  1. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's now turn the page, excuse me, to second Timothy, second Timothy chapter 2 verse 3.

    2 Timothy 2:3

  2. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, second Timothy chapter 2 verse 3.

    2 Timothy 2:3

  3. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a very, very short verse.

  4. [SPEAKER_00]: So let's just stand for half a second.

  5. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, sit down and get it.

  6. [SPEAKER_00]: Second Timothy chapter 2 verse 3.

    2 Timothy 2:3

  7. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says,

  8. [SPEAKER_00]: and set the Timothy chapter two verse three, and do our hard times as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

  9. [SPEAKER_00]: God bless and honor the reading of His word, and you may be seated.

  10. [SPEAKER_00]: For those who are just still turning, I apologize, we're gonna go back to that later on.

  11. [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna go back, you may be seated.

  12. [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna go back just a little bit later on, but for now, that's all we're gonna do.

  13. [SPEAKER_00]: When I was young, my brothers and my cousins and I,

  14. [SPEAKER_00]: We would play army a lot, maybe you did too, when you were young, maybe not, not for you young ladies, probably, probably $1 or so.

  15. [SPEAKER_00]: Who knows, maybe they play army, maybe you were a Tom Boy, that's what they used to call it.

  16. [SPEAKER_00]: But either way, we played armies a lot.

  17. [SPEAKER_00]: When we played with all sorts of army soldiers of things, one of the army soldiers we play with was the classic green plastic, you know, the green plastic toys.

  18. [SPEAKER_00]: It's before plastic was right.

  19. [SPEAKER_00]: They had the metal classic toys, you know, but we had the plastic green by the way, be very careful with those.

  20. [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently we left some out and they became pink through time.

  21. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, that is a little fitting towards now they army soldiers, but that being said,

  22. [SPEAKER_00]: They were out there too long under the dirt.

  23. [SPEAKER_00]: But we had those plastic ones.

  24. [SPEAKER_00]: We also had the GI Joe.

  25. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't talk about the 1980s GI Joe.

  26. [SPEAKER_00]: Not the classic one my father had back in the VALS.

  27. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, don't call that.

  28. [SPEAKER_00]: They were action figures.

  29. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the ones in first school.

  30. [SPEAKER_00]: It's called action figures.

  31. [SPEAKER_00]: And then the other kind that we played with was ourselves.

  32. [SPEAKER_00]: We would go out there, and my father used to take us to armistair plus store, the armistair plus store.

  33. [SPEAKER_00]: And on the armistair plus store, we would get all sorts of army helmets and different things.

  34. [SPEAKER_00]: And even just army helmet liners, we didn't know a difference, so he thought it, my brother Matthew probably did, but we would set their way play with that as if it was an army helmet.

  35. [SPEAKER_00]: And boy, do we have a good old time?

  36. [SPEAKER_00]: But my poor mom, we come in dirties all get out.

  37. [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't appreciate that too often, let's I don't think.

  38. [SPEAKER_00]: But we had a great time playing with these playing army.

  39. [SPEAKER_00]: And what kind of soldier would we be?

  40. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of soldier would we choose?

  41. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, usually infantry.

  42. [SPEAKER_00]: But the question then comes, what kind of soldier would you be if you had to choose?

  43. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it all depended upon that month.

  44. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of cartoon will we watch?

  45. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of movie will kind of show?

  46. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of comic book?

  47. [SPEAKER_00]: Or were we into at that moment?

  48. [SPEAKER_00]: Because it changed so often.

  49. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there are all sorts of inspirations that our father loved history and love to talk about it.

  50. [SPEAKER_00]: And so he watched a lot of shows.

  51. [SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes we would be inspired by John Wayne, y'all remember John Wayne.

  52. [SPEAKER_00]: John Wayne or the World War II movies that just happened to me on that weekend that he would record or watch or talk about.

  53. [SPEAKER_00]: or other war films, because there's a whole but some of them were Vietnam, some were War War One, very few, and some were others, Korean wars.

  54. [SPEAKER_00]: But then there were the 1980s, the mid-1980s, you had Rambo.

  55. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my goodness.

  56. [SPEAKER_00]: We all wanted to be Rambo, and we all bought those survivor knives.

  57. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember, and my goodness me, we all had to run around with that.

  58. [SPEAKER_00]: But what kind of soldier would you be?

  59. [SPEAKER_00]: That becomes an interesting thought.

  60. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of soldier

  61. [SPEAKER_00]: but the title today's sermon is kind of a soldier, kind of a soldier.

  62. [SPEAKER_00]: And I will go back to the question, what kind of soldier, what type of soldier?

  63. [SPEAKER_00]: Now there are six official branches of U.S. Armed Forces, United States Armed Forces.

  64. [SPEAKER_00]: You have the Army, you have the Navy.

  65. [SPEAKER_00]: You have the Marine Corps, you have the Air Force, you have the Coast Guard, and you have now space force.

  66. [SPEAKER_00]: I know it sounds like some kind of a starfleet, you know, for Star Trek.

  67. [SPEAKER_00]: But that really is a new part of the infantry space force.

  68. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what they're gonna do, but that's true, it's a part of it now.

  69. [SPEAKER_00]: These units, they have different units in these branches.

  70. [SPEAKER_00]: There's the units of the,

  71. [SPEAKER_00]: In other words, the combat roles, you have the infantry, and you have the armor, which in other words, tankers, you have the artillery, which is cannons and such, and there's a lot of different things they do.

  72. [SPEAKER_00]: You have the special forces.

  73. [SPEAKER_00]: The special forces are different elite units, special reconnaances, and then you also have the combat engineers.

  74. [SPEAKER_00]: These are types of troops that build structures.

  75. [SPEAKER_00]: You might remember that.

  76. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember to have the different bridges and things.

  77. [SPEAKER_00]: You, uh, you also would handle frontline explosives, you know, and, uh, or clear obstacles.

  78. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I'd want to be those types of people.

  79. [SPEAKER_00]: You remember the types that would put those little sticky bombs on the side of the tanks?

  80. [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't want to be that type, because man, they're men who lost their arms doing such things.

  81. [SPEAKER_00]: Boy, uh, or laser or live.

  82. [SPEAKER_00]: There are many other many other types, too many specialty types, a whole lot, but you had to be the best of the best, and then there were the best of the best, you had the Navy seals, you had the snipers, airborne, my brother's an airborne, they went in and why you had to be really good, not just because you jumped, but you were the first in there in those positions, at least in the army, and there was another army type called the green beret, you remember them fighting soldiers from this, got you remember that?

  83. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then there is the marine raider is also known as the Force Recon and Accedera Accedera Accedera Accedera There are many, many types.

  84. [SPEAKER_00]: So again, what kind of soldier would you be if you could be a soldier?

  85. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's the thing, you are a soldier.

  86. [SPEAKER_00]: You are a Christian soldier.

  87. [SPEAKER_00]: And I talk about this at least once.

  88. [SPEAKER_00]: You're we talk about being a Christian soldier, but the question is, what grade?

  89. [SPEAKER_00]: What type of Christian soldier are you?

  90. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you active?

  91. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you an active Christian soldier?

  92. [SPEAKER_00]: And what is your calling, your position?

  93. [SPEAKER_00]: of a Christian soldier.

  94. [SPEAKER_00]: God calls us all to be Christian soldiers, but some Christian soldiers aren't as active as they ought to be.

  95. [SPEAKER_00]: They say, well, I'm saved.

  96. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a part of God's Christian army.

  97. [SPEAKER_00]: And some people don't believe they are.

  98. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't believe they are a part of God's army.

  99. [SPEAKER_00]: It's written, no, no, no, I wasn't called to be a part of his army.

  100. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, if you're a Christian, the moment you do become a Christian, you become a soldier.

  101. [SPEAKER_00]: You become a soldier.

  102. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I am not saying the moment you become saved, you come down to the aisle.

  103. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Jesus Christ has saved you of your sins.

  104. [SPEAKER_00]: And suddenly give that man a rifle, give him a backpack.

  105. [SPEAKER_00]: He's ready to go out there and fight the enemy.

  106. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not what we're saying.

  107. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not what we're saying at all.

  108. [SPEAKER_00]: And I said it before, and I'll say it again.

  109. [SPEAKER_00]: The enemy

  110. [SPEAKER_00]: The enemy is not the lost man or lost woman, lost person.

  111. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, the enemy is Satan's enemy, but he uses the lost person against you, because they don't know, they don't know any better.

  112. [SPEAKER_00]: They think you're the enemy.

  113. [SPEAKER_00]: In reality, you're not the enemy.

  114. [SPEAKER_00]: Satan's enemy against him too.

  115. [SPEAKER_00]: They do something no one knew better.

  116. [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta remember that.

  117. [SPEAKER_00]: One time you wanna thought the same, I don't know.

  118. [SPEAKER_00]: But God loves them too.

  119. [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta remember that.

  120. [SPEAKER_00]: He loves them and he loves you.

  121. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that too.

  122. [SPEAKER_00]: So what grade, what type of Christian soldier are you?

  123. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you active?

  124. [SPEAKER_00]: What is your calling?

  125. [SPEAKER_00]: So remember, the moment you become a Christian, you are enlisted into the army of God.

  126. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's now go to Galatians.

  127. [SPEAKER_00]: Chapter three.

  128. [SPEAKER_00]: verse 27.

  129. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says in Galatians 327, for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

  130. [SPEAKER_00]: You put him on.

  131. [SPEAKER_00]: You're wearing him.

  132. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I don't mean putting him on like teasing him or putting him on like, you know, because people say, are you put me on?

  133. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you joking with me?

  134. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're not to do that.

  135. [SPEAKER_00]: There's to be Christians who do that too.

  136. [SPEAKER_00]: They're putting on Christ.

  137. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you really want to live for me or not?

  138. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no.

  139. [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't want to be easier to wear him.

  140. [SPEAKER_00]: Wear him like a uniform.

  141. [SPEAKER_00]: You're to put him on and wear him like a uniform.

  142. [SPEAKER_00]: People are supposed to see Jesus.

  143. [SPEAKER_00]: Not you.

  144. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, we mess up sometimes every single one of us mess up.

  145. [SPEAKER_00]: Those are the moments that the flesh has seen.

  146. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's not a excuse to keep doing it.

  147. [SPEAKER_00]: where it's supposed to put Christ on and where Him is a uniform.

  148. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's turn to Ephesians chapter six.

  149. [SPEAKER_00]: You knew I was going there.

  150. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians chapter six verse 10, 318, Ephesians six.

  151. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is really good to keep with, I haven't marked, and I even have it color coded with a little bit of red, but mostly with green because it's the army, you know.

  152. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says this, I'll give you just a moment to look at that.

  153. [SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians 6, 10, 3, King.

  154. [SPEAKER_00]: Finally, my brothers, and this is Paul speaking to the people of Ephesus.

  155. [SPEAKER_00]: Finally, my brothers be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

  156. [SPEAKER_00]: Put on the whole arm of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

  157. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, He's the enemy, not the people of the world.

  158. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we read this quite a bit.

  159. [SPEAKER_00]: because it's important, it's good to remind ourselves who the true enemy is, not your brothers in real life, not your sisters in real life, how about your flesh and not the people at your job, the enemy is Satan who tries to use him against you.

  160. [SPEAKER_00]: put on the whole of our god that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

  161. [SPEAKER_00]: For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against a rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

  162. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the devil.

  163. [SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day and having done all to stand.

  164. [SPEAKER_00]: Stand there for having your waist girded with truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness, having your feet fitted with the readiness of gospel of peace, with the gospel of peace.

  165. [SPEAKER_00]: And above all, there's this verse 16 now,

  166. [SPEAKER_00]: with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery darts, excuse me, it says darts in certain versions, fiery arrows of the evil one.

  167. [SPEAKER_00]: Satan's gonna shoot them at you every single day.

  168. [SPEAKER_00]: You're a part of the army, he's gonna take it out at you.

  169. [SPEAKER_00]: That one doesn't work, other arrows.

  170. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, lust isn't gonna work on this gentleman, are this lady.

  171. [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna try it with temperament.

  172. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not gonna work.

  173. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll try something else.

  174. [SPEAKER_00]: keep shooting the arrows, you've seen it, you've seen your war movies, you've seen Robin Hood, whatever it might be, they're different types of war moves.

  175. [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to use them, that that was going to try to use the weaknesses in here, well, they've been didn't fall for that, Dave was going to fall for us.

  176. [SPEAKER_00]: Dave was not going to fall for anger, Dave was going to fall for this, Dave, you've got to keep on trying until he finds the arrow that goes through the shink of armor, the little weakness in your armor.

  177. [SPEAKER_00]: He's going to keep trying and tell you to fight a weakness.

  178. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why you don't just study one day and be done with it.

  179. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why you know, just study on Sunday and be done with it.

  180. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I went to church on Sunday.

  181. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, brings the Lord.

  182. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so glad you did.

  183. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to did.

  184. [SPEAKER_00]: I get your attention.

  185. [SPEAKER_00]: I hope so.

  186. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so glad that you did come to church on Sunday.

  187. [SPEAKER_00]: But it shouldn't just be that you came to church on Sunday.

  188. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're done with being studying and praying and done with feeling Christianly.

  189. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it should be that there's Sunday night, you pray again.

  190. [SPEAKER_00]: It should be that that Monday morning, you pray again, that you go to the word again, where there'd be a daily verse, no matter what it might be, that you're prepared because the fiery arrows are going to come at you again.

  191. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the devil loves to keep fire and are you ready?

  192. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you ready?

  193. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not always ready, Pastor.

  194. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, neither am I, but guess what?

  195. [SPEAKER_00]: When you recognize those arrows,

  196. [SPEAKER_00]: your single sounds, brave heart or whatever they might be.

  197. [SPEAKER_00]: And you see those arrows going up.

  198. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're watching them and you said, let's say, oh, and there's a horrible part of you that, oh, this is gonna be good.

  199. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's another part of you that says, oh man, what are they gonna do?

  200. [SPEAKER_00]: I hope it doesn't hit anyone I like in the film because they know how to get you.

  201. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't think in those movies, but you see them and some of them are smart.

  202. [SPEAKER_00]: And they put up their shields right away.

  203. [SPEAKER_00]: And some are dumb, they're doing stupid things.

  204. [SPEAKER_00]: And they might be sitting and scratching the neck and before too long, the arrow gets them in the neck.

  205. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't be one of those stupid creatures.

  206. [SPEAKER_00]: They're sitting in a scratch in the neck and pan, and teaching us something else.

  207. [SPEAKER_00]: Put up the shield of faith.

  208. [SPEAKER_00]: Be prepared for the arrows of the devil.

  209. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he's going to try to get you.

  210. [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta be prepared.

  211. [SPEAKER_00]: Be ready.

  212. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the fire arrows of the E1, verse 17, take the helmet of salvation.

  213. [SPEAKER_00]: And the sword of the spirit, which is the word, oh God.

  214. [SPEAKER_00]: I've said it a hundred times, folks, and I'll say it again.

  215. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just the sword that is the word of God.

  216. [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, yes, yes, the sword is a word of God.

  217. [SPEAKER_00]: The sword is a word of God.

  218. [SPEAKER_00]: It is used as a defense against the enemy, and an offense to.

  219. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a devil, it's a devil weapon.

  220. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the shield is a protection.

  221. [SPEAKER_00]: The helmet is a protection.

  222. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I can't imagine taking off your helmet, don't do that, but I can't imagine taking off the helmet and hitting someone with it.

  223. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't do that.

  224. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep the helmet on.

  225. [SPEAKER_00]: But the sword is the one that is both a weapon of protection, defense, you know, and offense.

  226. [SPEAKER_00]: because not only are you protecting yourself, defending yourself from the enemy, but you're also going against the enemy.

  227. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what Jesus did when he was in the wilderness and Satan kept coming at him, misusing, scripture.

  228. [SPEAKER_00]: Did Jesus go, oh, maybe he's right.

  229. [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen Christians do that.

  230. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of them will quote the Bible, misquote the Bible usually.

  231. [SPEAKER_00]: Did Jesus say, does not?

  232. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get through that in a couple of weeks.

  233. [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't the Bible say,

  234. [SPEAKER_00]: and they say stuff like that, I wanted Jesus to.

  235. [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't just sit, go, you know, maybe he's right.

  236. [SPEAKER_00]: He did do that.

  237. [SPEAKER_00]: What he did?

  238. [SPEAKER_00]: He came back with a scripture in full meaning.

  239. [SPEAKER_00]: He had other scriptures.

  240. [SPEAKER_00]: He had the sword.

  241. [SPEAKER_00]: He was prepared with the word.

  242. [SPEAKER_00]: not to defend himself in the sense that look how smart I am.

  243. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.

  244. [SPEAKER_00]: He wanted you to know that he knew the word.

  245. [SPEAKER_00]: He was going to use the word for protection to stay away from those who were trying to destroy you and destroy your stance with the Lord.

  246. [SPEAKER_00]: He has soldered a completely compared soldier, compared soldier, be ready to serve God at all times and all times.

  247. [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever heard of Christ say, I was in the army?

  248. [SPEAKER_00]: That's great.

  249. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad you was.

  250. [SPEAKER_00]: But don't say, I went to the military in 1991.

  251. [SPEAKER_00]: So I know I can go out and do anything.

  252. [SPEAKER_00]: That was 1991.

  253. [SPEAKER_00]: I seriously doubt you're in great basic training shape now.

  254. [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds over for me to say that.

  255. [SPEAKER_00]: That was you, my brother, one of my brothers went 1991.

  256. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not in shape for that right now.

  257. [SPEAKER_00]: know, but that doesn't mean he's not in better shape than me.

  258. [SPEAKER_00]: He is physically.

  259. [SPEAKER_00]: However, I seriously doubt that the army would come to him right now and say, hey, you was once in basic training.

  260. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, use you now.

  261. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you're out of basic training, spirits are speaking, God can't use you for what's you were 1991.

  262. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what 35 years ago, he's not going to use you for the way you were 35 years.

  263. [SPEAKER_00]: He needs you to be prepared and ready now.

  264. [SPEAKER_00]: He needs you to be ready now.

  265. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll go on.

  266. [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 18, pray in the spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication.

  267. [SPEAKER_00]: to the end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

  268. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just for you.

  269. [SPEAKER_00]: It's for your brothers and sisters in Christ, near you.

  270. [SPEAKER_00]: Be ready, be ready in season out of season.

  271. [SPEAKER_00]: Always be ready.

  272. [SPEAKER_00]: If people need help, then you prayer, then you help, then you're so into lean on, you need to be ready, be the soldier prepared.

  273. [SPEAKER_00]: You know the first I'm gonna say,

  274. [SPEAKER_00]: first on four four, what is it, greatest he who is in me that he was with the world?

  275. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he who's in you need you to go to him and be prepared every day, get up.

  276. [SPEAKER_00]: Do your basic training.

  277. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking spiritually now.

  278. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want you to call me the morning say, Pastor dog on you, I had to get up and run across the block because you told me to be ready for basic training.

  279. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not telling you to be up at five in the morning and do all that physically.

  280. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking spiritually.

  281. [SPEAKER_00]: And it doesn't have to be five in the morning.

  282. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

  283. [SPEAKER_00]: It's when you in the Lord.

  284. [SPEAKER_00]: But first Corinthians, 10, 4 through 6.

  285. [SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians, 10, 4 through 6 says, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty for God to the putting down a strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against a knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to

  286. [SPEAKER_00]: and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete.

  287. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna be tempted to do things that are wrong, but when those disobedient moments come, price is ready to push that disobedience away, slowly, we stronger with him.

  288. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, everyone's tempted.

  289. [SPEAKER_00]: But this goes to tempted doesn't mean you have to give in.

  290. [SPEAKER_00]: I've had many, many people say to me, not just me.

  291. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's natural to want to send.

  292. [SPEAKER_00]: So I must have to, because otherwise I wouldn't be tempted, all that's done.

  293. [SPEAKER_00]: That's dumb.

  294. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want us to say that, that's dumb.

  295. [SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians 717.

  296. [SPEAKER_00]: First Corinthians 717.

  297. [SPEAKER_00]: But as God has given to every man, and as the Lord has called every man, so let him walk.

  298. [SPEAKER_00]: This I command in all churches, oh, I'll say it again.

  299. [SPEAKER_00]: This I command in all churches.

  300. [SPEAKER_00]: There's too many churches who are trying to teach and preach to do whatever you want.

  301. [SPEAKER_00]: That's to love you.

  302. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, does still love them?

  303. [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean he loves what they do.

  304. [SPEAKER_00]: So here comes the big statement, kind of a soldier, you know that wasn't originally what I was going to go for.

  305. [SPEAKER_00]: I was writing down what kind of a soldier and all this kind of stuff.

  306. [SPEAKER_00]: And I forgot to write the word what down, while I was doing it.

  307. [SPEAKER_00]: And I looked down and I said kind of a soldier and I was like, oh,

  308. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.

  309. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of people who are this kind of a soldier and somewhere kind of not a soldier.

  310. [SPEAKER_00]: It depends on the situation.

  311. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes we've done that, many people.

  312. [SPEAKER_00]: So some people are kind of a soldier, some are kind of not a soldier.

  313. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna go back to second Timothy after two verse three and four.

  314. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says, endure hard times as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

  315. [SPEAKER_00]: And I pray and hope you're a good soldier, Jesus Christ.

  316. [SPEAKER_00]: So I pray and hope for it.

  317. [SPEAKER_00]: It goes on to say, no soldier on active duty and list himself in civilian affairs.

  318. [SPEAKER_00]: that he may please the enlisting officer.

  319. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's talk about that.

  320. [SPEAKER_00]: And what does that mean that you're not protecting those people who are in civilian life?

  321. [SPEAKER_00]: If there's problem, that's not what we're talking about.

  322. [SPEAKER_00]: We're saying you don't behave like the ways of the world.

  323. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't go out there.

  324. [SPEAKER_00]: There's talking about you being a soldier of Christ.

  325. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't go out there and behave like the lost and do the things like the lost.

  326. [SPEAKER_00]: This way you may please the Lord God who enlisted you to be in His army.

  327. [SPEAKER_00]: There's too many people now, they say, well, I love everyone, I love the whole world, why it's true.

  328. [SPEAKER_00]: And you should love them.

  329. [SPEAKER_00]: But just because you love them, doesn't mean you behave like the people of the world.

  330. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I sit and say this, because I'm sitting here with a camouflage shirt on, but there's too many Christians who believe themselves to be a camouflage Christian, blending in with the world.

  331. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to blend in with them.

  332. [SPEAKER_00]: There's other people who are sniper Christians.

  333. [SPEAKER_00]: This is on the other end.

  334. [SPEAKER_00]: a Christian who sets out in hiding and never is out there for the whole world of seed.

  335. [SPEAKER_00]: But once in a while, there's only internet or whatever else, someone will say something, oh yeah, and they've soon out a little scarcer, he hit someone hard, and then walks away and hides again.

  336. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a sniper Christian you've seen him.

  337. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what?

  338. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah,

  339. [SPEAKER_00]: and it hurts them really bad.

  340. [SPEAKER_00]: And they go, hey, and kind of cowardly, really.

  341. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not necessarily living it, or they may some are.

  342. [SPEAKER_00]: But they snipe people, boom, boom, boom, with scriptures, and kind of a smoky, jerky way.

  343. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not loving, usually.

  344. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it can be, but usually it's not.

  345. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about talking to people about Christ.

  346. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about sniping them with it.

  347. [SPEAKER_00]: Snipe them with the scripture to make you feel bad.

  348. [SPEAKER_00]: you know, hitting them and running.

  349. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what people do.

  350. [SPEAKER_00]: So by the way, there's not a attack on actual sniping a sniper soldiers of the army.

  351. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to talk about that.

  352. [SPEAKER_00]: And then there's other types of Christians who are double agents who work on both sides.

  353. [SPEAKER_00]: And then one knows who the trust he there was a movie and one that great my opinion was okay.

  354. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the Indiana Jones last year.

  355. [SPEAKER_00]: One of the last one was on before, King of the Crystal Schools.

  356. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, there was this guy in the film.

  357. [SPEAKER_00]: He would end up being a double agent and another double agent.

  358. [SPEAKER_00]: You didn't know whose side he was on his annoying.

  359. [SPEAKER_00]: The point of the film was, you didn't know what side he was on.

  360. [SPEAKER_00]: It was done.

  361. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the way some Christians behave.

  362. [SPEAKER_00]: One minute the act Christian for if they're with Christian people, then the act of the world, one with the world, and then they go back a fort when they were just with you, oh, he by the way, I agree with you the whole time.

  363. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, then stand up for Christ.

  364. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, it doesn't matter what I think, if we're about the elisting officer, the Lord God, if you really love the Lord, stick up for God.

  365. [SPEAKER_00]: Come on, if you're really on guy's side, be with him.

  366. [SPEAKER_00]: How about this?

  367. [SPEAKER_00]: How many Christians are A-wall?

  368. [SPEAKER_00]: Are they're on the fence?

  369. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't want to be with the Lord God cause it might make him get made fun of.

  370. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're gonna get made fun of the Bible talks about it.

  371. [SPEAKER_00]: Take up that cross and follow me.

  372. [SPEAKER_00]: That means take up the death.

  373. [SPEAKER_00]: And all that you're not gonna be popular and really who cares?

  374. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't need popular all the time anyway.

  375. [SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather be mocked over loving Christ than anything else.

  376. [SPEAKER_00]: Because when you die, you're not going to be in front of your buddy at work.

  377. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be in front of the Lord God.

  378. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my, you're too many A walls, fitting people who aren't with the Lord.

  379. [SPEAKER_00]: Too many, militia men, citizens.

  380. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, what is militia men back on the day?

  381. [SPEAKER_00]: These were citizens who were required to serve by law, they went back home and farm where they could.

  382. [SPEAKER_00]: Unless they were signed by a contract, these were militiamen.

  383. [SPEAKER_00]: There are many militiamen Christians.

  384. [SPEAKER_00]: They're there because they don't feel like they can help it.

  385. [SPEAKER_00]: They have to go to church or whatever, but they're not truly in because they feel led to be there in part of the Dodge Army.

  386. [SPEAKER_00]: They do because they feel like they have to.

  387. [SPEAKER_00]: Then there's the reservist, the reservist crisis, and they're on their reserves.

  388. [SPEAKER_00]: And you know who the reserves are.

  389. [SPEAKER_00]: Now that's not said they're not soldiers.

  390. [SPEAKER_00]: Some have really gone and helped.

  391. [SPEAKER_00]: But the reserves are soldiers who one week in a month, though, and are basically part-time soldiers.

  392. [SPEAKER_00]: part time soldier you guys know about that so this part time soldier don't be a part time Christian soldier be a full time Christian soldier be on fire for Christ and serve the Lord God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind with all that you got don't be a part

  393. [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you've heard about it for the last week.

  394. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's Dolly Parton.

  395. [SPEAKER_00]: I love Dolly Parton.

  396. [SPEAKER_00]: The great singer and performer.

  397. [SPEAKER_00]: She acted in several movies I like.

  398. [SPEAKER_00]: But she passed away at everyone loved her just about.

  399. [SPEAKER_00]: She was very sweet woman.

  400. [SPEAKER_00]: But unfortunately, she was a part-time kind of a soldier, and kind of not.

  401. [SPEAKER_00]: She loved that.

  402. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no doubt about it.

  403. [SPEAKER_00]: And she was a Christian.

  404. [SPEAKER_00]: She definitely was a Christian.

  405. [SPEAKER_00]: But when it came kind of talk about the Lord, she was very half and half.

  406. [SPEAKER_00]: She definitely spoke about love in Jesus and she spoke about usually in kind of a nonsense on it.

  407. [SPEAKER_00]: About that, I just mean she loves God.

  408. [SPEAKER_00]: She loves Jesus, that's true.

  409. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's great.

  410. [SPEAKER_00]: She said that that was her way.

  411. [SPEAKER_00]: She was raised that way as a kid.

  412. [SPEAKER_00]: That's great.

  413. [SPEAKER_00]: But she also promoted and spent millions if not more dollars promoting lifestyles are not biblical.

  414. [SPEAKER_00]: And she would promote it and talk about it.

  415. [SPEAKER_00]: There's one thing she said she agreed with, even though that'd be wrong too.

  416. [SPEAKER_00]: But she promoted it and spent so much money and would talk about it.

  417. [SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of those people that lifestyle would dress up like her and still do.

  418. [SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why I'm bringing this up is what kind of soldier was he kind of a soldier?

  419. [SPEAKER_00]: She was kind of a soldier when it suited her.

  420. [SPEAKER_00]: When it suited her in certain interviews or when it suited her on the stage, when it suited her and then when it suited her to fit in with other people, then she wasn't.

  421. [SPEAKER_00]: or she's the kind of God loves everybody.

  422. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, that's a very generic thing to say.

  423. [SPEAKER_00]: He does love everyone, but he also loves us and has to correct us as soldiers.

  424. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine going to the enlisting officer, which is the Lord God and saying, I'm going to go out there as a soldier, and I'm going to take out the enemy, what you say.

  425. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not going to take out these situations that Satan has put up a fort in.

  426. [SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't do that in the army.

  427. [SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't tell the enlisting officer, what is right and what is wrong?

  428. [SPEAKER_00]: No, you knew what the enlisting officer has told you to do.

  429. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, sorry enlisting officer, Lord.

  430. [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not where I stand.

  431. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, that's not your job.

  432. [SPEAKER_00]: Your job is to do what God has told you.

  433. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to do it with love.

  434. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to do it with compassion.

  435. [SPEAKER_00]: But you're still his soldier.

  436. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not yours.

  437. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  438. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I don't mean that as disrespect to her.

  439. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I mean that as respect to all of us as soldiers of God, James chapter 2 verse 18 James chapter 2 18, but a man, that means a person, a man may say, you have faith and I have works.

James 2:18 James 2 chapter mention

  440. [SPEAKER_00]: Show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works.

  441. [SPEAKER_00]: a person to say, oh, they long, I love God.

  442. [SPEAKER_00]: I love God, I love God.

  443. [SPEAKER_00]: But if your works are different, what's the point?

  444. [SPEAKER_00]: You can say you're part of this army of the Lord.

  445. [SPEAKER_00]: But if all day long, it looks like you're serving two sides

  446. [SPEAKER_00]: What's the point?

  447. [SPEAKER_00]: Sure, God, I got on home.

  448. [SPEAKER_00]: So what temperature soldier are you?

  449. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that may sound silly.

  450. [SPEAKER_00]: I originally was going to draw a picture of different types of soldier.

  451. [SPEAKER_00]: I was too tired to do so yesterday.

  452. [SPEAKER_00]: I just couldn't do it.

  453. [SPEAKER_00]: Then I was going to have different types of soldiers and everything else.

  454. [SPEAKER_00]: I was even going to draw a little girl playing with a Barbie or old GIG.

  455. [SPEAKER_00]: I was going to draw all sorts.

  456. [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't get to it.

  457. [SPEAKER_00]: That's OK.

  458. [SPEAKER_00]: So what temperature soldier are you?

  459. [SPEAKER_00]: There's different types of soldiers in the military.

  460. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't imagine.

  461. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine being that cold?

  462. [SPEAKER_00]: I remember as a key with one of the judge's characters, his name was Snowjob and, you know, later on, people say that had,

  463. [SPEAKER_00]: drug meaning, which I didn't know about, but anyway, yes, no job, R to give for treat.

  464. [SPEAKER_00]: They had desert jungle forces.

  465. [SPEAKER_00]: I always enjoyed them.

  466. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a real thing.

  467. [SPEAKER_00]: But the question isn't that about us.

  468. [SPEAKER_00]: The question becomes, what's spiritual temperature setting are you in?

  469. [SPEAKER_00]: What's spiritual temperature setting are you in?

  470. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you a cold Christian soldier?

  471. [SPEAKER_00]: A cold Christian soldier?

  472. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you a lukewarm stagnant Christian soldier?

  473. [SPEAKER_00]: Or are you a hot Christmas soldier?

  474. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about looks.

  475. [SPEAKER_00]: We already know where I stand with that.

  476. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm kidding.

  477. [SPEAKER_00]: But are you hot with the holy fire of rice?

  478. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you that kind of Christmas soldier?

  479. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get into this.

  480. [SPEAKER_00]: When you're cold, there's no burning of the Spirit within you.

  481. [SPEAKER_00]: You're far away from what God has called you to do.

  482. [SPEAKER_00]: That is a cold soldier.

  483. [SPEAKER_00]: One who's not serving like they should.

  484. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what it says.

  485. [SPEAKER_00]: In Proverbs 14, 14.

  486. [SPEAKER_00]: Proverbs 14, 14, it says, the back slider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied with his.

  487. [SPEAKER_00]: And then here's the one.

  488. [SPEAKER_00]: Romans 12, Romans 12, 11.

  489. [SPEAKER_00]: Do not be lazy and diligence.

  490. [SPEAKER_00]: Do not be lazy and diligence.

  491. [SPEAKER_00]: Be fervent in the Spirit, serve the Lord.

  492. [SPEAKER_00]: We're the Sergah.

  493. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not to be a cold soldier.

  494. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not to be a cold soldier in spirit.

  495. [SPEAKER_00]: Not at all.

  496. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, are you a lukewarm stagnant soldier?

  497. [SPEAKER_00]: Very lukewarm.

  498. [SPEAKER_00]: not going one way or the other.

  499. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not to be that either.

  500. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the one that talks about it all.

  501. [SPEAKER_00]: Revelation chapter three.

  502. [SPEAKER_00]: He was talking to a church in the future.

  503. [SPEAKER_00]: Revelation chapter three verse 15 and 16 and you're going to want to mark this down.

  504. [SPEAKER_00]: Revelation chapter three 15 through 16.

  505. [SPEAKER_00]: I know your works.

  506. [SPEAKER_00]: This is Jesus speaking, by the way, Jesus is speaking.

  507. [SPEAKER_00]: I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot.

  508. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish you were cold or hot, by the way, he's not suggesting it's cold, okay, as far as being a Christian soldier.

  509. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish you were either cold or hot, so then because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you

  510. [SPEAKER_00]: out of my mouth.

  511. [SPEAKER_00]: Now there are other versions say say spew you, which means the same thing.

  512. [SPEAKER_00]: But I remember as a kid when I first heard spew for whatever reason that were spew, sounded so gross to me.

  513. [SPEAKER_00]: Be a soldier for God.

  514. [SPEAKER_00]: that is hot on fire, on fire with the Holy Spirit, hot on fire.

  515. [SPEAKER_00]: I've mentioned this before, and I'll mention it again.

  516. [SPEAKER_00]: When I went down to Hot Springs, Arkansas, 1985, my brother, he was honorary, but he meant well, he really did.

  517. [SPEAKER_00]: He thought that this was a cold spring.

  518. [SPEAKER_00]: He thought that it was, well, he thought it was a water fountain.

  519. [SPEAKER_00]: We never seen water fountain with water coming out the whole time.

  520. [SPEAKER_00]: He told me, take a drink of that.

  521. [SPEAKER_00]: I was stupid.

  522. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know any better.

  523. [SPEAKER_00]: I was ignorant.

  524. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize it was a hot spring and folks yikes.

  525. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to lie to you.

  526. [SPEAKER_00]: I had a blister in my mouth so bad.

  527. [SPEAKER_00]: That was the hottest thing I ever drinking in my entire life.

  528. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to drink that, that's all I'm saying to you, but I'll tell you this.

  529. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to be on fire for God, you need to be on fire hotter than that spring.

  530. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to be on fire for God.

  531. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to be cold because cold means that you're not being used with a little or God.

  532. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no.

  533. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to be on fire for Christ.

  534. [SPEAKER_00]: Let those spirit is the spirit of this on fire, not you.

  535. [SPEAKER_00]: What does it say?

  536. [SPEAKER_00]: What does Jesus say once again, this time is Matthew chapter 5 for 16 and this is on the the amount to be attitudes, the amount to be attitudes, Jesus says on Matthew chapter 5 for 16, let your light so shine before bin, light is hot, it's shining, let your light so shine before

Matthew 5 chapter mention Matthew 5 chapter mention

  537. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, many times when people talk about works, we talk about look what we're earning, what we're not talking about that.

  538. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the fact that people see your good works.

  539. [SPEAKER_00]: They see that you're shining hot.

  540. [SPEAKER_00]: So that the glory of God is seen, not you.

  541. [SPEAKER_00]: The glory of God is seen, be that hot.

  542. [SPEAKER_00]: Let the Holy Spirit hot, Holy fire be seen and you be hot on fire from Christ.

  543. [SPEAKER_00]: You ever seen a pastor up there, and there'd be Billy Graham, whoever, and they're speaking and all my goodness, you can just tell the Holy Spirit's going through them.

  544. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you'll love it.

  545. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'll tell you one of the types of soldiers, you need to be for the Lord God.

  546. [SPEAKER_00]: One that is not worried about anything else, one that's gonna speak the truth.

  547. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about being hateful.

  548. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about being cruel.

  549. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about one that's hot in temper, but hot in temperature with the Holy Spirit.

  550. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about minute moon Christian.

  551. [SPEAKER_00]: Minute Man Christian you know back in the day these men during the days the revolutionary war says they were a minute man Christian That's what we need to be what is a minute man a minute man or a minute man or a minute man or ready in a minutes notice Yeah, you know, I one of my favorite episodes of the endigraphy show.

  552. [SPEAKER_00]: It's I love any griffy.

  553. [SPEAKER_00]: Tells the little boys these were a minute

  554. [SPEAKER_00]: He said to him, and we need to be the Mayberry Minute Man.

  555. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I say we need to be the Christian Minute Man.

  556. [SPEAKER_00]: Our Minute Women, if that's better suits you, I personally think it doesn't matter what you call yourself, but be Minute Man for God, be a Minute Man Christian.

  557. [SPEAKER_00]: Ready in a minutes notice, and there's too many Christians who are only around for a minute.

  558. [SPEAKER_00]: They say, I'm on fire for Christ.

  559. [SPEAKER_00]: I love Jesus.

  560. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a Christian, but they're only around for a minute.

  561. [SPEAKER_00]: And the moment they ask Jesus Christ, I'm going to heaven.

  562. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't need anything else.

  563. [SPEAKER_00]: Well that's not the kind of minute men that we need for the Lord.

  564. [SPEAKER_00]: We need the kind that are ready in a minute's notice.

  565. [SPEAKER_00]: And what do I mean by that?

  566. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when there's people who have questions about the Lord, when there's people who are asking how do I go to heaven, when there people say, I don't know where to go, I don't know what to do, that you in just a minute's notice.

  567. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm really talking a second, so you have scriptures prepared.

  568. [SPEAKER_00]: You have answers prepared, not your answers.

  569. [SPEAKER_00]: Not your opinions, not your ideas, but the ideas, the opinions and the scriptures and the answers of Jesus Christ from His Word that you know where to go.

  570. [SPEAKER_00]: Why do you think I handed out by the way there's still some left tip here on the front?

  571. [SPEAKER_00]: Why do you think I handed out a page there today of 50 favorite scriptures?

  572. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, there's a whole lot more.

  573. [SPEAKER_00]: I had to break it down to be actual scriptures, actual verses.

  574. [SPEAKER_00]: But there are so many scripts that we need to have with us at all times.

  575. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to have some questions.

  576. [SPEAKER_00]: You have an answer more importantly.

  577. [SPEAKER_00]: God has to answer through you for those people.

  578. [SPEAKER_00]: That way, you can be minute-minute Christians.

  579. [SPEAKER_00]: You'd be prepared to answer what they need to know.

  580. [SPEAKER_00]: God has you there for a reason, and it could very well be so that you can give the answers that they're asking.

  581. [SPEAKER_00]: But you cannot give the answers unless you're prepared.

  582. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think those minute men never would target practice?

  583. [SPEAKER_00]: What good would they have been?

  584. [SPEAKER_00]: If they never would target practice it?

  585. [SPEAKER_00]: Pastor, what do you mean?

  586. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, get to know the word, get to know the word.

  587. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I know I use a lot of the same verses that getting it again and again and again and again.

  588. [SPEAKER_00]: You know why we're prepared so that when the time comes that people are needing to know the answers of the Lord God in the minutes, notice you'll have it, right here in your heart and come right out to you to them.

  589. [SPEAKER_00]: That when Satan is attacking them, you're gonna go, and you're sitting there in a minutes notice, having that answer prepared.

  590. [SPEAKER_00]: You understand?

  591. [SPEAKER_00]: I thank you, understand.

  592. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys are ready because whether you know or not, you are a minute-minute for Jesus.

  593. [SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah, you are.

  594. [SPEAKER_00]: You just know that you were.

  595. [SPEAKER_00]: But now you know, you're a minute-minute for Christ.

  596. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you are.

  597. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do what it says in 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17.

  598. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I love this.

  599. [SPEAKER_00]: Scripture, listen to this.

  600. [SPEAKER_00]: 2 Timothy 3, 16 through 17.

  601. [SPEAKER_00]: All Scripture is inspired by God and it's profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction, and righteousness that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work.

  602. [SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah, every good work.

  603. [SPEAKER_00]: If you have a problem in your life and you can't find something to Bible to help you with it,

  604. [SPEAKER_00]: You're looking in the wrong place.

  605. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you talking about wrong people?

  606. [SPEAKER_00]: I help you.

  607. [SPEAKER_00]: Man with a smartphone.

  608. [SPEAKER_00]: Now I will say sometimes they send you the wrong places.

  609. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's almost impossible not to find the script you're looking for.

  610. [SPEAKER_00]: If you know what you're doing, and you know where to look.

  611. [SPEAKER_00]: Hebrews 412, Hebrews 412.

  612. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the fourth chapter of Hebrews, verse 12.

  613. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says this, for the word of God is alive.

  614. [SPEAKER_00]: And sharper, oh yes, now this is just a cane.

  615. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll say it again.

  616. [SPEAKER_00]: The Word of God has alive and active and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the division of the soul and spirits of the joys and moral and able to judge the thoughts and intense of the heart.

  617. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the scripture.

  618. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the Word of God.

  619. [SPEAKER_00]: It's alive.

  620. [SPEAKER_00]: It helps you.

  621. [SPEAKER_00]: It will help you every single day.

  622. [SPEAKER_00]: If you go to it, if you go to the Word of God, it will go to you and will help you

  623. [SPEAKER_00]: You can be not just kind of a soldier.

  624. [SPEAKER_00]: You can be the kind of soldier that God wants you to be that you need to be the one that God wants you and needs you to be for the people in this world all around you in your life at every moment.

  625. [SPEAKER_00]: And you say, but I don't know how to minister.

  626. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't folks, you don't need to be a pastor.

  627. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to be a Billy Graham.

  628. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to be a Charles Stanley.

  629. [SPEAKER_00]: You just need to be a you.

  630. [SPEAKER_00]: God didn't call you to be me.

  631. [SPEAKER_00]: You could say a minute of that.

  632. [SPEAKER_00]: God didn't call you to be whoever else.

  633. [SPEAKER_00]: God called you to be you.

  634. [SPEAKER_00]: And you need to be ready like a minute man for a Jesus.

  635. [SPEAKER_00]: And God will speak to you and throw you to them.

  636. [SPEAKER_00]: And when Satan tries to attack, oh, here it comes again.

  637. [SPEAKER_00]: When Satan tries to have those single scriptures in a minute so let's protect yourself.

  638. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm telling you, it's going to help you like you never know.

  639. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to close today.

  640. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to close today, the second Timothy chapter 2, verse 15, second Timothy chapter 2, verse 15, study to show yourself a prove by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    2 Timothy 2:15 2 Timothy 2:15

  641. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to go out to the world today

  642. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of these things are gonna try to tear you up.

  643. [SPEAKER_00]: So the thing's the world says, the people might say they might be rude to you.

  644. [SPEAKER_00]: They might be people cutting in front of you on traffic or in line at Walton Harder where it is you go.

  645. [SPEAKER_00]: And you might say to yourself, I've never done a Walmart, okay, wherever it is, you go.

  646. [SPEAKER_00]: But wherever it is, people can be rude and crude and rude and all these things, you know.

  647. [SPEAKER_00]: But what I know is this, greatest use in you,

  648. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to treat them nice and great.

  649. [SPEAKER_00]: And that person may very well have curious.

  650. [SPEAKER_00]: And they might look towards you.

  651. [SPEAKER_00]: And God is going to speak to you to speak to that person.

  652. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's going to speak through you to that person.

  653. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to become a minute man.

  654. [SPEAKER_00]: And that script is going to come to you.

  655. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the very script you're like, wow, what a coincidence.

  656. [SPEAKER_00]: No one's hot coincidence.

  657. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the very script you're a God wanted to speak to that person and that person needed it.

  658. [SPEAKER_00]: And as you go on, ask yourself what kind of a soldier you are and make sure you're not just kind of a soldier, but a kind soldier.

  659. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  660. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

  661. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's bow and prayer.

  662. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you so much for loving us despite the fact that we don't deserve it none of us do.

  663. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray, Lord God, you will lead us in guidance for those Lord God who are here today,

  664. [SPEAKER_00]: who are called to join today.

  665. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray they will come up Lord during the invitation, they'll join.

  666. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord for those who are here in having physical problems, Lord, and they need to come up and pray, I pray they'll come forward, Lord.

  667. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray Lord God for those who are home and they feel alone.

  668. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray, Lord God, you speak to them, but they'll call up to you.

  669. [SPEAKER_00]: And Lord God, they will feel your presence.

  670. [SPEAKER_00]: They won't feel alone anymore.

  671. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray, Lord God, they will feel the Holy Spirit,

  672. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord wrapping these arms around them and I pray they will know that you've never left them and you never will.

  673. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord they're those who are on their way home.

  674. [SPEAKER_00]: They're on their way out.

  675. [SPEAKER_00]: And I pray Lord God you help them to know where they're on their way to.

  676. [SPEAKER_00]: And I pray Lord God that you will help them to prepare everything around them.

  677. [SPEAKER_00]: I pray all of this in your name for your will.

  678. [SPEAKER_00]: It will be the kind of soldier that we need to be in your holy name, amen and amen.
