]: Recover, reassemble.

  372. [SPEAKER_00]: We reassemble every week, rediscover.

  373. [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever read the Bible?

  374. [SPEAKER_00]: And you've forgotten about something and the Holy Spirit gets your mind and you rediscover something that makes you so excited.

  375. [SPEAKER_00]: And you rediscover this feeling.

  376. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's another one for you, reboot.

  377. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there's a lot of movies that reboot all the time, but even on your VCR, we'll say DVD or whatever it is you go through now you have to reboot your computer or reboot something else is kind of annoying in it, but you know what's great about that refreshing that rebooting when you reboot it starts working better than ever and it might have been I'm not just, oh, it might have been I'm not just to do, but when it gets going it gets going good.

  378. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's another one for your redo.

  379. [SPEAKER_00]: Do over.

  380. [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of the reboot, do over.

  381. [SPEAKER_00]: When we were kids at the night or we were in elementary school, you'd mess up, play and kick ball or something.

  382. [SPEAKER_00]: And it didn't go quite the way you wanted to.

  383. [SPEAKER_00]: And you kind of cheated.

  384. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really what it was.

  385. [SPEAKER_00]: But you'd say, redo, or kids say, do over.

  386. [SPEAKER_00]: And just make sure you give me a freebie.

  387. [SPEAKER_00]: Think you do it over.

  388. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is the same way.

  389. [SPEAKER_00]: He gives you a do over, a freebie.

  390. [SPEAKER_00]: Praise God for that because you didn't pay for it.

  391. [SPEAKER_00]: He did.

  392. [SPEAKER_00]: He looks at you and says, do over.

  393. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a good thing.

  394. [SPEAKER_00]: God's looking at you right now, giving you a do over.

  395. [SPEAKER_00]: You can't pay for yourself.

  396. [SPEAKER_00]: He's giving you do over as in your life.

  397. [SPEAKER_00]: Praise God for that.

  398. [SPEAKER_00]: Isaiah.

  399. [SPEAKER_00]: Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31 says this.

    Isaiah 40:31

  400. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll say it again.

  401. [SPEAKER_00]: Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31.

    Isaiah 40:31

  402. [SPEAKER_00]: but I love this one.

  403. [SPEAKER_00]: But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, that shall mount up with wings as eagles.

  404. [SPEAKER_00]: They shall run and not be weary.

  405. [SPEAKER_00]: They shall walk and not faint.

  406. [SPEAKER_00]: God will renew our strength.

  407. [SPEAKER_00]: Right now you might say, there's things I can't do on my own.

  408. [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

  409. [SPEAKER_00]: But with Christ, oh, all things are possible.

  410. [SPEAKER_00]: He will renew your strength.

  411. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians chapter 4, verse 22 and 24.

    Ephesians 4:22

  412. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians 4, 22 and 24 say, put off to put off your old self which belongs to your former manor of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires.

  413. [SPEAKER_00]: And to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put off the, excuse me, to put on the new self created, I like this, created after the likeness of God and true righteousness and holiness.

  414. [SPEAKER_00]: See, gone with the old and with the new.

  415. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's not just new, it's not a new you in the sense that it should you all over again.

  416. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a new you in the sense that it's the Lord God through you.

  417. [SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful.

  418. [SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful.

  419. [SPEAKER_00]: I love Psalm 51 Psalm 51 verse 10 and 12.

    Psalms 51:10

  420. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I would read you the whole song, but that's there's an awful lot there.

  421. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not going to go through that.

  422. [SPEAKER_00]: But Psalm 51 10 through 12 says this.

  423. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a song that goes with this.

  424. [SPEAKER_00]: It's hard for me not to sing this song, honestly.

  425. [SPEAKER_00]: It says created me a clean heart.

  426. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh God and renew a right spirit within me.

  427. [SPEAKER_00]: If this isn't verse 11, do not cast me away from your presence.

  428. [SPEAKER_00]: And do not take your Holy Spirit from me.

  429. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 12, restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with your willing spirit.

  430. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you know that song.

  431. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you do.

  432. [SPEAKER_00]: Create in me a clean home.

  433. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God, and renew a right spirit within me.

  434. [SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful.

  435. [SPEAKER_00]: And you can sing that every day.

  436. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the way we should start a whole day.

  437. [SPEAKER_00]: Recreate me more.

  438. [SPEAKER_00]: Give me a new day, give me a new me.

  439. [SPEAKER_00]: Less of me, more of you, Lord.

  440. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what John the Baptist said.

  441. [SPEAKER_00]: More of Jesus, less of me, more or less is what he said.

  442. [SPEAKER_00]: And then Romans 12, 12, Romans 12.

  443. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans chapter 12 verse 12 says this.

    Romans 12:12

  444. [SPEAKER_00]: Rejoice.

  445. [SPEAKER_00]: Rejoice.

  446. [SPEAKER_00]: Rejoice is to have joy again.

  447. [SPEAKER_00]: Rejoice in hope, be patient and tribulation, be constant and prayer.

  448. [SPEAKER_00]: Folks, this is not always easy.

  449. [SPEAKER_00]: Rejoice in hope.

  450. [SPEAKER_00]: always be glad you have hope in the Lord Jesus.

  451. [SPEAKER_00]: Be patient and tribulation.

  452. [SPEAKER_00]: When you're going through tribulation, that's not easy.

  453. [SPEAKER_00]: When you're going through trouble, hard times, difficulties.

  454. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not easy to be patient.

  455. [SPEAKER_00]: There may be right now you're trying to get a job and that's hard to do when you're waiting.

  456. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe right now one of your loved ones is sick or dying or have died and that's hard because it's a tribulation.

  457. [SPEAKER_00]: But during all those things be constant and prayer and rejoice in the Lord, always again, I say, rejoice.

  458. [SPEAKER_00]: It's very, very

  459. [SPEAKER_00]: but God will help us.

  460. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's talk about God.

  461. [SPEAKER_00]: God, the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, these three parts, and all three of these use the three versions of read, all three use read in the three different definitions.

  462. [SPEAKER_00]: So God, the Father, he uses read, he rebukes in, he read a range of stains,

  463. [SPEAKER_00]: And what do I mean by that?

  464. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, first of all, he's the creator.

  465. [SPEAKER_00]: He's the creator who's in charge.

  466. [SPEAKER_00]: And he never changes his will.

  467. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to make that perfect clear.

  468. [SPEAKER_00]: God never changes his will.

  469. [SPEAKER_00]: But he changes how it is done at times, for instance, in your life.

  470. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're a disobedient, God may change a few things in your life.

  471. [SPEAKER_00]: Or if we saw the people miserable, when they weren't going to be obedient to him, he said, okay, he rearranged it to where it was going to be there.

  472. [SPEAKER_00]: Young people who were going to do it.

  473. [SPEAKER_00]: That didn't mean God's will change.

  474. [SPEAKER_00]: But it was going to be done in a different way.

  475. [SPEAKER_00]: Was that mean that God's will was it done?

  476. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it was done differently because they wouldn't have it in any other way.

  477. [SPEAKER_00]: So God rearranged your things at times.

  478. [SPEAKER_00]: In order for his will to be done, but that's how it was done.

  479. [SPEAKER_00]: Then reclaims, God reclaims.

  480. [SPEAKER_00]: God reclaims us when we return from obedience.

  481. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me say again, return from disobedience in two obedience.

  482. [SPEAKER_00]: We return two obedience.

  483. [SPEAKER_00]: And God wants to reconcile with us.

  484. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, when you are rebellious, when you are rebellious, God wants to reconcile.

  485. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why God allows you to have your way sometimes.

  486. [SPEAKER_00]: When you won't have any other way, he says, okay.

  487. [SPEAKER_00]: Live a rebellious life, have your way Israel, have your way children, have your way, and when you're done receiving what you think you want to receive.

  488. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you wish that you had return to me and when they return, when the rebellious return to God, he reckons sounds.

  489. [SPEAKER_00]: Now what I mean about reclaiming you?

  490. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you saying that they really lost your salvation?

  491. [SPEAKER_00]: No, but they lost a closeness to God or God wants to receive them and get a lot of times what God will do is use what they went through to make it better and a stronger relationship.

  492. [SPEAKER_00]: Then there's the Holy Spirit.

  493. [SPEAKER_00]: What does the Holy Spirit do?

  494. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to use Jesus last here.

  495. [SPEAKER_00]: What does the Holy Spirit do here?

  496. [SPEAKER_00]: The Holy Spirit also rebukes it.

  497. [SPEAKER_00]: He recruits us to salvation by calling unto us, by recruiting us to salvation and leading us to the cross to become children of God.

  498. [SPEAKER_00]: The Holy Spirit helps us to recall and remember and remind us of mistakes and blessings for growth and correction.

  499. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what the Holy Spirit does.

  500. [SPEAKER_00]: He redirects us, the Holy Spirit redirects us to us followers from the paths of the world and sin unto God and to the Word.

  501. [SPEAKER_00]: And he reconditions us of how we should think, how we should react, how we should respond, how we should behave.

  502. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what the Holy Spirit does for us.

  503. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's go back to God the Father for a second.

  504. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a couple of verses about God the Father.

  505. [SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah 31 25.

  506. [SPEAKER_00]: For I will satisfy the weary soul and ever languishing soul, I will replenish.

  507. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 51 12.

  508. [SPEAKER_00]: Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with your willing spirit.

  509. [SPEAKER_00]: So we've read that earlier, but we need God will restore our joy.

  510. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 23, he restores my soul.

  511. [SPEAKER_00]: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name, say, God wants to restore us.

  512. [SPEAKER_00]: He gets us away from the things of sin.

  513. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what God wants to do.

  514. [SPEAKER_00]: And then last and certainly not least, Jesus.

  515. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus, what does Jesus do?

  516. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus rebuked sin, this like God, the Father, and God, the Holy Spirit rebuked sin.

  517. [SPEAKER_00]: You know why I want to make sure that we said this in three different ways.

  518. [SPEAKER_00]: Cause too often, two very often nowadays, people seem to think that God doesn't mind sin.

  519. [SPEAKER_00]: Folks, God hates sin.

  520. [SPEAKER_00]: He hates it.

  521. [SPEAKER_00]: Too many people say nowadays, look, I love you.

  522. [SPEAKER_00]: Even when you send, yeah, he loves you.

  523. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not the point.

  524. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean he loves what you do.

  525. [SPEAKER_00]: He loves it, love what you do.

  526. [SPEAKER_00]: He rebuked sin, and Jesus Christ refused.

  527. [SPEAKER_00]: He refused to stay dead, didn't he?

  528. [SPEAKER_00]: He refused to stay dead.

  529. [SPEAKER_00]: He rebutted death, and defeated death in the counter-argument.

  530. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what rebutted means.

  531. [SPEAKER_00]: He defeated death in the counter-argument when people rebutt things in court.

  532. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a counter-argument.

  533. [SPEAKER_00]: They come with one thing and Satan tries to do.

  534. [SPEAKER_00]: And Jesus, but, hello, and he came to it with the facts.

  535. [SPEAKER_00]: He rebutted it in the counter argument.

  536. [SPEAKER_00]: And Jesus rectified, that's another argument.

  537. [SPEAKER_00]: He rectified our sin.

  538. [SPEAKER_00]: He set things right, because Jesus is the remedy.

  539. [SPEAKER_00]: Another, are you where I love?

  540. [SPEAKER_00]: He's the remedy of our sin.

  541. [SPEAKER_00]: To correct things, and this is the biggest one of all.

  542. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is the Redeemer.

  543. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is your Redeemer.

  544. [SPEAKER_00]: He is your Redeemer, which is why I asked that we seeing the song about him being the Redeemer.

  545. [SPEAKER_00]: redeem redeem redeem redeem by the blood of the lamb redeem redeem now and forever I am redeem redeem by the blood of Jesus the lamb there are several verses here I'm gonna read as many as a can as quick as I can

  546. [SPEAKER_00]: Job said this.

  547. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Job said this and Job 1925.

  548. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not the year obviously.

  549. [SPEAKER_00]: So chapter 19 verse 25 For I know that my Redeemer lives and that he will stand at last on the earth

  550. [SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah.

  551. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 119.

  552. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 119 says, He sent redemption to His people.

  553. [SPEAKER_00]: He has commanded His covenant forever.

  554. [SPEAKER_00]: Holy and fearful is His name.

  555. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 107 verse 2 says, Let the redeemed of the Lord speak out whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy and folks.

    Psalms 107:2

  556. [SPEAKER_00]: I've got to say this to you.

  557. [SPEAKER_00]: If you have been redeemed today, say amen.

  558. [SPEAKER_00]: And if you have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, when the people come to you and say, I don't know that it's true, say, Oh, no, no, no, no, there is but one way into heaven and history, the Redeemer Jesus Christ, let them know there's a way, let them know that they can be redeemed through Jesus Christ.

  559. [SPEAKER_00]: Let them know there's but one way into heaven.

  560. [SPEAKER_00]: And then let's say, no, Jesus Christ, they shall not be redeemed and they are not redeemed because all of it past here, I feel uncomfortable talking to people about Jesus Christ, whether then you best check yourself with the door,

  561. [SPEAKER_00]: Make sure that you have the courage, make sure you have the heart that make sure you are redeemed yourself and make sure that God is wanting to use you because I know he does.

  562. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't be restricted to tell people that they need to be redeemed.

  563. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians chapter one verse seven.

  564. [SPEAKER_00]: This is New Testament.

  565. [SPEAKER_00]: There's two of them.

  566. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians chapter one verse seven.

  567. [SPEAKER_00]: And him, Jesus, in him, we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace.

  568. [SPEAKER_00]: Colossians 14 and whom we have redemption through His blood and forgiveness of sins.

  569. [SPEAKER_00]: We have been redeemed and you never have to worry about it again.

  570. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not 10 you go out there and live foolishly.

  571. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not 10 you to go out there and never do anything for the Lord.

  572. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not telling that at all.

  573. [SPEAKER_00]: I am simply saying, you have been redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

  574. [SPEAKER_00]: And Jesus is going to show the receipt at the throne that you are reborn born again.

  575. [SPEAKER_00]: By His blood, the lands book of life, when people are going to look at the book of all

  576. [SPEAKER_00]: Your name is not going to be there.

  577. [SPEAKER_00]: It's been wiped away.

  578. [SPEAKER_00]: People who say there's been rereads?

  579. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no.

  580. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not there.

  581. [SPEAKER_00]: She's not there.

  582. [SPEAKER_00]: It's gone.

  583. [SPEAKER_00]: To the loss today, if there's anyone here, are anyone at home or anyone you know?

  584. [SPEAKER_00]: To those who have yet to ask Jesus Christ, who yet to believe, to know that a shadow

  585. [SPEAKER_00]: or those who have looking for other ways to heaven, to their own actions, to their own rewards, of their own way.

  586. [SPEAKER_00]: I say this, please reconsider.

  587. [SPEAKER_00]: Please reconsider, repent of your sins.

  588. [SPEAKER_00]: Not because I have, not because the famous ministers, I've really rammed Chuck Swindall and all those others have, not because of that, but because there's no other way to heaven,

  589. [SPEAKER_00]: Repent of your sins, come to recline in the arms of the Redeemer Jesus.

  590. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no other way.

  591. [SPEAKER_00]: And receive the everlasting gift of everlasting life with no remorse.

  592. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't mean no remorse of your sins.

  593. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean with no remorse of feeling of feeling the gratefulness, Jesus wants to give it to you.

  594. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus wants to give it to you today.

  595. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people say, but I don't deserve it, and that's the remorse they feel, and they're right.

  596. [SPEAKER_00]: I got news for you.

  597. [SPEAKER_00]: No one here deserves it.

  598. [SPEAKER_00]: No one out there deserves it.

  599. [SPEAKER_00]: No one in heaven today deserves heaven ever.

  600. [SPEAKER_00]: None of us do, but that's the beauty of the Lord Jesus, the Redeemer redeems the undeserving, and that's everyone who's ever lived.

  601. [SPEAKER_00]: So before you think of yourself being remorseful and thinking you shouldn't receive it, just get in line.

  602. [SPEAKER_00]: Now that's deserve it, all are able to receive because of the redeemer once you're redeemed.

  603. [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to retreat and realize you can be re-established to a reality of joy awaiting with great rewards, just waiting for you to receive and to retrieve it forever and ever.

  604. [SPEAKER_00]: So come to the Redeemer today and receive what he has for you.

  605. [SPEAKER_00]: For this reason, we do not lose heart, even though our outward man is perishing, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day.

  606. [SPEAKER_00]: Bless about prayer.

  607. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord Jesus, we just thank you today.

  608. [SPEAKER_00]: We thank you, Lord God, for this year that we've been blessed with.

  609. [SPEAKER_00]: I thank you, Lord God, as we begin a brand new year, that we can be renewed every single day, not just at the new year's time, not just a Christmas.

  610. [SPEAKER_00]: Not just the birth days and not just the anniversaries, but Lord, you allow us to be renewing every day.

  611. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord, I pray that if there are people right now who do not know you as a personal Lord at Savior, that this very day they receive you, that Lord God, if they will understand just how wonderful their life can be, if they simply receive.

  612. [SPEAKER_00]: And Lord God, I pray right now that we will just feel your presence with this.

  613. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep everyone safe on the way home and allow them to feel your presence within when they get home.

  614. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray that this Lord God is the year begins, that we will start it off with you.

  615. [SPEAKER_00]: And Lord God, that we will just feel your presence with this continuously.

  616. [SPEAKER_00]: And we pray for our families and our friends and all the people that we know and we pray that they will reach out to you too.

  617. [SPEAKER_00]: We pray for this and your holy and precious name, Lord Jesus, amen and amen.
