[SPEAKER_00]: Let's turn to the book of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 6, I'll give you a moment.

Matthew 5:6

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's enough.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'll get it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we turn to Matthew, chapter 5, verse 6, now most of you know this.

Matthew 5:6

[SPEAKER_00]: Luke also has him, there's a chapter six and such.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if you can turn the Matthew five verse six, and then please stand on the reading of God's word.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says, in Matthew five verse six, bless those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

[SPEAKER_00]: For they shall be filled.

[SPEAKER_00]: God bless and on the reading of his word,

[SPEAKER_00]: Blessed are those who hunger.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know it's getting close to lunchtime and you're probably already hungry and I get that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I get that, you know, I really do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, there are many types of condiments.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now that we're thinking about food, so I'm glad that you're thinking of food.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now you probably don't see it, that's okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have a wonderful tie order just for the sermon.

[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't come in time for net last week, and that's okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: The last week's sermon was all on a Sunday, it was perfectly timed.

[SPEAKER_00]: However,

[SPEAKER_00]: on this tie is all about hines, maybe you've heard of hines, which we'll talk about here in a moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: But there's all sorts of condiments, and on this tie, you even have a neat little hines pickle that have been around for years.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk a little bit about the hines pickle too.

[SPEAKER_00]: But there are many types of condiments that people think about.

[SPEAKER_00]: The number one condiment is a ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's put that out here.

[SPEAKER_00]: because it's ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: You've all heard of that, I think.

[SPEAKER_00]: The next one is mustard.

[SPEAKER_00]: You all heard of mustard, I'm sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another one that people oftentimes use probably only on hot bells, such as relish, you guys have heard of relish.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's others too, but I'm only gonna bring out a few here today.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another one is mayonnaise.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and then another one, and now personally, if I had to choose, I would actually probably have miracle with rather than mayonnaise to be honest with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, some people, which is a type of mayo is beyond us with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: But then there is barbeque sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we're going to talk a little bit about some of this in and yes, I brought it in a picnic basket.

[SPEAKER_00]: So because that's kind of, you know, fitting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Literally.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about some of these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of we have?

[SPEAKER_00]: Catch it, Mr.

[SPEAKER_00]: Manage, Merriq with barbecue sauce, but there's other kinds too, that we're not going to get deep into, but they might be on your paves here.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have hot sauce, sauce up, horse radish, wasabi, soy sauce, hummus, relish, and pickles, and many other dips and sauces to be sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: The title of today's sermon, though, is awesome sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: That awesome sauce didn't really exist.

[SPEAKER_00]: That we came a statement of saying that kids said a lot and adults have followed.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then a lot of brands have come up with awesome sauces.

[SPEAKER_00]: One that you'll see on there looks like it's high and it's really not.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is an actual awesome sauce that someone came up with.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I put a logo, someone made that looks Heinz like and I put that on there.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that is an actual awesome sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not a Heinz when it has a Heinz look.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just so you know, I did that because mostly we're going to talk about some Heinz things.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll talk about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, no, I'm not trying to misrepresent.

[SPEAKER_00]: But let's talk about ketchup for men.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sounds goofy, but let's talk about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So ketchup, or is a catsup with C-H-T-S-U-P?

[SPEAKER_00]: So ketchup with the K-E-T-C-H-U-P, or is a catsup?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're going to get to that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hines ketchup came around in 1876, 100 years before I was born, 150 years ago.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hines ketchup was created.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it comes from an Asian word called key-t-c-m. Key-t-c-m, which is fish sauce, brine.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that sounds pretty gross because it is.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it comes back in the 18,000s, the word was used for several types of sauces.

[SPEAKER_00]: That types of sauces were only used to over-taste, in other words, over-

[SPEAKER_00]: over power the rotten tastes that they had over rotten food.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of rotten meat at the time, but that's pretty much all they could afford.

[SPEAKER_00]: They've afford meat, even the rich people.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the meat would be sold out on the streets.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when they'd be sold on the streets, many of times it was rotten.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was green and also it's disgusting colors.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know that sounds sick, but we didn't have what we have now.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that too.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the meat, the foods are often bad and prepared bad, and so sometimes they would

[SPEAKER_00]: by sauces, what kind of sauces that they had?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he was called ketchup or ketchup, but when it was called ketchup, it was oftentimes these are the flavors they had.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, try not to get sick on me.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are the flavors of ketchup that they had at the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: The most common ones are raising ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know that sounds disgusting because it is.

[SPEAKER_00]: They also had mushroom ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had cucumber ketchup and apple ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: for a minute fish ketchup and yes, walnut ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now I know that sounds gross because it is, but that's because it's what we're used to.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's go into how tomato ketchup came to be.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a man and he's on your page there.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's really what he looked like a safety wasn't cartooned.

[SPEAKER_00]: His name was Henry John Heinz.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry John Heinz was born on October the 11th, 1844 in Buringham, Pennsylvania.

[SPEAKER_00]: And at A6, HJ, which is what he went by a lot of times, HJ Heinz helped his mother Anna, tend to a small family guard.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for those of you who like to have little gardens, different, it's good to have a garden, it really is.

[SPEAKER_00]: And she had one, and he helped her.

[SPEAKER_00]: So his mother gave him his mother, and it gave him a three, three acres for his personal garden for his 12th birthday, when he was 12 years old.

[SPEAKER_00]: It may not have been for his birthday per se, but when he was 12, she gave him one, and he gardened on it, and more.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he started delivering groceries to grocery stores in Pittsburgh when he had those that garden.

[SPEAKER_00]: And his mother taught him about lots of things.

[SPEAKER_00]: But one thing she taught about was purity and health.

[SPEAKER_00]: She taught him about everything that'd be seen clearly for mother people.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what he believed him.

[SPEAKER_00]: See him things clearly, things purity.

[SPEAKER_00]: And she taught him about the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what she taught him?

[SPEAKER_00]: So here's some verses for you about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 119, verse 9.

Psalms 119:9

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 119, verse 9 says,

Psalms 119:9

[SPEAKER_00]: by keeping it according to your word.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then here's another one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Matthew 5-8, back to Matthew 5.

[SPEAKER_00]: Matthew 5-8, blessed are the pure and hard for they shall see God.

[SPEAKER_00]: So HJ started by growing and peddling, graded horse radish.

[SPEAKER_00]: That was the first thing you saw.

[SPEAKER_00]: Great of horse radish.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now I like horse radish, but some people would say, but I personally like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's a little strong.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, but I do like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, that's the first thing you did, and he used to sell a whole lot of it, but he sold that horse for actually, see it's on there.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why those are actual pictures of it, except just so you know, they don't really have cartoon eyes and mouths in case you didn't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: But anyhow, they, uh,

[SPEAKER_00]: They did settle like that and the great horse racers and clear jars and it was and you want to say, well, why is that special?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the solar clear jars is my told me to, why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because they used to sell things in dark jars and dark jars.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you wouldn't see what was inside.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, why was that a big deal?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because they wanted to surprise you for what was in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, you wouldn't know what was in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of times they

[SPEAKER_00]: grinded up bones in there and they would also sell sawdust and other things in there and you would know about it because they would get yes, raisins and other disgusting things but they'd also put in all that other stuff not good things so anyhow they did all that but he was taught to be clean and pure and clear for all the world to see so that's why he put it in clear jars

[SPEAKER_00]: And you know this, it's even a song.

[SPEAKER_00]: Created me a clean heart, oh God, every new, right, spirit within me, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what he believed in.

[SPEAKER_00]: So one of the first big things that he used to do back in the day, now this was a little bit later on, but he started selling pickles, sweet pickles with the big ones.

[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, years later in 1893, they went to Chicago World Fair and there's a great big,

[SPEAKER_00]: great big barrel, a great big barrel, and people will go and pick out a big old pickle.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was called a pickle bin, and people did that.

[SPEAKER_00]: What either way, Henry Hines, just so you know, this has nothing to do with it, but I'm going to take, it's interesting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry Hines is a distant relative to a president.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's a distant relative in a way to two politicians, double politicians, but let me just tell you.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was a distant relative to President Trump.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you didn't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: President Trump is related because Henry's paternal grandmother, Charlotte Luisa Trump, was her, and that's his great, great ant to Donald Trump.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another fun fact,

[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, here, uh, Henry John Heinz's great grandson, Senator H. John Heinz III, had a widow in 1991.

[SPEAKER_00]: And in 1995, she would marry John Kerry.

[SPEAKER_00]: So therefore, there's two completely opposites in the political ring that are related to the Heinz.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's move on here.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we have Henry Heinz, and he did all sorts of interesting things.

[SPEAKER_00]: One day, Henry saw a shoe company at, and it was called 21 styles of shoes.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this inspired him when he saw, he said, 21 styles of shoes.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's catchy.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when he saw, he said, I'm going to make my own catchy style.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he already had over 60 different flavors of different things.

[SPEAKER_00]: He sold, but he saw, I like 57.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry liked five in his wife like seven and they did for spirits or reasons, they say, and so for let's see what it says.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why would it be spiritual?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, five in the Bible means God's grace, goodness, and unmerited, unearned favor.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you can't earn it.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know that in his wife like seven, what does it say in the Bible about seven?

[SPEAKER_00]: It means completeness and spiritual,

[SPEAKER_00]: spiritual perfection.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when you look at it in the Heinz catalog, so to speak, he has 57 flavors.

[SPEAKER_00]: It always says that, done at 57 flavors, 57 varieties.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it wasn't just really because I'm 57.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was actually more than that, but because he liked the number 57.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not gonna give you all those styles and flavors that have back in the day or what they've had now, because they've had over 100 and some odd flavors at times.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I am going to give you five varieties plus seven varieties which means 12 varieties.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to give you a few types that they had.

[SPEAKER_00]: At one time they had the horse rash in 1869.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you see the 1869.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't necessarily mean the catch-up.

[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, and then you have the sweet pickles in 1876.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had the tomato ketchup in 1876.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, originally it was catch-up.

[SPEAKER_00]: because everybody's built with the CATSUP.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was cats up originally.

[SPEAKER_00]: So how did it go from being cats up to ketchup?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, inreients.

[SPEAKER_00]: He decided he wanted to be different than everybody else.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he was going to spell it differently.

[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the funny thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody started spelling it ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: To ketchup with to ketchup.

[SPEAKER_00]: with inner heights, even the very last one, and the very last person, Delwanti, they're the last person to spell it this way.

[SPEAKER_00]: But in 1988, they decided they're going to spell it just like, go hines.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because everybody caught up with them, which I think is funny, because he wanted to be different.

[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, he ended up being the one that made the difference.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody wanted to be just like him.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it's got to funny how things work.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's a good thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good thing we're going to get through that too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, then, and this one's kind of weird.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I try to put it in order from the years.

[SPEAKER_00]: So then in 1877, mince me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, baby, you're one watching, maybe you're one who likes mince me.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not one of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be honest with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: My mom sometimes will make mince me.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sorry, my, I don't like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like, I want to try to sound like pop by there.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that just doesn't mince me.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know what mince me is, it's got raisins and other things.

[SPEAKER_00]: but people like it, so that's when you and them.

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't use a cell miss meat for hines, but they have hines sold everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's even sold baby food, believe it or not.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hines is sold baby food.

[SPEAKER_00]: Can you believe that?

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, most time we think of stuff like mustard ketchup, but anyway, so

[SPEAKER_00]: They've also sold baked beans, they've sold chili sauce, prepared mustard, pure malt vinegar, peanut butter, 1909, that it lasts very long, just so you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: It also sold mayonnaise, salad dressing, they've sold fig pudding, believe it or not.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the ripe olives, those they sold everything, and show much more.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the HJ Heinz company sells more than 1,300 products from ketchup to baby food like I said,

[SPEAKER_00]: The Heinz company pioneered safe and sanitary food preparation and was ahead of his time.

[SPEAKER_00]: It had a building.

[SPEAKER_00]: When they first built the building way back when it was the one of the very, very first electrified buildings before electricity was anywhere.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had the first electrified building because it was ahead of their time and he wanted to take care of everyone to keep them safe.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: He had free medical benefits before anyone else did.

[SPEAKER_00]: He had before anyone else.

[SPEAKER_00]: He had women and supervising positions and Henry promoted less of this now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry promoted Sunday school in Pittsburgh and around the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry sun-howered kept the business going and wouldn't close or fire people during the depression.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was taught for his father to treat people the way you want to be treated.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then, not to mention that he and his father taught about Howard now, he and his father were involved in starting the FDA with Teddy Roosevelt and why part of it was because of the competition.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the other part was because people were putting, like I said, well, I'll go solve dust and bones and other unsentitary things.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so, therefore, yes, you had to do the competition, but it was more than that.

[SPEAKER_00]: He wanted people to be pure, wanted it to be safe, and so they helped the United States to start FDA to keep people safe and keep them from dying.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those people were dying.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they wanted everyone to know what was in the products.

[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, you know something else he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to like this.

[SPEAKER_00]: He went out and he would buy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thousands, maybe even more dollars worth of people who are competing to try to look like his stuff and he would throw their bottles into the dump so that people wouldn't buy it thinking it was his because he didn't want people to buy the product thinking hello, thinking it was his and think that they were getting an umpure product from him.

[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know why?

[SPEAKER_00]: So he said, oh, he's competing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, one competition.

[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't want to hurt the name of Heinz because he was a Christian man.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when you hurt the name of Heinz, Henry Heinz, you're hurting the name of Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I mostly admire about Henry Heinz.

[SPEAKER_00]: Other things they did.

[SPEAKER_00]: Other things they did.

[SPEAKER_00]: As I said, he wanted to destroy the companies who were poisoning the people.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he wanted to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Keep people safe.

[SPEAKER_00]: They even, I already told you about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: The high in family helped bring all this to an end and build people up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry John Hines passed away at 74 years old on May the 14th, 1919.

[SPEAKER_00]: And these were the words he put into his will.

[SPEAKER_00]: In his will, H.G.

[SPEAKER_00]: High and said, I desire to set forth at the very beginning of this will a confession of my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior.

[SPEAKER_00]: I also desire to bear witness to the fact that throughout my life, I have a wonderfully sustained by my faith in God through Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: This legacy was left by my concentrated mother, a woman of strong faith, and to it, I attribute any success I have obtained.

[SPEAKER_00]: You see this verification, verification of what the scripture says in Proverbs chapter 25 verse 6.

Proverbs 25:6

[SPEAKER_00]: Prayin' up a child in the way he should go, and in the end, it shall not depart from him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, why have I told you all this about Henry Himes?

[SPEAKER_00]: because I'm proud of him, yes, he's my brother in Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I want to go out by Heinz 57 sauce, no, because I think you should buy only Heinz ketchup, no.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not because of that at all.

[SPEAKER_00]: You might notice it, none of this is Heinz except for the one.

[SPEAKER_00]: I did all that because each one should be staying out on its own and have different companies we're going to talk about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: The reason is because I want you to know that there are other brothers and sisters in this world and each one has left a wonderful attributing

[SPEAKER_00]: ministry for the Lord, even though you may not know about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you see Heinz, you don't know that's about Jesus Christ, but it was about Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: And not just because it's red like the blood, but we're going to talk about that too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so there is a famous thing it goes around.

[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of looks like the Heinz could try to make it look like the logo, but it also kind of looks like the cross, which is kind of nice.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a little shirt that they have going around.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's ketchup with Jesus and it's built the CATCH ketchup with Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I put it on there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't make that up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a couple of others I didn't make up, but a couple of my dead.

[SPEAKER_00]: So catch up with Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we should catch up with Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, how do we catch up with Jesus?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, first of all, we can't catch up with Jesus by being as good as Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know that.

[SPEAKER_00]: We can't catch up with Jesus by doing all things Jesus did.

[SPEAKER_00]: We can't do that.

[SPEAKER_00]: But

[SPEAKER_00]: We could catch up with Jesus by allowing Jesus to catch up with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, putting it first in your life, what is the scripture that is often on the shirts?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 37 verse 4.

Psalms 37:4

[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, what it says.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 37 verse 4, write that down if you want.

Psalms 37:4

[SPEAKER_00]: It says, the light is self in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, make sure that He is never one in your heart.

[SPEAKER_00]: and you will have your desire seen in him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Matthew chapter five, I know we're done on a Matthew chapter five, and there's a reason for that, they all connect.

[SPEAKER_00]: Matthew five, 11 through 12, 11 and 12, I should say.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just wanna say this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is Jesus speaking.

[SPEAKER_00]: rejoice and be very glad because great is your reward in heaven for in this matter they persecuted the prophets who were before you listen if you're serving Jesus Christ and do the things for him you're going to be persecuted you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Henry Hines was persecuted.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was persecuted for doing these things in and having a son start the FDA and it is I don't know if it's 100% true, but I do like that he did this his son Howard is said that he went before Teddy Roosevelt who I love I love Teddy one of my favorites one of my faith five of the presence of our time he went before him and it's it said that Teddy Roosevelt drinks got I don't know that's true, so I don't want to you know starting rumors, but it is said the Henry Heinz went for him.

[SPEAKER_00]: and gave him two cups of scotch, one here, one here, and he said, one of these scotch, one of these has poison in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, which one is the scotch one, which one is the poison, and Teddy Roosevelt said, this one is the scotch.

[SPEAKER_00]: I could tell he smelled it.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's not gonna tell he goes, are you willing to venture life on that?

[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, you got my attention.

[SPEAKER_00]: And his whole point of that, it was that there was poison.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was poison.

[SPEAKER_00]: It won, and there's poison in the false catchups and other things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is why I'm telling you this.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of poison out there in churches right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are not the real Bible Bible following churches.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now some may know the Lord, but they're teaching a lot of false things and they're not giving you things that can help you catch up with Christ or Christchurch with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because you're teaching a lot of false things.

[SPEAKER_00]: What do you need to make sure or follow in God through the Word?

[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure it's the Holy Spirit that's speaking to you, not yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because you will do all sorts of things that are incorrect if you're not careful.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're following your own will, if you're listening to everyone else and you're not listening to God, they will give you poison in the catch-up so to speak.

[SPEAKER_00]: They will give you poison to go along with the Word.

[SPEAKER_00]: It will get put poison in your saw dust, if you will.

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll weigh it down.

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll put something there doesn't belong there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you're falling the lower to nothing else.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then, let's go on to mustard.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I could have easily made hines everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even the little packages you get, you know, you get it from the restaurants and all.

[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a little red flag.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people give you red flags.

[SPEAKER_00]: if you talk about faith, you live by faith, I need proof, I need facts, they'll say.

[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the problem with that.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people live by faith, he wouldn't then think it's facts, because they're on a don't-whether people told him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you're having faith in the person telling you that and you're not having faith in the Lord God.

[SPEAKER_00]: You need to have faith in the Lord Jesus, not in your pastor, not in what's written in the Bible.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now is what you read on Facebook.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now is what you see on Netflix.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now is what you see with all these other, I can name probably 27 different things that people watch and people read.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's why I only go and listen to a professor so and so, or Reverend Resilbritz is, or whoever listen, it's only by faith through the Lord Jesus Christ and His grace that you can go to heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's by faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: People might want to red flag you, but it's by faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you need to have the mustard seed of faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I mentioned that Heinz ketchup started in 1876.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, he doesn't say be quiet, but it means the same thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because He loves us so much, He wants us to be still.

[SPEAKER_00]: He wants us to hear what He has to say.

[SPEAKER_00]: To show us the right way.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, barbecue sauce is very fitting, except it's not gonna be KC masterpieces.

[SPEAKER_00]: JC masterpieces.

[SPEAKER_00]: God wants to make you his masterpiece.

[SPEAKER_00]: He wants you to be a JC masterpiece.

[SPEAKER_00]: He wants you to be JC masterpieces.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you will shut up, if you will be quiet,

[SPEAKER_00]: God, Jesus Christ will make you a masterpiece too often.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to make ourselves a masterpiece in our own vision, but God doesn't need you to be that because too often we make a mess.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I used to do, I'm so embarrassed by this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I told you, I wanna go how you used to mess things up and make mayo and peanut butter and all this gross disgustingity is gross disgusting.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I used to make all sorts of other disgustingness.

[SPEAKER_00]: When I worked at McDonald's, I used to take all these packets of almost everything you could possibly imagine.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Lord God's will is the awesome sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: We need the only awesome sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: What the Lord God will give us?

[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to get to that too.

[SPEAKER_00]: But we need to remember that God wants you to be a masterpiece.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then you might say, have a how can I be that only through Jesus?

[SPEAKER_00]: You're already a Kansas City classic as it says here on the bottle, and this has been a Kansas City classic since 1977.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you this.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've been a Kansas City classic.

[SPEAKER_00]: You might be a Kansas City classic since 1977, baby.

[SPEAKER_00]: We need to be a J.C. classic, a Jesus Christ classic, where he changes those, each and every day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mark 4, 39, Mark 4, 39, it says this, he rose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, peace be still than the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're having trouble right now and I've had that.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a moment in my life when I was in the hospital.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'll talk to him some about this next week.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a time when I was in the hospital, my mind wasn't working right, and the Lord got spoke to me.

[SPEAKER_00]: They used a man who was working there, but he told me to be still.

[SPEAKER_00]: And since then, when I hear it be still, it is one of the most calming things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some people take offense.

[SPEAKER_00]: You shouldn't take offense.

[SPEAKER_00]: not when it's a Lord saying it, you should be very still, very calm and know the God is in charge.

[SPEAKER_00]: Beloved, be quiet, become a JC masterpiece, Psalm 4610.

[SPEAKER_00]: Be still and know that I am God.

[SPEAKER_00]: I will be insulted among the nations.

[SPEAKER_00]: I will be exalted in the earth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Last but not least, awesome sauce, true awesome sauce.

[SPEAKER_00]: God isn't charged, and he is awesome.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says in Psalm 68 35, O God, you are awesome from your sanctuaries.

[SPEAKER_00]: The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to people, blessed be God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is kind of fun, silly, strange way to bring all these condiments, these sauces, these things that people put on the side.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, in reality, people too often put God to the side is if they don't need him to be the never-one their life and they should.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you want God to use you, put and all these things away and never come back to, put God first in your life, make sure that God makes you the masterpiece he wants you to

[SPEAKER_00]: Have the muster seat of faith knowing that God isn't charged so that Jesus can catch up with you because too often people leave Jesus behind.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need to do that anymore.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need to do that anymore.

[SPEAKER_00]: But God be that awesome sausage people always talking about.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure that God is always in your life because all these things are just things.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the Lord God to make your life more awesome than anything else.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was a kid, the word awesome was used all the time, but I didn't realize what it really meant.

[SPEAKER_00]: Until I started knowing the Lord God personally, and allowing him to change me, and he truly is all inspiring and awesome.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let me close with Psalm 33 verse 8, and we'll go to the Lord and prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let me say this.

[SPEAKER_00]: You feel the need for God to change your life.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come forward today.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you feel the need to let God use you, or either be in this church, or in your life with other people, let Him be seen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let His light be seen, let His work be used in you, for you to be a master of peace.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that His awesomeness be seen in you, because it can be, it can be.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that you can catch up with Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's all of the Lord who could do this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you've wanted the Lord God to use you, but you didn't know how.

[SPEAKER_00]: On today, you can join the church.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can go to God, redeticate yourself, whatever it is you need to do, today could be that day.

[SPEAKER_00]: And let's see what it says in Psalm 33 verse 8, before we go to the Lord and prayer, before we have an invitation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let all the earth fear the Lord, let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Dear Lord God, we thank you so very, very much for loving us.

[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for the things that you do for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord God, I know Lord, sometimes we put you to the side.

[SPEAKER_00]: We only use you when we feel like we have to.

[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes we behave as if you're not important enough.

[SPEAKER_00]: As if you're just there for the side issues Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we pray, Lord God right now,

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, I pray that for those right now who don't know what to do with their life right now, that you will help them, that they will apply you first, that Lord God, you will be the first thing in their life in the morning, the last thing at night, that you will bless them, that their lives will be changed, Lord Jesus Christ, that they will see blessings each and every day, that they will feel your presence,

[SPEAKER_00]: that they will not think that they have forever because we don't, that they will understand that the others in their lives don't matter near as much as you.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I pray Lord Jesus Christ, that the others in their lives will see you through them, that they will see your light shining, that they will have the faith they need, that they will see all this come to be, that they who are God could be your masterpiece.
