  1. [SPEAKER_00]: That's all now, please.

  2. [SPEAKER_00]: Turn to Proverbs chapter 4.

    Proverbs 4 chapter mention

  3. [SPEAKER_00]: Proverbs 4 of 23.

  4. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a very short one.

  5. [SPEAKER_00]: And once you turn to Proverbs chapter 4 of verse 23, she could please stand and honor of the reading of God's word.

    Proverbs 4 chapter mention

  6. [SPEAKER_00]: It would be appreciated.

  7. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says, Proverbs 423, keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life and you may be seated.

  8. [SPEAKER_00]: Now last week we had a sermon and it was called because of the way he loves and that was the sermon that we had.

  9. [SPEAKER_00]: We had two hearts that were at war we spoke about.

  10. [SPEAKER_00]: And

  11. [SPEAKER_00]: We spoke about that and I meant to draw a picture to hand out.

  12. [SPEAKER_00]: I just kind of forgot about the late last night.

  13. [SPEAKER_00]: There was no way at two in the morning.

  14. [SPEAKER_00]: I was going to make that.

  15. [SPEAKER_00]: But either way, I might draw it later.

  16. [SPEAKER_00]: But two hearts at war, two hearts at war.

  17. [SPEAKER_00]: And we spoke about this.

  18. [SPEAKER_00]: Now we could get into a conversation how everybody has two sides of them.

  19. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not what we're talking about.

  20. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about two hearts at war in every Christian and every Christian.

  21. [SPEAKER_00]: and the heart of the spirit.

  22. [SPEAKER_00]: And in doing that, we read Romans chapter eight, different parts of it.

  23. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that here in a little bit, but we'll go through some of that to get, we'll actually all of that part.

  24. [SPEAKER_00]: However, the title today's sermon explains that war that goes on.

  25. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the title today's sermon.

  26. [SPEAKER_00]: Two hearts, one mind.

  27. [SPEAKER_00]: And the S, that goes right along with the Phil Collins, on what's I like?

  28. [SPEAKER_00]: two hearts, living in just one mind, and there's a truth to that, because what's out of the heart you go to will direct your mind and how you think, and really the way your mind does things.

  29. [SPEAKER_00]: The way you think depends on how your heart is going, the way your heart is going is all depending on how your mind is going.

  30. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's look at the two hearts, the two hearts that are at war.

  31. [SPEAKER_00]: First of all, I do have a way of taking a look at things, the way that we can see two hearts.

  32. [SPEAKER_00]: Take our glasses off for just a second here.

  33. [SPEAKER_00]: We have two hearts here, right in the middle, two hearts.

  34. [SPEAKER_00]: And the way that we see through these hearts, whether it be the left or the right you can't tell, because I'm blinking, but the fact is, are close one eye.

  35. [SPEAKER_00]: It can really affect our mind, two hearts, just one mind.

  36. [SPEAKER_00]: But the way that our mind thinks could really change your brain completely.

  37. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a lot of times a spiritual mind is how supposed to go.

  38. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's now take a look.

  39. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna take this off because you have no idea but you all just got really red.

  40. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's take a look at the two hearts at war.

  41. [SPEAKER_00]: And every Christian,

  42. [SPEAKER_00]: There's two hearts at world with one mind, trying to take over the mind, these hearts are.

  43. [SPEAKER_00]: And which ones are gonna win out?

  44. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's take a look at the heart of flesh.

  45. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 8-8 says this.

  46. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll go back to Romans 8 later on.

  47. [SPEAKER_00]: But Romans 8-8 talks about the heart of the flesh.

  48. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, there's another verse right before it, which we'll talk about in the moment too.

  49. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 8-8 says this.

  50. [SPEAKER_00]: And those who are in the flesh can not please God.

  51. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna say it again.

  52. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are in the flesh can not please God.

  53. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm at the lost.

  54. [SPEAKER_00]: They can't please God.

  55. [SPEAKER_00]: But what about the saved?

  56. [SPEAKER_00]: Can they please God when you're in the flesh?

  57. [SPEAKER_00]: Not really.

  58. [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're following the old flesh.

  59. [SPEAKER_00]: They're following the ways of man, old man.

  60. [SPEAKER_00]: When you're following your old way,

  61. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about the fact that you're not saying, we know you're saying when you're when you've asked you using your heart, but when you're following the old nature, the flesh, you cannot please God.

  62. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's say that it's doing a horrible habit of some sort.

  63. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever it might be, maybe it's lust.

  64. [SPEAKER_00]: But folks, lust is not always sexual.

  65. [SPEAKER_00]: Lust can, and not actually usual when we think of, but there's a lot of other types of lust.

  66. [SPEAKER_00]: Could be a lust for war.

  67. [SPEAKER_00]: There's warmongers, you know.

  68. [SPEAKER_00]: We won't get into what we're going through now.

  69. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not warmongering necessarily.

  70. [SPEAKER_00]: But the people that were destroyed, they were warmongers for certain.

  71. [SPEAKER_00]: But the fact is, is there are people who have lust for property.

  72. [SPEAKER_00]: The lust for power, who have lust for money, lust for things, lust for power and pain on other people, lust for hate!

  73. [SPEAKER_00]: There's people who have lust for knowing all the details of everyone's life.

  74. [SPEAKER_00]: That's gossip.

  75. [SPEAKER_00]: That's worse than that.

  76. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that someday.

  77. [SPEAKER_00]: That why gossip is such a dangerous poison to the brain.

  78. [SPEAKER_00]: And it is.

  79. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about it before long, maybe in the spring.

  80. [SPEAKER_00]: But the problem with that is that kind of a lust is a lust for dirty details, so to speak.

  81. [SPEAKER_00]: There's people who are like that.

  82. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you see it online all the time.

  83. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a dangerous thing.

  84. [SPEAKER_00]: It can come in and poison you.

  85. [SPEAKER_00]: Lust is a dangerous thing.

  86. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are in the flesh cannot please God, folks every Christian has to wrestle with it.

  87. [SPEAKER_00]: Men, men, men, X men, men of Christ.

  88. [SPEAKER_00]: Come this Tuesday.

  89. [SPEAKER_00]: Come this Tuesday at 630, we will speak details to detail about wrestling with us, and we all wrestle with it.

  90. [SPEAKER_00]: You wrestle with the flesh, have you wrestle with Christ?

  91. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to talk about that one on one.

  92. [SPEAKER_00]: Just us, men to men, men of God.

  93. [SPEAKER_00]: But we do, we wrestle with this.

  94. [SPEAKER_00]: And then there's the heart of the Spirit.

  95. [SPEAKER_00]: The heart of the Spirit, let's look to Romans eight, nine.

  96. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans eight, verse nine says, you, however, and remember what he just said, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God, you, however, are not in the flesh.

  97. [SPEAKER_00]: But in the Spirit, talk about the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, you are in the Spirit.

  98. [SPEAKER_00]: If indeed, now Leslie says, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you, he's saying, if you are truly safe, if you truly have your faith as Jesus to save you by grace, we'll say it again.

  99. [SPEAKER_00]: You however are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you, now if it in man does not have the Spirit of Christ,

  100. [SPEAKER_00]: This brings an awful lot of questions to people have a lot.

  101. [SPEAKER_00]: There's got to love these people.

  102. [SPEAKER_00]: Sherry loves him.

  103. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have to, he came and died for him.

  104. [SPEAKER_00]: But they don't belong to him.

  105. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's go one by one, talk about the heart of the flesh.

  106. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to talk about the heart of the spirit.

  107. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll go into that stuff.

  108. [SPEAKER_00]: One by one, we're dissected.

  109. [SPEAKER_00]: The heart of the flesh.

  110. [SPEAKER_00]: I forgot that clock is not correct.

  111. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was kind of freaking out.

  112. [SPEAKER_00]: The heart of the flesh wants to control the mind with sin.

  113. [SPEAKER_00]: To what it wants, it wants to control the mind with sin and the old nature which we naturally know.

  114. [SPEAKER_00]: So I've heard it said many times, and most preachers have, most ministers have, and most preachers have.

  115. [SPEAKER_00]: We've heard it said many times, it said, why is it so hard to get away from old habits?

  116. [SPEAKER_00]: Why is it so hard not to sin sometimes?

  117. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, folks, it's because that's the oldest.

  118. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the oldest, you know?

  119. [SPEAKER_00]: It's difficult, the fight will comes natural.

  120. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just difficult.

  121. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like when you're trying to teach a child to walk when they're baby, you remember?

  122. [SPEAKER_00]: If a baby learns to walk in correctly, now I don't know, I don't know your life, but I've seen babies walking correctly.

  123. [SPEAKER_00]: And you remember how they're trying to say, I'm going to have to react this because I've seen babies do this, you know, you see, you know, little babies are so cute aren't they cute and dumb because they don't know any better yet, but you see a baby trying to walk like this.

  124. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's not right, but that's all they know.

  125. [SPEAKER_00]: So what they do is that they try to hold the hands of the parent they're walking like this and their legs are bowed and they're going like this.

  126. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, eventually their legs get straight and they walk right.

  127. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you, if the parent allows them, let's talk about a father for a minute.

  128. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, mothers do most of the loving stuff like that, be truthful about it.

  129. [SPEAKER_00]: But if a father, because we're talking about Father God now, if a father is loving, he tries to straighten out their legs as they get stronger and tries to get in a walk right, okay now, walk straight now, and he gets in a walk right, and then no longer go like this, and then no longer bowed and all this, I just about fell.

  130. [SPEAKER_00]: And all those things, no, because

  131. [SPEAKER_00]: if he loves you, he'll make you walk correctly.

  132. [SPEAKER_00]: But too many Christians think that a loving God less than walk like this for the whole Christian life, you can't walk like that.

  133. [SPEAKER_00]: God tells you to read the word and straighten up, walk right.

  134. [SPEAKER_00]: Walk like a man of God, talk like a man of God, or a woman of God, however you are.

  135. [SPEAKER_00]: Do what's right.

  136. [SPEAKER_00]: It's what God does.

  137. [SPEAKER_00]: So what we're supposed to do, but we're not to walk in the heart of the flesh.

  138. [SPEAKER_00]: You see, we often go to the flesh.

  139. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a temptation every day.

  140. [SPEAKER_00]: Satan's like an old salesman.

  141. [SPEAKER_00]: He comes to what looks good to you, but you gotta be careful.

  142. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he can make almost anything like shiny and nice.

  143. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, people do it to baby.

  144. [SPEAKER_00]: He can make almost anything look good on the outside.

  145. [SPEAKER_00]: look at the brand new car in the beautiful you watched it up real nice real pretty it's shiny it looks pretty just like you want to see nice red beautiful vehicle but on the inside there's no motor there's no battery there's nothing you need

  146. [SPEAKER_00]: It looks good, but it does nothing.

  147. [SPEAKER_00]: That's necessary in the inside.

  148. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what sin is like.

  149. [SPEAKER_00]: You get inside, it falls apart, destroys your life, and before long you're like, I spit all the money I had saved up.

  150. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what devil does.

  151. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he's like, well, by everywhere, that's why he does.

  152. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're supposed to be a Christian.

  153. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what you always hear in your heart.

  154. [SPEAKER_00]: Why?

  155. [SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what the devil does.

  156. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a salesman, listen to Jeremiah.

  157. [SPEAKER_00]: He's behind the whole thing, Satan is yes.

  158. [SPEAKER_00]: You have free will.

  159. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you gave him into it.

  160. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he uses others, but Satan's behind it.

  161. [SPEAKER_00]: He wants you to fall, not lose salvation, of course.

  162. [SPEAKER_00]: But once you do that, so you be a bad witness, so that you can't roll.

  163. [SPEAKER_00]: You see, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, 179.

  164. [SPEAKER_00]: Listen with Jeremiah says, and I want you to remember what Jeremiah was going through.

  165. [SPEAKER_00]: Not only was Jeremiah used of God to speak to all the people in the land and the land was going through a lot.

  166. [SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah suffered greatly, but he kept preaching the word and speak of the word.

  167. [SPEAKER_00]: And listen what he said.

  168. [SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah, chapter 17, verse 9, it says, and I repeat, the heart is more deceitful than all things and desperately wicked.

    Jeremiah 17:9

  169. [SPEAKER_00]: Who can understand it?

  170. [SPEAKER_00]: It's deceitful.

  171. [SPEAKER_00]: It's desperately wicked.

  172. [SPEAKER_00]: He's saying, who can understand that or hard?

  173. [SPEAKER_00]: It's desperate like that.

  174. [SPEAKER_00]: It will do all sorts of horrible things.

  175. [SPEAKER_00]: Then in Romans 8.7, now what about we read?

  176. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 8.8 and then Romans 8.9.

  177. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's look how that started.

  178. [SPEAKER_00]: In Romans 8.7.

  179. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 8.7 says, for the carnal mind is hostile toward God.

  180. [SPEAKER_00]: for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be.

  181. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to read to you Romans 8 7 and 8 8 together.

  182. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to have to carnal mine.

  183. [SPEAKER_00]: It's talking about the old worldly mine, the mine that has been morbidly changed and mutated because of the old flesh, the old sin, the old man.

  184. [SPEAKER_00]: if you let that heart, that old heart, that old, fleshly heart morphed the mind and mutated and direct it, you're gonna go everywhere you can, but not the right place.

  185. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's take a look at that.

  186. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, for the carnivine is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be.

  187. [SPEAKER_00]: it says, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God, there was a say in the next verse, you however are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if indeed the spirit of God lives in you, now if any man does not have the spirit of price, he does not belong to him.

  188. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to remember this.

  189. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to remember this.

  190. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's now turn to Colossians.

  191. [SPEAKER_00]: Colossians chapter three.

  192. [SPEAKER_00]: Colossians chapter three, excuse me, versus five through ten.

  193. [SPEAKER_00]: Colossians three, five through ten says, therefore, put to death the parts of your earthly nature, sexual immorality, uncleanness,

  194. [SPEAKER_00]: in coordinate, which means excessive affection, evil desire and covetous, which is idolatry.

  195. [SPEAKER_00]: Because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.

  196. [SPEAKER_00]: You also once walked in these, when you lived in them.

  197. [SPEAKER_00]: But now, you must also put away all these.

  198. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's talking about we once lived in these simple, horrible things, and this is why he said to the people of the Colossians.

  199. [SPEAKER_00]: So he said this.

  200. [SPEAKER_00]: He said, you must also, this verse eight now.

  201. [SPEAKER_00]: But now, you must also put away these away all these, anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy,

  202. [SPEAKER_00]: And listen to this, and filthy language out of your mouth, do not lie one to another.

  203. [SPEAKER_00]: Since you have put off the old nature with its deeds and have embraced the new nature, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him who created it.

  204. [SPEAKER_00]: When you lose your temper, what's I've done?

  205. [SPEAKER_00]: And you say things you shouldn't say, what we do, we take on that old nature, the old nature of the flesh.

  206. [SPEAKER_00]: When you start sounding like a, and I'm gonna use a term of the world here, no, I don't mean a wordly term, but I mean the term of the world, when you start sounding like an old sailor, maybe you've never done that.

  207. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray and hope you have it.

  208. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you have,

  209. [SPEAKER_00]: if you've ever said words that are inappropriate, that doesn't mean you're not a Christian, that doesn't mean you've lost salvation because you can't.

  210. [SPEAKER_00]: But it does mean in that moment, you've gone to the old nature, go back to the Lord afterwards, said, Lord, I'm a credibly sorry.

  211. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, I'm not saying say the words are saying say it with your heart, not with your tongue, with your heart.

  212. [SPEAKER_00]: Because as you can see, the tongue can say anything.

  213. [SPEAKER_00]: The tongue can say anything.

  214. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's not just what is said here, but what's said with the heart.

  215. [SPEAKER_00]: Flip that heart around, go back to the new heart, the heart of the spirit.

  216. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't let the heart of the flesh win.

  217. [SPEAKER_00]: If you have flipped the heart of the flesh for that moment of frustration and anger, which I think we've all done, over past I've never cursed, yes, and that's good.

  218. [SPEAKER_00]: If that's the case, but let me just tell you a little secret.

  219. [SPEAKER_00]: Even if you've never said it's certain order five,

  220. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean you never spoke it in the flesh.

  221. [SPEAKER_00]: If you say something hurtful, but an empty bad word, you know what?

  222. [SPEAKER_00]: Even a word that's thought of as kind and intelligent, if it's said in a hurtful, hateful, mean, ungodly, cruel, evil manner.

  223. [SPEAKER_00]: It's wrong, it's evil.

  224. [SPEAKER_00]: have out those people who take the Word of God and manipulate like Satan did in Genesis chapter 3 or the people who get on YouTuber anywhere else and they try to manipulate the Word of God to teach their own perspective like the devil did.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  225. [SPEAKER_00]: That's evil too.

  226. [SPEAKER_00]: That is speaking filthy inappropriate communication out of their mouth.

  227. [SPEAKER_00]: For a lot of me said about that.

  228. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to be very,

  229. [SPEAKER_00]: very careful indeed, but I digress.

  230. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me go back to what I was saying.

  231. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't mean to interrupt myself, but I did, anyway.

  232. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so it says, I make sure I'm saying this right.

  233. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, no, I think I got there.

  234. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, it says, I said it right.

  235. [SPEAKER_00]: Not to have filthy communication out of your mouth.

  236. [SPEAKER_00]: We must be very careful.

  237. [SPEAKER_00]: the new spirit, hit go over it.

  238. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the things that I hate is blasphemy.

  239. [SPEAKER_00]: People say, well, it's not blasphemy unless you say it this way or say it that way, well, that's not true.

  240. [SPEAKER_00]: When you take the Word of God and change it around, or you take the name of Jesus and you mock Him.

  241. [SPEAKER_00]: That's by us too.

  242. [SPEAKER_00]: We must be very, very, very, very careful.

  243. [SPEAKER_00]: People constantly are mocking God and it has to stop and has to stop.

  244. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's constant.

  245. [SPEAKER_00]: I see Christians doing all the time too, trying to take things in their own way.

  246. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the heart of the flesh.

  247. [SPEAKER_00]: But we need not to be that we need to be the heart of the spirit.

  248. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what we need to do.

  249. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's what now look to Galatians.

  250. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's look to Galatians.

  251. [SPEAKER_00]: Galatians.

  252. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Galacian is chapter five now.

  253. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is where it's a lot of reading.

  254. [SPEAKER_00]: I was in the wrong places.

  255. [SPEAKER_00]: So Galacian chapter five versus 13.

  256. [SPEAKER_00]: through 26.

  257. [SPEAKER_00]: So Galatians chapter five.

  258. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, this again is Paul, just like it was in Colossians.

  259. [SPEAKER_00]: This is Paul, or even a lot of Paul today.

  260. [SPEAKER_00]: So in Galatians chapter five, verse 13 through 26, this says this verse 13, new brothers have been called to liberty.

  261. [SPEAKER_00]: Only do not use liberty to give an opportunity, I'll say it again,

  262. [SPEAKER_00]: But by love serve one another for the entire law is fulfilled in one word even in this you shall love your neighbor as yourself and by the way, Jesus said this and Paul is repeating it, okay?

  263. [SPEAKER_00]: verse 15, but if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you are not consumed by one another.

  264. [SPEAKER_00]: Now what do we mean by that bite?

  265. [SPEAKER_00]: Because people are tacking, coming at them, not letting the love of the Lord God come through them.

  266. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a heart of the flesh, not a heart of the Spirit.

  267. [SPEAKER_00]: But we do it, don't we?

  268. [SPEAKER_00]: We get mad and we say things we shouldn't say.

  269. [SPEAKER_00]: Cut each other off, bicker.

  270. [SPEAKER_00]: We see people bicker in saying things,

  271. [SPEAKER_00]: Then there's times like, I didn't do anything wrong.

  272. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you didn't take it.

  273. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you did.

  274. [SPEAKER_00]: There's times that we could handle things differently.

  275. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's not handle it all.

  276. [SPEAKER_00]: Let God handle it.

  277. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, be quiet.

  278. [SPEAKER_00]: Pray.

  279. [SPEAKER_00]: Let the Lord God talk.

  280. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty as anyone else at times of alarm and flush.

  281. [SPEAKER_00]: And then by the way, make a skew system for it.

  282. [SPEAKER_00]: We can't make a skew system for it.

  283. [SPEAKER_00]: Let God take control.

  284. [SPEAKER_00]: We're never going to be at peace if we keep letting two hearts go at it.

  285. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to let one heart win out over the other.

  286. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that in a moment.

  287. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on now to verse 16, Paul says, I say them, walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  288. [SPEAKER_00]: We're the flesh, lust against

  289. [SPEAKER_00]: the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh.

  290. [SPEAKER_00]: These are in opposition to one another so that you may not do the things that you please.

  291. [SPEAKER_00]: See what I'm saying?

  292. [SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.

  293. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law, another way, in other words, your works, your works, you're not under your works.

  294. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the law means.

  295. [SPEAKER_00]: These people kept thinking that you got to remember, they had listened to the way, now we call Judaism.

  296. [SPEAKER_00]: They were thinking that their works were going to save them.

  297. [SPEAKER_00]: Other works can't save them, but that's what it says.

  298. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, now the works of the flesh are revealed, but it's first 19.

  299. [SPEAKER_00]: Now the works of the flesh are revealed, which are these adultery, sexual immorality.

  300. [SPEAKER_00]: That covers a lot of things, by the way.

  301. [SPEAKER_00]: Impurity, ludeness, a lot of humor was seen is ludic, a lot of the words are said constantly, our ludic, I find it very irritating,

  302. [SPEAKER_00]: that there are words that are blanked out on TV or take it out, and yet, and yet, ludeness is everywhere.

  303. [SPEAKER_00]: They will take out a word that people find offensive.

  304. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not even wrong.

  305. [SPEAKER_00]: Yet, they can say every curse word that's ever been said, or thought of, or every vulgarity, as if it's nothing.

  306. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they'll take out other things because they're afraid it's going to

  307. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's a fit.

  308. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, I digress.

  309. [SPEAKER_00]: So in that horrible, so ludeness, verse 20, idolatry that putting idols, idolatry, sorcery, folks are sorcery everywhere.

  310. [SPEAKER_00]: It's demonic, hatred, hatred is bad, folks.

  311. [SPEAKER_00]: We see hatred over political opponents,

  312. [SPEAKER_00]: people who hate our president.

  313. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no reason to hate them.

  314. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to like them, but you do have to love them.

  315. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll be honest, I don't like a lot of things that the last president did.

  316. [SPEAKER_00]: Very unbiblical things.

  317. [SPEAKER_00]: I still love President Joe Biden.

  318. [SPEAKER_00]: I love him.

  319. [SPEAKER_00]: I love him so much I pray for him.

  320. [SPEAKER_00]: Every day I even cry for him because I love him.

  321. [SPEAKER_00]: But you don't agree with them.

  322. [SPEAKER_00]: He's been used by the enemy, but we got to love these people, got to.

  323. [SPEAKER_00]: I move on.

  324. [SPEAKER_00]: So hatred, strife.

  325. [SPEAKER_00]: jealousy, rage, boy, the rage, people hurt you, judge on the highways, taking guns and plays, all customer disagrees with them, all customer makes some angry, come on now, rage, selfishness, boy, have you ever seen such a selfish time like this?

  326. [SPEAKER_00]: Golly, Bob, howdy, then dissentions, there's wars and arguments all together, Harris sees,

  327. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 21, in V, boy, I'm sure we see in V, jealousy, all these things, murderers, drunkenness, curousing and the like, well, that covered a whole lot of things that didn't, curousing and the like, I warn you as I previously warned you that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  328. [SPEAKER_00]: When the pastor is at me in the loose of mention, now he's saying these people of the world will live this way.

  329. [SPEAKER_00]: You, if I say, we cannot continue to live in those ways.

  330. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got to turn away from those things.

  331. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's only says verse 22, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,

  332. [SPEAKER_00]: against their, such, there is no law.

  333. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, the works of the old Jews, well, there is nothing on the God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit through you, and how does all those things?

  334. [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing can stop them.

  335. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are Christ have crucified the flesh and its passions and lust.

  336. [SPEAKER_00]: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

  337. [SPEAKER_00]: Let us not be conceded, provoking one another and invading one another.

  338. [SPEAKER_00]: Boy, that's powerful, in that powerful, in that beautiful, here's the thing.

  339. [SPEAKER_00]: We hurt.

  340. [SPEAKER_00]: We sometimes want to go to the flesh, but when we are tempted to do these things, this is when we need to turn away from those things, not behave like the world.

  341. [SPEAKER_00]: How can the Lord Jesus Christ use us to restore it?

  342. [SPEAKER_00]: If we're living and acting just like them, what kind of hypocrites are we?

  343. [SPEAKER_00]: If we are allowing our hearts of the flesh and not the hearts of the Spirit?

  344. [SPEAKER_00]: And yet we have to battle with it all the time because we're listening to the wrong things and not listening to the Lord God.

  345. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to go to the fruit of the Spirit and what are they love?

  346. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to love those people, not our love, but the love of the Lord God, the Agape love.

  347. [SPEAKER_00]: He's to come through us to other people.

  348. [SPEAKER_00]: But I don't like him.

  349. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't care if you like him.

  350. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not you.

  351. [SPEAKER_00]: I've got to love him.

  352. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes there's times that I'm just going to tell you the truth.

  353. [SPEAKER_00]: My mom and dad didn't like everything I said or did.

  354. [SPEAKER_00]: But you know what?

  355. [SPEAKER_00]: Fake the Lord.

  356. [SPEAKER_00]: I had a good mom and have a good mom and had a good daddy.

  357. [SPEAKER_00]: He loved me despite the fact that I was obnoxious.

  358. [SPEAKER_00]: He would come and he would love on me.

  359. [SPEAKER_00]: And something I see loving up to correct me.

  360. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.

  361. [SPEAKER_00]: He would correct me.

  362. [SPEAKER_00]: And he'd keep loving me anyway and he took care of me.

  363. [SPEAKER_00]: And my mom and Jesus care.

  364. [SPEAKER_00]: He loves me even though I'm not always lovable.

  365. [SPEAKER_00]: That's still loves me.

  366. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  367. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the way it's going to be.

  368. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the way it's got to be.

  369. [SPEAKER_00]: And you know what else the fruit of spirit is?

  370. [SPEAKER_00]: Joy.

  371. [SPEAKER_00]: Do it, do it, do it.

  372. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the pastor's hard to be joyful in this hard, hard world.

  373. [SPEAKER_00]: I know it is between the one.

  374. [SPEAKER_00]: Do it, we don't focus on this world.

  375. [SPEAKER_00]: We focus on the creator of the world.

  376. [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna have, and you have joy, joy, joy.

  377. [SPEAKER_00]: If you keep having that joy, and every time, you keep focusing on the wrong things, you're not gonna have that joy.

  378. [SPEAKER_00]: So you go back to Jesus Christ every single day, and you know what you're gonna have.

  379. [SPEAKER_00]: Joy, and they cannot take that away from you because greater season you, than usually the world, we keep saying it over and over again first John four, four, and his true.

  380. [SPEAKER_00]: And you know else it brings peace.

  381. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean you're not hurt from these things, but go back to that heart again, which heart the heart of the spirit, the heart of the spirit, what else patience?

  382. [SPEAKER_00]: Be patient with that kid who can't walk right, be patient with the world, be patient, and pray for him, constantly pray for him.

  383. [SPEAKER_00]: Be gentle, have gentleness.

  384. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that little baby I was talking about, the father has to help them walk.

  385. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going, come on, come on, come on, get to walking, right?

  386. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it takes a long time.

  387. [SPEAKER_00]: They baby doesn't wish wake-ups start walking.

  388. [SPEAKER_00]: No, you have to be patient, it has to be gentle.

  389. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to be that way with other people too.

  390. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to remember, when you're talking to other people, they may not have been raised like you.

  391. [SPEAKER_00]: Think about this, having people with a patient with you when you're annoying.

  392. [SPEAKER_00]: When you didn't know what you were talking about, you were annoying, perhaps, by the way, I'm not saying you're all annoying, saying, all of us have been annoying at some point.

  393. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe because you're not really being annoying, but maybe because that person is busy, or they're having a bad day, and all of us can be annoying at some point, and all of us have a different opinion than someone else.

  394. [SPEAKER_00]: It could just be the position

  395. [SPEAKER_00]: with the goodness of God, not yours, because you don't have it.

  396. [SPEAKER_00]: Now if that Jesus, you don't have it.

  397. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why God has to take over.

  398. [SPEAKER_00]: Had his faith, his weakness, and what is it?

  399. [SPEAKER_00]: So control.

  400. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I have so control.

  401. [SPEAKER_00]: No, you don't.

  402. [SPEAKER_00]: Now if that Jesus, you don't.

  403. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have it.

  404. [SPEAKER_00]: You'll lose it.

  405. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why it's so important, I'll just put it on.

  406. [SPEAKER_00]: One last verse in the heart of the Spirit, and that is Matthew 58.

  407. [SPEAKER_00]: Matthew, chapter 5 verse 8, this is from the Beatitudes.

    Matthew 5:8

  408. [SPEAKER_00]: But what do you say?

  409. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus said, blessed are the pure and heart, for they shall see God.

  410. [SPEAKER_00]: Be pure and heart.

  411. [SPEAKER_00]: But this doesn't mean you're 100% innocent.

  412. [SPEAKER_00]: We know that, but if you keep your eyes on God, be pure like the Lord.

  413. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm known people like that.

  414. [SPEAKER_00]: I know a lady, one of my name, Brenda Justice.

  415. [SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I love about Brandon Justice, people, I've heard people say some mean things, but here's what I love about her, always keeps her eye on God, loves the Lord God, I bought her and I bought a couple of people this, and I like to get some more folks, but they're not cheap, but I bought her wants to stuff Jesus, you know what she did with that the moment she got my mom put her name on her body, I don't know where it's at now, some person took it, I don't know, I hope it does him good though, maybe though, the love the Lord too for me, if that's what it takes, I don't know, but.

  416. [SPEAKER_00]: What I loved about is when she saw it, she hugged it, she rocked it.

  417. [SPEAKER_00]: And she said, I love my Jesus.

  418. [SPEAKER_00]: And she kept kissing on top of head like he was really there with her.

  419. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing.

  420. [SPEAKER_00]: I love about someone like that.

  421. [SPEAKER_00]: People can judge all they want, but I'll tell you.

  422. [SPEAKER_00]: Someone has a pure heart like that, a loving heart.

  423. [SPEAKER_00]: Who loves God, more than anyone.

  424. [SPEAKER_00]: We, everyone who loves the Lord should have a pure heart like that.

  425. [SPEAKER_00]: not a bad bone in her body, just beef.

  426. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a beautiful thing.

  427. [SPEAKER_00]: So we've now talked about having the heart of the flesh and the heart of the spirit.

  428. [SPEAKER_00]: And we have to battle all the time with these two things and it's very difficult.

  429. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's one last thing, and that is, when you have Christ in your spiritual heart, the one in your heart, we need to give control to him.

  430. [SPEAKER_00]: Because we already know that we can't do it on our own.

  431. [SPEAKER_00]: We've said this a few times now.

  432. [SPEAKER_00]: But if we will just give our heart over to God, he will take a troll of your heart in mind and their spirit will win.

  433. [SPEAKER_00]: And if the spirit wins, you win.

  434. [SPEAKER_00]: So oftentimes we say, yeah, but I don't want to give up this.

  435. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's where it starts becoming a control thing.

  436. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I really like this habit.

  437. [SPEAKER_00]: I really like this thing.

  438. [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't guys still love me even if I do this?

  439. [SPEAKER_00]: That's really not the point.

  440. [SPEAKER_00]: The point is, is what is your God?

  441. [SPEAKER_00]: What heart is winning out today?

  442. [SPEAKER_00]: The old, ugly heart, that's going to hurt you, by the way.

  443. [SPEAKER_00]: That's going to give you heart problems, so to speak.

  444. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm talking about the spirit.

  445. [SPEAKER_00]: That's going to give you heart problems.

  446. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to wonder why you're having so many problems.

  447. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to wonder why you're going to throw us, or are you going to let the spirit, the heart of the spirit went out?

  448. [SPEAKER_00]: When you do that and you keep following it, I'm not talking about when you fall down and talking back up and go to that heart again, God will win out.

  449. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus, take over.

  450. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's some verses for you.

  451. [SPEAKER_00]: The first one is Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5.

    Proverbs 3:5

  452. [SPEAKER_00]: You've heard this a lot, because I've quoted a lot.

  453. [SPEAKER_00]: For Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5 is the most important in the beginning.

    Proverbs 3:5

  454. [SPEAKER_00]: It says this.

  455. [SPEAKER_00]: all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

  456. [SPEAKER_00]: That is pretty much the explanation of the entire war that goes on between the two hearts.

  457. [SPEAKER_00]: To lean not to your own understanding, that's the old heart, the heart of the flesh, the old nature, and lean to the heart of the Spirit, Jesus Christ, who lives in your heart.

  458. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's not go to Romans chapter eight.

  459. [SPEAKER_00]: Now we read this last week.

  460. [SPEAKER_00]: This is 18 verses, excuse me, 17 verses.

  461. [SPEAKER_00]: Or gonna go through that.

  462. [SPEAKER_00]: And we read something like a moment ago.

  463. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, in Romans chapter eight, verse one, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

  464. [SPEAKER_00]: First of all, let me go back for a second to chapter seven.

  465. [SPEAKER_00]: It ends so then with my mind, I serve the law of God, but with my flesh, the law of sin.

  466. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is there is there for now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

  467. [SPEAKER_00]: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free

  468. [SPEAKER_00]: for what the law could not do and that it was weak through the flesh.

  469. [SPEAKER_00]: God did by sinning His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh.

  470. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, being a human, and considering, excuse me, concerning sin, he can dim sin in the flesh, and order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilling us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

  471. [SPEAKER_00]: For those who live according to the flesh set their minds of the things of the flesh,

  472. [SPEAKER_00]: but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit, to be carnally minded is death, but the Spirit-reminded is life and peace.

  473. [SPEAKER_00]: For the carnal mind is hostile to our God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be.

  474. [SPEAKER_00]: and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

  475. [SPEAKER_00]: You, however, are in, excuse me, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit.

  476. [SPEAKER_00]: If indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.

  477. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him, and if Christ is in you,

  478. [SPEAKER_00]: Though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

  479. [SPEAKER_00]: But if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit that lives in you.

  480. [SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, brothers, we are debtors not to the flesh

  481. [SPEAKER_00]: to live according to the flesh.

  482. [SPEAKER_00]: For if you live according to the flesh, you will die.

  483. [SPEAKER_00]: But if through the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body,

  484. [SPEAKER_00]: you will live.

  485. [SPEAKER_00]: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

  486. [SPEAKER_00]: For you have not received the Spirit of slavery again, Defear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by who we cry, Abba Father.

  487. [SPEAKER_00]: The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirits

  488. [SPEAKER_00]: And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, join heirs with Christ.

  489. [SPEAKER_00]: If indeed we suffer with him, that we may also, that we may also be glorified with him.

  490. [SPEAKER_00]: You have the spirit of Jesus living in you.

  491. [SPEAKER_00]: The question is, how often,

  492. [SPEAKER_00]: you listen to Jesus and how often do we listen to the flesh?

  493. [SPEAKER_00]: We all fail.

  494. [SPEAKER_00]: You already know the scripture we've said all the time for all of St. Paul's Holy Lord God.

  495. [SPEAKER_00]: There's none right to know not one.

  496. [SPEAKER_00]: That's Romans chapter 3.

    Romans 3 chapter mention

  497. [SPEAKER_00]: These things are said often because it's true.

  498. [SPEAKER_00]: A Romans has a lot to say about this.

  499. [SPEAKER_00]: We just read Romans chapter 8, or at least part of it.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  500. [SPEAKER_00]: A Romans 12 says something too.

  501. [SPEAKER_00]: A Romans 12 verse 2, and I read this a lot too.

    Romans 12:2

  502. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 12 too says this.

  503. [SPEAKER_00]: And we need to remember this about your heart.

  504. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the knowing of your mind that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  505. [SPEAKER_00]: So now that we talk about the hearts, let's talk about the mind.

  506. [SPEAKER_00]: We see that the hearts you have that we're going on, but what's everyone's going to win out is just going to control your mind and your mind to control the heart goes back and forth.

  507. [SPEAKER_00]: It's connected.

  508. [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever noticed that when you go to church and you spin your time reading the word of God and you're around other Christians, you feel good and clean and pure and I'm not talking physically necessarily, although that's nice too.

  509. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm talking about spiritually speaking.

  510. [SPEAKER_00]: You feel pure, you feel nice, you feel clean, you feel wonderful.

  511. [SPEAKER_00]: But then when you're away for a while and you spin your time here,

  512. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to say anyone particularly, but let's say worldly folks, folks who don't believe in God, people who curse all the time, filthy movies, filthy language, filthy jokes, people who mock the Lord all the time, people will talk about sexual impurities all the time, whatever it might be.

  513. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're watching something that you shouldn't, or saying something you shouldn't, or doing something you shouldn't, you feel gross.

  514. [SPEAKER_00]: You feel here's a good analogy, it's like you're on a diet.

  515. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, unfortunately, I'll go through these things.

  516. [SPEAKER_00]: You're on a diet and you feel clean and wonderful and then Thanksgiving comes.

  517. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Thanksgiving comes.

  518. [SPEAKER_00]: And you've eaten 18 pounds of pumpkin pie and other things.

  519. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you wonder why you feel gross in discussing, you know why.

  520. [SPEAKER_00]: 18 pounds of pumpkin sin.

  521. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, I'm not insulting pumpkin pie.

  522. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't mean anything about it.

  523. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm simply saying, we do this, don't we?

  524. [SPEAKER_00]: We feel our souls and our hearts, our bodies, and everything.

  525. [SPEAKER_00]: We feel our hearts and minds.

  526. [SPEAKER_00]: with things of the world, junk, and we wonder why a heart feel bad, why our mind's feel bad, why can't, if I'm not thinking of feeling like I did before, you know why, because where hearts are not the right place we got the wrong heart we're thinking with, and the wrong mind now, and I know cause I've done it.

  527. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm ashamed to say.

  528. [SPEAKER_00]: this like all of us.

  529. [SPEAKER_00]: We've all done it.

  530. [SPEAKER_00]: And if right now you're thinking on the other one who's suffering, that's what know you're not.

  531. [SPEAKER_00]: You're human.

  532. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm human.

  533. [SPEAKER_00]: But I know one thing.

  534. [SPEAKER_00]: My Lord and God save this human being.

  535. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like you did you.

  536. [SPEAKER_00]: And the next time you start feeling the two hearts fighting.

  537. [SPEAKER_00]: Listen to the Lord God and let the heart of the Spirit defeat the heart of the flesh.

  538. [SPEAKER_00]: Not because of your heart, but because of what He lives in your heart.

  539. [SPEAKER_00]: He will win.

  540. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  541. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  542. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm all worked up, but I'm gonna tell you why.

  543. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I could feel the power and the love of Jesus Christ.

  544. [SPEAKER_00]: Tell me the next time you're tempted to do those fleshly things, the next time you're tempted to let the heart of flesh went out, say no, no sir, not this time because of Jesus Christ.

  545. [SPEAKER_00]: Because once again, greatest use in me, he will win.

  546. [SPEAKER_00]: He will win.

  547. [SPEAKER_00]: He will win.

  548. [SPEAKER_00]: And if he wins, you win.

  549. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember that.

  550. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember that.

  551. [SPEAKER_00]: So Romans 12, too, do not be conforming to this word, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  552. [SPEAKER_00]: And you will know.

  553. [SPEAKER_00]: So we've read now, Romans 12.

  554. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's go to Romans 13.

  555. [SPEAKER_00]: This is when I haven't read very often, but it's good.

  556. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 13, 4, excuse me, I'm wrong.

  557. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 13, 14, Romans 13, 14.

  558. [SPEAKER_00]: I like this.

  559. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, but put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

  560. [SPEAKER_00]: I like to think of it like a suit.

  561. [SPEAKER_00]: Not necessarily on the outside, but the inside, if you put on the inside, it's gonna be on the outside too.

  562. [SPEAKER_00]: It says, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lust.

  563. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a problem.

  564. [SPEAKER_00]: So oftentimes, by the way, I'm not accusing anybody here, okay.

  565. [SPEAKER_00]: I talked about myself in the past while I was young, not just young and flash, but young and the spirit too.

  566. [SPEAKER_00]: I've come to church.

  567. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel good at church on Wednesday night on Sunday night when we had Sunday night services.

  568. [SPEAKER_00]: Sunday morning, whatever else.

  569. [SPEAKER_00]: the Saturday nights when we'd have our outreach, whatever else, I feel good.

  570. [SPEAKER_00]: Then I'd go home, I'm not a church anymore.

  571. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I can do whatever.

  572. [SPEAKER_00]: Problem with that is, my mindset was different at church than it was at home.

  573. [SPEAKER_00]: It shouldn't be that way.

  574. [SPEAKER_00]: No one's around, now I can just say, no, no, no, no, no.

  575. [SPEAKER_00]: If you have two hearts working against your mind or whatever, there's a problem and the problem is you're a heart.

  576. [SPEAKER_00]: There's your heart belong to God or not.

  577. [SPEAKER_00]: Folks, I'm talking to me.

  578. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking to me just like I'm talking to you.

  579. [SPEAKER_00]: Are the Lord's talking to you?

  580. [SPEAKER_00]: Those got to be a change.

  581. [SPEAKER_00]: We got to give one or the other, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh.

  582. [SPEAKER_00]: Make no room for it.

  583. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't think it.

  584. [SPEAKER_00]: No provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.

  585. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to remember that verse.

  586. [SPEAKER_00]: That's good.

  587. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 73 26.

  588. [SPEAKER_00]: You'll like this one.

  589. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm chapter 73 verse 26 says, My flesh in my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

    Psalms 73:26

  590. [SPEAKER_00]: So when you feel that you're failing and you will sometime, it might be tonight when you're feeling at home tired and worn out because you know when we start to in a funny

  591. [SPEAKER_00]: Not funny, I cough, but interesting.

  592. [SPEAKER_00]: Any interesting, when you start to get tired or sick, or whatever it might be, you start to feel weaker, mentally, and definitely spiritually.

  593. [SPEAKER_00]: But this is what we need to rely on Jesus, call on to Him.

  594. [SPEAKER_00]: I want you to remember something.

  595. [SPEAKER_00]: What Jesus Christ was physically weak.

  596. [SPEAKER_00]: When He was out 40 days, had eaten it all.

  597. [SPEAKER_00]: He was weak, the devil came to him, and tempted him.

  598. [SPEAKER_00]: And what did he do?

  599. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, excuse me, what did he do?

  600. [SPEAKER_00]: He went to the word, what did he do?

  601. [SPEAKER_00]: Did you sit there and lie on yourself?

  602. [SPEAKER_00]: Or did you go to the spirit?

  603. [SPEAKER_00]: He'd go to the word of God to the spirit.

  604. [SPEAKER_00]: How many times have people called me?

  605. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand this, this, this, this, this, and this, how am I supposed to grow?

  606. [SPEAKER_00]: Good word, feet on it.

  607. [SPEAKER_00]: Feed your heart with the word, build yourself up, not you, but the Lord through you, one other one and before we close.

  608. [SPEAKER_00]: Second Corinthians, five, 17.

  609. [SPEAKER_00]: Technically, two of the one, two.

  610. [SPEAKER_00]: Second Corinthians, five, 17.

  611. [SPEAKER_00]: Second Corinthians, five, 17.

  612. [SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, if any man is

  613. [SPEAKER_00]: All things have passed away and look.

  614. [SPEAKER_00]: All things have become new.

  615. [SPEAKER_00]: You're a new creation because of Jesus.

  616. [SPEAKER_00]: God can do all things.

  617. [SPEAKER_00]: He created the whole universe.

  618. [SPEAKER_00]: How can He not recreate you?

  619. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to let Him know.

  620. [SPEAKER_00]: Let Him change you inside that.

  621. [SPEAKER_00]: So the question is,

  622. [SPEAKER_00]: inside you, spears speak, you have two hearts.

  623. [SPEAKER_00]: You have one mind, but it's like that balancing act.

  624. [SPEAKER_00]: Your brain, it's left and right.

  625. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if we're gonna get to a physical sense, I'll just tell you, it's very weird.

  626. [SPEAKER_00]: Even when I'm talking about my brain surgeries, it's always kind of weird how the left controls my right and right controls my left, that's a weird thing.

  627. [SPEAKER_00]: But the balancing act is how the,

  628. [SPEAKER_00]: fleshly heart will change your mind and it affects your spiritual heart.

  629. [SPEAKER_00]: So which one's going to win now?

  630. [SPEAKER_00]: Pray about it tonight.

  631. [SPEAKER_00]: Pray about today.

  632. [SPEAKER_00]: When you start wanting to respond to people who are treating you poorly, remember to respond the way Christ wants to respond, not the way you want to.

  633. [SPEAKER_00]: This is very difficult.

  634. [SPEAKER_00]: but it's not difficult for Jesus.

  635. [SPEAKER_00]: So we need to let the one in our heart do the responding, not a person.

  636. [SPEAKER_00]: So before you respond, pray.

  637. [SPEAKER_00]: What about those who are doing this dirty?

  638. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are doing this wrong?

  639. [SPEAKER_00]: Are we gonna let them steal our joy?

  640. [SPEAKER_00]: Are we gonna let them destroy our hearts?

  641. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't let it happen.

  642. [SPEAKER_00]: Let Jesus Christ be your joy.

  643. [SPEAKER_00]: Let Jesus Christ be your heart.

  644. [SPEAKER_00]: You pray on that and I'm going to close with Psalm chapter 51, 10 through 12.

    Psalms 51 chapter mention

  645. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a song, because that's what Psalms are, but it's a song we sang many at times.

  646. [SPEAKER_00]: I know you know it.

  647. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 51 verse 10 through 12 says this.

    Psalms 51:10–12

  648. [SPEAKER_00]: So so beautifully.

  649. [SPEAKER_00]: And we need to sink to the Lord every day, especially when we feel the two hearts going

  650. [SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 51, verse 10, through 12, created me a clean heart, oh God, every new, a right spirit within me.

    Psalms 51:10

  651. [SPEAKER_00]: Do not cast me away from your presence and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.

  652. [SPEAKER_00]: Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with your willing spirit.

  653. [SPEAKER_00]: That's bound for it.

  654. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord Jesus, we come to you today,

  655. [SPEAKER_00]: Knowing there's a battle within us, each and every one of us Lord, that's just the way it is, every Christian has to fight within themselves.

  656. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a match between two hearts, the heart of the Spirit and the heart of the flesh.

  657. [SPEAKER_00]: And I pray today, Lord God, that you will take over us, take over our hearts, Lord God,

  658. [SPEAKER_00]: because when you win, we win.

  659. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray Lord God that you will make it clear to us, but we need to give up in our lives.

  660. [SPEAKER_00]: I know we all have things we battle with.

  661. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray that we will hand it over to you and never go towards it again.

  662. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever our weaknesses may be Lord Jesus, I pray that we will lift it up to you so that you will remove it from our lives.

  663. [SPEAKER_00]: There are speels of heart will win each and every day

  664. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray this in your holy and precious name, Lord Jesus.

  665. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen and amen.
