[SPEAKER_01]: Let's all now turn, excuse me, but let's all turn to a Leviticus.

[SPEAKER_01]: Leviticus is a third book in the Bible.

[SPEAKER_01]: What I like to sometimes say and got pleased for give me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I call the most boring book in the Bible.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is, in the sense that if you wanna read the,

[SPEAKER_01]: drivers guide or the rules.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is the one, but it's still important, very important.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I was reading a lot of it this week, but let's turn the Leviticus chapter 19, verse 15 through 18.

[SPEAKER_01]: And once you turn the Leviticus chapter 19, verse 15 through 18, if you could please stand on of the reading of the Lord God, we will do so.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I always hate if you go to

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, so on in the internet, it could be Facebook, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when they say, if you love Jesus, hit amen or yes or like, if you don't, you just scroll on and love the devil or some some stupid thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: They do that kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you hate that?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because what that is, is a trap.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I usually do?

[SPEAKER_01]: Scroll on.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not because I love the devil, because I don't like being trapped.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've been married before.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so let's go on.

[SPEAKER_01]: Leviticus 19, this is 19 for 15.

[SPEAKER_01]: 13 and it says this you shall do no unrighteousness in a court you shall not be partial to the poor

[SPEAKER_01]: nor honor the person who is great, but in righteousness, you shall not go around as a slander among your people, nor shall you stand by while life of your neighbor is in danger, I and the Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: You shall not hate your brother in your heart.

[SPEAKER_01]: You shall surely reason honestly with your neighbor

[SPEAKER_01]: Verse 18, you shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am the Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: God bless and I agree, it was worded you, maybe seated.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot different than what a lot people say in it.

[SPEAKER_01]: A lot different.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's a lot of that today.

[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever been done wrong?

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever been done wrong?

[SPEAKER_01]: Has anyone ever done you wrong?

[SPEAKER_01]: Has anyone ever done wrong to you?

[SPEAKER_01]: We already know they have to do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course you've been done wrong.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course people have done wrong to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone has done you dirty.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone's irritated you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone has cheated you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone has lied to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone has hurt your feelings.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course someone has irritated you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And of course someone has purposely hurt you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're human.

[SPEAKER_01]: It could very well be that in your job, someone's your KD, it could very will be a so purposely cut you off in the track being.

[SPEAKER_01]: It could very well be that they purpose and isn't it the case that sometimes when we're driving or when we're talking or when we're online, we think that they got it for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: We think they're doing it all purpose to give me sometimes they are.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the whole world doesn't have all around us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Even though we send my

[SPEAKER_01]: We think the whole world doesn't have to get me and depends on what happened that day or how you're thinking you wake up.

[SPEAKER_01]: My mom and dad used to have this statement that said, you're thinking, you hook up on the wrong side of the bed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know what the right side of the wrong side is, but I do know this, I think all of us have at some point or another.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll hook up on the wrong side of the bed.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we think the whole world's out to get us, but here's the other question we don't like to think of this way, but it's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just like we have to ask questions, have you ever been done wrong by someone?

[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever done wrong to anyone else?

[SPEAKER_01]: In their mind, I'm sure you have.

[SPEAKER_01]: Rather, it's true or not.

[SPEAKER_01]: And by that, I mean, intentionally, may have intentionally done wrong with someone if you ever lied to them.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you ever stole them from them, have you ever treated them mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a hard answer.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard answer.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because you may have to, if you're honest with yourself, you're not having to answer yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, maybe you were answering the truth, and that was mean to them.

[SPEAKER_01]: It could very well be that you're purposely cruel as you said a mean answer because you're upset and you want to hurt their feelings.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not just talking about when you're kid, we adults are a lot of times, by the way, children but older age.

[SPEAKER_01]: I say it a lot in the hurt she was feeling to, I don't mean to, but I'll be treated with you.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's honest.

[SPEAKER_01]: You are just a child of an older age.

[SPEAKER_01]: When you're 40, you're not that much different than 40, you're able to give more experience.

[SPEAKER_01]: And by that, I just mean you got an older body.

[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of times we are emotional still.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and then, but we sometimes have done wrong for people.

[SPEAKER_01]: But what the big word in the big answer in this is that we look for is forgiveness.

[SPEAKER_01]: When someone has done us wrong, are we done someone else wrong?

[SPEAKER_01]: We need forgiveness.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't know about the rest y'all, but a lot of times I go to my mom and my dad.

[SPEAKER_01]: If I done wrong, and I could tell they were disappointed in me, and maybe I got a spank, maybe I didn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: but I know that if I had done wrong, I would need forgiveness.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel right until they told me I was.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel right until I got a hug.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel right until they said I love you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Till they said, yes, what you did was wrong, but I still love you.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we feel about the Lord God sometimes, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that what you need?

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes that big, maybe you're not like me, but you need that emotional spirit to hug.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you need that?

[SPEAKER_01]: You know that it's all okay, even when what you did isn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you need that?

[SPEAKER_01]: I think you do.

[SPEAKER_01]: So forgiveness equals peace.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forgiveness and forget, maybe you've heard that a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forgiveness, forget it, they say.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forgiveness, forget, well, what does it mean to forgive and forget?

[SPEAKER_01]: The title today's sermons forgive them, period.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forget, what's tomorrow?

[SPEAKER_01]: Is that me?

[SPEAKER_01]: Forget.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's talk about that, because maybe you've been told that if you haven't forgotten, you didn't really forgive and we'll get to that in a moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: You probably heard that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have, but we'll talk about that in a moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: So first, let's talk about forgiveness.

[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, we need to know this.

[SPEAKER_01]: We have received forgiveness from the Lord Jesus from God Himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about Old Testament versus the New Testament.

[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, Old Testament versus Jesus.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, is Old Testament erased like it doesn't matter anymore?

[SPEAKER_01]: No!

[SPEAKER_01]: The New Testament is fulfillment of the Old Testament.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you know this, that told you a million times maybe not that much, but...

[SPEAKER_01]: a little less.

[SPEAKER_01]: I still would write it down if I was you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And as this, the old testament had 613 laws, biblical laws that are oftentimes misunderstood or misused, maybe intentionally.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: But how do you remember the amount of laws?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I forget sometimes.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was only say 614 because they would add some things.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it's 613, this I remember.

[SPEAKER_01]: The number six, as you know, the number six, sometimes people will take that with the six and the six and the six and the six and the six and they call it the mark of the beast.

[SPEAKER_01]: So you take the number six, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: You remember that?

[SPEAKER_01]: 13, they call that the unlucky number, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: So you got those two together.

[SPEAKER_01]: 613, all right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's 613.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's how many biblical laws they're worth.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, there are three types of laws, three types of laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: You had the moral laws, we've talked about that before, the moral laws, what does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Moral laws, we'll get that to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: You have the moral laws, you have the ceremonial laws, and you have the judicial laws, those three types.

[SPEAKER_01]: Moral, ceremonial, and judicial.

[SPEAKER_01]: The moral laws were the eternal universal laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: Those still count, they'll always count.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's the Tink of Mammots.

[SPEAKER_01]: That covers all your eternal universal laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, as I said before, many of these laws are misinterested and taught, and I did Jesus fulfilled them, well, he followed them, but he did not erase them.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're still counting.

[SPEAKER_01]: People are like, oh, we don't need to remember the Sabbath day, keep holy.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we do.

[SPEAKER_01]: We still have a day of celebration.

[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean that if you sneeze on the Sabbath day and wipe your nose, that's work, and you're going to hell.

[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't mean that.

[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't mean if you don't follow it, you're going to go to hell, doesn't mean that.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get that in a moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: But these are actions that we should follow because this shows our holiness.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that in a moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ceremonial laws, ceremonial laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are religious laws, customs, things that they did to show that they were the children of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a whole slew that won't go into them.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm many of them were that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And those were fulfilled by Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: They no longer count.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wacked away.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you can't eat pork.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they said in the Old Testament for reasons.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you have to be circumcised.

[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be this or you were not a child.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you have to be this.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm talking about the men now.

[SPEAKER_01]: All these are the things, of course.

[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing, that doesn't matter anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, these actions don't count as your salvation.

[SPEAKER_01]: Your salvation is not by actions, but by the actions of one, which is Christ, the Messiah.

[SPEAKER_01]: They would give the spiritual Lamb all these things.

[SPEAKER_01]: The ceremonial laws, religious laws,

[SPEAKER_01]: But they don't want count of what saves you, because by the way, they broke a few of them themselves.

[SPEAKER_01]: Quite often, if they wanted you, or since they do that too, sometimes they want, oh, we shouldn't lie, but then they lie.

[SPEAKER_01]: Some, oh, we shouldn't hate our neighbor, but then they shouldn't let's hate the neighbors.

[SPEAKER_01]: See, that's why our accent's are never good enough to save us.

[SPEAKER_01]: But Jesus fulfill the ceremonial laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then this judicial laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean judicial laws?

[SPEAKER_01]: Legal laws, civil laws, law of the land.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's why a lot of times call the civil law of the land.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: I love times you to speed limit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's right here in front of the church and it's 25 miles an hour, and I hate it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I come down 35 miles an hour down that hill.

[SPEAKER_01]: Bear to move it, and not because the cop is down here.

[SPEAKER_01]: All of the stuff I say are.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the reason, and I've had people try to get me to get rid of them, I'm not gonna do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: They've protected our place, I love them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not just because my brother chief police, but because that's the law, and we're to follow the law of the land.

[SPEAKER_01]: If the law of the land is to pay your taxes on April 15th, we need to do so.

[SPEAKER_01]: We need to do so.

[SPEAKER_01]: We need to follow the law of the land.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's important.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's still countable, too.

[SPEAKER_01]: Some people say, well, just to fill the law, that doesn't mean you go 85 on 25 mile an hour.

[SPEAKER_01]: You fulfill the fulfillment as a ceremonial laws.

[SPEAKER_01]: of spiritual things, not the other.

[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the question.

[SPEAKER_01]: As I said, some of these are mistaught.

[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus came fulfill the ceremonial laws with the other still count.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let's now turn to Mark 11, point 2 through 26.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mark 11, 22, 26.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we know the gossles.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk more about that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Gene, the gossles, and the importance they are of.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mark 11, 22, 22, 26.

[SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mark 11, 22, 26.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we will hear somebody's more than once.

[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus answered them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now this is people, the disciples, how about the fig tree?

[SPEAKER_01]: He just cursed the fig tree.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Jesus answered them.

[SPEAKER_01]: He cursed it, and they didn't see it till a couple of days later.

[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus answered them, have faith in God.

[SPEAKER_01]: For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be thrown into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass,

[SPEAKER_01]: He will have whatever he says.

[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, I said to you, that gets misused by the way.

[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, I said to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them, again, that gets misused.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not your will, but God's will, okay?

[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you will have them.

[SPEAKER_01]: And when you stand praying for praying,

[SPEAKER_01]: If you have anything against anyone so that your father who's in heaven may also forgive your sins.

[SPEAKER_01]: But if you do not forgive, neither will your father who's in heaven forgive your sins.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, what does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: That's a strange thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say that verse again, those two verses to give.

[SPEAKER_01]: It says, and when you stand praying for give, if you have anything gifts to anyone, so that your father who's in heaven may also forgive you, your sins, but if you do not forgive, neither will your father who's in heaven forgive your sins.

[SPEAKER_01]: Some people tease that means if you don't forgive someone who you're upset at, you're not going to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is that what it means?

[SPEAKER_01]: Is that what it means?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because isn't that an action forgiving?

[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that an action?

[SPEAKER_01]: What does it mean, pastor, what don't worry?

[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get to that, but just not yet.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's not go to this question.

[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, when wrong is done?

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to when wrong is done.

[SPEAKER_01]: We already said it and we know it's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: We've all have wrong done to us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if you've had your feelings hurt, maybe someone's lied to you what we all know that's happening.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody has emotions, everybody's emotions get hurt.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it's something good's going on.

[SPEAKER_01]: But our feelings get hurt because we don't know, we don't understand.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe your mama, your daddy, when your real little says, hey, come on in here now, and they're kind of playing with you, but you don't know, and you think you're in trouble.

[SPEAKER_01]: But what it really is they have a surprise for you, and you don't know what you are.

[SPEAKER_01]: God's that way too.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has something great for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, he's not gonna fabricate.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's not gonna lie.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you want to say, come on in, you're like, I don't know what it is, so you're afraid, because you don't know what it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: But what you need to be calm and trust the Lord God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Know you're probably dead.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to do anything.

[SPEAKER_01]: Two years going to necessarily hurt you.

[SPEAKER_01]: They love you.

[SPEAKER_01]: They love you more than they love themselves.

[SPEAKER_01]: However,

[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean that if you've done wrong, maybe that's why you're nervous because you've done something secretly wrong.

[SPEAKER_01]: My mom and dad used to say, my mom used to tease me a lot, believe it or not.

[SPEAKER_01]: But she used to say to me, she used to say to me, hey, I know what you did.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, what I used to think, oh anybody, I didn't do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the thing, I was given, I'm not a poker player.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say, wait a minute, they're like, I didn't steal that piece of cake or whatever it is, you know, I'm just making this up.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the thing is, I give way to go away.

[SPEAKER_01]: I never said what I said, that I knew what you did.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I give my whole story away.

[SPEAKER_01]: I would be like, wait a minute, what I stole that, I did it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And see, that's the point.

[SPEAKER_01]: That a lot of times, we assume we know what's going on when we go.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we just give our whole thing away, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Then in there, God, a lot of times calls us and we just assume we know the whole story, what we don't, God does we don't?

[SPEAKER_01]: Just trust in Him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just trust in Him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Trust in Him.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when we've done wrong, or wrong is done to us, the fact is we've all done wrong.

[SPEAKER_01]: Every single one of us.

[SPEAKER_01]: You already know the scripture.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even need to say it, but I will anyway.

[SPEAKER_01]: For all of sin, if I'll show the glory of God,

[SPEAKER_01]: There's none or I just know not one, Roast 310.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I say this a lot?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, first of all, I say it online constantly.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because there are people who say, well, I may not be perfect, I say that, you're not.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's no may to it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care what month it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's no may to it.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're not perfect.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're very imperfect.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't say that to a person like, well, you're so imperfect, no.

[SPEAKER_01]: I say it because there's a question.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're all in perfect, and I say that simply because the perfect one died on the cross because you're not perfect, and that's because of his love towards you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not because of non-move, it's not the point of imperfection that you may have done, because I know you have done something that's not perfect, whether it be lying, cheating, stealing whatever it might be, maybe someone's been so wrong to you that hurts you for instead of this very day.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why did I go home?

[SPEAKER_01]: Some smacked me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm so sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: That happened.

[SPEAKER_01]: You don't really have.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I've had a lot of things done wrong to me too, but let's say this, we've all done wrong and we've all had wrong done to us.

[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you a long list, a dirty laundry list here.

[SPEAKER_01]: And here it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: We've all had wrong done to us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we've been stolen from, I have.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you had your heart broken, I have.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna do that about everything, okay?

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you had your feelings hurt.

[SPEAKER_01]: We know you're lying.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've had love losses.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've lost love ones and more.

[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, I think every single one that was on our long list of feeling laundry lists.

[SPEAKER_01]: We can put all of us and more.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've done these things yourself.

[SPEAKER_01]: You broke us someone's heart.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what's really hard about being so handsome might me.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what's hard about being so hanged by glam joking okay, but you know what it's so hard about being such a handsome man You're break hearts everywhere you go.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm joking, but in reality in reality Everybody heard someone's feelings.

[SPEAKER_01]: I had a girl one time we liked me.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like her back.

[SPEAKER_01]: I dated her for a short time and her feelings was very very hurt because I didn't feel the same way

[SPEAKER_01]: And I felt bad about that, but what I supposed to do is settle.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I say settle, and not because I'm saying on a handsome man, I have nothing to do with that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't settle this for someone else's feelings.

[SPEAKER_01]: Feelings come and go, like the wind.

[SPEAKER_01]: The point is this, everybody hurts somebody.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody does wrong.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've stolen.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've never stolen my life.

[SPEAKER_01]: Folks, we've all at some point, I'm done something we shouldn't have.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you have stolen maybe accidentally.

[SPEAKER_01]: I accidentally stole one time.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it was accidental.

[SPEAKER_01]: I paid for, I think it was five, this a long time, but 1992, I accidentally stole a package of Batman Returns cards.

[SPEAKER_01]: I remember this very well because I got home, I paid for five, got home and I had six.

[SPEAKER_01]: So how about that happening?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, guess what I did?

[SPEAKER_01]: I threw him away.

[SPEAKER_01]: I went back.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why am I conscious when we're allowing you to get away with it?

[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't guess the whole spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Couldn't do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So your full full of emails was keepin' all I didn't do that, couldn't do it, couldn't get away with it.

[SPEAKER_01]: The point is, is that we've all done wrong, and we've all had wrong done to us.

[SPEAKER_01]: But let's not read Matthew.

[SPEAKER_01]: Chapter 18, 15 through 22.

[SPEAKER_01]: Matthew, this is a big one, and it goes on with something that a mother mentioned while ago.

[SPEAKER_01]: This all was read, part of it at least, was read last week.

[SPEAKER_01]: There are two verses that we read last week, two or three, we read last week.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I realized I didn't read the whole thing, but it should, because it's hard just to go through partners.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Matthew chapter 18 verse 15 through 22 says this.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you listen to you, you have gained your brother, but if he does not listen, then take with you one or two others.

[SPEAKER_01]: that by the testimony of two are three witnesses, every word may be established.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna just say to you, two or three witnesses in a quarter of law is valid.

[SPEAKER_01]: I say this to you to tell you what people say that they don't believe Jesus existed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Over 500 people saw him risen from the dead.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's not two or three.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's over 500.

[SPEAKER_01]: It goes on to say this for 17th.

[SPEAKER_01]: If, this is where it's talked about two or three witnesses, everywhere may be established.

[SPEAKER_01]: Never worth proving known.

[SPEAKER_01]: If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church.

[SPEAKER_01]: But if he refuses to listen, even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Someone who's not Jewish?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, remember, you talk to the Jewish people.

[SPEAKER_01]: Gentiles were thought of poorly.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he's talking to them in languages they could understand.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let him be like those who don't belong here.

[SPEAKER_01]: A tax collector was hated because they were together with the Romans.

[SPEAKER_01]: They were thought of as, let him be as people who you don't like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, you can pick whoever a raiders player.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who are it is that you don't like?

[SPEAKER_01]: Let him be as those people who play for the raiders.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, whoever it is that you don't like.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying that that's what you did earlier when you say two or three.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who the three are gathered in the name of Christ?

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's also by the will of Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because anybody can say, well, I've heard that name of Christ is our go to Rob the store.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're already out because you can say you're there in the name of Jesus.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when you're out of God's will and you're saying something that's not godly and you're going against the word of God, you're already out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Meaning you can say you're doing stuff in the name of Jesus.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, you are.

[SPEAKER_01]: There are people in the Bible who did that, you know.

[SPEAKER_01]: They said they're doing stuff in the name of the Lord God.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Pharisees being won.

[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't.

[SPEAKER_01]: They were going to guess exactly what he said.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to go on from there.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's weird for where two or three are a simple and line name.

[SPEAKER_01]: There I am in their midst.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then what this what it says.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then Peter, verse one, one, then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall I forgive my brother who sins against me up to seven times?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why did you say that?

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that in a minute.

[SPEAKER_01]: Up to seven times, Jesus said to him, I do not say you say to you up to seven times.

[SPEAKER_01]: But up to 70 times seven, now I'm gonna stop there.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: What does it mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's go on from that.

[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about when wrong has done to us, but now it's time to talk about something else for giving them.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does it mean to forget?

[SPEAKER_01]: What does it mean to forgive?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why did he say seven times?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's good thought of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: People have asked this many times.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why seven times?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you mean that?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, in Amis, Amis chapter one, by the way.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not forget seven is the number that equals perfection.

[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe it's what he thought.

[SPEAKER_01]: They have the perfect number.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what Jesus said.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did he say seven, seven times?

[SPEAKER_01]: because let's just be honest, like people don't know the word.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it says, is he 7 plus 70?

[SPEAKER_01]: No.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says 70 times 7.

[SPEAKER_01]: That means 70 plus a 7.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not 77 times.

[SPEAKER_01]: He said 70 times 7.

[SPEAKER_01]: That means 490 times.

[SPEAKER_01]: 490 times.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is that mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: If your neighbor makes you mad 490 times on the 490 first time, just say, get out, I'm mad at you.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to shoot it now because I don't have to forgive you anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what Jesus is saying.

[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean you're supposed to take count.

[SPEAKER_01]: When I was young, I kept thinking,

[SPEAKER_01]: which is true, he does.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I thought to myself, God must really love me because I forgive people.

[SPEAKER_01]: Which is arrogant in his own discussion.

[SPEAKER_01]: But in reality, I didn't mean to be that way, but that's what it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: But God does wants to forgive people.

[SPEAKER_01]: But He also does want to be a sucker.

[SPEAKER_01]: That means he doesn't want you to forgive and just set there and let someone keep punching you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But some people tell you to do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're wanting to use you.

[SPEAKER_01]: I had that in school.

[SPEAKER_01]: Men with punch, we go, it's just forgive.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come back, put, put, put, put, put.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, there's one to be punching back.

[SPEAKER_01]: You want to see if forgive, but move, move on.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's one to stand in middle of intersection and say, well, I forgive you for hitting me with a car.

[SPEAKER_01]: But keep on hitting me.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.

[SPEAKER_01]: You have to rise.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why is it you're living?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why is?

[SPEAKER_01]: Very, why.

[SPEAKER_01]: For giving is very important.

[SPEAKER_01]: We need to forgive others.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's vital in our life.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's what is on your heart, it's important.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's important news, but we need to forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's very important to forgive others.

[SPEAKER_01]: and a vital, very important.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see what says in Ephesians chapter 4, 26 or 27.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's by the way, this is what my Bible comes from.

[SPEAKER_01]: It says, be angry and say not.

[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, be angry but do not sin.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do not let the sun go down on your anger.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know why it's important?

[SPEAKER_01]: Not let the sun go down on your anger because if you let that anger plant into you, plant it in you, it will grow.

[SPEAKER_01]: The rain will go down on your tears, your frustration, and it's gonna grow like a plant.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the anger is gonna get more and more strong.

[SPEAKER_01]: We've, I don't know why or how it happened,

[SPEAKER_01]: weeds have grown up down here and they're like little trees now.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to have to probably pay professional kind of cut them down.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because we let those weeds grow and they're strong.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's what happens to your anger.

[SPEAKER_01]: When you allow your anger to get stronger, it becomes hatred.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hatred becomes strife strife.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to hold them.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not worth it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: You start letting those things become hatred and it will become something you can't get rid of.

[SPEAKER_01]: All because you didn't get rid of before you went to sleep.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then what does that mean literal maybe, but what it really means is don't let it go down and come up part of your brain get rid of it now you rid of it it's not that important every day isn't

[SPEAKER_01]: So it says, be angry and do not sin.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do not let the sun go down in your anger.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do not give place to the devil.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's him who's planting it.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's him who wants to get between you and the Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's talking about losing salvation.

[SPEAKER_01]: No.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about losing salvation.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about losing a connection to Christ because you're allowing your flesh to have more place than your spiritual relationship with Jesus.

[SPEAKER_01]: And let's say it's in 31, let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and blasphemies with all malice be taken away from you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we kind want to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, just as God and Christ also forgave you.

[SPEAKER_01]: When I hear the word wrath, first time I ever heard that was when I sold my wrath upon.

[SPEAKER_01]: That was our heard about it before I ever saw it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that was a Star Trek film, which is based off of Mobile Day.

[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, my favorite two Star Trek films are based off of Mobile Day.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when I first saw Mobile Day, what's our worst three times this year?

[SPEAKER_01]: I watched three different versions of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Captain Ehab was full of hatred and strife and turned away from God, they said, and he was so full of hatred, he hated the whale in that film and in that story.

[SPEAKER_01]: And why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because the whale, once I went, he was hunting it, the whale, the big white whale, they call it.

[SPEAKER_01]: He took...

[SPEAKER_01]: his leg and he was so full of hatred and strife.

[SPEAKER_01]: He spent his whole life going after that well until finally it took his life at the end from Hell's Heart I stabbed me for hasty because I spent my last breath at the end and that is the last word he said.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the worst thing that was the whole ship except one man

[SPEAKER_01]: The whole ship went down with the killing that people around because they became full of strife with it too.

[SPEAKER_01]: And my point is, even as a Christian, if we don't forgive and get rid of these things, it will tear you up, it will tell your family, it will tear people in your life up, and there are other people too, all because you didn't let go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Colossians 3, 12 through 14.

[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things he said that I loved so much, he says, it wasn't nails that put Jesus on the cross.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was so true.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was love that nailed him to the cross.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's love for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's love for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's love for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: He was nailed by love.

[SPEAKER_01]: What was one of the last words he said?

[SPEAKER_01]: Father God forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Father God forgive them for they know what they do.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are horrible human beings, saying horrible bless to him, his things to him.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he still wouldn't forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's why he died, because he wanted you to be forgiven.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, even you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you don't know how bad I am.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to know how bad you're.

[SPEAKER_01]: I God knows all the things you've done.

[SPEAKER_01]: All things you're doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: He still loves you and what you've been forgiven.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you at home, right now you may have just done something horrible bad.

[SPEAKER_01]: You may be watching this three or four years after I've said it, but it's not a ice Christ, and he wants you to be forgiven, he loves you despite the fact that you don't deserve it, and you don't, and either don't lie.

[SPEAKER_01]: But he forgave me, and he wants to forgive you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Romans 12, 17 through 21.

[SPEAKER_01]: Romans 12, 17 through 21, repayed no evil for evil, commend what is honest in the sight of all men.

[SPEAKER_01]: If it is possible, and this is Paul speaking, as it is possible as much as it depends on you live peaceably with all men.

[SPEAKER_01]: Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God's wrath for it is written.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will repay, says the Lord, therefore, if your enemy is hungry feed him, if he is thirsty, give them a drink, for in doing so you will keep coals a fire on his head, by the way.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we want God's love to be felt.

[SPEAKER_01]: give you certain suggestions, fingers, suggestions on the highway.

[SPEAKER_01]: When they say bad words to you and you can see it and bullet people misuse those words.

[SPEAKER_01]: They use it all the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: He was even there when John was when they're John's old Jesus on the cross.

[SPEAKER_01]: He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, once you think about this, we can go to Christ to forgive us.

[SPEAKER_01]: But we can't forgive ourselves.

[SPEAKER_01]: We can't forgive ourselves.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you better than Christ?

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you better than the Messiah?

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you better than the Lord God created all things?

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on now, you got to think that through.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you don't understand, Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't understand, Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't let go of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will read Luke 637, judge not, let's Luke 637, judge not and you shall not be judged.

[SPEAKER_01]: Condemn not and you will not be condemned, forgive and you shall be forgiven.

[SPEAKER_01]: Matthew 6, 12 through 15, it also says this, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's part of the prayer.

[SPEAKER_01]: Never the prayer, the Jesus taught us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

[SPEAKER_01]: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil for yours as the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, amen.

[SPEAKER_01]: They guess what it says.

[SPEAKER_01]: Verse 14 and 15, guess what it says then?

[SPEAKER_01]: For if you forgive men for their sins, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But if you do not forgive men for their sins, neither will your Father forgive your sins.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now what does this really mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: This means if you've not forgiven,

[SPEAKER_01]: your best friend or your cousin or your neighbor, the person at work who did something bad.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say just somehow that a boss at your workplace, I don't know, stole it as a stapender, and that you'll never gonna get it back.

[SPEAKER_01]: And they put you down instead of your office, you had they put you down in storage room, and they do terrible things.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's horrible.

[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean that you need to take vengeance and burn the place down.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, what that means is that God will take care of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: God will take care of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That means you need to forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't forgive them, does that mean God's not gonna save you?

[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not what it means.

[SPEAKER_01]: What it means is when you're saved and God comes into your heart, it means that God takes over your heart.

[SPEAKER_01]: And why you need to forgive others.

[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't mean you earn your forgiveness.

[SPEAKER_01]: You see, we talked about before, but Paul, Paul, who wrote Romans for St. Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, for St. Thessalonians, Titus, Philippine, maybe Hebrews, Paul, who wrote those books, he was a man who needed to be changed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Paul's name was Saul, Saul Tarsis.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you think I'm not changeable, yes you are, but you have to let him.

[SPEAKER_01]: and you can be forgiven.

[SPEAKER_01]: You've been forgiven of your sins, but you need to forgive others and you need to forgive yourself and you need to be changed.

[SPEAKER_01]: But then you need to forget.

[SPEAKER_01]: But what does forget really mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: What does forget really mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Physically forget?

[SPEAKER_01]: Physically forget, no.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't forgotten, then you haven't forgiven.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I always brought my doofy head out to say that, because it's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: God, what do I do?

[SPEAKER_01]: And God's going to save you.

[SPEAKER_01]: You've already apologize as you meant it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But they have a stronghold against them, which means that they have a rock against them.

[SPEAKER_01]: They cannot let that go.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's their fault.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not yours.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let it go.

[SPEAKER_01]: If they can't let that go, they're enjoying it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's a problem.

[SPEAKER_01]: Some judges are harder than others.

[SPEAKER_01]: I understand.

[SPEAKER_01]: But God forgets, this guy forgets, I was supposed to be that Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't God forget?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: God forgets our sins.

[SPEAKER_01]: He walks the way clean.

[SPEAKER_01]: But still, when you ask our sins, I ask the way clean, don't we still have repercussions?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, not in heaven.

[SPEAKER_01]: You'll have eternal life, but you're still repercussions for your sins here on earth.

[SPEAKER_01]: For instance, if I sped through here nine to miles an hour, not gonna happen.

[SPEAKER_01]: If I sped through here 90 miles an hour, and I got tickets, I said, but I asked Jesus in my heart just two seconds later, I shouldn't get a ticket, Jesus for gaming, why can't you, what would Jesus do?

[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what that officer's gonna say to me, he said, he would say asked her fellow parents, Jesus gave you a ticket.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's what you say, you know why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because what we do here on earth affects us.

[SPEAKER_01]: We have repercussions, and that's what we would need.

[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, I will tell you everywhere to look it up, but God does forget the sins and Isaiah 4325.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Hebrews 8, 12, and Hebrews 10, 17, and Hebrews 1, 9, but we're not gonna read all that.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're just simply gonna say that God says that He forgets the sins of life so the way.

[SPEAKER_01]: But Jesus said this in Luke 9, 62.

[SPEAKER_01]: No one who puts his hand before the plow and looks back at things is fit for the kingdom of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, don't go back living like you should in the ways of sin.

[SPEAKER_01]: The guy was asking him if he could follow him being a disciple and the guy who was wealthy wanted to go back and live like he did.

[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't really right in his heart.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, if you truly, if you truly forgotten those things, in other words, not holding a bridge, let it go.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you really want to look for the Lord God, let it go, because it will hold you back from the stronghold.

[SPEAKER_01]: You will be a stronghold, keep me from growing in the Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you gotta forget, but no, you can't physically forget.

[SPEAKER_01]: You can't physically forget, but you can spiritually forget, amen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it's hard for some of the others.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's really hard.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard when your tile goes through it.

[SPEAKER_01]: that's hard, but you can do so.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to read it to you right now, but James, chapter one, James chapter one, it says all sorts of wonderful things and one thing that it says verse 24 through 25 it says, he views himself and goes always talking about a person,

[SPEAKER_01]: who walks away, looks in the mirror, and all that says, he views himself and goes his way, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was, time someone's getting right with God.

[SPEAKER_01]: So forgets what kind of man he was, but whoever looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful here, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in his deeds.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're not to forget everything, but to continue to go back to God.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I say this to you, forgiveness is important.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's vital for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: God forgives, you must also forgive.

[SPEAKER_01]: Forgetting means not to hold a grudge.

[SPEAKER_01]: No grudge, hold no grudge.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's really a lot of times when people hold a grudge, they're not holding a grudge, the grudge is holding them.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it does.

[SPEAKER_01]: They cheated on me, they got me fired.

[SPEAKER_01]: They cursed in my face.

[SPEAKER_01]: They gave me a suggestion and made fun of my mother.

[SPEAKER_01]: We made fun of my grandmother.

[SPEAKER_01]: They physically hit me in the face.

[SPEAKER_01]: It says in the horrible about my favorite football team, they said, it's an horrible about you, Pastor.

[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I do, but let me just tell you this.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've had all those things done.

[SPEAKER_01]: To me personally, I was angry and wanted to do things sometimes I gave in and allowed myself to say things that should have said.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when God takes over forgiveness, forgetfulness, and all these things are possible because greatest use in me, for example, for.

[SPEAKER_01]: greatest use in me, the use of the world.

[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever you do, forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't forget them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Love them as God does, as God does through you

[SPEAKER_01]: And we will close with Proverbs, chapter 17, verse 9.

Proverbs 17:9

[SPEAKER_01]: And remember that, as someone has done you wrong, our continued to do you wrong, forgive them, but don't forget them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pray for them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Remember those moments, I said they had helped you grow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not something to hold onto, they'll keep you from growing.

[SPEAKER_01]: But that wouldn't be good.

[SPEAKER_01]: that would be good at all.

[SPEAKER_01]: Proverbs 17 verse 9, he who covers a transgression was means an offense.

Proverbs 17:9

[SPEAKER_01]: That means an offense.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what transgression means an offense.

[SPEAKER_01]: He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter, separate friends, separate friends.

[SPEAKER_01]: And there's no need for it.

[SPEAKER_01]: God will help you in your daily life.

[SPEAKER_01]: But walk is way.

[SPEAKER_01]: You will help you to forgive people, and you'll help you to forget and such a way that your life will be more beautiful now than it was yesterday, more beautiful tomorrow than it is today, and blessings will be all around.

[SPEAKER_01]: We pray for those who have been done so wrong in the past that they have a hard time letting go.

[SPEAKER_01]: I pray you'll help us to forgive them.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Lord, if there be anyone right now who has a problem against us, each and every one of us, we know we have problems with people.

[SPEAKER_01]: I pray, and Lord, do you know that?

[SPEAKER_01]: You knew that before we were even more, because we're human.

[SPEAKER_01]: I pray you'll help us to forgive others, and that they will forgive us.

[SPEAKER_01]: I pray there be peace more importantly, not because of us and how we feel, but because we want people to see you and us, and we want people to come to know you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I pray, Lord God, for their relationship with you more than our, their relationship with us.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I pray Lord God, we be the greatest, one most wonderful representation of you in your word, the gospel, than anything else.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Lord God, I pray for your will on our lives and your will only.
