[SPEAKER_00]: Let's all now turn to the book of Isaiah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Chapter 52 verse 7.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Boys, they are a good book.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All sorts of prophecies, all sorts of wonderful things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And once you turn to Isaiah 52 verse 7, if you could please stand on the reading of God's Word.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it says in Isaiah 52 verse 7, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings good news of happiness, who proclaim salvation, who says to Zion your God reigns.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God bless and honor their reading of his word and you may be seated.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sunday, May 26th, Memorial Day Weekend, of 1996, it was 30 years ago this last Memorial Day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't talk about then because I was waiting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: 30 years ago was the first day and it's here church building.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The Lord God has spoken to me in a dream in 1993 about this building, and had given it to me, and I spoke to my father about it in 1994, because I had never really realized this building existed, but my father would, I guess it was in 1993, but I don't think so.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But it was on my way home from work, I worked at McDonald's, it was a different building, then too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Same place, but different building.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Either way, I was on my way home that day, and I
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I noticed when he was taking me home, I noticed this building here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I asked him how long he had been here and he told me, oh, I don't know, he said, six, seven years, maybe more.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I told him, I had a dream that would be our church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That was our church, and he said, well, that has to be of God, because I can't see that happening.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was just a couple years later, and it was because it was guy, it wasn't fell up, and it wasn't Fred, my father, Robert Freder Kunz, it wasn't that, it was the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the Lord tells people things sometimes, and so what happened?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that happened, and then
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I will go in all that right now, but in the middle of June of 1996 is the middle of June.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know the exact date It was the Thursday.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I do remember that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was working in a place called regal plastic and it's still there in North Kansas And I plan on visiting it this month.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't done it just yet Because I want to buy something there when I go and I want to go and see if they'll allow me to go back there and get my picture and exact place if they'll let me
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But I was working there 30 years ago, what's hard to believe 30 years ago seems like that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, at a funny, when your kid it seems like three years is forever.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know you who are young right now says, oh, three years is a long time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You just wait.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In two seconds, three years is going to seem like three seconds.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you'll see.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You'll see.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But boy, I mean, when I was your age, people tell me that I think they are nuts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was 30 years ago, and it was impossible.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was that Thursday, and I was listening to Pastor Tony Evans, you all know Pastor Tony.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was still with this, I love him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was, had listened to him, and I remember he would
-
[SPEAKER_00]: preach every day about one 30 and I was listening to him and as I was listening to Pastor Tony Evans he got done preaching and I just got done listening and I was 19 at the time almost 20 but I was 19 and I remember thinking I don't know what I'm going to do with my life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that we were going to regal plastic wasn't going to be the deal but I didn't know I had no idea that I'm not even a much time I wouldn't be working there only God knew but here's the thing about that
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God knew what I was going to do and I didn't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember saying a prayer to God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, Lord God, I need to know the plans that you have for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I need to know what you have planned for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I asked him what he had planned for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting too old, not to know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know it sounds stupid.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But that was the prayer that I had to God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I need to know what you have planned for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting too old for this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Ha ha ha.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, suddenly a brother and Christ spoke out to me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: His name was Arthur Rampful, and I loved Arthur Rampful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where he's at, he may not be with us anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea, I loved him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Love him dearly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was from a place called Britskiyano.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I would want to say, well, I like to, maybe you can say imitate or whatever, but emulate.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But the fact is, I love accents.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: people thought I was mocking.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't mocking.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I loved his accent.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He thought like this and I loved him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was great.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But he suddenly, as I'm working, and I prayed to know, Arthur Rampful, you had a past the Philip Concealed out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I stopped what I was doing, by the way, I was making plastic shelves for
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I was doing that and I heard that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I turned around to see what he's doing and I said, what do you say?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, you're going to be a pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I went back to work and I looked up at the clock.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it said it was 205.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now I didn't literally say it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But that's what it read.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I went back to work and as I did, I prayed.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, Lord, if you're trying to tell me something,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know that this is not a coincidence by 230.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I kept working, and I tried it for Giple was going on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I see I tried, but you know how it is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I kept on bending the plastic, putting it all together.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: About that time, I saw something falling front of me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a little piece of note, a little bit of note, a little piece of paper.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I kept it for a very long time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how I do it where I went now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But either way, I kept it for a long time, and it read,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It read, dear pastor Philip, you're a good pastor and we love you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Funny thing is I could all see it in his voice and Arthur's voice.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I looked up to him, he was standing by the side there and he says, you're going to be a pastor and you know that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember being very excited and very scared at the same time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember going out at 430 when my dad came to pick me up because I didn't drive at the time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I just got in my license by didn't have a car.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm picking me up and I said, Dad, you're not going to believe this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I said to my father, I said, I think God's telling me I'm going to be a minister.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He said, did he say that?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, well, he said pastor, but I don't think you meant pastor because I don't have those gifts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have those abilities.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you meant minister and my dad still saw you fine and told you, did he?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he told me, he went through telling me on the way home, and I was in tears.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was telling me how him, a mom, had known, sometimes about seven years old, by the way, that's the year I come to know Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, since I was a seven years old, that God had told them that I was going to be a pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't say pastor either.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He said, he knew that God was going to preach.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But that they had known and others had known and looked at my picture in New.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But I,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: didn't know they would not tell me because they knew they was scared me and that I would run and I would think that they were telling me and not God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So they would tell God told me and there I was it, they all are old age of 19 years old nearly 20 that I was going to be a pastor but I kept correcting God every time that God would say pastor I said no, no, no, no, no, he means minister.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the gifts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the ability.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I have to scare to get front of people but here's the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is not the first time that I correct the God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God told me when I was a young boy that he wanted to do things, whenever I was only 13 years old, when I was only 13 years old, I would start helping in the nursery.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I would say, oh, I can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just too young, but I did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then eventually I took over in the nursery, when I was out 14, even when I was 13 and 14, I would help that what we call the Sunday morning opening.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That would be when we teach the little kids.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was helping the sister,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't think, sister Robertson and I would help her out a lot and I liked it, but I was scared and finally when I was 14 years old I taught my first time back there and it was shortly after my first brain surgery and I was nervous as all get out
-
[SPEAKER_00]: but Miss Artis Robertson helped me out a lot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was very patient with me and kind.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember telling her, I can't teach.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the ability.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: My father told me, no, you just stay there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You'd be quiet, you listen, you learn, you follow God, you serve God, and you'll be okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I did exactly that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and guess what's amazing?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I kept doing that and then said leaks from years go by and God has something else for me to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He decided here was only a junior in high school and God decided that I needed to be a Senate school teacher.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: My father came to me and said, I need you now to start teaching Sunday school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, oh, I can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the calling.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the ability.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't do those things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Finally,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I know son, but I think you can do it and God told me you can do it and you can do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I would do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Suddenly it was so hard.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did that and I was still helping with the opening.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was a senior in high school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was still teaching Sunday school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I was leading and helping me more and more in the opening and the small opening.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And guess what happened by the end of a high school is still high school as a senior in high school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, not only was I teaching in the little opening and in Sunday school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, suddenly here it was Easter.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Easter of my senior high, and now on that Easter, it was the first day that we was going to have children's church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And now I was doing children's church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And oh, I can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I don't have the ability to do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And guess what happened?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God said through my father, you can do this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You just have to be obedient.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You just have to serve God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You can guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I had told him to tell other people and suddenly I knew and I did it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did two of the search for 25 years, not to mention that I'm talking about West City School and all that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So 25 years of talk, two of the other.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did all those things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I kept doing those things while I was called to also be a pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And eventually in 2014, right about the 25th anniversary, I also then eventually became a pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: My point is, I was obedient and I served.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So, so, a title of today's sermons, good news, good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Good news, God has a calling.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God has a calling for everyone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And God has a calling for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to get into that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the very first part is good news, God's calling.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When God first called me through dreams, through sermons, through songs, through lessons, through my conscience.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And when you get to your conscience, it is the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And God had been telling me through my whole life that God has a calling on you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of times, I'm too young, I'm too shy, I'm not good enough here right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: but it's not just you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It is God through you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You might say, I don't have the talent for that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You let God tell you what you have the talent for.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You let God tell you what you can do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that an athlete doesn't start off being an athlete?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that an actor doesn't start off being an actor?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that writer doesn't start off from the mother's womb being a right tour?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They have to start off slow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have to wait, slow, and short.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have to start off slow and short because you have to get better at it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God has to mold you and make you slowly but surely becoming these things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have to slowly but surely become these things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God has to train you and get you prepared.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a person who runs has to run slow, but sure and get better at it each and every day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's turn to Luke 2, 13 through 20.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Luke 2, 13 through 20.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it says this, suddenly there was with the angel, a company of heavenly host praying, praising God, and saying, glory to God of the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherd said to each other, let us go to Bethlehem and see what has happened.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: which the Lord has made known to us, so they came hurring and found Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in a manger.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When they had seen him, they made widely known the word which was told to them concerning this child and all those who heard it marveled.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: at what the shepherds told them, but Mary kept to all these things, kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen as it had been told them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: their shepherds went around spreading good news to all the people in the area.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They went told the neighbors told the people in the area that the baby had been born.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The Messiah was here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The Messiah, the Christ of Baby had been born.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The Messiah we've been told about all our lives and before us had been born, he was here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the first
-
[SPEAKER_00]: good news people the first people who spread the good news oh yes they didn't stay quiet they told everyone you know a lot of times in the movies when they talk about the shepherds they make it as if the shepherds is quietly went home that's not what they did they spread the good news to everyone they told everybody if the good news and that's your job your job is to be a good news reporter you know there's a lot of people especially nowadays
-
[SPEAKER_00]: wherever it is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It could be YouTube could be somewhere else.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It likes to spread fake news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not your job.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's spread fake news and lies.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that in a moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You spread good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Spread the good news of the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know that's what the word gospel means.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know people mischuse the word gospel all that time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've heard him do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, there was a movie called Hercules that came out in 1997.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Hercules is a Disney cartoon based off the old Greek and Roman Greek curse, tell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And what they would end up doing is they would say that that's the gospel truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now when they end up telling that, they would try to do it in a gospel music style.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's the truth about that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Even gospel music.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, something that people use to talk about, say, they've tried to say is when black people would sing and churches, they call that gospel music style.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They even fact when Ray Charles started singing, they'd start saying that he was singing in a gospel style.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's stupid.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This, because that's the way people were used to hearing it being sung, that's not gospel music.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Gospel is when you're just being singing spiritual music.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Not just because you're going, oh yeah, that's not, that doesn't make the spiritual, that doesn't make it a gospel song.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Just because that's the way you're used to hearing it and church doesn't make it gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The gospel is not just good news to you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I can come to you say right now, hey, good news!
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I found out there's seven big max for $2 for $2 for $5, no that by the way, that's not true.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want you to go wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, do you hear what the pastor said?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not true, don't go to McDonald's, think you're gonna get a deal.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing, that's not a gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The gospel is the good news about the Lord God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: People are misusing that phrase.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The gospel is the good news about salvation about the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that is our job.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's sort of says in Romans chapter 1, 16 through 17.
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I want you to know about this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is when we were, Paul, as we can do those of Rome, they were raised in Rome, and they were raised in a lot of lies, which we're going to hear about here in a couple of weeks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They were raised with a lot of lies, but let's see what he says to them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For aye, and this is verse 16 and 17, by the way, in Romans 1.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and they were living in also to sin, but this what he said to them, for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek, or we'll get to that in a minute, for in the righteousness of God is revealed from the faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, who's he quote him there?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's quoting a backache, a backache, two four says that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what does it mean to the Jew first and also to the Greek?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's, sometimes they use a word Gentile.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Gentile means anyone who's not Jewish, but into the Greek, you have to remember that the Romans love the Greeks, and they're trying to be just like the Greeks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that in a couple of weeks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we will.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's saying it is to the Jewish and everyone else.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, first John four, though not for a song for four, as I quote that a lot, first John four, nine and ten, for a song for nine and three, ten, and I want you to know God's calling you, and we'll get to that too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: First John 4 at 9 through 10, and this way, and this way, the love of God was revealed to us that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him, and this is love, not that we love God, this one of my favorite verses, not that we love God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the attoning sacrifice for our sins.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you know anything about the Jewish life, about Judaism or anything like that, they would have a toning sacrifice through the lambs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This meant that they would always, every year.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they had several different types of sacrifice.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But they would every year have a lamb that you would have slaughtered, and they would have this taken to the temple.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And this would be meaning.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This would be all the sins for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: for all the sins you've done that year.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This would have told you for the year.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But this, a toning sacrifice, that Jesus Christ did, Jesus of the Christ, the Messiah did for you, on the cross when He died, it would be for all your sin, not just for one year, not for one month, not for a decade, for all time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, there was a curtain, a curtain that sit curtain when talked about it before, that sit curtain,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it was four inches thick.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of thickness.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's four inches thick.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Four inches thick.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you say, how big is that, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to take a toy about an action figure so I'm about like this tall.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's about how thick it is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's about that thing and what they ended up doing whenever she's died on the cost and the earth shook no, oh, it's not a coincidence.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to think of how thick that curtain is what happened was that when it shook the curtain from the top to the bottom, I say, it's a lot from the top to the bottom, not the bottom to the top, this is how you remember it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That thing ripped.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it separated the separation between you and the Lord God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus was now the way you could get to G to the Lord God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: His bread had been shed.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was at a turning sacrifice for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that lamb that eternal lamb had been sacrificed for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you now have the good news to spread to all people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus and not only been born, he had died.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And in three days time, he would be risen again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's your job to spread that news, and you have a calling on your life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: A calling for all Christians everywhere is to spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You might think, I don't have a calling on my life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just calling to be safe.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, you have another calling, too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You have a calling to spread the good news to everyone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 1226.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 1226.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, once you understand, this is right before the last supper.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Right before the last supper in the book of John, because we see in chapter 13, through 17, is the last supper.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So right before that, but I love that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I loved it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I read it a lot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But look at chapter 12.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 1226 says, if anyone serves me, he must follow me where I am, there will my servant be also.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If anyone serves me, the father will honor him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How many people do you know who say, I believe in the Lord, I love the Lord, they might even say, I'm a Christian, but they don't live it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're one of them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe you'd have been one of them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well listen, if you've made those mistakes, get in the line, for all have sitting in front of the door and go, I will get that in a minute.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's Romans 3-10, by the way.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's Romans 2-4-3.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that in a minute.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Romans 3-10, there's none right to us, no one not one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But that doesn't excuse the fact that there are none right to us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no one else is right to us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's one not to be right to us either.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If God shows you an unrighteousness, so to speak, in your life, something that there's a mistake in, a spot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't say, well, Bounty's not going to get it out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not talking about it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking tied.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Ty's not going to get it out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is not going to get out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Jesus will.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're already saying great, but guess what, Jesus could take out that spot in your life from now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about so people don't see the stain in your life, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was eating last night.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was eating a wonderful food my mother made.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was really good, by the way.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For instance, toast, oh, it was good.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I had eaten all day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was, let's just say, ram bumps just in my eating.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I went to eat, and as I went to eat, some of the certain desire to eat me too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I got some, you can't tell, but it's under this shirt because I didn't want to change this morning when I had what I, I, I, I, I shoured, but I decided to put that shirt back off because I figured no one's gonna see through this big thick shirt.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So if I told you as a hundred percent clean I am, but my shirt's not.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I still have a little bit of syrup on my shirt underneath here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: My point is, the ones know why we have spots on us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now thank God for tied.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and other things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But God takes the tide and takes things out of us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We still walk around with spots on us once in a while.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now you can't tell right now, but I have a little syrup on me, praise the Lord once in a while we have syrup from sin and other stains on us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean that you're not washed clean and you're not going to go to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But people don't, if I was wearing a white shirt right now and I had ketchup on me and other things people say, and he's supposed to be a good clean preacher man.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know how they do?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm talking about in your life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If you slipped and cursed and are you slipped and you said something better you watched a film that in their mind didn't make it look like a good man They might say and he's supposed to be a Christian you're still a Christian But you may have a spotter to you may have Heinz catch up on you are fifty seven sausage something else are fifty seven spots on you But the point is that God is watch the inside and once in a while you have to go through the car watch too
-
[SPEAKER_00]: sometimes you need car wash to wash all the spots off you because there's so many but God can help you with that and then it's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean it's okay to keep getting spots on you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Take the bath once in a while.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Come in and turn.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Take up your Bible.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let the Lord help you to walk right because you need to spread the news that you don't need to go out there talking about the car wash.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If your car looks like that's never been through one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Amen?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Galatians 513, you brothers have been called to liberty.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about this in a couple of weeks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You brothers have been called to liberty, only do not use liberty to give an opportunity to the flesh, but by love, serve one another.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're to serve one another.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Live in liberty, but it's freedom not to live in sin, but to be freedom from sin.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about a couple of weeks.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: First Peter 14, as everyone has was outside again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: First Peter 14, I love it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: As everyone has received a gift, even so serve one another with it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, if you love your brother, sister, and Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Serve the Lord and in doing so, you're serving them too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're serving them too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We used to have a lot of people come in this church, so I wonder what we have now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the problem was, guess how many more people would serve God here at the church?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Not many more.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Not many more than we have now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have five, six, seven, eight people who serve a lot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what, back then we might have had 10, 15, 16 people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But, but, percentage wise, we had the same amount of people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Same amount of people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because some people say, I'm just there to warm up you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Other people say, I'm there to serve God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Other people say, I'm there to serve God and warm up you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Other people say, yeah, but I'm just too shy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm too shy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't be used with that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not going to believe what I'm about to tell you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: One point in time in my life, at one point in time in my life, I thought I was too shy to do anything and get out there in front of the people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Pastor, I know you're not shy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You may not realize this, but I'm shy to some people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For some people, I don't like to be on the open, but guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God is greater than I.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I don't necessarily like being out the open because I've got news for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fat, I'm big, I'm big.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't necessarily like being out the open, but guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Greatest, he's in me that he's with the world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So because of that, I will not let the things down the chained of, be greater than the thing that I'm proud of.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am proud of Christ who's within me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so because of that, I will get up in front of you and show off my scar.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I will get up in front of you and show off my weight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, that doesn't mean I proud of the weight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean I proud of those things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It means I proud of Jesus Christ who's within me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That means greatest he who's within me that he who's in the world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Greatest he who's in me who tries to make me a shame of these things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am not ashamed of Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am proud of him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I will not let these things in my freight of be greater than the thing I am proud of.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm proud of Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got good news for you, first of all, before I go there, Ephesians 4 tells us that different types of coalings will get more news at the end of the summer.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Different types of coalings in your life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's pastors and teachers and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's all sorts of things and call it as a punner life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to go there except to say Ephesians 4 tells us of what they're different callings in our life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But our good news, real good news for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God knows more than you do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God knows more than you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's really good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Real good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know why I'm good news?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God knows more than you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because instead of you telling God, I can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God can say, Hush, I know more than you do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know you from yesterday, I know you from today, and I know you from tomorrow, I know what you can do, I know what you think you can do, and I know what you can do, and I also know the excuses that you're trying to make so that you can procrastinate, be lazy, and not grow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I go to the gym and I'm playing on getting that to start and did a good time again tomorrow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what I hate about the gym?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sweat.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I hate hurting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I hate to pain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what I love about the gym?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How I feel when I'm done?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel good about the bad feelings of pain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel good when the sweat is done and I've done all that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because I know that it's worth it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's worth the pain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's worth it all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's worth it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same way with the spiritual gym.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: every single day, a spread in the world of God, a work at heart of being better.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You feel better, you're in better shape spiritually than you were before.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the same thing we have to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We think, I can't do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you can.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you can.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Greater seems than you remember that than you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he was in the world who tells you you can't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right, you can't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Jesus can.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Jesus can.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That Jesus can.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: first John 320, first John 320, first John 320.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For if a heart condemns us, listen to this now, for if a heart condemns us, God is greater than a heart and knows what everything, what does God know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything, that's right, he's omnipotent, he's omniscient, God knows everything.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah 29 live and I like a lot of times I like to call my friend Jeremiah, just because I like that name, and he'll always ask, it's Jeremiah, he says, but I still say it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah 29 live and Jeremiah is a great name.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what Jeremiah is a great name?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah, the great prophet went through so much.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a proud name, you know why?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He suffered greatly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He suffered greatly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But he continued to spread the good news, even law home before the Messiah came.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah 29, let me say it's for I know the, now this is the Lord God speaking to him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've heard people mistens through this a lot of times.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They've misused this a lot to say, there's never going to be any bad for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I've got to say it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah was placed into a pit for a very long time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Does that sound like no bad?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: These people went through slavery and also to other hardships.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Does that sound like no bad was going to happen?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But even through the difficulties, there's greater good than the bad that ever did happen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 139 verse 4, this is what it says here, for there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, you know it fully.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God knows everything you're going to say, but guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: When you put God first and you follow Him, it's going to be greater to follow Him than anything you ever can do for yourself.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Follow God, put Him first.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to do that later, Pastor.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, today, and get started now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Hebrews 413, the author says, and Hebrews 413, there is no creature that has not revealed in his sight for all things are bare and exposed in the eyes of him to whom we must give a count.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're all going to stand for the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We all must give a count.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, what a man once said.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a man who once said, when we come to Christ, we are no longer the most important person in the world to us Christ is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of living only for ourselves, we have a higher goal to live for Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That man was Billy Graham.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was right, and he's with Christ now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Last and not least, good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have very good news to share, not fake news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people go around spreading fake news to others.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking political stuff right now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about there as good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: These good news, the gospel, the good news of salvation, that the news is Jesus and Jesus alone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No other way, can anyone get to have it?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No other way.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And yet there are people who will spread fake news to everybody, they'll say fake news, why do they do that?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're cowards.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They're not brave enough to stand up on the feet and on the blueprint and upon the firm ground of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, they would like to make people happy for the moment, or you believe in, ah, well, guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You can go to heaven to all, I know you cannot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Allah is not salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you believe in these other false aces, and you believe in Satanism, you believe in Mormonism, you believe in Jehovah's Witnesses, believe it all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No folks are sinner to hell, and you're gonna answer to God for not having a courage for being a liar, for being deceitful, for being no different than Satan himself, for twisting the word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a whole slew of them out there who are doing that very thing right now because they have no heart, they have no guts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know the truth, the truth is Christ, and they need to know the truth and spread the good news to all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's one way to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get to that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Isaiah 55, 637.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about Isaiah a lot of the list one is says.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Isaiah 55, 677, seek the Lord while He may be found.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Call upon Him while He is near.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man in his, excuse me, and the unrighteous man in his thoughts and let him return to the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and to our God for he will abundantly pardon.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You are once lost, but now you're found.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This might be the very thing the lost person needs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: A person who is once lost too, to spread that good news to them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not telling you to tell them everything every day at wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I am how you're saying, let the whole spirit talk to them through you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what that's going to be.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It very well might be that you understand.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They may think you're holier than them, and they probably do think that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, in my very well, because they're very different.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In my very well, be that you talk to them and the whole spirit of horse speaks through the you, and that whole spirit may reach out to them and bring them to Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not about what you do, but what Christ does through you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 3, 16, 3, 18.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You already know it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For God's sake, so low the world He gave is only, big God, and Son.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The whosoever believes in Him shall not perish.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: but have ever lasting life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For God and I send it send it to the world so condemn the world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But that the world through Him might be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He who believes in Him is not condemned.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But He who does not believe is condemned already because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This is very important.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How many people are out there right now?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe even in a church, they're going to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's sad.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's sad.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know so many people, I believe in Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So to say, I believe in Jesus, I'm glad you believe in Him, but have you asked him to save you of your sins.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very important.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 14 verse 6, and this is important, too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: John 14 6, Jesus said to Him, I am the way the truth in the life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No one comes to the Father except through me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not nice enough to go to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But I gave $7.50 to the blind man on the street.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's very nice of you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care if you gave $750 to that blind man.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's nice.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not going to get you to heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to go to heaven like the Pharisees who come down and give their money and pile upon their chest and get all the attention in the world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, look what I've done.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: to the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because of her heart, because she had a heart for the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Mr. 23, and you know it, and you know it very well.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For all that's some.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: not them out in the street, for all have sin and come short of the glory.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God, every single of us, you, me, that's seven year old me I'm talking about now, that's seven year old, who is in the basement, playing with he man toys.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and suddenly it came to him that he was going to die and going to hell and he deserved it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've heard people say, oh, you wouldn't have gone to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, shut up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know exactly what was going to happen to me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I knew in that very moment that if I had died, I'd go to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All but you was on a seven years old.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, everybody's a different age of the age of kind of ability and I knew it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I knew it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God, love you so much, you would have sent you to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, listen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that if I was a diet that moment I would be in the depths of eternal hell and damnation, but good news!
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Good news!
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I ran upstairs to my father and my mother, and they said a prayer with me, and I actually used to save my seven-year-old self, and wash my sins, why to snow and good news?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saved by the blood of Jesus, and another thing, good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't earn it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't earn it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't deserve it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I got something else to tell you, my mom could tell you, that 7-year-old was dirty, disgusting, filthy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: My clothes are dirty, I'd get holes in my jeans and I'm not just talking of any even the disgusting polyester clothes that get me from garage sales.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But guess what, guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't just on the outside.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was on the inside too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The inside was dirty and gross.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I met you back then, you weren't like, yes, I was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You just didn't know it just like you were.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And are, if you don't have Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Jesus loved me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Any call to that boy who used to have hair and still had a gap in his teeth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It said, come to me, and I will make you why to snow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and he did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the best news of all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Roman 623 says, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus, Christ, our Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the best news you'll ever see.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You may deserve to go to hell, and you do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm a nice guy, never done wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you have.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't want to receive that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to admit that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But you have.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You do deserve to go to hell.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Pastor, that's so cruel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Honesty usually is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Honesty usually is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: One person in particular who never wants to admit when they've done wrong.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They will scapegoat to everybody.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk later on about what a scapegoat is, but usually they will point to other people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They can lie and then say, I wasn't the liar, that person was the liar, because they were standing right next to me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I even know a person who'll tell a joke, one that's really not funny, but kind of inappropriate.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, because it shocks you, you kind of a shock life, you ever done a shock life, by a shock life, you're not expecting anyone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You kind of do that because you're not expecting to hear that and you go, they're like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you're the jerk, and you're trying to make me look like a jerk, and maybe I'm a jerk for hanging around you, but I'm not a jerk for saying the jerk that you said, you're a jerk.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The third day, that's what people do in it, and instead of meeting their false, that's what people do, who don't want to call on to Jesus, and they can admit they have a fault, but until they bring the fault to Him to wash up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to take care of to take it right back to my mother again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like me having dirty clothes as a kid and say, yeah, I got dirty clothes so wide.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, to tell I take those dirty clothes off and put it into the wash, it's not going to get washed up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The same with the sense, you can immediately have sins on you, but you can tell you take it to the Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to be saved, and that's the truth, and that's the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go and sue Romans chapter 10.
Romans 10 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Romans chapter 10, oh, I'm worked up.
Romans 10 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Romans 10.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: 9-317.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to work that because a Holy Spirit is worked up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and I'll tell you the truth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I hate hate the devil and I hate Satan so much and the demons who are going against all the lost out there and telling them it's okay to stay lost and to continue to live in these things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And even the Christians, I don't mean I hate them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I hate what the devil's doing to them to tell them it's okay to keep living and sin.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, we must tell the truth and spread the gospel, spread the good news to the whole world.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just want to say as in verse 9 through 17, I'll try to do it quickly here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That if you confess with your map, by the way, it's what my title says.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised them from the dead, you will be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For the Scripture says, whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed, for there is no distinction between the Jew or the Greek, for the same Lord, over all is Juniors toward all who call upon Him, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will, excuse me, shall be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: How then shall they call on Him and whom they have not believed, and how shall they believe in Him?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: of whom they have not heard, and how shall they hear without a preacher, and how shall they preach unless they are sent as it is written, and how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: who bring good news of good things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For Isaiah said, Lord, who has believed our report?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We need to continue to preach the Word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Preach the gospel, live it and preach it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It says in 1 Corinthians 9, 14, and the same way the Lord has ordained that those who priests the gospel should live from the gospel, it's not just enough that you say it, you must live it first.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's so much more I could say, but I will say one other thing from this part, and that is Acts 412.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And as very important, remember that this was said from Peter to those around, there's no salvation in any other.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Peter, priestess to others, I know you're going to be on popular in school.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're going to be on popular at family, family reunions and at certain functions.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be a popular.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called a bicket.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called biased.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called a knowledgeable.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called a fool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called a fool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not a fool because the fool says there is no God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be called all sorts of things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But remember, when an idiot, a fool, or someone tells, calls you a fool, who's the fool?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Those who lead are those who follow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Who's the one who's truly foolish?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I dare say you hear the fool if you don't listen to God, but listen to those who call you a fool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Follow the Lord God, not the others who don't want to hear the news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know when the shepherds will not spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't their job to make the people listen to the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was their job to spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So go out there, spread the good news to all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If they listen, awesome, wonderful, outstanding.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If they know, that's up to that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Be like those little news boys on the street that used to hand out the little newspapers and say, hey,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Good news, I got good news for you in the 1930s and 40s.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They used to call, spread the good news to people and say, hey, fresh off the presses, fresh off the presses, spread the good news to everyone, like the shepherds did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever your calling is, or is it, you do have a calling to spread the good news to everyone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You may not think you're called to do this, but you don't understand pastor, I'm shy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't understand, don't ever be too shy to spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't understand pastor, I don't like to talk to people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Neither do I, and all will be honest with you, sometimes I don't like talking.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that's our free to believe, but I don't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I want to be left alone, and you don't know that, it's true.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes especially when I'm home, I don't want to be called sometimes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I don't want to bother, but I do it anyway.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know why?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because you're more important than me and my wants.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're more important than that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: More importantly, God is more important than that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Never feel ashamed or afraid to call me, because I'll talk to you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Fact is, no matter what you want, what God wants is more important than what you want.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: God may want you to reach out to those people that you're afraid to talk to.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe there's people in the street who you think look, it's you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You might look it you to them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But God, if he's telling you to talk to him, talk to him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever the calling is, spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just what we say is how we say it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's how we live.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Spread the good news.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And last but not least, Mark 16, 15, he said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's our job.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Your job and your calling is to know Jesus, spread the news of Jesus, live Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the others, others can come to know Jesus
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's bow and prayer.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Lord Jesus, I pray that you will use this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Good what I pray that you can use this Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray that His Bible school comes about that young people could come to know about you and come to know you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: If there's anyone in our lives who doesn't know you personally Lord, I pray that will change.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For those who are physically ill right now, if there's any,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: who do not know you for sure as a person or in Savior.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe there's even some who believe that they might, but there's still that question.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it could very well be because they know they're not perfect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray that this very moment, though, reach out to you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They'll call out to you and say, Lord God, please, forgive me for all these mistakes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray they'll never even be questioned anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That Lord God, you will wipe them, wipe us no, clean in them, Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray that they will understand you love them and you want to save them and I pray Lord they will be brave enough to spread the good news that you give them assurance of wind and how and where to say it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And who to say it too?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they are afraid to because they are afraid they could lose your job or they could be afraid to lose relationships.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Lord I pray that you will show them that their relationship with you is the most important relationship and Lord God that you will give the strength and ability to do so and Lord
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Shows them right time and right ability.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Open that door, give them the words and open them out and shut their mouth lower, a window and when not to.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray you'll give them courage, Lord God, that they'll know exactly what to do and when to do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I pray that it be you who do it through them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I pray this in Jesus' holy name, amen.
